Noether交换环是一类非常重要的环,本文主要对Noether交换环进行了研究和讨论,得到了Noether交换环、Noether整环的若干性质;并推广了文[1]中的部分结果.     

Noetherian rings of low global dimension and syzygetic prime ideals

Let R be a Noetherian ring. We prove that R has global dimension at most two if, and only if, every prime ideal of R is of linear type. Similarly, we show that R has global dimension at most three if, and only if, every prime ideal of R is syzygetic. As a consequence, we derive a characterization of these rings using the André-Quillen homology.     

On the Countability of Noetherian Dimension of Modules

Abstract

It is shown that a module M has countable Noetherian dimension if and only if the lengths of ascending chains of submodules of M has a countable upper bound. This shows in particular that every submodule of a module with countable Noetherian dimension is countably generated. It is proved that modules with Noetherian dimension over locally Noetherian rings have countable Noetherian dimension. We also observe that ω^ω is a universal upper bound for the lengths of all chains in Artinian modules over commutative rings.     

Irredundant intersections of valuation overrings of two-dimensional Noetherian domains

Let D be a two-dimensional Noetherian domain, let R be an overring of D, and let Σ and Γ be collections of valuation overrings of D. We consider circumstances under which (_VΣV)∩R=(_WΓW)∩R implies that Σ=Γ. We show that if R is integrally closed, these representations are “strongly” irredundant, and every member of ΣΓ has Krull dimension 2, then Σ=Γ. If in addition Σ and Γ are Noetherian subspaces of the Zariski–Riemann space of the quotient field of D (e.g. if Σ and Γ have finite character), then the restriction that the members of ΣΓ have Krull dimension 2 can be omitted. An example shows that these results do not extend to overrings of three-dimensional Noetherian domains.     

On the Finiteness of Noetherian Rings with Finitely Many Regular Elements

Let R be a left Noetherian ring and ZD(R) be the set of all zero-divisors of R. In this paper, it is shown that if R \ ZD(R) is finite, then R is finite.     

The property of being equationally Noetherian for some soluble groups

Let B be a class of groups A which are soluble, equationally Noetherian, and have a central series A = A₁ ⩾ A₂ ⩾ … A_n ⩾ … such that ⋂A_n = 1 and all factors A_n/A_n+1 are torsion-free groups; D is a direct product of finitely many cyclic groups of infinite or prime orders. We prove that the wreath product D ≀ A is an equationally Noetherian group. As a consequence we show that free soluble groups of arbitrary derived lengths and ranks are equationally Noetherian. The Ideal Completion of a Noetherian Local Domain

The ideal topology on a integral domain R is the linear topology which has as a fundamental system of neighborhoods of 0 the nonzero ideals of R. We investigate the properties of the ideal topology on a Noetherian local domain (R, 𝔪), and we establish connections between the 𝔪-adic completion and the ideal completion. We give conditions under which the completion in the ideal topology is Noetherian, and we show that, unlike the 𝔪-adic completion, the completion in the ideal topology is not always Noetherian.     

Lazy bases: a minimalist constructive theory of Noetherian rings

We give a constructive treatment of the theory of Noetherian rings. We avoid the usual restriction to coherent rings; we can even deal with non‐discrete rings. We introduce the concept of rings with certifiable equality which covers discrete rings and much more. A ring R with certifiable equality can be fitted with a partial ideal membership test for ideals of R. Lazy bases of ideals of R [X ] are introduced in order to derive a partial ideal membership test for ideals of R [X ]. It is then proved that if R is Noetherian, then so is R [X ]. Let R be a ring with identity,and R-fil denote the set of all left topolo-gizing filters on R.In this paper,we give a sufficient condition for the commutativityof R-fil under the hypothesis of left Noetherianness,as well as some examples.     

On Flatness and Completion for Infinitely Generated Modules over Noetherian Rings

Let A be a noetherian commutative ring, and let 𝔞 be an ideal in A. We study questions of flatness and 𝔞-adic completeness for infinitely generated A-modules. This is done using the notions of decaying function and 𝔞-adically free A-module.     

Extremizers and sharp weak-type estimates for positive dyadic shifts

We find the exact Bellman function for the weak L¹$L^1$ norm of local positive dyadic shifts. We also describe a sequence of functions, self-similar in nature, which in the limit extremize the local weak-type (1,1) inequality.     

Noetherian Skew Group Rings of F.C Groups

Let R *θG be the skew group ring with a F.C group G and the group homom-rphismθfrom G to Aut(R), the group of automorphisms of the ring R. In this paper,the necessary and sufficient condition such that R*θG will be Noetherian is given, which generalizes the results of I.G. connel.     

Cardinalities of Residue Fields of Noetherian Integral Domains

We determine the relationship between the cardinality of a Noetherian integral domain and the cardinality of a residue field. One consequence of the main result is that it is provable in Zermelo–Fraenkel Set Theory with Choice (ZFC) that there is a Noetherian domain of cardinality ?₁ with a finite residue field, but the statement “There is a Noetherian domain of cardinality ?₂ with a finite residue field” is equivalent to the negation of the Continuum Hypothesis.
