Stein's well-known logarithmic asymptotics of the Lebesgue constants of the Bochner-Riesz means of critical order is extended to Lebesgue constants of more general linear means of multiple Fourier series. These means are generated by certain class of functions supported in convex domains with boundaries of non-vanishing Gaussian curvature.

This paper presents a weighted L 2 estimate with power weights for the maximal operator of commutators generated by compactly supported multipliers and Lipschitz functions. As an application, we study the almost convergence of the commutators, which is generated by the Bochner-Riesz means under the critical index and Lipschitz functions, for functions in L p (p ⩾ 2).  相似文献

We prove weighted inequalities for the Bochner-Riesz means for Fourier-Bessel series with more general weights w(x) than previously considered power weights. These estimates are given by using the local Ap theory and Hardy's inequalities with weights. Moreover, we also obtain weighted weak type (1,1) inequalities. The case when w(x)=xa is sketched and follows as a corollary of the main result.  相似文献

We consider the restriction to radial functions of a class of radial Fourier multiplier operators containing the Bochner-Riesz multiplier operator. The convolution kernel K(x) of an operator in this class decays too slowly at infinity to be integrable, but has enough oscillation to achieve Lp -boundedness for p inside a suitable interval (a, b). We prove boundedness results for the maximal operator Kf(x) = supr>0 rn∣K(r) * f(x)∣ associated with such a kernel. The maximal operator is shown to be weak type bounded at the lower critical index a, restricted weak type bounded at the upper critical index b, and strong type bounded between. This together with our assumptions on K(x) leads to the pointwise convergence result limγ→ γn K(γ·) * f(x) = cf(x) a. e. for radial f ? LP(?n), ap > b.  相似文献

We establish sharp weak-type estimates for the maximal operators Tλ* associated with cylindric Riesz means for functions on Hp(ℝ3) when 4/5 <p<1 and λ=3/p−5/2, and when p=4/5 and λ>3/p−5/2. Strict separation by a cone is used here to redefine proper efficiency. Two versions of the properness, which unify and generalize known definitions, are presented. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the set of properly efficient decisions and characterization of this set in terms of the supports of the decision set are given.The research was done while the author was a visiting professor at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  相似文献

We use the atomic decomposition of and their molecular characters to show that the Bochner-Riesz means are bounded on for 0<p?1 and δ>max{n/p−(n+1)/2,[n/p]rw−1(rw−1)−(n+1)/2}, where rw is the critical index of w for the reverse Hölder condition.
