Physalin A is a promising natural product with excellent anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor activities. However, the pharmacokinetic profile of physalin A is still unclear. In this study, a rapid and sensitive analytical method based on LC–MS/MS for the quantitation of physalin A in rat plasma with special consideration to its chemical stability was developed and validated. To avoid the degradation of physalin A, the separation of plasma was conducted at 4 °C directly after the blood samples were collected. Meanwhile, plasma samples were immediately precipitated with acetonitrile containing tolbutamide (internal standard, IS) and the pH of the supernatant was adjusted to 1.5 with formic acid. Chromatographic separation of physalin A and IS was achieved on an ACQUITY UPLC BEH-C18 column (2.1 × 50 mm, 1.7 μm) using 0.1% formic acid and acetonitrile as mobile phase delivered at 0.3 mL/min in a gradient elution mode. Physalin A and IS were detected through negative ion electrospray ionization in multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode. The MS/MS ion transitions for physalin A and IS were m/z 525.1–148.9 and m/z 269.8–169.9, respectively. The developed method showed good linearity over the range of 2.00–400 ng/mL. This method was successfully applied to the pharmacokinetic study of physalin A in rats following its intragastric administration and the findings were beneficial for future studies of physalin A.  相似文献

Meropenem (MER) is widely used to treat complicated and serious infections. Therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) provides a valid clinical tool to avoid suboptimal concentrations and dose–related adverse reactions. However, TDM seems to face challenges since the limited stability of MER in plasma makes transport difficult between clinics and laboratories. Dried plasma spot (DPS) sampling is an attractive but underutilized method for TDM that has the desired features of easy collection, storage, and transport, and overcomes known hematocrit (HCT) issues in dried blood spot (DBS) analysis. This study was designed to investigate a DPS–based liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS) method for quantification of MER. The method was developed and validated for DPS and wet plasma samples. Calibration curves were linear (R2 > 0.995) over the concentration range of 0.5–50 µg/mL. Overall accuracy and precision did not exceed 15% and no significant matrix effect was observed. MER has been more stable in DPS than in wet plasma samples. A comparison of DPS and wet plasma concentrations was assessed in 32 patients treated with MER. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the two methods. So the DPS method developed in this study is appropriate and practical for the monitor of MER in the daily clinical laboratory practice.  相似文献

Dapoxetine is used for the treatment of premature ejaculation. The present study developed an HPLC–MS/MS method to determine the levels of dapoxetine in human plasma processed using simple protein precipitation. Dapoxetine-d7 was selected as the internal standard. The established method was performed using a mass spectrometer equipped with an electrospray ionization source in multiple positive ion reactions to monitor the mode using the precursor-to-product ion transitions of m/z 306.2–157.2 and m/z 313.2–164.2 for dapoxetine-d7 and dapoxetine, respectively. The method was evaluated based on its selectivity, linearity, limit of quantification, precision, accuracy, matrix effects, dilution integrity, stability, and extraction recovery. As a result of the model used in the present study, the validated linear ranges of dapoxetine were determined to be 2.00~1000 ng/mL in plasma, and the selectivity, precision, accuracy, dilution integrity, stability, and extraction recovery met the accepted standard. No matrix interference was observed. The method was successfully validated and applied to pharmacokinetic studies in healthy Chinese volunteers during the fasting and postprandial periods, respectively.  相似文献

Fostamatinib is a prodrug of the active metabolite tamatinib, which is a spleen tyrosine kinase (Syk) inhibitor used in the treatment of primary chronic adult immune thrombocytopenia and rheumatoid arthritis. A highly sensitive, rapid, reliable, and green method was developed and validated using ultra-performance liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC–MS/MS) for quantification of tamatinib in rat plasma. Ibrutinib was used as internal standard and liquid–liquid extraction was applied using tert-butyl methyl ether. The analyte was separated on an AcquityTM CSH C18 (2.1 mm × 100 mm, 1.7 µm) column using mobile phase consisting of 10 mM ammonium acetate and acetonitrile (10:90) and the flow rate was 0.25 mL/min. Electrospray ionization (ESI) was carried out in positive mode. Quantitation of tamatinib and the IS was performed using multiple reaction monitoring mode with precursor-to-product transitions of m/z 471.1 > 122.0 and m/z 441.1 > 84.0, respectively. The calibration range was 0.1–1000.0 ng/mL and the linearity of the method was ≥0.997. The developed method greenness was investigated. All principal parameters for the method, including linearity, accuracy, precision, recovery, and stability, were within acceptable ranges. Tamatinib pharmacokinetic study in rats was successfully carried out using the developed method.  相似文献

The treatment of cancer is one of the most important pharmacotherapeutic challenges. To this end, chemotherapy has for some time been complemented by targeted therapies against specific structures. PDA-66, a structural analogue of the inhibitor of serine–threonine kinase glycogen synthase kinase 3β SB216763, has shown preclinical antitumour effects in various cell lines, with the key pathways of its anticancer activity being cell cycle modulation, DNA replication and p53 signalling. For the monitoring of anticancer drug treatment in the context of therapeutic drug monitoring, the determination of plasma concentrations is essential, for which an LC-MS/MS method is particularly suitable. In the present study, a sensitive LC-MS/MS method for the quantification of the potential anticancer drug PDA-66 in human plasma with a lower limit of quantification of 2.5 nM is presented. The method was successfully validated and tested for the determination of PDA-66 in mouse plasma and sera.  相似文献

Dietary supplements are widely available products used by millions of people around the world. Unfortunately, the procedure of adding pharmaceutical and psychoactive substances has recently been observed, in order to increase the effectiveness of supplements in the form of hemp oils. For this reason, it is extremely important to develop analytical methods for the detection of substances prohibited in dietary supplements and food products. In the present study, using the LC–MS/MS technique, an innovative method for the detection and quantification of 117 synthetic cannabinoids and 13 natural cannabinoids in dietary supplements and food products in the form of oils during one 13-min chromatographic run was developed. Each method was fully validated by characterization of the following parameters: The limit of detection was set to 0.1 ng/mL (100 µg/g, 0.01%). The limit of quantification ranged from 0.05 ng/mL to 50 ng/mL. The criteria assumed for systematic error caused by methodological bias (±20%) resulting from the recovery of analytes after the extraction process, as well as the coefficient of variation (CV) (≤20%), were met for all 130 tested compounds. The positive results of the validation confirmed that the developed methods met the requirements related to the adequacy of their application in a given scope. Additionally, methods developed using the LC–MS/MS technique were verified via proficiency tests. The developed analytical procedure was successfully used in the analysis of hemp oils and capsules containing them in the studied dietary supplements.  相似文献

In this study, a magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE) method coupled with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (HPLC–MS/MS) for the determination of illegal basic dyes in food samples was developed and validated. This method was based on Magnetic sulfonated reduced graphene oxide (M-S-RGO), which was sensitive and selective to analytes with structure of multiaromatic rings and negatively charged ions. Several factors affecting MSPE efficiency such as pH and adsorption time were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the calibration curves exhibited good linearity, ranging from 5 to 60 µg/g with correlation coefficients >0.9950. The limits of detection of 16 basic dyes were in the range of 0.01–0.2 µg/L. The recoveries ranged from 70% to 110% with RSD% < 10%. The results indicate that M-S-RGO is an efficient and selective adsorbent for the extraction and cleanup of basic dyes. Due to the MSPE procedures, matrix effect and interference were eliminated in the analysis of HPLC–MS/MS without the matrix-matched standards. Thus, validation data showed that the proposed MSPE–HPLC–MS/MS method was rapid, efficient, selective, and sensitive for the determination of illegal basic dyes in foods.  相似文献

This study aimed to evaluate the pharmacokinetics of acipimox in rats under simulated high altitude hypoxia conditions. A sensitive and reliable LC–MS/MS method has been established for the quantitation of acipimox in rat plasma and tissue homogenate and validated according to the guidelines of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Western blotting and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) were used to investigate the expression of lipid metabolism-related proteins and free fatty acid (FFA) levels, respectively. Cell viability was detected using a Cell Counting kit-8 assay (CCK-8). The method was then successfully applied in a pharmacokinetic comparison between normoxic and hypoxic rats. The results indicated that there were significant differences in the main pharmacokinetics parameters of acipimox between normoxic and hypoxic rats. HCAR2 expression in the hypoxia group was upregulated compared to that in the normoxia group and the levels of FFA decreased more in the hypoxia group. Under the hypoxia condition, the proliferation of HK2 cells was inhibited with increasing concentrations of acipimox. The results provide important and valuable information for the safety and efficacy of acipimox, which indicated that the dosage of acipimox might be adjusted appropriately during clinical medication in hypoxia.  相似文献

The simultaneous measurement of dexamethasone and cortisol has proven the ability to increase the diagnostic performance of the overnight dexamethasone-suppression test. Furthermore, the therapeutic drug monitoring of administered corticosteroid drugs could represent a crucial tool for investigating unexpected variations of steroid hormones’ circulating levels. In this work, an LC–MS/MS method for the quantification of cortisol, cortisone, dexamethasone and six additional exogenous corticosteroids in the serum/plasma matrix was developed and validated in compliance with the ISO/IEC requirements. To assess the efficiency of the validated method, serum samples of 75 patients undergoing the dexamethasone-suppression test and 21 plasma samples of patients under immunosuppressive treatment after kidney transplant were analyzed. In all dexamethasone-suppression test samples, it was possible to measure the circulating levels of cortisol, cortisone and dexamethasone. Concentrations of the latter were for all tested patients above the proposed cutoff for the dexamethasone-suppression test’s results, and the cortisol concentrations showed good correlation with the ones measured by routine immunometric analysis, therefore confirming the screening outcome for all enrolled patients. Prednisone was detected and quantified in all enrolled patients, confirming the use of such a corticosteroid for immunosuppressive therapy. Thanks to these two applications, we proved the overall performance of the developed LC–MS/MS method for four target analytes. The future implementation of such an analytical tool in the clinical biochemistry laboratory’s routine will guarantee a single and versatile tool for simultaneously monitoring dexamethasone-suppression-test results and corticosteroid drugs’ administration.  相似文献

Sorafenib (SOR), an inhibitor of multiple kinases, is a classic targeted drug for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) which often coexists with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Dapagliflozin (DAPA), a sodium–glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitor (SGLT2i), is widely used in patients with T2DM. Notably, co-administration of SOR with DAPA is common in clinical settings. Uridine diphosphate-glucuronosyltransferase family 1 member A9 (UGT1A9) is involved in the metabolism of SOR and dapagliflozin (DAPA), and SOR is the inhibitor of UGT1A1 and UGT1A9 (in vitro). Therefore, changes in UGT1A9 activity caused by SOR may lead to pharmacokinetic interactions between the two drugs. The objective of the current study was to develop an ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) method for the simultaneous determination of SOR and DAPA in plasma and to evaluate the effect of the co-administration of SOR and DAPA on their individual pharmacokinetic properties and the mechanism involved. The rats were divided into four groups: SOR (100 mg/kg) alone and co-administered with DAPA (1 mg/kg) for seven days, and DAPA (1 mg/kg) alone and co-administered with SOR (100 mg/kg) for seven days. Liquid–liquid extraction (LLE) was performed for plasma sample preparation, and the chromatographic separation was conducted on Waters XSelect HSS T3 column with a gradient elution of 0.1% formic acid and 5 mM ammonium acetate (Phase A) and acetonitrile (Phase B). The levels of Ugt1a7 messenger RNA (mRNA) were determined in rat liver and intestine using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). The method was successfully applied to the study of pharmacokinetic interactions. DAPA caused a significant decrease in the maximum plasma concentrations (Cmax) and the area under the plasma concentration–time curves (AUC0–t) of SOR by 41.6% and 50.5%, respectively, while the apparent volume of distribution (Vz/F) and apparent clearance (CLz/F) significantly increased 2.85- and 1.98-fold, respectively. When co-administering DAPA with SOR, the AUC0–t and the elimination half-life (t1/2Z) of DAPA significantly increased 1.66- and 1.80-fold, respectively, whereas the CLz/F significantly decreased by 40%. Results from qRT-PCR showed that, compared with control, seven days of SOR pretreatment decreased Ugt1a7 expression in both liver and intestine tissue. In contrast, seven days of DAPA pretreatment decreased Ugt1a7 expression only in liver tissue. Therefore, pharmacokinetic interactions exist between long-term use of SOR with DAPA, and UGT1A9 may be the targets mediating the interaction. Active surveillance for the treatment outcomes and adverse reactions are required.  相似文献

Cenobamate (CNB) is the newest antiseizure medication (ASM) approved by the FDA in 2019 to reduce uncontrolled partial-onset seizures in adult patients. Marketed as Xcopri in the USA or Ontozry in the EU (tablets), its mechanism of action has not been fully understood yet; however, it is known that it inhibits voltage-gated sodium channels and positively modulates the aminobutyric acid (GABA) ion channel. CNB shows 88% of oral bioavailability and is responsible for modifying the plasma concentrations of other co-administered ASMs, such as lamotrigine, carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital and the active metabolite of clobazam. It also interferes with CYP2B6 and CYP3A substrates. Nowadays, few methods are reported in the literature to quantify CNB in human plasma. The aim of this study was to develop and validate, according to the most recent guidelines, an analytical method using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC–MS/MS) to evaluate CNB dosage in plasma samples. Furthermore, we provided a preliminary clinical application of our methodology by evaluating the pharmacokinetic parameters of CNB in two non-adult patients. Plasma levels were monitored for two months. Preliminary data showed a linear increase in plasma CNB concentrations, in both patients, in agreement with the increase in CNB dosage. A seizure-free state was reported for both patients at the dose of 150 mg per day.  相似文献

A rapid, sensitive, and specific LC-MS/MS method was developed and fully validated for the detection of paeoniflorin only in rat plasma, and applied to pharmacokinetic studies, including intravenous, multi-dose oral and combined administrations with verapamil. In this study, tolbutamide was used as the internal standard, and the protein precipitation extraction method, using acetonitrile as the extraction agent, was used for the sample preparation. Subsequently, the supernatant samples were analyzed on a Phenomenex Gemini® NX-C18 column with a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min in a gradient elution procedure. In the extracted rat plasma, the method exhibited high sensitivity (LLOQ of 1.0 ng/mL) upon selecting ammonium adduct ions ([M+NH4]+) as the precursor ions and good linearity over the concentration range of 1.0–2000 ng/mL, with correlation coefficients >0.99. The intra- and inter-batch accuracy RE% values were within ±8.2%, and the precision RSD% values were ≤8.1% and ≤10.0%, respectively. The results show that the method can be successfully applied to quantitate paeoniflorin in biological samples. Additionally, paeoniflorin is subsequently confirmed to be the substrate of the P-gp transporter in vivo and in vitro for the first time, which would be necessary and beneficial to investigate the clinical safety and efficacy of PF with other drugs in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.  相似文献

Gungha-tang (GHT), a traditional herbal medicine, consists of nine medicinal herbs (Cnidii Rhizoma, Pinelliae Tuber, Poria Sclerotium, Citri Unshius Pericarpium, Citri Unshius Pericarpium Immaturus, Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, Atracylodis Rhizoma Alba, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, and Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens). It has been used for various diseases caused by phlegm. This study aimed to develop and verify the simultaneous liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS) analysis method, using nine marker components (liquiritin apioside, neoeriocitrin, narirutin, naringin, hesperidin, neohesperidin, liquiritigenin, glycyrrhizin, and 6-shogaol) for quality control of GHT. LC–MS/MS analysis was conducted using a Waters TQ-XS system. All marker analytes were separated on a Waters Acquity UPLC BEH C18 column (2.1 × 100 mm, 1.7 μm) using gradient elution with a distilled water solution (containing 5 mM ammonium formate and 0.1% [v/v] formic acid)–acetonitrile mobile phase. LC–MS/MS multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) analysis was carried out in negative and positive ion modes of an electrospray ionization source. The developed LC–MS/MS MRM method was validated by examining the linearity, limits of detection and quantification, recovery, and precision. LOD and LOQ values of nine markers were calculated as 0.02–8.33 ng/mL and 0.05–25.00 ng/mL. The recovery was determined to be 89.00–118.08% and precision was assessed with a coefficient of variation value of 1.74–8.64%. In the established LC–MS/MS MRM method, all markers in GHT samples were detected at 0.003–16.157 mg/g. Information gathered during the development and verification of the LC–MS/MS method will be useful for the quality assessment of GHT and other herbal medicines.  相似文献

A method was developed for the rapid and quantitative analysis of 30 veterinary drugs belonging to 17 classes (amphenicols (1), anthelmintics (1), cephalosporins (4), coccidiostats (1), lincosamides (1), macrolide (1), nitroimidazole (1), penicillins (3), phenylhydrazines (1), polypeptides (1), pyrethrins (1), quinolones (5), sulfonamides (3), tetracycline (3), neuroleptic agents (1), triazene trypanocidal agents (1), other. (1)) in feeds. The proposed method with a modified Quick Polar Pesticides (QuPPe) sample preparation was validated for the determination of 30 veterinary drugs in feed samples by liquid chromatography triple-quadrupole mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS). The sample was extracted with methanol containing 1% acetic acid and purified by dispersive solid-phase extraction (d-SPE) with C18. Good linearity (r2 ≥ 0.98) was observed, and the LOQ values ranged from 10 to 200 µg/kg. Average recoveries ranged from 70.8 to 118.4%, and the relative standard deviation was ≤ 18.7%. This validated method was used in the determination of 30 veterinary drugs in 142 feed samples obtained from South Korea. The results show that lincomycin was present in only one of the tested feed samples, although it was detected at a value lower than the LOQ. In conclusion, this multi-residue method can be used for screening through the detection and quantitation of residual multiclass veterinary drugs in feed samples.  相似文献

In this research, a UHPLC–MS/MS method was developed and validated for the determination of zonisamide in dried plasma spots (DPS) and dried blood spots (DBS). Detection of zonisamide and internal standard, 1-(2,3-dichlorphenyl)piperazine, was carried out in ESI+ mode by monitoring two MRM transitions per analyte. Total run time, less than 2.5 min, was achieved using Acquity UPLC BEH Amide (2.1 × 100 mm, 1.7 µm particle size) column with mobile phase comprising acetonitrile–water (85:15%, v/v) with 0.075% formic acid. The flow rate was 0.225 mL/min, the column temperature was 30 °C and the injection volume was 3 µL. Desolvation temperature, desolvation gas flow rate, ion source temperature and cone gas flow rate were set by the IntelliStart software tool in combination with tuning. All of the Guthrie cards were scanned, and DPS/DBS areas were determined by the image processing tool. The influence of hematocrit values (20–60%) on accuracy and precision was evaluated to determine the range within which method for DBSs is free from Hct or dependency is within acceptable limits. The validated method was applied to the determination of zonisamide levels in DPS and DBS samples obtained from patients confirming its suitability for clinical application. Finally, the distribution of zonisamide into the red blood cells was estimated by correlating its DPS and DBS levels.  相似文献

The combination regimen targeting BRAF and MEK inhibition, for instance, encorafenib (Braftovi, ENF) plus binimetinib (Mektovi®, BNB), are now recommended as first-line treatment in patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma with a BRAF V600-activating mutation. Patients treated with combination therapy of ENF and BNB demonstrated a delay in resistance development, increases in antitumor activity, and attenuation of toxicities compared with the activity of either agent alone. However, the pharmacokinetic profile of the FDA-approved ENF and BNB is still unclear. In this study, a rapid and sensitive LC-MS/MS bioanalytical method for simultaneous quantification of ENF and BNB in rat plasma was developed and validated. Chromatography was performed on an Agilent Eclipse plus C18 column (50 mm × 2.1 mm, 1.8 µm), with an isocratic mobile phase composed of 0.1% formic acid in water/acetonitrile (67:33, v/v, pH 3.2) at a flow rate of 0.35 mL/min. A positive multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode was chosen for detection and the process of analysis was run for 2 min. Plasma samples were pre-treated using protein precipitation with acetonitrile containing spebrutinib as the internal standard (IS). Method validation was assessed as per the FDA guidelines for the determination of ENF and BNB over concentration ranges of 0.5–3000 ng/mL (r2 ≥ 0.997) for each drug (plasma). The lower limits of detection (LLOD) for both drugs were 0.2 ng/mL. The mean relative standard deviation (RSD) of the results for accuracy and precision was ≤ 7.52%, and the overall recoveries of ENF and BNB from rat plasma were in the range of 92.88–102.28%. The newly developed approach is the first LC–MS/MS bioanalytical method that can perform simultaneous quantification of ENF and BNB in rat plasma and its application to a pharmacokinetic study. The mean result for Cmax for BNB and ENF was found to be 3.43 ± 0.46 and 16.42 ± 1.47 µg/mL achieved at 1.0 h for both drugs, respectively. The AUC0-∞ for BNB and ENF was found to be 18.16 ± 1.31 and 36.52 ± 3.92 µg/mL.h, respectively. On the other hand, the elimination half-life (t1/2kel) parameters for BNB and ENF in the rat plasma were found to be 3.39 ± 0.43 h and 2.48 ± 0.24 h, and these results are consistent with previously reported values.  相似文献

Bamboo is a widely distributed graminaceous plant in China and is a potential source of bioactive substances. Incidentally, bamboo’s fruit is rich in phytochemicals such as polyphenols and flavonoids, which are significant to human health. In this study, we identified the phenolic compounds of the fruit and investigated the antioxidant activities of Cephalostachyum fuchsianum Gamble (CFG) fruit polyphenols with in vitro and in vivo tests for the first time. UPLC–Q–TOF–MS/MS analysis results showed that the fruit contained 43 phenolic compounds, including 7 hydroxybenzoic acids, 12 flavonoids, 7 coumarins, 10 hydroxycinnamic acids, 1 terpenoid, and 5 lignans. The TPC of SP extracts was higher than that of IBPs extracts in FP and FF. The SP extracts in FP showed better antioxidant activities in vitro compared to those in FF. In addition, polyphenols from CFG fruits protected against H2O2-induced oxidative damage in HepG2 cells, and the protective effect of polyphenols in FP was superior to that in FF. The analysis results showed that CFG fruit has great potential in exploiting natural chemical substances, which can provide valuable pieces of information for the further development and utilization of CFG.  相似文献

Hydroxylated polychlorinated biphenyls (OH-PCBs) are a group of metabolites biotransformed from polychlorinated biphenyls by animals with higher toxicities than their parent compounds. The present work developed and validated an analytical method for determinating penta-, hexa-, and hepta-chlorine substituted OH-PCBs in animal-derived food based on ultra-performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC–MS/MS) with isotope-dilution. The target analytes were extracted with a 50% n-hexane/dichloromethane (v/v), purified by sulfuric acid-silica gel, and separated by 5% hydrated silica gel, achieving a final concentration of 100 times before injection to LC–MS/MS. The limits of detection (LOD) and quantification (LOQ) for target OH-PCBs were within the ranges of 0.003–0.010 μg/kg and 0.009–0.030 μg/kg, respectively. Average recoveries ranged between 76.7% and 116.5%, with relative standard deviations of less than 18.4%. The proposed method is simple, time-saving, sensitive, and accurate, making it a powerful tool for risk monitoring of OH-PCBs in animal-derived food.  相似文献

Floral fragrance is one of the most important characteristics of ornamental plants and plays a pivotal role in plant lifespan such as pollinator attraction, pest repelling, and protection against abiotic and biotic stresses. However, the precise determination of floral fragrance is limited. In the present study, the floral volatile compounds of six Hedychium accessions exhibiting from faint to highly fragrant were comparatively analyzed via gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS) and Electronic nose (E-nose). A total of 42 volatile compounds were identified through GC–MS analysis, including monoterpenoids (18 compounds), sesquiterpenoids (12), benzenoids/phenylpropanoids (8), fatty acid derivatives (2), and others (2). In Hedychium coronarium ‘ZS’, H. forrestii ‘Gaoling’, H. ‘Jin’, H. ‘Caixia’, and H. ‘Zhaoxia’, monoterpenoids were abundant, while sesquiterpenoids were found in large quantities in H. coccineum ‘KMH’. Hierarchical clustering analysis (HCA) divided the 42 volatile compounds into four different groups (I, II, III, IV), and Spearman correlation analysis showed these compounds to have different degrees of correlation. The E-nose was able to group the different accessions in the principal component analysis (PCA) corresponding to scent intensity. Furthermore, the pattern-recognition findings confirmed that the E-nose data validated the GC–MS results. The partial least squares (PLS) analysis between floral volatile compounds and sensors suggested that specific sensors were highly sensitive to terpenoids. In short, the E-nose is proficient in discriminating Hedychium accessions of different volatile profiles in both quantitative and qualitative aspects, offering an accurate and rapid reference technique for future applications.  相似文献
