An experimental study of spallation in phenolic-resin based woven roving glass fibre reinforced composite material under uniaxial strain condition is reported in this paper. Experiments were carried out with a 101 mm bore single-stage light gas gun. The stress waves induced by plate impact propagate along the normal to glass fibre mats. The experiments show that the threshold of incipient spallation in this material depends strongly on the duration of stress wave and that this incipient spallation appears essentially in one layer. The criterion of spallation in this material given in this paper is in good agreement with experimental results. Besides, the spallation in phenolic-resin based obliquely laminated woven roving glass fibre reinforced composite material is also discussed in this paper.  相似文献

The solar chimney which has been built in Kerman (Kerman city-Iran) is a small scale electrical power plant. The chimney of this unit has 60 m height and 3 m diameter. The collector of this unit is 40 m × 40 m square. To reach nominal power of this unit of power plant, parameters which are effective in optimization are studied. In this regard, we deliberate and propose suggestions to maximize usage of solar energy and kinetic energy. The calculation of maximum power is one of the objectives of this study, so the paper present economic analysis for Kerman solar chimney. 本文利用有关矩阵扰动理论,从分析Davidson类方法中子空间的扩充向量入手,对Davidson方法的本质作了较为深入的研究,分析结果较为合理地解释了有关文献中的一些数值试验现象,本文利用文献[2]所提出的精化策略对D avidson类方法进行改造,得到了一个新的算法。数值试验表明,新算法是非常有效的,同时也验证了本文对Davidson类方法的本质的研究结论。  相似文献

We present in this paper a domain decomposition method to treat faults in geological basin modeling. The particularity of this model is that the faults whose widths are very small in comparison with the basin size, are not characterized as subdomains any more but as interfaces between sedimentary blocks. The originality of this work lies in the formulation of this new fault model and in the definition and the computation of the interface conditions between the subdomains. The bifurcation analysis of a simple electric power system involving two synchronous generators connected by a transmission network to an infinite-bus is carried out in this paper. In this system, the infinite-bus voltage are considered to maintain two fluctuations in the amplitude and phase angle. The case of 1:3 internal resonance between the two modes in the presence of parametric principal resonance is considered and examined. The method of multiple scales is used to obtain the bifurcation equations of this system. Then, by employing the singularity method, the transition sets determining different bifurcation patterns of the system are obtained and analyzed, which reveal the effects of the infinite-bus voltage amplitude and phase fluctuations on bifurcation patterns of this system. Finally, the bifurcation patterns are all examined by bifurcation diagrams. The results obtained in this paper will contribute to a better understanding of the complex nonlinear dynamic behaviors in a two-machine infinite-bus (TMIB) power system.  相似文献

Reflection type photoelastic experiment can be used more effectively than a transmission type photoelastic experiment especially in industrial fields. Moreover, composite materials have been widely used in engineering applications and structures because of their outstanding advantages which individual isotropic components do not have. The development of these materials requires a promising technique such as reflection photoelasticity to analyze their behaviors in service. Unfortunately, there are few experimental studies based on this technique. Therefore, a hybrid method based on this technique was developed in this research to analyze the fracture behavior of opaque anisotropic materials. The application of this method will help to understand the fracture behaviors of anisotropic materials used in engineering components and structures. The validity of this method was verified by comparison of the results obtained from this method with ones obtained from the hybrid methods for isotropic material on the same isotropic specimen. The reflection type photoelastic experiment for orthotropic materials was then applied to orthotropic plates with a central crack of various inclination angles. Using this hybrid method for anisotropic materials, stress intensity factors and separated stress components were obtained at the vicinity of the crack-tip in orthotropic plates from only the isochromatic fringe patterns of the isotropic coating material.  相似文献

依据岩土类材料的非匀质性特性,并采用对材料参数进行随机赋值的方法研制了弹塑性破裂过程数值分析程序,并用实例证明了程序的可靠性。应用该程序对岩石试样弹塑性破裂过程进行数值模拟研究.分析表明:数值模拟结果与试验研究结果是吻合的。从而为工程岩体断裂分析提出了一种可能的方法与途径。  相似文献

本文结合环板在线性荷载作用下的塑性极限分析问题,给出一种简便的计算方法,即奇异函数法。文中用此法计算了具有外边界或内边界支承的环板的极限荷载,并画出几何参数对极限荷载的影响曲线。所得的结果具有良好的规律性而且是比较合理的。  相似文献

The objective of this study is to efficiently simulate vortex-dominated highly unsteady flows. In such flows, the locations as well as the extent of the regions requiring fine-mesh resolution vary with time. A technique has been developed to simulate these flows on a temporally adapting grid in which the adaption is based on the evolving flow solution. The flow in an axisymmetric constriction has been selected as an illustrative problem. The multiple and disparate length scales inherent in this complex flow make this problem ideally suited for evaluating the adaptive-grid technique. Adaption is based on the equidistribution of a weight function, through the use of forcing functions. The significance of this is that the method can be implemented into existing flow-analysis systems with minimal changes. The grid-generation equations developed are viewed as grid-transport equations. The time-dependent control functions perform the role of the convective speed in this transport mechanism. The equations provide the efficiency and flow tracking capability of parabolic equations, while maintaining the smoothness of computationally expensive elliptic equations. The efficiency and flow tracking capability of the approach is demonstrated for both steady and unsteady flows.  相似文献

The strip necking model for strain-hardening materials is studied in this paper, in which the stress distributed over the strip necking zone is assumed to be ultimate stress. The bi-linear stress–strain relation which can model certain features of plastic flow is adopted in this model. The stress and strain fields are calculated based on this model in this paper. The size of the strip necking region is determined by balancing the stress intensity factor due to remote loading with that due to assumed closing forces equal to the ultimate tensile strength of the material distributed over the strip necking zone. It is interesting that the strip necking region size and the crack tip opening displacement depend not only on the remote load, but also the material hardening parameters, which is different from the results of strip yield model. The results agree with experiments well, and the model has wider application.  相似文献

The theory given in this paper is based on a generalization of Boltzmann's equation of linear viscoelasticity in which the presence of a Newtonian viscosity is acknowledged. The solution of Stokes' first problem for this kind of fluid, with a viscosity and a relaxation kernel, are derived here for the first time. The formulas given in this paper form a basis for the numerical interpretation of the idea of an effective viscosity and relaxation modulus.  相似文献

计算弹性地基梁板时,大都采用文克尔地基模型。由于该模型过于简化,不能正确反映土的工程性质,为此本文提出了一种双参数层状地基模型。该模型由一系列的弹性层组成,并对每一层中应力应变分布做了假设。通过积分变换的方法可以求出每一层表面处位移与力之间的关系,进而形成层刚度矩阵。按照有限元法的原理,可把每一层的刚度矩阵凝聚成总体刚度矩阵进行求解。本文模型是V1azov模型的延伸和发展。通过与V1azov模型计算结果的比较,证明本文方法是正确的。并且本文得到了荷载作用于层状模型内部时的解答,为将双参数地基模型用于桩基分析打下了理论基础。  相似文献

In this paper the integral constitutive equations of elastic-plastic materials are studied. The endochronic theory can be deduced from this theory. It is shown that the endochronic should be selected compatible with the yield function of the calssical plasticity and this can be considered as a principle of selecting endochronic. Applying this principle the appropriate endochronics of the plastically compressible materials and the orthotropic materials are derived. The second approximate theory of the integral constitutive equation is also discussed in this paper.This paper was reported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.  相似文献
