Identities of Semigroups of Triangular Matrices over Finite Fields

It is proved that the semigroup of all triangular n × n matrices over a finite field K is inherently nonfinitely based if and only if n > 3 and |K|> 2.

Inverse-preserving Linear Maps Between Spaces of Matrices over Fields

Suppose F is a field different from F2, the field with two elements. Let Mn（F） and Sn（F） be the space of n × n full matrices and the space of n ×n symmetric matrices over F, respectively. For any G1, G2 ∈ {Sn（F）, Mn（F）}, we say that a linear map f from G1 to G2 is inverse-preserving if f（X）^-1 = f（X^-1） for every invertible X ∈ G1. Let L （G1, G2） denote the set of all inverse-preserving linear maps from G1 to G2. In this paper the sets .L（Sn（F）,Mn（F））, L（Sn（F）,Sn（F））, L （Mn（F）,Mn（F）） and L（Mn （F）, Sn （F）） are characterized.     

交换矩阵半群的可约性

首先分别给出单生矩阵半群或者摹群不可约、不可分解以及完全可约的充分必要条件,其次讨论一般域上矩阵半群的可约性的一些条件,最后特别地讨论实数域上矩阵半群的可约性,完全确定了实数域上对称和反对称矩阵组成的不可约交换矩阵半群.     

Abundant Semigroups with a Multiplicative Adequate Transversal

The aim of this paper is to investigate abundant semigroups with a multiplicative adequate transversal. Some properties and characterizations for such semigroups are obtained. In particular, we establish the structure of this class of abundant semigroups in terms of left normal bands, right normal bands and adequate semigroups with some simple compatibility conditions. In this paper,the concept of right adequate transversals of rpp semigroups is introduced.We establish the structure of rpp semigroups with multiplicative right adequate transversals in terms of right normal bands and right adequate semigroups.In particular, some special cases are considered.

Affine Near-Semirings Over Brandt Semigroups

In order to study the structure of A ⁺(B _n )—the affine near-semiring over a Brandt semigroup—this work completely characterizes the Green's classes of its semigroup reducts. In this connection, this work classifies the elements of A ⁺(B _n ) and reports the size of A ⁺(B _n ). Further, idempotents and regular elements of the semigroup reducts of A ⁺(B _n ) have also been characterized and studied some relevant semigroups in A ⁺(B _n ).     

Invertibility of Matrices Over Subrings

Given rings R ? S, consider the division closure 𝒟(R, S) and the rational closure ?(R, S) of R in S. If S is commutative, then 𝒟(R, S) = ?(R, S) = RT ^?1, where T = {t ∈ R | t ^?1 ∈ S}. We show that this is also true if we assume only that R is commutative.     

c0空间上生灭矩阵生成半群的条件
