Using a newly developed hybrid Monte Carlo algorithm for the nearest-neighbor (nn) t-J model, we show that antiholons identified in the supersymmetric inverse squared (IS) t-J model are clearly visible in the electron-addition spectrum of the nn t-J model at J=2t and also for J=0.5t, a value of experimental relevance.  相似文献

The exact solutions for 3-state and 4-state standard Potts models in external magnetic field are obtained within the framework of the Kramers-Wannier transfer matrix. We have studied the doping-driven orbital-selective Mott transition in multi-band Hubbard models with equal band width in the presence of crystal field splitting. Crystal field splitting lifts one of the bands while leaving the others degenerate. We use single-site dynamical mean-field theory combined with continuous time quantum Monte Carlo impurity solver to calculate a phase diagram as a function of total electron filling N and crystal field splitting Δ. We find a large region of orbital-selective Mott phase in the phase diagram when the doping is large enough. Further analysis indicates that the large region of orbital-selective Mott phase is driven and stabilized by doping. Such models may account for the orbital-selective Mott transition in some doped realistic strongly correlated materials.  相似文献

We report a Monte Carlo simulation of the layered Ising antiferromagnet under an external magnetic field. We show that under a staggered field, there occurs a phase transition from a metastable state which follows a Vogel-Fulcher law. Within the Green’s function and equations of motion formalism it is possible to exactly solve a large class of models useful for the study of strongly correlated systems. Here, we present the exact solution of the one-dimensional extended Hubbard model with on-site U and first nearest neighbor repulsive V interactions in the presence of an external magnetic field h, in the narrow band limit. At zero temperature our results establish the existence of four phases in the three-dimensional space (U, n, h) – n is the filling – with relative phase transitions, as well as different types of charge ordering. The magnetic field may dramatically affect the behavior of thermodynamic quantities, inducing, for instance, magnetization plateaus in the magnetization curves, and a change from a single to a double-peak tructure in the specific heat. According to the value of the particle density, we find one or two critical fields, marking the beginning of full or partial polarization. A detailed study of several thermodynamic quantities is also presented at finite temperature.  相似文献
