Synthesis and Structure of μ-Sulfido-μ-disulfido-octabromoditungstate(V), [W2S3Br8]?2 Tungsten hexabromide reacts with H2S in dichloromethane yielding a brown product which, by addition of tetraphenylphosphonium bromide in CH2Cl2, is converted to brown, crystalline (PPh4)2[Br4W(μ-S)(μ-S2)WBr4] · CH2Cl2 · CH2S. Its IR spectrum is reported, its crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffraction (2330 reflexions, R = 0.097). Crystal data: orthorhombic, Pnma, a = 1 766.5, b = 2 412.7, c = 1 416.3 pm, Z = 4. In the diamagnetic [W2S3Br8]2? ions the two W atoms are linked via a sulfido and a disulfido bridge and by a W? W bond.  相似文献

The synthesis and crystal structure of novel trinuclear molybdenum cluster compound with somewhat “loose” coordination site {Mo33-S)(μ-S)3[S2P(OEt)2l4 ? P(C6H5)3} ? (0.86 CH2C12) have been reported. The cluster crystallizes in the space group with two molecules in a unit cell whose parameters are a=10.472(4), b=14.375(2), c=21.695(3)Å; α=74.04(1)°, β=76.50(2)°, γ=72.22 (2)°, V=2950Å3 and Do=1.693 g ? cm?3. On the basis of 4840 independent reflections with I≥2σ(I), the structure was solved by heavy atom method and Fourier method and refined by full-matrix least-squares techniques to a final R=0.058. The distances between Mo atoms in this cluster are 2.731(1), 2.748(1) and 2.753(1)Å respectively. The meat value of Mo—Mo bond lengths is slightly shorter than those in other trinuclear Mo clusters with “loosely coordinated” site. In addition, the PPh3 ligand is loosely coordinated to one Mo atom in direction opposite to the μ3-S with Mo—P bond length of 2.647(3)Å. This is different from the other structurally analogous clusters, in which the loosely coordinated ligand is trans to μ2-S. A summary of Mo—Mo and Mo—L bonding for such clusters is given.  相似文献

Two novel calix[4]cryptands were synthesized from 1,3‐alternate calix[4]bis‐azacrown. “Mappemonde II” consists of one 1,3‐calix[4]bis‐azacrown wrapped by a benzo‐crown ether loop. “Mill II” is composed of two 1,3‐calix[4]bis‐azacrowns linked by two benzo‐crown ether strands.  相似文献

The structures and energies of the electronic ground states of the FeS0/?, FeS20/?, Fe2S20/?, Fe3S40/?, and Fe4S40/? neutral and anionic clusters have been computed systematically with nine computational methods in combination with seven basis sets. The computed adiabatic electronic affinities (AEA) have been compared with available experimental data. Most reasonable agreements between theory and experiment have been found for both hybrid B3LYP and B3PW91 functionals in conjugation with 6‐311+G* and QZVP basis sets. Detailed comparisons between the available experimental and computed AEA data at the B3LYP/6‐311+G* level identified the electronic ground state of 5Δ for FeS, 4Δ for FeS?, 5B2 for FeS2, 6A1 for FeS2?, 1A1 for Fe2S2, 8A′ for Fe2S2?, 5A′′ for Fe3S4, 6A′′ for Fe3S4?, 1A1 for Fe4S4, and 1A2 for Fe4S4?. In addition, Fe2S2, Fe3S4, Fe3S4?, Fe4S4, and Fe4S4? are antiferromagnetic at the B3LYP/6‐311+G* level. The magnetic properties are discussed on the basis of natural bond orbital analysis.  相似文献
