The ionization (or basicity) constants (pKb) were determined for many 2‐substituted 4,6‐diamino‐s‐tri‐azines ( I ) by means of the electrometric titration. I includes 2‐alkoxy or aryloxy‐( Ia ), 2‐alkyl‐ or 2‐aryl‐( Ib ), and 2‐alkylamino‐ or 2‐arylamino‐4,6‐diamino‐s‐triazines ( Ic ). For the series with the same alkyl or aryl group, the order of the basicity was found to be Ic < Ib < Ia . A study was made of relationships between the pKb, values of I , and the substituent constants, σp, σm, σp+, σm+, σpO, σmo, σI, σn, and σ*. The Hammett relationships were observed between the pKa values of I, and the substituent constants σm, (or the combination ones, [0.97σm + 0.03σp] as well as another [0.77σI + 0.23σR]). The Taft relationships were also found between the pKa values of Ia , Ib , and Ic and the constants σ*, respectively. Furthermore, in the case of Ic a linear relationship was observed between the pKa values and Σσ8.  相似文献

RhIII and IrIII complexes based on the λ3‐P,N hybrid ligand 2‐(2′‐pyridyl)‐4,6‐diphenylphosphinine ( 1 ) react selectively at the P?C double bond to chiral coordination compounds of the type [( 1 H ? OH)Cp*MCl]Cl ( 2 , 3 ), which can be deprotonated with triethylamine to eliminate HCl. By using different bases, the pKa value of the P? OH group could be estimated. Whereas [( 1 H ? O)Cp*IrCl] ( 4 ) is formed quantitatively upon treatment with NEt3, the corresponding rhodium compound [( 1 H ? O)Cp*RhCl] ( 5 ) undergoes tautomerization upon formation of the λ5σ4‐phosphinine rhodium(III) complex [( 1? OH)Cp*RhCl] ( 6 ) as confirmed by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Blocking the acidic P? OH functionality in 3 by introducing a P? OCH3 substituent leads directly to the λ5σ4‐phosphinine iridium(III) complex ( 8 ) upon elimination of HCl. These new transformations in the coordination environment of RhIII and IrIII provide an easy and general access to new transition‐metal complexes containing λ5σ4‐phosphinine ligands.  相似文献

The rate law for the demetallation of the title indium(III)-porphin complex in aqueous acidic thiocyanate media at 3.00M ionic strength was found to be of the form where [H4P2?] is the concentration of the diacid product formed, [InP]t is the total concentration of all forms of indium(III)-porphin complex present, and a and b are constants. The constant a is a pseudo-third-order rate constant with the value (0.057 ± 0.005)M?2 s?1 and b has the value 0.704M?2 at 50.5°C. If the mechanism for demetallation involves ringpuckering with the attachment of two H+ ions, then 1/b can be identified with the product K1K2 for the stepwise dissociation of two protons from two ring pyrrolic nitrogen atoms of H2InP?. In the sulfonated tetraphenylporphin used for these studies the ring pyrrolic nitrogen atoms seem to be the most probable sites for protonation. If this identification is correct, the value of 1.42 ± 0.13 found for the product K1K2 shows the enormous effect that the presence of the In3+ center has on the ionization constants of these two protons. That the kinetic studies show saturation effects with respect to proton addition to InP3? may result from the fact that In3+ sits about 0.6 Å above the porphin ring.  相似文献

Cycloadditions of α,β-unsaturated acyl cyanides (=2-oxonitriles) 1 – 6 to styrene and its p-substituted derivatives 7a – f , h are of inverse electron demand and provide, under mild conditions, regio- and stereoselectively 2-aryl-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyran-6-carbonitriles 8 – 13 , generally in good yield. Rates for the cycloaddition of acryloyl cyanide 1 to p-substituted styrenes, determined in competition reactions of substrate pairs relative to that of styrene, increase in the order of electron-donating ability NO2<Cl<H<AcO<Me<AcNH<MeO of the p-substituent. Linear correlation of log (kX/kH), and σp+ substituent constants (a Hammett-type plot), gives a reaction constant ρp+ of −1.47±0.17, supporting a concerted mechanism.  相似文献

Thermodynamic pKa-values have been determined for 38 4-substituted quinuclidinium perchlorates. They are remarkably sensitive to the polar effect of the substituent and cover a range of 3.63 pKa units. Furthermore, they vary linearly and almost equally with temperature since the contribution of the TΔS° term to the free energy of ionization is relatively small and constant. The magnitude of the polar effect of the 4-cyano group varies with the solvent and appears to depend on its ability to form hydrogen bonds to the substituent rather than its dielectric constant. New inductive substituent constants σIq are derived from the pKa values. Their correlation with known inductive constants is only fair or unsatisfactory, especially as regards the relative order of hydrogen and the alkyl groups. The discrepancies can be ascribed mainly to the different models used to derive the substituent constants.  相似文献

Substituent effects on the 1H and 13C chemical shifts of 18 differently substituted (Z)-α,N-diaryl nitrones [N-(p-X-benzylidene)phenylamine N-oxides (Series I) and N-(benzylidene)-p-Y-phenylamine N-oxides (Series II)] have been obtained. A correlation has been found between the chemical shifts of the azomethine proton (H-α) and the Hammett σ parameters and the Swain and Lupton F and R parameters. Correlations of the chemical shifts of C-1 and C-4′ in Series I, and of C-α and C-1′ in Series II, with the same parameters have been investigated. In addition, the chemical shifts of the aromatic protons and carbons of the p-disubstituted (m-disubstituted in one case) benzene rings correlated with the appropriate substituent increments (Zi). These correlations confirm the dual behaviour of the nitrone group and the presence of through-resonance in these nitrones.  相似文献

Six α, β, β-trifluorostyrenes with the following substituents, viz., p-MeO, p-Me, m-Me, p-Cl, m-Cl, and m-CF3, were synthesized by the reaction of the corresponding Grignard reagents with tetrafluoroethylene in tetrahydrofuran. Similarly, α-and β-trifluoroethenylnaphthalenes were prepared. The substituent electronic effects on the 19F-NMR parameters were investigated for the trifluorostyrenes (I). Linear correlations between the Hammett σ constants and the following 19F-NMR parameters were established, namely, chemical shifts δ. (F1) and δ (F2), coupling constants J12, differences of chemical shifts Δδ3-1 (δ (F3)—δ(f1) or Δδ3-2. The results are consistent with previous expectations based on the simple concept of “distorted π-electron clouds”. Facts are presented which indicate that the Δδ3-1 (or Δδ3-2) values may serve as empirical measures of the degree of polarization of the π bonds of these fluoroolefins.  相似文献

pKa Values of 42 quinuclidinium perchlorates I have been measured in 0.1 M aqueous KCl-solution. In a few cases small corrections of earlier thermodynamic pKa values are indicated. These measurements, in conjunction with recent X-ray structure determinations, confirm the reliability of the inductive substituent constants σIq derived from them.  相似文献

Several boron compounds with 2-(imidazo[1,5-a]pyridin-3-yl)phenols, differentiated by the nature of the substituent (R) in the para position of the hydroxy group, have been synthesized and thoroughly characterized both in solution (1H, 13C, 11B, 19F NMR) and in the solid state (X-ray). All derivatives displayed attractive photophysical properties like very high Stokes shift, high fluorescence quantum yields and a good photostability in solution. Time-Dependent Density Functional Theory (TD-DFT) calculations allowed to define the main electronic transitions as intra ligand transitions (1ILT), which was corroborated by the Natural Transition Orbitals (NTOs) shapes. The HOMO-LUMO energy gap was correlated to the electronic properties of the substituent R on the phenolic ring, as quantified by its σp Hammett constant.  相似文献

Heterylation of 3-R1-5-R2-1'2'4-triazoles (pK a 3-12) with N-alkyl-, N-alkenyl-, N-alkoxy-carbonyl-, N-oxoalkyl-, N-nitroxyalkyl, N-nitroaminoalkyl-3'5-dinitro-1'2'4-triazoles results insubstitution of a nitro group in 5 position of the dinitro compound yielding 1-R-methyl-3-nitro-5-(3-R1-5-R2-1,2,4-triazolyl)-1,2,4-triazoles. The side processes: Hydroxide-ion attack on C5 and (or) N1 of the ring both in the substrate and in the target compound afford 1-R-methyl3-nitro-1,2,4-triazol-5-ones, 3,5-dinitro-1,2,4-triazole and NH-acids of N-C-bitriazole series. Optimal reaction media are aprotic dipolar substances, and for compounds prone to heterolysis ethyl acetate-water systems. The azole pK a is the decisive factor controlling the composition and the ratio of reaction products. The process is promising for azoles with pK a > 5, and the optimal range of pK a is 8-10.  相似文献

Tautomerism of aromatic β-ketoaldehydes p-XPhCOCH2CHO ( 1 , X = NMe2, OMe, Me, H, Br, NO2), aliphatic β-ketoaldehydes and benzoylacetaldehyde RCOCH2CHO ( 2 , R = Me, i-Bu, t-Bu, Ph), RCOCH(Me)CHO ( 3 , R = Me, Et, i-Pr) and methyl 2-formylpropionate MeOCOCH(Me)CHO ( 4 ) has been studied by the 1H NMR technique. In basic solvents both cis- and trans-enol forms of these compounds co-exist. trans-Enolisation, which occurs exclusively at the formyl group, is most favoured in compound ( 4 ) and least favoured in compounds ( 1 ) and ( 2 ). The increasing electron-attracting property of the substituent X in the aromatic β-ketoaldehydes ( 1 ), as well as increasing solvent basicity in the series propanediol-1, 2-carbonate, acetone < dimethylformamide < dimethylacetamide < pyridine, also shifts the equilibrium towards the trans-enol form. The trans-enol form is absent in aprotic solvents of low basicity such as CCl4, C2HCl3 and toluene. The thermodynamic parameters of the cis-trans-enol (C ? T) and cis-enol-enolic (C ? C') equilibria have been estimated from the temperature dependences. The transition from the cis-to the trans-enol form is accompanied by an entropy decrease of about 10 cal mol?1 degree?1. Nevertheless the trans-enol form is stabilised due to its lower enthalpy. The cis-trans-enol equilibrium is determined by the relative strength of the intramolecular hydrogen bond in the cis-enol form and the intermolecular hydrogen bonds with basic solvent molecules of the trans-enol form. The enthalpy difference of the two cis-enolic forms does not exceed 1.0 kcal/mol, in rough agreement with the data calculated by the CNDO/2 approximation. Polar solvents favour the hydroxymethyleneketone form (C) for both groups of compounds 2 and 3 . The content of the hydroxymethyleneketone form is about the same within series 2 where R = Me, i-Bu, Ph and is a little higher for the t-Bu derivative. A decrease of temperature only slightly shifts the equilibrium of compounds 1 and 2 to the hydroxymethyleneketone form, while in the case of 2-methyl-β-ketoaldehydes (3) this effect is markedly pronounced.  相似文献

The synthesis and physicochemical properties of a range of 2‐ and 6‐amido‐3‐hydroxypyridin‐4‐ones are described. All the amido‐substituted 3‐hydroxypyridin‐4‐ones have lower pKa values than 1,2‐dimethyl‐3‐hydroxypyridin‐4‐one (deferiprone). This is due to the inductive effect of the amido group. Furthermore, the pKa values of the 3‐hydroxy group in 1‐nonsubstituted pyridinones are dramatically lower than those of the corresponding 1‐alkyl analogues, indicating that a strong hydrogen bond exists between the 2‐amido function and the 3‐oxygen anion, which stabilises the anion. As a result of the decreased competition with protons, the pFe3+ values of this group of molecules are higher than that of deferiprone. The distribution coefficients of these molecules are also increased despite the lack of a hydrophobic 1‐alkyl substituent and this is ascribed to the intramolecular hydrogen bond. X‐ray diffraction studies confirm the existence of the intramolecular hydrogen bond.  相似文献

Some different substituted N-methyl-β,β′-diphenyl-diethylamines (I) were investigated mass spectrometrically. The main fragmentations and their genesis are summarized in Scheme 2. The molecular ion generates the major fragmentions a (m/e 148) and b (m/e (147 + X)); c (m/e 105) is formed from a and d (m/e (104+X)) from b by further decomposition. The logarithms of the ratios of the relative ion intensities a/b , c/a and d/b were correlated according to the Hammett equation with different substituent constants. The following correlation coefficients (at 20ev) were found: r = 0,98 (σ+), r = 0,63 (σ) and r = 0,96 (σ) respectively. On the basis of the above Hammett correlations, the value of this kind of investigation for the elucidation of mass spectral fragmentation mechanisms is discussed.  相似文献

Effects of meta-substituent of 3,4'/4,3'/3,3'-substituted benzylideneanilines (XBAYs) on the electrochemical reduction potentials (E(Red)) were investigated, in which 49 samples of target compounds were synthesized, and their reduction potentials were measured by cyclic voltammetry. The substituent effects on the E(Red) of target compounds were analyzed and an optimality equation with four parameters (Hammett constant σ of X, Hammett constant σ of Y, excited-state substituent constant σCCex of X, and the substituent specific cross-interaction effect ΔσCCex2 between X and Y) was obtained. The results show that the factors affecting the E(Red) of 3,4'/4,3'/3,3'-substituted XBAYs are different from those of 4,4'-substituted XBAYs. For 3,4'/4,3'/3,3'-substituted XBAYs, σ(X) and σ(Y) must be employed, and the contribution of ΔσCCex2 is important and not negligible. Compared with 4,4'-substituted XBAYs, X group contributes less to 3,4'/4,3'/3,3'-substituted XBAYs, while Y group contributes more to them. Additionally, it was observed that either para-substituted XBAYs or meta-substituted XBAYs, the substituent effects of X are larger than those of Y on the E(Red) of substituted XBAYs.  相似文献

Binary and ternary systems composed of dapsone, sulfobutylether‐β‐cyclodextrin (SBE‐β‐CD), β‐CD and egg phosphatidylcholine (EPC) were evaluated using 1D ROESY, saturation transfer difference NMR and diffusion experiments (DOSY) revealing the binary complexes Dap/β‐CD (Ka 1396 l mol?1), Dap/SBE‐β‐CD (Ka 246 l mol?1), Dap/EPC (Ka 84 l mol?1) and the ternary complex Dap/β‐CD/EPC (Ka 18 l mol?1) in which dapsone is more soluble. The rate constants (log k) for the solvolysis of 4e-substituted 2e- and 2a-adamantyl p-nitrobenzenesulfonates 14 and 15 , respectively, in 80% EtOH correlate linearly with the respective inductive substituent constants σ. Therefore, relative rates are controlled by the I effect of the substituents at C(4). The derived reaction constants, or inductivities, ρI of −0.80 and −0.64 for the series 14 and 15 , respectively, are far smaller than those previously determined for 6-substituted 2-norbornyl and 2-bicyclo[2.2.2]octyl sulfonates, in which the partial structure containing the substituent and the leaving group is the same. The ratio of the retained and inverted adamantanols obtained upon hydrolysis of the series 14 falls from 2.85 for R = CH3 to ca. 1 for R = CN, i.e. as the substituent at C(4) becomes more electron-attracting. In the 2a-series 15 this ratio is uniformly higher. These findings confirm that the 2-adamantyl cation is weakly bridged and that through-space induction in carbocations involves graded bridging of the cationic center by neighboring C-atoms.  相似文献

The influence of substitution of amidine group on tautomeric equilibria constants and basicities is discussed. Equations based on correlation analysis methods are derived enabling predictions of both, microscopic pKa, values of individual tautomers, measured macroscopic pKa values of the tautomeric mixture, as well as the tautomeric equilibrium constant (as pKT). It is shown that pKarn values of unsymmetrically N,N'-disubstituted amidines should obey a non-linear relation with σ° constants, and only for symmetrically N,N'-disubstituted amidines obey the linear Hammett equation. Tautomeric equilibrium constants of N,N'-disubstituted amidines correlate withσ° substituent constants. The methods of prediction of pKa value of both tautomers and pKT value are proposed.Derived relations are applied to the series of N,N'-diphenylacetamidines and benzamidines.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular structure of 3-oxo-17β-acetoxy-Δ4-14α-methyl-8α, 9β, 10α, 13α-estrene, C21H30O3, has been determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystals belong to the orthorhombic space group P212121, with the cell dimensions a = 12.093 Å, b = 19.667 Å, c = 7.746 Å; Z = 4. Intensity data were collected at room temperature with an automatic four-circle diffractometer. The structure was solved by direct methods and the parameters were refined by least-squares analysis. All the hydrogen atoms were included in the refinement. The final R value was 0.038 for 1413 observed reflections. The conformation of ring A is intermediate between a half-chair and a 1, 2-diplanar form. The hydrogens at C(9) and C(10) are anti, the B/C ring junction is trans, and rings B and C adopt chair conformations. Ring D is cis fused and is halfway between C2 and Cs forms.  相似文献

4,6‐Bis(2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐2‐alkylpyrimidines with two anthryl or 9‐ethylnylanthryl substituents at the positions para to the OH groups prefer a U‐shaped conformation supported by two intramolecular OH ??? N hydrogen bonds in the solid state and in CDCl3 solution. The compound with a hexyl substituent on the pyrimidine group and two 9‐ethynylanthryl arms at the hydroxyphenyl groups forms a 1:1 complex with 2,4,7‐trinitrofluorenone. Its association constant Ka was estimated to be 2100 M ?1 at 298 K, which is larger than those of other molecular tweezers (Ka<1000 M ?1). DFT calculations suggested that the complex adopts a stable conformation supported by intramolecular hydrogen bonds among the OH groups and the pyrimidine ring as well as by intermolecular π–π interaction between the anthryl groups and 2,4,7‐trinitrofluorenone. Addition of nBu4NF to a solution of the molecular tweezers or their complexes causes the cleavage of one or two OH ??? N hydrogen bonds, formation of new O ??? HF hydrogen bonds, and changes in the molecular conformation. The resulting structure of the molecular tweezers contains nonparallel anthryl groups, which do not bind the guest molecule. Photochemical measurements on 4,6‐bis(2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐2‐methylpyrimidine with two anthryl substituents showed negligible luminescence (quantum yield ?<0.01), owing to photoinduced electron transfer of the molecule with a U‐shaped structure. However, the O‐hexylated compound exhibits emission from the anthryl groups with ?=0.39.  相似文献
