Structure and Properties of Double Halogenides of Substituted Ammonium and Mercury(II). VI. Crystal Structure of (CH3NH3)2HgBr4 and (CH3NH3)2HgI4 The compounds (CH3NH3)2HgBr4 and (CH3NH3)2HgI4 were prepared from stoichiometric mixtures of the methylammonium halogenides and the mercury(II) halogenides in methanol by evaporation. X-ray structure determination revealed for (CH3NH3)2HgBr4 monoclinic symmetry, space group P21/c and orthorhombic symmetry, space group Pbca for (CH3NH3)2HgI4. Both compounds are built from isolated, slightly deformed tetrahedra. The Hg? Br distances range from 2.586(3) Å to 2.598(2) Å, the Br? Hg? Br angles from 105.36(8)° to 112.26(8)°. The observed distances in the HgI4 tetrahedra are in the range 2.751(1) and 2.803(1) Å, the I? Hg? I angles between 106.25(3)° and 115.68(4)°. The tetrahedra are linked together by hydrogen bonds between the methylammonium group and the halogen atoms.  相似文献

Two Mercuric Ammoniates: [Hg(NH3)2][HgCl3]2 and [Hg(NH3)4](ClO4)2 [Hg(NH3)2][HgCl3]2 ( 1 ) is obtained by saturating an equimolar solution of HgCl2 and NH4Cl with Hg(NH2)Cl at 75 °C. 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pmna with a = 591.9(1) pm, b = 800.3(1) pm, c = 1243.3(4) pm, Z = 2. The structure consists of linear cations [Hg(NH3)2]2+ and T‐shaped anions [HgCl3]. The coordination sphere of mercury is ?effectively”? completed to compressed hexagonal bipyramids and distorted octahedra, respectively. Single crystals of [Hg(NH3)4](ClO4)2 ( 2 ) are obtained by passing gaseous ammonia through a solution of mercuric perchlorate, while the solution was cooled to temperatures below 10 °C. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 791.52(9) pm, b = 1084.3(2) pm, c = 1566.4(2) pm, β = 120.352(1)°, Z = 4. The structure consists of compressed [Hg(NH3)4]2+ tetrahedra and perchlorate anions. The packing of the heavy atoms Hg and Cl is analogous to the baddeleyite (α‐ZrO2) type of structure.  相似文献

A Raman spectroscopic study of (CH3NH3)2HgCl4 is reported in the temperature range 299–373 K. Discontinuities in the HgCl symmetric stretching mode and in the frequency shift of the CN stretching mode indicate a new phase above 330 K. A non-linear increment of the widths of these bands confirms the transition. Arrhenius behaviour of the CN stretching mode indicates a barrier of 1234 cm−1.  相似文献

Polysulfonyl Amines. XXXVII. Preparation of Mercury Dimesylamides. Crystal and Molecular Structures of Hg[N(SO2CH3)2]2, Hg[{N(SO2CH3)2}2(DMSO)2], and Hg[{N(SO2CH3)2}2(HMPA)] Hg[N(SO2CH3)2]2 ( 1 ) and Hg2[N(SO2CH3)2]2 ( 2 a ) are formed as colourless, sparingly soluble precipitates when solutions of Hg(NO3)2 or Hg2(NO3)2 in dilute nitric acid are added to an aqueous HN(SO2CH3)2 solution. By a similar reaction, Hg2[N(SO2C6H4 ? Cl? 4)2]2 is obtained. 1 forms isolable complexes of composition Hg[N(SO2CH3)2]2 · 2 L with L = dimethyl sulfoxide (complex 3 a ), acetonitrile, dimethyl formamide, pyridine or 1,10-phenanthroline and a (1/1) complex Hg[N(SO2CH3)2]2 · HMPA ( 4 ) with hexamethyl phosphoramide. Attempted complexation of 2 a with some of these ligands induced formation of Hg0 and the corresponding HgII complexes. Crystallographic data (at -95°C) are for 1: space group 141/a, a = 990.7(2), c = 2897.7(8) pm, V = 2.844 nm3, Z = 8, Dx = 2.545Mgm?3; for 4a: space group P1 , a = 767.8(2), b = 859.2(2), c = 925.2(2)pm α = 68.44(2), β = 86.68(2), γ = 76.24(2)°, V = 0.551nm3, Z = 1, Dx = 2.113 Mgm?3; for 4: space group P21/c, a = 1041.3(3), b = 1545.4(3), c = 1542.5(3) pm, β = 100.30(2)°, V = 2.474nm3, Z = 4, Dx = 1.944Mgm3. The three compounds form molecular crystals. The molecular structures contain a linear or approximately linear, covalent NHgN moiety; the Hg? N distances and N? Hg? N angles are 206.7(4) pm and 176.3(2)° for 1, 207.2(2) pm and 180.0° for 3a, 205.7(4)/206.7(4) pm and 170.5(1)° for 4. In the complexes 3a and 4, the 0-ligands are bonded to the Hg atoms perpendicularly to the N? Hg? N axes, leading in 3a to a square-planar trans-(N2O2) coordination with Hg? 0 261.2(2) pm and N? Hg? O 92.3(1)/87.7(1)°, in 4 to a slightly distorted T-shaped (N2O) geometry with Hg? 0 246.2(4)pm and N? Hg? 0 96.7(1)/92.0(1)°. In all three structures, the primary coordination is extended to a severely distorted (N2O4) hexacoordination by the appropriate number of secondary, inter- and/or intramolecular Hg…?0 inter-actions (0 atoms from sulfonyl groups, Hg…?O distances in the range 280—300pm). The intramolecular Hg…?O interactions give rise to nearly planar four-membered [HgNSO] rings. The molecule of 1 has a two-fold axis through the bisector of the N? Hg? N angle, the molecule of 3a an inversion center at the Hg atom. The molecule of 4 has no symmetry.  相似文献

Using four basis bets, (6‐311G(d,p), 6‐31+G(d,p), 6‐31++G(2d,2p), and 6‐311++G(3df,3pd), the optimized structures with all real frequencies were obtained at the MP2 level for the dimers CH2O? HF, CH2O? H2O, CH2O? NH3, and CH2O? CH4. The structures of CH2O? HF, CH2O? H2O, and CH2O? NH3 are cycle‐shaped, which result from the larger bend of σ‐type hydrogen bonds. The bend of σ‐type H‐bond O…H? Y (Y?F, O, N) is illustrated and interpreted by an attractive interaction of a chemically intuitive π‐type hydrogen bond. The π‐type hydrogen bond is the interaction between one of the H atoms of CH2O and lone pair(s) on the F atom in HF, the O atom in H2O, or the N atom in NH3. In contrast with the above three dimers, for CH2O? CH4, because there is not a π‐type hydrogen bond to bend its linear hydrogen bond, the structure of CH2O? CH4 is noncyclic shaped. The interaction energy of hydrogen bonds and the π‐type H‐bond are calculated and discussed at the CCSD (T)/6‐311++G(3df,3pd) level. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Quantum Chem, 2005  相似文献

The Hg atom in the title monomeric complex, dichlorobis(3‐imidazolium‐2‐thiolato‐S)mercury(II), [HgCl2(C3H4N2S)2], is four‐coordinate having an irregular tetrahedral geometry composed of two Cl atoms [Hg—Cl 2.622 (2) and 2.663 (2) Å] and two thione S atoms [Hg—S 2.445 (2) and 2.462 (2) Å]. The monodentate thione ligand adopts a zwitterionic form and exists as the 3‐imidazolium‐2‐thiolate ion. The bond angle S1—Hg—S2 of 130.87 (8)° has the greatest deviation from ideal tetrahedral geometry. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds between two of the four N—H groups and one of the Cl atoms [3.232 (8) and 3.238 (7) Å] stabilize the crystal structure, while the other two N—H groups contribute through the formation of N—H?Cl intramolecular hydrogen bonds with the other Cl atom [3.121 (7) and 3.188 (7) Å].  相似文献

At present, developing new organic–inorganic hybrid materials (OIHM) and studying their photoelectric properties is an important research field. In this work, the OIHM (CH3NH3)2HgCl4 (MA2HgCl4) single crystal and thin film are prepared. The results show that the crystal structure of MA2HgCl4 has a monoclinic crystal system with P21/c (14) space group (unit cell dimensions 7.776 × 12.917 × 10.993 Å, 90.00 × 96.366 × 90.00) by solving the single crystal diffraction data. The band gap of MA2HgCl4 is calculated to be approximately 3.21 eV. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study on MA2HgCl4 for optoelectronic application. The photodetector based on MA2HgCl4 thin film is highly selective for ultraviolet (UV) light (369 nm), and has a poor response for visible light. The electrochemical impedance spectrum shows that the impedance value (2 kΩ) of the device under 369 nm UV light is four magnitudes lower than that (107 Ω) under dark. Thus, MA2HgCl4 has the nature of a photoconductor. The density functional theory indicates that the valence band maximum (VBM) of MA2HgCl4 is mainly derived from Cl-3p state, Hg-5d state and organic CH3NH3+ state also participate in the formation of the VBM band. The electron states of VBM and the conduction band minimum of MA2HgCl4 come from inorganic HgCl42− clusters.  相似文献

Alkylammonium Hexachlorometallates. I. Crystallization Properties and Crystal Structure of Diethylenetriammonium Hexachlororhodate, [H3N(CH2)2NH2(CH2)2NH3][RhCl6] The reaction of RhCl3 · 3H2O with diethylenetriamine in 12 m hydrochloric acid yielded diethylenetriammonium hexachlororhodate [H3N(CH2)2NH2(CH2)2NH3][RhCl6] ( 1 ). Dark red single crystals of the compound were grown under hydrothermal conditions at a temperature interval of 180°C to 125°C in closed glass ampoules over several weeks (space group C2/c, a = 30.956(4) Å, b = 7.371(2) Å, c = 12.9736(15) Å, β = 113.787(11)°, Z = 8, 2385 reflections with I > 0, wR2(obs.) = 0.0279, R1(I > 2σ(I)) = 0.0271). The crystal structure is determined by a complex framework of hydrogen bonds between the hexachlororhodate anions and the diethylenetriammonium cations.  相似文献

The new cation-radical salt (EPT)HgCl3 is prepared. Its structure and electrical conductivity are studied. The crystal structure of (EPT)HgCl3 contains (EPT)+ in the chair conformation and trigonal planar HgCl3 packed into organic and inorganic layers alternating along thea axis. Shortened intermolecular contacts join HgCl3 into infinite chains along the c axis (Hg...Cl, 3.289 and 3.387 Å), form stacks (S...S, 3.536 and 3.597 Å) and layers (S...S, 3.427–3.498 Å) of EPT+ cation-radicals, and create cation-anion interactions between neighboring layers in the crystal (Cl...S, 3.396–3.521 Å, Cl...C, 3.360 Å). The configuration of the bonds around Hg in HgCl3 is distorted trigonal planar: Hg-Cl, 2.342(3)–2.449(3) Å, Cl-Hg-Cl, 110.7(1)–137.4(1). The Hg atom lies out of the plane of the Cl atoms by 0.015 Å. The conductivity of (EPT)HgCl3 at 20°C is 300 5·10–2 (·cm)–1. The dependence of conductivity on temperature is semiconducting in nature.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 9, pp. 2055–2061, September, 1991.

The preparation of trans-[Co(NH3)4(CH3NH2)Br]2+ and trans-[Co(NH3)4(CH3NH2)-(NO3)]2+ complexes is described. The UV-VIS spectra of the complexes indicate a decrease of the ligand field compared to the parent pentaammines. Infrared spectra match with the pattern of the corresponding pentaammines. The catalyzed (by Hg2+) aquation of the trans-bromomethylamine complex go under retention of the stereochemical configuration. The base hydrolysis (studied at 25°C) products show trans to cis rearrangement for both complexes. 1H NMR spectroscopy is used for identification of the stereochemical configuration of the compounds.  相似文献

Hg2(CH3SO3)2: Synthesis, Crystal Structure, Thermal Behavior, and Vibrational Spectroscopy Colorless single crystals of Hg2(CH3SO3)2 are formed in the reaction of HgO, Hg, and HSO3CH3. In the monoclinic compound (I2/a, Z = 4, a=883.2(2), b=854.0(2), c=1188.9(2) pm, β = 92.55(2)°, Rall=0.0445) the Hg22+ ion is coordinated by two monodentate CH3SO3 anions. Further contacts Hg‐O occur in the range from 262 to 276 pm and lead to a linkage of the [Hg2(CH3SO3)2] units. The thermal analysis shows that Hg2(CH3SO3)2 decomposes at 300° yielding elemental mercury. The mass numbers of the species evolved lead to the assumtion that SO3, SO2, CO2, CO and H2CO are formed during the reaction. In the IR and the Raman spectrum the typical vibrations of the CH3SO3 ion are observed, the Raman spectrum shows the Hg‐Hg stretching vibration at 177 cm—1 within the Hg22+ ion additionally.  相似文献

The title compound, poly[diamminehexa‐μ‐cyano‐dicopper(I)copper(II)mercury(II)], [Cu3Hg(CN)6(NH3)2]n, has a novel threefold‐interpenetrating structure of three‐dimensional frameworks. This three‐dimensional framework consists of two‐dimensional network Cu3(CN)4(NH3)2 complexes and rod‐like Hg(CN)2 complexes. The two‐dimensional network complex contains trigonal–planar CuI (site symmetry m) and octahedral CuII (site symmetry 2/m) in a 2:1 ratio. Two types of cyanide group form bridges between three coordination sites of CuI and two equatorial sites of CuII to form a two‐dimensional structure with large hexagonal windows. One type of CN group is disordered across a center of inversion, while the other resides on the mirror plane. Two NH3 molecules (site symmetry 2) are located in the hexagonal windows and coordinate to the remaining equatorial sites of CuII. Both N atoms of the rod‐like Hg(CN)2 group (Hg site symmetry 2/m and CN site symmetry m) coordinate to the axial sites of CuII. This linkage completes the three‐dimensional framework and penetrates two hexagonal windows of two two‐dimensional network complexes to form the threefold‐interpenetrating structure.  相似文献

In the title complex, {[Cu(C6H5O3)Cl(H2O)]·H2O}n, the CuII atom has a deformed square‐pyramidal coordination geometry formed by two O atoms of the maltolate ligand, two bridging Cl atoms and the coordinated water O atom. The Cu atoms are bridged by Cl atoms to form a polymeric chain. The deprotonated hydroxyl and ketone O atoms of the maltolate ligand form a five‐membered chelate ring with the Cu atom. Stacking interactions and hydrogen bonds exist in the crystal.  相似文献

AsPh4[ReCl4(NO)(OC(NH2)CH3)]; Preparation, I.R. Spectrum, and Crystal Structure AsPh4[ReCl4(NO)(OC(NH2)CH3)] is obtained in the form of light green crystals from AsPh4[ReCl4(NO)2] and acetonitrile in the presence of water in a dichloromethane solution. According to X-ray diffraction measurements, the complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with four formula units per unit cell (R = 4.5%, 5889 independent reflexions). There are two moles of water extra incorporated in the lattice. The structure consists of tetraphenylarsonium cations and anions [ReCl4(NO)(OC(NH2)CH3)]?, in which the Re atom is coordinated octahedrally by four equatorial chlorine atoms, the N atom of the nitrosyl group, and in trans-position to it, by the O atom of the acetamide ligand. The NO group is situated in a nearly stretched arrangement (173°); it causes a trans-effect, which does not allow the chlorine atoms to form a plane with the Re atom anymore (average N? Re? Cl angle 94.3°), the i.r. spectrum is reported an assigned.  相似文献

The reaction of methylammonium halides and cobalt halides yielded the organic‐inorganic hybrid compounds of general formula (CH3NH3)2CoX4. By varying the different halides, we were able to synthesize the whole row from Cl to I as well as some mixed halides compounds and to determinate the crystal structures. (CH3NH3)2CoX4 (X = Cl, Br, Cl0.5Br0.5, Br0.5I0.5) crystallize isotypic to (CH3NH3)2HgCl4 in space group P21/c with Z = 4 [X = Cl: a = 7.6483(9), b = 12.6885(18), c = 10.8752(12) Å, β = 96.639(9)°; X = Cl0.5Br0.5: a = 7.8271(9), b = 12.9543(9), c = 11.1007(11) Å, β = 96.320(8)°; X = Br: a = 7.9782(2), b = 13.1673(2), c = 11.2602(2) Å, β = 96.3260(10)° and X = Br0.5I0.5: a = 8.2435(12), b = 13.645(2), c = 11.5856(18) Å, β = 95.54(2)°]. The mixed halides show a statistic distribution in both cases. In (CH3NH3)2CoCl2I2 an ordered variant is realized representing a new structure type [C2/m, Z = 4, a = 18.808(4), b = 7.3604(7), c = 10.4109(17) Å, β = 120.364(13)°]. (CH3NH3)2CoI4 crystallizes again isotypic to the respective mercury compound [(CH3NH3)2HgCl4] [Pbca, Z = 8, a = 10.9265(5), b = 12.1552(5), c = 20.9588(9) Å]. All structures are build up by inorganic tetrahedral [CoX4]2– anions and organic (CH3NH4)+ cations. Additionally the Raman spectra as well as the optical reflectance spectra are discussed.  相似文献

The reaction of [1,3‐bis(2‐ethoxy)benzene]triazene, [ HL ], with Hg(SCN)2 and Hg(CH3COO)2, resulted in the formation of the complexes [Hg L (SCN)] ( 1 ) and [Hg L 2] · CH3OH ( 2 ). They were characterized by means of X‐ray crystallography, CHN analysis, FT‐IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The structure of compound 1 consists of two independent complexes in which the HgII atoms are stacked along the crystallographic a axis to form infinite chains. Each HgII atom is chelated by one L ligand and one SCN ligand, whereas in compound 2 , the HgII atom is surrounded by two L ligands. In addition, 1D chains formed by metal–π interactions are connected to each other by C–H ··· π stacking interactions in the structure of 1 , which results in a 2D architecture. An interesting feature of compound 2 is the presence of C–H ··· π edge‐to‐face interactions.  相似文献

Crystal Growth and Refinement of the Crystal Structure of Mercury(II) Amide Chloride – HgClNH2 Single crystals were prepared by recrystallization of HgClNH2 from aqueous NH3/NH4+ solution at 160 °C. They were used for a single‐crystal X‐ray structure redetermination. The previously reported [W. N. Lipscomb, Acta. Crystallogr. 1951 , 4, 266.] structural topology determined on basis of X‐ray powder diffraction data is now confirmed. However, a higher symmetry is found: Space group type Pmma (instead of Pmm2), a = 6.709(1) Å, b = 4.351(1) Å, c = 5.154(1) Å, Z = 2. The crystal structure contains zig‐zag‐chains [Hg(NH2)2/2]+. Four Cl atoms complete the coordination sphere of Hg to a distorted octahedron. These share common faces and edges in layers [HgCl4/4(NH2)2/2]. These layers are connected via hydrogen bonds N–H…Cl.  相似文献
