The radio-photoluminescent (RPL) characteristics of LiF:Mg,Ti (MTS) and LiF:Mg,Cu,P (MCP) thermoluminescent detectors, routinely used in radiation protection dosimetry, were investigated after irradiation with ultra-high electron doses ranging up to 1 MGy. The photoluminescence of both types of LiF detectors was stimulated by a blue light (460 nm) and measured within a spectral window around 530 nm. The RPL dose response was found to be linear up to 50 kGy and sublinear in the range of 50 kGy to 1 MGy for MCP detectors and linear up to 3 kGy and next sublinear in the range from 5 kGy to 1 MGy for MTS detectors. For both type of LiF detectors RPL signal is saturated for doses higher than 100 kGy. The observed differences between MCP and MTS may suggest, that the RPL effect in LiF is not entirely governed by intrinsic defects (F2 and F3+ centers), but dopants may also have a significant influence. Due to the non-destructive character of the RPL measurement, it is suggested to apply combined RPL/TL readouts, what should improve accuracy of high-dose dosimetry.  相似文献

In the present study soil samples were collected from the region around a National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) at Dadri (U.P.), India. Radon activity and radon exhalation rates were measured by using “sealed can technique” using LR 115-type II nuclear track detectors. Radon activities are found to vary from 177.5 ± 23.1 to 583.4 ± 4.9 Bq m−3 with an average value of 330.5 ± 30.4 Bq m−3. Surface exhalation rates in these samples vary from 63.9 ± 8.3 to 210.2 ± 15.1 mBq m−2 h−1 with an average value of 119.1 ± 11.1 mBq m−2 h−1, whereas mass exhalation rates vary from 2.5 ± 0.3 to 8.1 ± 0.6 mBq kg−1 h−1 with an average of 4.6 ± 0.4 mBq kg−1 h−1.Activity concentrations of naturally occurring radionuclides (226Ra, 232Th and 40K) were also measured in these soil samples using high resolution γ–ray spectroscopic system. Activity concentrations of 226Ra, 232Th, and 40K vary from 32.2 ± 6.0 to120.9 ± 4.5 Bq kg−1, 19.3 ± 0.9 to 44.6 ± 1.5 Bq kg−1 and 195.4 ± 2.8 to 505.4 ± 6.3 Bq kg−1 with overall mean values of 70.0 ± 8.9 Bq kg−1, 34.8 ± 1.2 Bq kg−1 and 436.1 ± 5.6 Bq kg−1 respectively. From the activity concentrations of 226Ra, 232Th and 40K, radium equivalent activity (Raeq) and the external hazard index (Hex) were calculated and found to vary from 73.4 to 214.7 Bq kg−1 and from 0.2 to 0.6 respectively.  相似文献

The dependence of LiF:Mg,Cu,P samples with various concentrations of Mg on sintering temperatures was investigated to find a new dosimeter. The influence of high sintering temperatures on LiF:Mg,Cu,P chips depends strongly on Mg concentrations. The height of the main peak versus the sintering temperatures exhibits a maximum, the position of which varies between 690 °C and 750 °C, depending on the Mg concentration in the range studied. The high temperature peaks of LiF:Mg,Cu,P for various Mg concentrations reduce basically when the sintering temperature is increased. LiF:Mg,Cu,P is much less sensitive than LiF:Mg,Cu,Si to sintering temperature. LiF:Mg,Cu,P with 0.6 mol% of Mg can be re-used at annealing temperature of 260 °C, regardless of the sintering temperature. It was found that the optimum concentration is Mg: 0.6 mol%, the optimum sintering temperature is 750 °C, considering that LiF:Mg,Cu,P with a low residual signal and good sensitivity can be re-used at annealing temperature of 260 °C and produced in a large scale. The new optimum LiF:Mg,Cu,P formation has 52 times higher than that of the TLD-100, and an extremely low residual signal of 0.07% without an initialization readout procedure.  相似文献

Inelastic neutron scattering has been performed on powder sample of an iron-based superconductor BaFe2(As0.65P0.35)2 with superconducting transition temperature (Tc) = 30 K, whose superconducting (SC) order parameter is expected to have line node. In the normal state, constant-E scan of dynamical structure factor, S(Q, E), exhibits a peak structure centered at momentum transfer Q  1.20 Å?1, corresponding to antiferromagnetic wave vector. Below Tc, the redistribution of the magnetic spectral weight takes place, resulting in the formation of a peak at E  12 meV and a gap below 6 meV. The enhanced magnetic peak structure is ascribed to the spin resonance mode, evidencing sign change in the SC order parameter similar to other iron-based high-Tc superconductors. It suggests that fully-gapped s± symmetry dominates in this superconductor, which gives rise to high-Tc (=30 K) despite the nodal symmetry.  相似文献

LiF crystal doped with magnesium (Mg), copper (Cu) and phosphorous (P) was grown in the form of multicrystalline sheet using Edge-defined film-fed growth (EFG) technique for dosimetry application. These crystals were grown in argon gas atmosphere using graphite crucible and stainless steel die. Dosimetry peak was observed at 210 °C for as-grown crystal. As reported earlier LiF:Mg, Cu, P is a highly sensitive material but losses its sensitivity if annealed at temperature above 240 °C. In this paper, the effect of annealing temperature on thermoluminescence glow-curve structure, maximum peak temperature, peak height and integrated area of the glow peak of EFG grown samples was investigated in detail. Annealing temperature range from 220 °C to 500 °C was considered for the study. Experimental results of the obtained glow curve show that with increase in annealing temperature, glow peak shift towards higher temperature region with substantial increase in TL intensity. Annealing at 500 °C for 10 min gave maximum TL intensity with main dosimetry peak positioned at 233 °C. Change in the defect structure with different pre-annealing temperature was analysed using trapping parameters.  相似文献

Well known, widely applied high sensitive thermoluminescence (TL) detector LiF:Mg,Cu,P (MCP-N) was investigated. This paper analyses changes of the TL emission spectrum of MCP-N after irradiation with ultra high doses (up to 500 kGy). Spectral dependence of TL on dose is very complex especially in the region of very high doses (>1 kGy). As a general trend we found that the number of peaks increases with dose in the long-wavelength region indicating new types of recombination centres (RCs). Wavelength peak positions for increasing doses are quite stable. Only some of them show slight red-shift.  相似文献

High-temperature emission spectra of LiF:Mg,Cu,P (MCP-N) TL detectors, irradiated above the nominal saturation level, up to the hundreds of kGy, have been measured. Emission spectra integrated over the whole temperature range, as well as the spectra recorded at the temperatures corresponding to the TL peaks maxima, were analyzed. With increasing dose of γ-radiation no significant changes were observed in the short wavelength emission range (220–450 nm) of the measured spectra. For doses of 4 kGy and higher the long wavelength emission (450–800 nm) started to be visible. All recorded spectra have been expressed in a form of the sum of several Gaussian-shape bands in the energy domain, which parameters remain in a general agreement with the measurements of Mandowska et al. (2010). Spectra of the low-temperature, main, high-temperature and “B” TL peaks were investigated. In the ranges of the low-temperature and the main dosimetric peaks, that is 100–125 and 210–230 °C, respectively, the short wavelength emission disappeared with increasing dose and for the highest doses the long wavelength emission became dominant. Both the high-temperature (290–320 °C) and the “B” (370–425 °C) peaks emission spectra exhibited somewhat different behavior with increasing dose. Initially, an even growth of the whole spectrum was observed and for doses higher than 16 kGy the intensity of the spectrum decreased, but the short wavelength emission band fell significantly faster, in case of the high-temperature TL peaks. In case of the “B” peak emission spectra the long wavelength emission did not play any role in the analyzed dose range. The spectra measured at the TL peaks maxima were also fitted with several Gaussian-shape bands. Dose-intensity dependences for all Gaussian-shape bands fitted to the measured spectra are also included in this paper.  相似文献

The influence of various annealing treatments with heating temperatures (TA) from 240 to 700 °C, with re-annealing at 240 °C, and with a combined re-annealing procedure of 20 min at 270 °C followed by 10 min at 240 °C on LiF:Mg,Cu,P (GR-200A) was investigated. As the TA increased, the intensity decreased rapidly to almost no signal at 340–380 °C then increased clearly and achieved a maximum at 540 °C. The position of the maximum intensity of the glow curve shifted basically in the direction of higher temperatures with an increase at TA and achieved a maximum of 279 °C when annealed at 460 °C. The re-annealing influenced both the intensity and the glow curve structure at certain degree. The effect of re-annealing on the glow curve depended markedly on the TA. With re-annealing at 240 °C, the intensity decreased as TA increased up to 360 °C then increased and achieved a maximum at 540 °C. The intensity could be restored fully when annealed at above 500 °C, however, the glow curve couldn't be restored fully. With a combined annealing, the shape of glow curve of a sample annealed at above 540 °C or below 320 °C was similar to that of the standard glow curve of LiF:Mg,Cu,P and the intensity and glow curve could be restored completely when annealed in the range 620–660 °C. It seems that the main roles of the re-annealing at 240 °C are to restore partially the intensity of peak 4 and peak shape for LiF:Mg,Cu,P when annealed at above 260 °C, and restore fully the total TL intensity of LiF:Mg,Cu,P when annealed at above 500 °C and the main roles of the combined re-annealing are to reduce the intensity of peak 5 and the total TL intensity, increase the intensity of peak 4 and restore the glow curve shape.  相似文献

Within a systematic study of a novel system enabling 2D readout of TL foils, the X-ray energy and dose response was investigated in TL foils containing LiF:Mg,Cu,P (MCP-N) or CaSO4:Dy as activators. Foils were exposed to broad X-ray beams of mean energies ranging between 45 keV and 208 keV (ISO 4037 standard), with reference to 662 keV 137Cs gamma rays. The MCP-N foils, of about 380 nm emission wavelength, show a flat X-ray energy response, but low sensitivity. Due to poor TL light detection efficiency of the CCD (charge-coupled device) camera over this range of wavelengths, only doses exceeding 500 mGy can be reliably measured. In the case of CaSO4:Dy foils, their TL light emitted around 450 nm wavelengths is registered by the CCD camera with no loss of efficiency, enabling X-ray doses as low as 100 mGy to be evaluated. Unlike that of MCP-N, the dose response of CaSO4:Dy foils is highly supralinear. Nevertheless, within experimental conditions applied in this study, the 2D-TL technique may be applied to determine Entrance Surface Dose or Maximum Skin Dose in radiology. The more sensitive CaSO4:Dy foils could be used only in a well-specified radiation field (e.g., in mammography) or in qualitative dose mapping.  相似文献

Highly sensitive LiF:Mg,Cu,P (MCP) detectors enable measurements of radiation doses from tens of nanograys up to a few kilograys, where the saturation of the signal of the main dosimetric peak occurs. Thanks to the recently observed high-dose high-temperature emission of MCP detectors heated to temperatures up to 600 °C after exposures to radiation doses ranging from 1 kGy to 1 MGy, a new method of thermoluminescent measurement of radiation doses has been recently developed at the Institute of Nuclear Physics (IFJ). This method can measure doses ranging from micrograys up to a megagray. So far, high dose measurements were performed on fresh MCP samples and each detector was used only once, because as a result of these measurements, the detectors lose their sensitivity to a large extent. In this study, a specific thermal treatment intended to fully restore the loss of MCPs TL sensitivity was sought. We have investigated several annealing procedures, applying different temperatures (from 400 °C up to 700 °C) for different periods of time (10–30 min) in argon atmosphere. In this way we were able to recover MCP sensitivity fully, allowing for reuse of the samples after high-dose irradiation and high-temperature measurement.  相似文献

The behaviour of LiF:Mg,Cu,P and LiF:Mg,Ti detectors at ultra-high doses up to 1 MGy, has been investigated. The presence of the ultra-high-temperature peak (450 °C) of reproducible properties was observed in various batches of LiF:Mg,Cu,P, confirming earlier findings. The results indicate that this peak is not an effect of random impurities nor intrinsic effects of LiF, but it is rather connected with the doping.A parameter called ultra-high temperature ratio (UHTR) was defined in order to quantify the observed changes of LiF:Mg,Cu,P glow-curve shape at very high doses and very high temperatures. The use of this parameter allows to determine an absorbed dose in the range from 1 kGy to 1 MGy. This new method of high-dose dosimetry makes LiF:Mg,Cu,P a unique dosimeter, which is capable to cover at least 12 orders of magnitude of dose range: from a microgray to a megagray.  相似文献

This paper presents results obtained for a new LiF:Mg,Cu,P (HMCP) preparation with modified Mg and Cu concentrations. The shape of the HMCP glow curve shows minimal differences for annealing in the range from 523 to 543 K for 10 min. The thermoluminescence (TL) readout value remained stable when annealed in the range from 513 to 543 K for 10 min. The new formula allows heating of the material to higher temperatures than that originally employed for the well-known GR-200A dosemeter, practically without losses in sensitivity. The TL sensitivity is approximately half of that for the GR-200A, and still 29-fold greater than that for the TLD-100 dosemeter, and the residual signal is approximately five-fold lower than for the GR-200A. These results indicate that the new TL material shows enhanced thermal stability and a lower residual TL signal at a small TL sensitivity cost. The heat treatment temperatures are related to concentrations of Mg and Cu in LiF:Mg,Cu,P.  相似文献

High pressure conductivity measurements have been carried out on P(EO)20LiBETI from 295 K to 368 K. The decrease of electrical conductivity with pressure is larger in the partially crystalline phase (low temperature and low pressure or high temperature and high pressure) than in the fully amorphous phase (high temperature and low pressure). It is found that if the phase transition is approached from the crystalline phase (decreasing pressure), the pressure of the phase transition varies from 0 to 0.23 GPa as the temperature increases from 336 K to 358 K. The shift of the phase transition temperature with pressure is approximately the same as the shift of the glass transition temperature with pressure for pure PEO. This can be understood in terms of the defect diffusion model. If the material is above 336 K and is in the fully amorphous phase, after pressure is increased above the critical pressure, the material remains in the amorphous phase for extended periods of time before transforming to the partially crystalline phase. This is reminiscent of a super-pressed state but may be an indication of slow crystallization kinetics.  相似文献

Raman spectra of phosphorous doped ZnSe are recorded from 9 to 300 K. In addition to TO mode at 208 cm−1 and LO mode at 253 cm−1, a new mode around 240 cm−1 is observed between 55 and 270 K. The spectra at lower and higher temperatures do not show the new mode. This new mode confirms that there is a reduction of (Se site) symmetry from Td to C3v when P substitutes for Se. This is due to Jahn Teller distortion.  相似文献

The mechanical and electronic properties of P3m1-BCN have been studied by using first principles calculations. The anisotropy studies of Young's modulus, shear modulus and Poisson's ratio show that P3m1-BCN exhibits a large anisotropy. Electronic structure study shows that P3m1-BCN is an indirect semiconductor with band gap of 4.10 eV. Unusually, the band gap of P3m1-BCN increase with increasing pressure.  相似文献

PurposesTo investigate the relationship between apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) value and p53 and ki-67 expression in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) patients.Materials and methodsClinical, pathologic and MRI findings of 55 ESCC patients were retrospectively analyzed. Immunohistochemical assay was used to determine the expression level of p53 and ki-67 in esophageal carcinoma tissues. The correlations between the ADC value (including ADCmax, ADCmean and ADCmin) and p53 and ki-67 expression level were explored.ResultsSignificant differences of the ADCmean values were found between positive and negative expression of p53 and between high and low expression of ki-67 in 55 patients of ESCC (P = 0.008, P = 0.036). Receiver operation characteristic (ROC) curve analysis showed that the cutoff value of ADCmean value with positive expression of p53 was 1.475 × 10−3 mm2/s, the area under the curve (AUC) was 0.775, and the sensitivity and specificity were 80.0%, 70.0%, respectively. While the cutoff value for the ADCmean value with high expression of ki-67 was 1.590 × 10−3 mm2/s, the AUC was 0.713, and the sensitivity and specificity were 66.7%, 76.5%, respectively. The ADCmean values were significantly negatively correlated with the expression level of p53 and ki-67 (r = −0.403, P = 0.008; r = −0.329, P = 0.036).ConclusionThe ADCmean values of ESCC were related with the expression level of p53 and ki-67 in tumor tissue, which may be served as a non-invasive biological indicator to predict the proliferation of ESCC cells and judge the prognosis of patients.  相似文献

The angular information content of residual dipolar couplings between nuclei of fixed distance makes the accurate and sign-sensitive measurement of (1JCH + DCH) and (2JHH + DHH) couplings highly desirable. Experiments published so far are typically highly specialized for the effective measurement of a subset of couplings. The P.E.HSQC presented here, is an E.COSY based experiment which allows the simultaneous measurement of all heteronuclear and homonuclear couplings within CH, CH2, and CH3 groups in a single spectrum with the necessary precision and sign information. The simplicity of the approach and the absence of artefacts like phase distortions due to antiphase evolution make it ideally suited for coupling determination of organic molecules at natural abundance.  相似文献

We have performed an ab initio band structure calculation for the new high-Tc related iron-pnictide compounds LaFeXO (X = P, As), BaFe2As2, CaFe2As2 and LiFeAs (X = P, As). We found that LaFeXO and CaFe2As2 have many similarities in their band structures, which is expected by an ionic model. We found that the degree of distortion of FeAs4 tetrahedra in LaFeAsO considerably changes the slope of the density of states near the Fermi level, and this result may explain why REFeAsO (RE = Nd, Sm, …) have higher Tc than LaFeAsO when electrons are doped. For all the above compounds, the density of states at the Fermi level decreases when X atoms approaches to the Fe–Fe plane, which means that the hybridization between Fe and X orbitals considerably expands the Fe d-bands.  相似文献
