A two-step thermochemical cycle with the ternary metal oxide system (Fe1 − xMnx)3O4/(Fe1 − xMnx)1 − yO is applied to convert solar energy to chemical energy. Experimental investigations on the water splitting reaction of (Fe1 − xMnx)1 − yO revealed temporary formation of a manganese rich rock salt phase and an iron rich spinel phase due to phase segregation processes.  相似文献

Pr substituted at constant Ca concentration for Y in (Y1−xyPrxCay)Ba2Cu3O7−δ superconductors have been prepared under identical conditions and the temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity of these samples are measured. The resistively determined values of Tc decrease linearly with increasing x (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.2) for constant y = 0.10 and 0.15 which provides convincing evidence that the suppression of superconductivity by Pr is mainly due to magnetic pair breaking. The suppression of superconductivity can also be correlated to the observed changes in oxygen content determined by iodometric analysis and to the average Cu-valences. However, it is found that the observed suppression of Tc cannot be compensated by appropriate hole doping with Ca.  相似文献

The nucleation mechanism to predict coercivity values in melt-spun exchange-coupled (Nd1−xPrx)yFe94−yB6 alloys for various Nd:Pr ratios x, and Fe:RE ratios y, was tested using the dependence of the anisotropy constant K1 on Pr content x for the minimum nucleation field HNmin in the modified Brown's equation. Very good agreement was found between experimental data and theoretical values, confirming the predominance of the nucleation of reverse domains over the wall pinning process in the coercivity mechanism of melt spun REFeB alloys.  相似文献

The educed Gd atoms in the X-structure (Th6Mn23-type) of Gd(Fe1−xMnx)2 were magnetically investigated by comparing with Gd6(Fe1−yMny)23 whose structure is Th6Mn23-type. The magnetic properties of Gd(Fe1−xMnx)2 (0.4≤x≤0.7) were observed to be quite similar to those of Gd6(Fe1−yMny)23 (0.4≤y≤0.7).  相似文献

Mixed oxides in the system S-Ce-Co-O were prepared by solid state reaction and by freeze-drying of precursor compounds followed by thermal treatment. Two types of perovskite oxides exist in the system: Solid solutions of the type Sr1 − yCeyCoO3 − x and mixed oxides of the type (1 − y)SrCeO3 − ySrCoO3 − x. Microstructures and phase compositions were determined by electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. SrCoO3 − x forms a solid solution of ceria on the A-site in the strontium cobaltite lattice up to 0.15 mol Ce. This solid solution corresponds to the high-temperature structure of pure SrCoO3 − x and is characterized by high oxygen exchange and electrical conductivity. The oxygen deficiency x was measured by solid electrolyte coulometry. The oxygen deficiency of solid solutions Sr1 − yCeyCoO3 − x increases with temperature and decreases with pO2 in the ambient atmosphere and with increasing Ce dopant concentration. The pO2-T-x diagram of the solid solution was determined. The T, pO2 and dopant concentration dependencies of electrical conductivity were measured by a four-point d.c. technique. By Ce doping strontium cobaltite becomes a stabilized high-conductive material (maximum conductivity: 500 S cm−1 at 400 °C, Ea = 0.025 eV, p-type). Above this temperature the T-coefficient of the conductivity changes from positive (semiconducting) to negative values.  相似文献

By making use of high-temperature series expansions (HTSE) of the correlation functions, we study the thermal and disorder variation of the short-range order (SRO) in the particular B-spinel ZnCr2xAl2−2xS4. We developed the HTSE for the q-dependent static structure factor S(q) to the order 6 in reciprocal temperature including both the nearest- and next-nearest-neighbour interactions J1 and J2, respectively. Respecting the experimental fact that the broad diffuse peak of the neutron is situated at the particular wave vector q0=[0 0 0.79] and is insensitive to the temperature for a given ratio of dilution x, we have estimated the thermal variation of J1 and J2 in the case of the pure compound.

The bond percolation threshold xp of the ZnCr2xAl2−2xS4 is determined by studying the disorder variation of the correlation length ξ. The xp is considered as the concentration at which ξ vanishes. The obtained values are xp=0.27 when only J1 is considered and 0.23 when both J1 and J2 are taken into account.  相似文献

The LaGa1−xyCoxMgyO3−δ solid solutions with rhombohedrally-distorted perovskite structure were ascertained to form in the concentration range of 0≤y≤0.10 at x=0.60 and 0≤y≤0.20 at x=0.35–0.40. Increasing cobalt content results in increasing electrical conductivity and thermal expansion of the perovskites. Thermal expansion coefficients of the LaGa1−xyCoxMgyO3−δ ceramics were calculated from the dilatometric data to vary in the range of 12.4–19.8×10−6 K−1 at 300–1100 K. Doping La(Ga,Co)O3−δ solid solutions with magnesium leads to increasing oxygen nonstoichiometry, electronic and oxygen ionic conductivity. Oxygen permeation fluxes through LaGa1−xyCoxMgyO3−δ membranes were found to be limited by the bulk ionic conduction and to increase with magnesium concentration, being essentially independent of cobalt content.  相似文献

Zn1−xMnxS epilayers were grown on GaAs (1 0 0) substrates by hot-wall epitaxy. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns revealed that all the epilayers have a zincblende structure. The optical properties were investigated using spectroscopic ellipsometry at 300 K from 3.0 to 8.5 eV. The obtained data were analyzed for determining the critical points of pseudodielectric function spectra, (E) = 1(E) + i2(E), such as E0, E0 + Δ0, and E1, and three E2 (Σ, Δ, Γ) structures at a lower Mn composition range. These critical points were determined by analytical line-shapes fitted to numerically calculated derivatives of their pseudodielectric functions. The observation of new peaks, as well as the shifting and broadening of the critical points of Zn1−xMnxS epilayers, were investigated as a function of Mn composition by ellipsometric measurements for the first time. The characteristics of the peaks changed with increasing Mn composition. In particular, four new peaks were observed between 4.0 and 8.0 eV for Zn1−xMnxS epilayers, and their characteristics were investigated in this study.  相似文献

Nd2CuO4±δ is the non-superconducting prototype of the Re2−xMxCuO4ty family (Re=Pr, Nd, Sm and M=Ceor Th) of n-type oxide superconductors. Four-probe DC conductivity, EMF in P(O2) gradient, and thermopower measurements have been used to characterise its electric transport and defect structure between 300 and 900°C and between 5×10−4 and 1 atm oxygen partial pressure.

The results show that Nd2CuO4±δ can be oxygen under-stoichiometric (with n-type conductivity), near-stoichiometric, and over-stoichiometric (with p-type conductivity) in different T, P(O2) ranges.  相似文献

Two groups of samples were prepared by the wet method with nominal composition Bix1Pbx2Sbx3Sr2Ca3Cu4Oz. In the first group x1 + x2 + x3 = 2. Here x1 ranges from 1.2 to 1.6 with x2 varying from 0.72 to 0.12. The second group is characterized by x1 + x2 = 2. Here x1 was chosen to be 1.4 and 1.6 while x3 ranges from 0.08 to 0.16. The results show: (i) high Sb content reduces the transition temperature; (ii) for small Sb contents the transition temperature is relatively constant but the transition becomes sharper, (iii) the best sample (with x1 = 1.4, x2 = 0.48 and x3 = 0.12) exhibits a very sharp transition with a peak in the imaginary component of the ac susceptibility at 108.4 K; abd (iv) the transition of lightly Sb-doped material is strongly influenced by small external magnetic fields.  相似文献

The quenching of spin fluctuations by magnetic fields has been observed in heat capacity and electrical resistivity measurements at low temperatures for a series of highly exchange enhanced magnetic materials. These include: the weak itinerant electron ferromagnets Sc3In, Zr1−xHfxZn2 (0 x 0.2) and Ni3Al; the strong Pauli paramagnets RCo2 (R = Sc, Y and Lu), TiBe2 and Pd1−xNix (0 x 0.01); and the heavy fermion systems CeSn3, CeSix (x ≈ 1.85) an d UAl2. The reported quenching of spin fluctuations in scandium and palladium by magnetic fields is reviewed, and it appears that the initial observations and conclusions are incorrect, and that fields greater than 10 and 40 T, respectively, will be necessary to quench spin fluctuations in these metals. The behaviors of these spin fluctuators have been grouped into six classes.  相似文献

The structural,electronic,mechanical properties,and frequency-dependent refractive indexes of GaSe_(1-x)S_x(x=0,0.25,and 1) are studied by using the first-principles pseudopotential method within density functional theory.The calculated results demonstrate the relationships between intralayer structure and elastic modulus in GaSe_(1-x)S_x(x=0,0.25,and 1).Doping of ε-GaSe with S strengthens the Ga-X bonds and increases its elastic moduli of C_(11) and C_(66).Born effective charge analysis provides an explanation for the modification of cleavage properties about the doping of e-GaSe with S.The calculated results of band gaps suggest that the distance between intralayer atom and substitution of S_(Se),rather than interlayer force,is a key factor influencing the electronic exciton energy of the layer semiconductor.The calculated refractive indexes indicate that the doping of ε-GaSe with S reduces its refractive index and increases its birefringence.  相似文献

In this note we study the global behavior of the piecewise linear area-preserving transformation x1 = 1 − y0 + |x0|, y1 = x0, of the plane. We show that there are infinitely many invariant polygons surrounding an elliptic fixed point. The regions between these invariant polygons serve as models for the “zones of instability” in the corresponding smooth case. For our model we show that some of these annular zones contain only finitely many elliptic islands. The map is hyperbolic on the complement of these islands and hence exhibits stochastic behavior in this region. Unstable periodic points are dense in this region.  相似文献

The maximum solid solubility of gallium in the perovskite-type La1−xSrxFe1−yGayO3−δ (x=0.40–0.80; y=0–0.60) was found to vary in the approximate range y=0.25–0.45, decreasing when x increases. Crystal lattice of the perovskite phases, formed in atmospheric air, was studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and neutron diffraction and identified as cubic. Doping with Ga results in increasing unit cell volume, while the thermal expansion and total conductivity of (La,Sr)(Fe,Ga)O3−δ in air decrease with gallium additions. The average thermal expansion coefficients (TECs) are in the range (11.7–16.0)×10−6 K−1 at 300–800 K and (19.3–26.7)×10−6 K−1 at 800–1100 K. At oxygen partial pressures close to atmospheric air, the oxygen permeation fluxes through La1−xSrxFe1−yGayO3−δ (x=0.7–0.8; y=0.2–0.4) membranes are determined by the bulk ambipolar conductivity; the limiting effect of the oxygen surface exchange was found negligible. Decreasing strontium and gallium concentrations leads to a greater role of the exchange processes. As for many other perovskite systems, the oxygen ionic conductivity of La1−xSrxFe1−yGayO3−δ increases with strontium content up to x=0.70 and decreases on further doping, probably due to association of oxygen vacancies. Incorporation of moderate amounts of gallium into the B sublattice results in increasing structural disorder, higher ionic conductivity at temperatures below 1170 K, and lower activation energy for the ionic transport.  相似文献

Fe/Fe1−xSix/Fe (x=0.4–1.0) wedge-type epitaxial trilayers with improved homogeneity are grown by co-evaporation from two electron-beam sources. The coupling strengths of the bilinear (J1) and biquadratic (J2) coupling terms are derived from Brillouin light scattering (BLS) spectra and longitudinal MOKE hysteresis loops. The total coupling strength J=J1+J2 increases dramatically with increasing x and reaches values in excess of 6 mJ/m2.  相似文献

Novel lithium ion conducting oxides with perovskite structure have been synthesized and studied. It has been found that the La2/3−xLi3xTiO3 and La2/3−xLi3xNb2O6 compounds have a perovskite structure at 1/24 < x < 1/6 and 0 < x < 3/10, respectively. The results of investigating the electrical properties of both groups of perovskites indicate a high lithium ion conductivity.  相似文献

A Bi2V1 − xyUxBiyO5.5 + 0.5xy solid solution derived from Bi4V2O11 has been prepared and characterized with x up to 0.125 for y = 0. Partial substitution of U6+ for V5+ in Bi4V2O11 leads to the stabilization at room temperature of the high-oxide ion conducting γ-phase, in contrast with other M6+ dopants which stabilize the β-phase. The lower conductivity in U substituted system compared with BICUVOX.10 is attributed to its higher activation energy. Conductivity values and activation energies of the U substituted phases compare well with Bi2UO6.  相似文献

Lithium insertion to distorted ReO3-type metastable solid solution NbxW1−xO3−x/2 (0≤x<0.25) has been studied by chemical and electrochemical methods. In the course of lithium insertion into tetragonal compounds, transition to a cubic phase was found to occur in the region where values of y (in LiyNbxW1−xO3−x/2) fall between 0.2 and 0.3, and the phase transition was found to depend on the conditions of the reaction. Changes in OCV and lattice parameters in tetragonal region (y<0.2) were discussed from the viewpoint of the ordering of lithium ions. Also, the component diffusion coefficient of lithium in tetragonal compounds Li0.1NbxW1−xO3−x/2 (0≤x≤0.23) was found to increase with niobium content when x≤0.10, and to saturate at 4×10−9 cm2/s.  相似文献

A detailed investigation of the defect structure of the Co doped BIMEVOX solid electrolyte, Bi2V1 − xCoxO5.5 − 3x/2 (x = 0.1 and x = 0.2), quenched from high temperature, has been carried out using X-ray and neutron powder diffraction data measured at room temperature. The structure is built up from alternating layers of [Bi2O2]n2n+ and [V1 − xCoxO3.5 − 3x/2]n2n with disorder limited to the vanadate layer. The ideal V/Co co-ordination is octahedral with corner sharing of equatorial oxygens. The refinements show that the true structure is distorted, with disorder in both apical and equatorial oxygens and oxygen vacancies concentrated in the equatorial positions. Detailed analysis of the oxygen site occupancies reveals two main types of V/Co co-ordination viz. distorted octahedral and distorted tetrahedral. The majority of the sites in both compositions are tetrahedral.  相似文献

The X-ray diffraction patterns for Bi2Sr2Ca1−xYxCu2O8+y sintered in air or Ar indicated that the reduction in the number of excess oxygen ions induced a structural change from orthorhombic to pseudotetragonal. When the oxygen contents decreased with the reducing treatment, the period of modulation in Bi2Sr2Ca1−xYxCu2O8+y increased. This result supported the model of excess oxygen ions in the Bi---O sheet. However, it was difficult to understand the change of modulation period with increasing Y contents using the model of excess oxygen ions in the Bi---O layers. Also, it is included that the Y substitution for Ca and La substitution for Sr in the Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+y system result in parallel effects for the modulation structure.  相似文献
