有理Fourier级数在变差条件下的收敛性研究

本文把Fourier级数的一些经典结论推广到有理Fourier级数的情况下. 首先给出了有理Fourier级数和共轭有理Fourier级数在有界变差条件下的收敛速度估计. 利用此结论, 得到了类似于Fourier级数的Dirichlet-Jordan定理和W. H. Young定理. 最后, 证明了这两个定理在调和有界变差条件下也成立.     

Fourier级数部分和对ω-型单调函数的逼近

引入ω－型单调函数的概念，研究了Fourier级数部分和对其的逼近问题，推广了Mazhar(1991）的结果，减弱了Salem和Zygmund(1946）的结果的条件，使Salem和Zygmund的结论适用于更大的函数类。     

均值有界变差条件及其在Fourier分析中的应用

本文宣布了关于Fourier (三角)级数的系数数列单调性条件的一个最终推广.我们已经证明了该条件对正弦级数保持一致收敛性方面已不可作任何推广,一些Fourier分析中重要和有趣的经典定理也已经在此最终条件下重新建立.本文因而对长达90年的研究历史作了一个简要综述.这一系列论文中的第一篇原始论文公布在arXiv:math.CA/0611805 v1, November 27, 2006.

已经对正弦级数的系数建立了一个本质上无法再推广的确切条件(对数有界变差条件) 保证其L¹- 收敛性成立. 然而, 一般来说, “全局性” 的条件在实际中是比较难以应用的. 本文进一步将条件推广到“分段性” 条件, 建立了正弦级数L¹- 收敛性的完整结果, 其重要意义在于: 第一, “全局性” 的对数有界变差条件是对单调递减条件的推广, 而本文中建立的“分段性” 的对数有界变差条件在每段中既可以推广单调递减条件, 还可以容纳单调递增条件; 第二, 可以允许所讨论的正弦级数的系数分段改变符号, 而全局性的条件要求系数不能变号; 第三, 可以允许所讨论的正弦级数的部分系数为零, 而这也是全局性的条件所无法做到的; 第四, 可用来实际构造可积的正弦级数, 这是全局性的条件比较难以做到的.     

Orlicz-Sobolev空间单调性及其在最佳逼近中的应用

改进了Hudzik,Kurc关于最佳逼近中的结果,给出了赋Orlicz范数的Orlicz- Sobolev空间具有一致单调性、局部一致单调性和严格单调性的充要条件、单调系数的数值,以及在最佳逼近中的应用.

In this paper,we consider numerical and trigonometric series with a very general monotonicity condition.First,a fundamental decomposition is established from which the sufficient parts of many classical results in Fourier analysis can be derived in this general setting.In the second part of the paper a necessary and sufficient condition for the uniform convergence of sine series is proved generalizing a classical theorem of Chaundy and Jolliffe.     

On the relations among best approximation and Fourier coeffcients

We discuss the relations among the best approximation En(f) and the Fourier coeffcients of a function, f(n) ∈ C,n = 0,±1,±2,..., under the conditions that {f (n)}∞n=0 ∈ MVBVS* and {f (n) f(n)}∞n=0 ∈ MVBVS*, where MVBVS* is the class of the so-called Strong Mean Value Bounded Variation Sequences.
