We introduce the concept of a mixed g-monotone mapping and prove coupled coincidence and coupled common fixed point theorems for such nonlinear contractive mappings in partially ordered complete metric spaces. Presented theorems are generalizations of the recent fixed point theorems due to Bhaskar and Lakshmikantham [T.G. Bhaskar, V. Lakshmikantham, Fixed point theorems in partially ordered metric spaces and applications, Nonlinear Anal. TMA 65 (2006) 1379–1393] and include several recent developments. 相似文献

In this paper, by considering two metrics, we obtain some coupled fixed point theorems in cone metric spaces by assuming that the cone has nonempty interior as well as employing a number of contractive-type conditions. Our results generalize and extend some recently announced results in the literature. 相似文献

In the paper “Coupled fixed point theorems for contractions in fuzzy metric spaces” by Sedghi et al. [S. Sedghi, I. Altun, N. Shobec, Coupled fixed point theorems for contractions in fuzzy metric spaces, Nonlinear Analysis 72 (2010) 1298-1304], a coupled common fixed point result was presented. However, our purpose is to show that this result and its proof are false. We give a counterexample and also explain how to correct this result. As a modification, we state and prove a coupled fixed point theorem under some hypotheses of fuzzy metric and t-norm. 相似文献

We prove the existence of fuzzy common fixed point of two mappings satisfying a generalized contractive condition in complete ordered spaces. Our results provide extension as well as substantial improvements of several well-known results in the existing literature and initiate the study of fuzzy fixed point theorems in ordered spaces. 相似文献

The purpose of this paper, using the idea of intuitionistic fuzzy set due to Atanassov [2], we define the notion of intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces (see, [1]) due to Kramosil and Michalek [17] and Jungck’s common fixed point theorem ([11]) is generalized to intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces. Further, we first formulate the definition of weakly commuting and R-weakly commuting mappings in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces and prove the intuitionistic fuzzy version of Pant’s theorem ([21]). 相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to prove some new common fixed point theorems in (GV)-fuzzy metric spaces. While proving our results, we utilize the idea of compatibility due to Jungck (Int J Math Math Sci
9:771–779, 1986) together with subsequentially continuity due to Bouhadjera and Godet-Thobie (arXiv: 0906.3159v1 [math.FA] 17 Jun 2009) respectively (also alternately reciprocal continuity due to Pant (Bull Calcutta Math Soc 90:281–286, 1998) together with subcompatibility due to Bouhadjera and Godet-Thobie (arXiv:0906.3159v1 [math.FA] 17 Jun 2009) as patterned in Imdad et al. (doi:) wherein conditions on completeness (or closedness) of the underlying space (or subspaces) together with conditions on continuity
in respect of any one of the involved maps are relaxed. Our results substantially generalize and improve a multitude of relevant
common fixed point theorems of the existing literature in metric as well as fuzzy metric spaces which include some relevant
results due to Imdad et al. (J Appl Math Inform 26:591–603, 2008), Mihet (doi:), Mishra (Tamkang J Math 39(4):309–316, 2008), Singh (Fuzzy Sets Syst 115:471–475, 2000) and several others. 相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the notion of common limit range property (CLR property) for two hybrid pairs of mappings in fuzzy metric spaces, and we prove common fixed point theorems using (CLR) property for these mappings with implicit relation. Our results extend some known results to multi-valued arena. Also, we prove common fixed point theorem in fuzzy metric spaces satisfying an integral type. 相似文献

Let X be a non-empty set and F:X×X→X be a given mapping. An element (x,y)∈X×X is said to be a coupled fixed point of the mapping F if F(x,y)=x and F(y,x)=y. In this paper, we consider the case when X is a complete metric space endowed with a partial order. We define generalized Meir-Keeler type functions and we prove some coupled fixed point theorems under a generalized Meir-Keeler contractive condition. Some applications of our obtained results are given. The presented theorems extend and complement the recent fixed point theorems due to Bhaskar and Lakshmikantham [T. Gnana Bhaskar, V. Lakshmikantham, Fixed point theorems in partially ordered metric spaces and applications, Nonlinear Anal. 65 (2006) 1379-1393]. 相似文献

In this paper the concept of a contraction for multi-valued mappings in a metric space is introduced and the existence theorems for fixed points of such contractions in a complete metric space are proved. Presented results generalize and improve the recent results of Y. Feng, S. Liu [Y. Feng, S. Liu, Fixed point theorems for multi-valued contractive mappings and multi-valued Caristi type mappings, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 317 (2006) 103-112], D. Klim, D. Wardowski [D. Klim, D. Wardowski, Fixed point theorems for set-valued contractions in complete metric spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 334 (2007) 132-139] and several others. The method used in the proofs of our results is new and is simpler than methods used in the corresponding papers. Two examples are given to show that our results are genuine generalization of the results of Feng and Liu and Klim and Wardowski. 相似文献

The fixed point theory of set-valued contractions which was initiated by Nadler [S.B. Nadler Jr., Multi-valued contraction mappings, Pacific J. Math. 30 (1969) 475-488] was developed in different directions by many authors, in particular, by [S. Reich, Fixed points of contractive functions, Boll. Unione Mat. Ital. 5 (1972) 26-42; N. Mizoguchi, W. Takahashi, Fixed point theorems for multivalued mappings on complete metric spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 141 (1989) 177-188; Y. Feng, S. Liu, Fixed point theorems for multi-valued contractive mappings and multi-valued Caristi type mappings, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 317 (2006) 103-112]. In the present paper, the concept of contraction for set-valued maps in metric spaces is introduced and the conditions guaranteeing the existence of a fixed point for such a contraction are established. One of our results essentially generalizes the Nadler and Feng-Liu theorems and is different from the Mizoguchi-Takahashi result. The second result is different from the Reich and Mizoguchi-Takahashi results. The method used in the proofs of our results is inspired by Mizoguchi-Takahashi and Feng-Liu's ideas. Comparisons and examples are given. 相似文献

The concept of a convex metric space was introduced by Takahashi [10]. He observed that it is possible to generalize fixed point theorems in Banach spaces. Subsequently, Machado [8], Itoh [5], Naimpally, Singh and Whitfield [9] and Beg and Azam [2], among others have studied fixed point theorems in convex metric spaces. This paper is a continuation of these investigations. 相似文献

In this paper we extend the coupled contraction mapping theorem proved in partially ordered metric spaces by Gnana Bhaskar
and Lakshmikantham (Nonlinear Anal. TMA 65:1379–1393, 2006) to a coupled coincidence point result for a pair of compatible mappings. A control function has been used in our theorem.
The mappings are assumed to satisfy a weak contractive inequality. Our theorem improves the results of Harjani et al. (Nonlinear
Anal. TMA 74:1749–1760, 2011). The result we have established is illustrated with an example which also shows that the improvement is actual. 相似文献
