The basic idea of the deformable or soft-body model of a molecule, which starts from a new definition of the reference configuration, is presented. It is shown that this model introduces into the Hamiltonian a new part that describes deformation energy of a molecule brought about by its rotation. The modified surface force-pore flow (MD-SF-PF) model is a successful and powerful model for prediction of reverse osmosis (RO) membrane separation. In the MD-SF-PF model, a suitable mass and momentum balances were made through the cylindrical micro porous of the membranes. A one-dimensional potential function in radial direction was used to attain the velocity profile. The obtained nonlinear equations were solved by orthogonal collocation method. In our model, extended MD-SF-PF (Ex-MD-SF-PF) model, the potential function of the MD-SF-PF model was developed as both radial and axial directions. Both Ex-MD-SF-PF and MD-SF-PF models were solved by finite volume and finite difference methods based on a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technique. The profiles of velocity and concentration were achieved and thereby the values of separation factors and fluxes for both models were obtained and were compared accordingly. This approach affected only at the end of pore, mainly on the concentration profile and slightly on the velocity profile.  相似文献

A novel diarylethene with a phenol-containing Schiff base unit was successfully synthesized and its multi-responsive photoswitching property was investigated by the stimulation of base/acid and light. The diarylethene showed not only normal photochromism by photoirradiation, but also abnormal photochromism by base and light stimuli. By the stimulation of sodium hydroxide, the absorption maximum of its open-ring isomer showed extraordinarily large redshift of 60 nm, accompanied with a notable color change from colorless to yellow. Subsequent irradiation with 297 nm light further caused a dramatic change in its structure transformation from the deprotonated open-ring isomer to the original closed-ring isomer. Similarly, its deprotonated closed-ring isomer returned to its original open-ring isomer upon irradiation with appropriate visible light. Its deprotonated forms could be restored by the stimulation of hydrochloric acid. Moreover, the diarylethene could be served as a fluorescence probe for recognition of Sn2+ with high selectivity.  相似文献

The equation for the Helmholtz free energy for systems of small anisotropic molecules and ions is deduced by substituting the complete expression for various potential energies (including repulsive, dispersive, electrostatic, and induced energies) into the perturbation expansion. The equation is applied to pure water. The relative dielectric constant is set at unity. Based on the equal chemical potentials of equilibrated vapor and liquid phases, the molecular parameters of water are regressed from the densities of saturated vapor in the temperature range of 0 to 370°C. The ARD of regression is 1.16%. These parameters are used to predict the heat of vaporization and densities of saturated vapor and liquid phases of water in the same temperature range. The ARDs of prediction are 4.5% and 9.8%, respectively. The equation is used to correlate the osmotic coefficients of twelve 1:1 electrolyte solutions. The relative dielectric constant is set at unity. The parameters (Soft-sphere diameter and dispersive constant) of seven ions (Na+, K+, Rb+, Cs+, Cl, Br, and I) are obtained. The total average absolute deviation between calculated and experimental values of the osmotic coefficient is 0.041. The parameters of ions can keep constant in different systems.  相似文献

A new immunoassay has been developed based on a commercially available anti-caffeine monoclonal antibody and a de novo synthesized tracer, using horseradish peroxidase and UV–visible detection. Caffeine, which is frequently found in surface waters, can be quantified with a relative error lower than 20% for concentrations above 0.025 μg L?1 (limit of quantitation, direct analysis). The limit of detection is 0.001 μg L?1 and can be reduced by solid-phase extraction (SPE). Moreover, with minor adaptations, the assay can be used to quantify caffeine in several beverages, shampoo, and caffeine tablets. The results obtained by ELISA correlate well with those from liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS–MS) for the tested matrices. Several surface waters from Berlin were analysed and all tested positive for caffeine, with concentrations higher than 0.030 μg L?1. In one run 66 samples can be analysed within 2 h.

A simple, accurate, and reproducible high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method has been developed and validated for the quantification of quercetin (QR) in rat plasma. The method involves a simple protein precipitation procedure to extract both QR and thymoquinone (TQ), the internal standard. The chromatographic analysis was achieved on a Shimadzu LC 20 A HPLC system equipped with a Supelcosil LC‐18 T C18 column and an isocratic mobile phase consisting of 0.3% trichloroacetic acid in water and acetonitrile HPLC‐grade (50:50, v /v) run at a flow rate of 0.9 mL/min for 13 min. The UV detection wavelength was set at 254 nm. The method exhibited good linearity (R 2 > 0.994) over the assayed concentration range (0.10–25 μg/mL) and demonstrated good intra‐day and inter‐day precision and accuracy (relative standard deviations and the deviation from predicted values were <20%). This method was also successfully applied for studying the pharmacokinetics of QR in rats following a single oral dose of QR to evaluate its pharmacokinetic parameters in rats.  相似文献

(H2NCHMeCH2NH2)(H2O)2HgCl2 (I) was synthesised, characterised and used for the fabrication of a potentiometric sensor for Hg2+ metal ions. Membrane having I as electroactive material, sodium tetraphenyl borate (NaTPB) as an anion excluder, dibutylamine (DBA) as plasticizer in PVC matrix in the percentage ratio of 10:3:150:150 (I:NaTPB:DBA:PVC) (w/w) exhibits a linear response to Hg2+ ions in a concentration range of 1.25 × 10−5 to 1.0 × 10−1 M having a detection limit of 8.9 × 10−6 with a slope of 25 ± 0.1 mV over the pH range 6.6-9.3. Selectivity coefficients for Hg(II) relative to a number of interfering ions were investigated. The electrode is highly selective for Hg2+ ions over a large number of mono-, bi-, and trivalent cations. Normal interferents like Ag+ and Cd2+ do not interfere in the working of the electrode. The electrode has also been used successfully in mixtures having a 10% (v/v) methanol and acetone content without showing any considerable change in working concentration range or slope. These electrodes have been found to be chemically inert showing a fast response time of 10 s and were used over a period of 4 months with good reproducibility (s = ±0.2). The electrode was used for determination of mercury in binary mixtures with 100% recovery and thus the proposed sensor can be used for real sample analysis.  相似文献

The structure of real glasses has been considered to be microheterogeneous, composed of clusters and connective tissue. Particles in the cluster are assumed to be highly correlated in positions. The tissue is considered to have a truly amorphous structure with its particles vibrating in highly anharmonic potentials. Glass transition is recognized as corresponding to the melting of clusters. A simple mathematical model has been developed which accounts for various known features associated with glass transition, such as range of glass transition temperature,T g, variation ofT g with pressure, etc. Expressions for configurational thermodynamic properties and transport properties of glass forming systems are derived from the model. The preparation of new Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) of antarctic matrices forms the backbone of an ongoing project in the framework of the Italian National Program for Antarctic Research. The first CRM of this kind (MURST-ISS-A1 Antarctic Marine Sediment) is already available. The second phase focuses on the certification of antarctic krill, a small shrimp extremely abundant in the Southern Ocean. The total mass of krill available for this purpose is approximately 44 kg and results from the combination of three different catches (Ross Sea, Marguerite Bay and Livingston Island, respectively). The quantification of the following elements in the raw mass appears to be affordable by current analytical techniques, values being in the range of (in μg/g) 0.11–0.30 for As, 0.03–0.12 for Cd, 0.06–0.23 for Cr, 6.1–21 for Cu, 5.7–7.6 for Fe, 0.005–0.008 for Hg, 0.7–1.2 for Mn, 0.013– 0.077 for Ni, 0.04–0.57 for Pb and 12–16 for Zn. On the other hand, the average values ascertained in freeze-dried krill are as a rule one order of magnitude higher, i.e., (in μg/g), 3.2 for As, 0.6 for Cd, 1.8 for Cr, 75 for Cu, 61 for Fe, 0.025 for Hg, 4.6 for Mn, 0.7 for Ni, 2.1 for Pb and 81 for Zn. The method involves a simple liquid–liquid extraction procedure to extract both SF and 7‐hyrdoxycoumarin, the internal standard. The chromatographic analysis was achieved on a Shimadzu LC 20A HPLC system equipped with a Zorbax Eclipse XDB C18 column and an isocratic mobile phase consisting of 10 mm KH2PO4 (pH 4.5) and acetonitrile HPLC grade (40:60, v/v) run at a flow rate of 1 mL/min for 10 min. The UV detection wavelength was set at 202 nm. The method exhibited good linearity (R2 > 0.999) over the assayed concentration range (0.05–2 μg/mL) and demonstrated good intra‐ and inter‐day precision and accuracy (relative standard deviations and the deviation from predicted values were <15%). This method was also successfully applied for studying the pharmacokinetics of SF in spontaneously hypertensive rats following single oral dietary doses of SF. Microcystins (MC) are cyanobacterial hepatotoxins responsible for animal-poisoning and human health incidents. Immunoassays provide a sensitive and fast means to detect these toxins, but cross-reactivity (CR) characteristic of different antibodies was variable. Here, we have produced and characterized a monoclonal antibody (Clone MC8C10) with highly specificity against the most frequent and most toxic variant of microcystins, MC-LR. MC8C10 is more specific against MC-LR among the reported antibodies before. The immunogen was synthesized from the modified MC-LR and bovine serum albumin (BSA). An indirect competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ic-ELISA) with MC8C10 was established to detect the MCs in waters, which showed highly specificity with MC-LR, and have a detection limit for MC-LR 0.1 μg L−1, the 50% inhibition concentration (IC50) for MC-LR was 1.8 ± 0.1 μg L−1 and the quantitative detection range was from 0.3 to 10 μg L−1. The [4-arginine] microcystins and the nodularin-R showed lower cross-reactivates (CR < 10%), and other MCs such as MC-LF and MC-LW are not recognized (CR < 10−4). The analysis results of real water samples with ic-ELISA showed that all the coefficients of variation were less than 15%, and the recovery was (100.3 ± 5.9)%. So the highly specific ic-ELISA will commendably suit for sensitive analysis for MC-LR in surface water as well as drinking water.  相似文献

A fluorescent probe 1 for Hg2+ based on a rhodamine-coumarin conjugate was designed and synthesized. Probe 1 exhibits high sensitivity and selectivity for sensing Hg2+, and about a 24-fold increase in fluorescence emission intensity is observed upon binding excess Hg2+ in 50% water/ethanol buffered at pH 7.24. The fluorescence response to Hg2+ is attributed to the 1:1 complex formation between probe 1 and Hg2+, which has been utilized as the basis for the selective detection of Hg2+. Besides, probe 1 was also found to show a reversible dual chromo- and fluorogenic response toward Hg2+ likely due to the chelation-induced ring opening of rhodamine spirolactam. The analytical performance characteristics of the proposed Hg2+-sensitive probe were investigated. The linear response range covers a concentration range of Hg2+ from 8.0 × 10−8 to 1.0 × 10−5 mol L−1 and the detection limit is 4.0 × 10−8 mol L−1. The determination of Hg2+ in both tap and river water samples displays satisfactory results.  相似文献

An efficient enzyme model exhibiting enantioselective esterase activity was prepared by using molecular imprinting techniques. The enantiomerically pure phosphonic monoesters 4 L and 5 L were synthesized as stable transition-state analogues. They were used as templates connected by stoichiometric noncovalent interactions to two equivalents of the amidinium binding site monomer 1. After polymerization and removal of the template, the polymers were efficient catalysts for the hydrolysis of certain nonactivated amino acid phenylesters (2 L, 2 D, 3 L, 3 D) depending on the template used. Imprinted catalyst IP4 (imprinted with 4 L) enhanced the hydrolysis of the corresponding substrate 2 L by a factor of 325 relative to that of a buffered solution. Relative to a control polymer containing the same functionalities, prepared without template 4 L, the enhancement was still about 80-fold, showing the highest imprinting effect up to now. In cross-selectivity experiments a strong substrate selectivity of higher than three was found despite small differences in the structure of the substrate and template. Plots of initial velocities of the hydrolysis versus substrate concentration showed typical Michaelis-Menten kinetics with saturation behavior. From these curves, the Michaelis constant K(M) and the catalytic constant k(cat) can be calculated. The enantioselectivity shown in these values is most interesting. The ratio of the catalytic efficiency k(cat)/K(M), between the hydrolysis of 2 L- and 2 D-substrate with IP4, is 1.65. This enantioselectivity derives from both selective binding of the substrate (K(M)L/K(M)D=0.82), and from selective formation of the transition state (k(cat)L/k(cat)D=1.36). Thus, these catalysts give good catalysis as well as high imprinting and substrate selectivity. Strong competitive inhibition is caused by the template used in imprinting. This behavior is also quite similar to the behavior of natural enzymes, for which these catalysts are good models.  相似文献

This work evaluates the operational stability of six different supported liquid membranes (SLMs) based on ionic liquids (ILs). [bmim+][PF6], [bmim+][BF4] and [bmim+][NTf2] were used as supporting phase in Nylon® and Mitex® membranes. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) combined with energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis was used to characterize the membrane surface morphologically and examine the global chemical composition of the membranes and the distribution of the ILs within them.

Study of the freshly impregnated membranes showed that, in all cases, the ILs were homogeneously distributed, mostly filling the pores of the membranes although, in some cases, a small amount of excess of IL was located on the external membrane surface. Stability tests were performed by keeping the respective impregnated membranes immersed for a week in a diffusion cell including two independent compartments and using n-hexane/n-hexane as the respective feed and receiving phases. The SEM–EDX study of membranes after continuous operation showed that the ILs were still retained within the membrane pores and only small losses of the IL initially located on the external surface were observed. These observations are in complete agreement with the ionic losses determined by mass balance.  相似文献

Fused silica capillary columns with internal diameters from 100 to 25 μm were coated with SE-54 and evaluated under supercritical fluid chromatographic conditions using carbon dioxide as mobile phase. Experimental results compared well with theoretical predictions. At ten times the optimum mobile phase velocity and for a capacity factor, k of 3, efficiencies of 2300 to 5600 plates m?1 were obtained for column diameters of 100 to 25 μm, respectively.  相似文献
