Generalized Affine Functions and Generalized Differentials

We study some classes of generalized affine functions, using a generalized differential. We study some properties and characterizations of these classes and we devise some characterizations of solution sets of optimization problems involving such functions or functions of related classes.

Submultiplicative and subadditive functions and integral inequalities of Bellman-Bihari type

We define two classes of functions which contain the classes of nondecreasing submultiplicative and subadditive functions. Then we discuss the properties of these classes and use them to give generalizations of some well-known integral inequalities like the Bellman-Bihari inequality.     

Equivalence classes of Niho bent functions

Equivalence classes of Niho bent functions are in one-to-one correspondence with equivalence classes of ovals in a projective plane. Since a hyperoval can produce several ovals, each hyperoval is associated with several inequivalent Niho bent functions. For all known types of hyperovals we described the equivalence classes of the corresponding Niho bent functions. For some types of hyperovals the number of equivalence classes of the associated Niho bent functions are at most 4. In general, the number of equivalence classes of associated Niho bent functions increases exponentially as the dimension of the underlying vector space grows. In small dimensions the equivalence classes were considered in detail.

In this paper, we obtain some Gel'fand widths of anisotropic Sobolev periodic classes of smooth functions, and average Gel'fand widths of anisotropic Sobolev classes of smooth functions.     

On k-uniformly close-to-convex functions of complex order

In this paper, we define and study some subclasses of analytic functions by using fractional derivative operator. Some interesting properties, coefficients problems and inclusion results of these classes are investigated. It is also shown that these classes are closed under convolution with convex functions and some applications are given.     

Weak subdifferential/superdifferential,weak exhausters and optimality conditions

In this work, the notion of weak superdifferential is presented. Some calculation rules are given to evaluate weak subdifferential and weak superdifferential of some classes of functions represented by support functions. Moreover, some methods are obtained to calculate weak subdifferential of convex functions. In addition, the concept of weak lower and weak upper exhausters of positively homogeneous functions are introduced by using weak subdifferential and weak superdifferential, respectively. In terms of weak exhausters, some optimality conditions are given to find local or global minimizers/maximizers of some classes of functions.     

Certain Classes of Analytic Functions Related to the Crescent-Shaped Regions

In this paper, we study certain classes of analytic functions which satisfy a subordination condition and are associated with the crescent-shaped regions. We first give certain integral representations for the functions belonging to these classes and also present a relevant example. Making use of some known lemmas, we derive sufficient conditions for the functions to be in these classes. Some results on coefficient estimates are also obtained.

Some applications of Miller-Mocanu lemma on certain classes of meromorphic functions

In this paper, making use of a linear operator we introduce and study certain new classes of meromorphic functions. We derive some inclusion results. These classes contain many known classes as a special case.     

Inpainting via High-dimensional Universal Shearlet Systems

In the present paper, new classes of wavelet functions are developed in the framework of Clifford analysis. Firstly, some classes of orthogonal polynomials are provided based on two-parameters weight functions generalizing the well known Jacobi and Gegenbauer classes when relaxing the parameters. The discovered polynomial sets are next applied to introduce new wavelet functions. Reconstruction formula as well as Fourier-Plancherel rule have been proved.     

Some characterizations of perturbational dual problems

Continuing our papers [4] - [7], where we have given an axiomatic approach to unperturbational dual problems, we study here perturbational dual problems. we give some characterizations of various classes of perturbations and the associated marginal functions and of various classes of perturbational dual objective functions and the associated Lagrangians, regarded as functions of their natural variables and of the primal parameters     

Compactness of embeddings of sobolev type on metric measure spaces

We establish conditions for the compactness of embeddings for some classes of functions on metric space with measure satisfying the duplication condition. These classes are defined in terms of the L ^p -summability of maximal functions measuring local smoothness.     

Some classes of analytic and multivalent functions involving a linear operator

By using a linear operator, which is defined here by means of the Hadamard product (or convolution), the authors introduce some new classes of analytic and multivalent functions in the open unit disk and investigate their inclusion relationships and convolution properties. Integral transforms of functions in these classes are also discussed.     

Approximation of functions from L p (ω) β by matrix means of their Fourier series

We formulate some special conditions for the integrable functions and moduli of continuity. We give the results on rate of approximation of such functions by matrix means of their Fourier series, where the entries of the rows of the matrix generate the sequences belonging to the classes MRBVS and MHBVS, We also present some results on norm approximation for functions from the generalized integral Lipschitz classes.     

Geometric and design-theoretic aspects of semibent functions II

This article is the successor of Dempwolff and Neumann (Des. Codes Cryptogr. 57:373–381, 2010). We now consider semibent functions with a linear structure. Semibent functions of partial spread type with a linear structure seem to be rare. We distinguish four classes of such semibent functions. For three classes we exhibit some examples.

Gap functions for a system of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems with set-valued mappings

In this paper, some gap functions for three classes of a system of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems with set-valued mappings (for short, SGVQEP) are investigated by virtue of the nonlinear scalarization function of Chen, Yang and Yu. Three examples are then provided to demonstrate these gap functions. Also, some gap functions for three classes of generalized finite dimensional vector equilibrium problems (GFVEP) are derived without using the nonlinear scalarization function method. Furthermore, a set-valued function is obtained as a gap function for one of (GFVEP) under certain assumptions.      

Sandwich-type theorems for multivalent functions associated with the Srivastava-Attiya operator

In the present paper, we investigate some subordination- and superordination-preserving properties for certain classes of analytic and multivalent functions in the open unit disk, which are associated with such multiplier transformations as the Srivastava-Attiya operator. Various sandwich-type theorems for functions belonging to these classes are also obtained.
