In this article, we study the problem of robust H performance analysis for a class of uncertain Markovian jump systems with mixed overlapping delays. Our aim is to present a new delay‐dependent approach such that the resulting closed‐loop system is stochastically stable and satisfies a prescribed H performance level χ. The jumping parameters are modeled as a continuous‐time, finite‐state Markov chain. By constructing new Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functionals, some novel sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the stochastic stability of the equilibrium point in the mean‐square. Numerical examples show that the obtained results in this article is less conservative and more effective. This article addresses the issue of robust sampled‐data control for a class of uncertain mechanical systems with input delays and linear fractional uncertainties which appear in all the mass, damping, and stiffness matrices. Then, a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional is constructed to obtain sufficient conditions under which the uncertain mechanical system is robustly, asymptotically stable with disturbance attenuation level about its equilibrium point for all admissible uncertainties. More precisely, Schur complement and Jenson's integral inequality are utilized to substantially simplify the derivation of the main results. In particular, a set of sampled‐data controller is designed in terms of the solution of certain linear matrix inequalities that can be solved effectively using available MATLAB software. Finally, a numerical example with simulation result is provided to show the effectiveness and less conservativeness of the proposed sampled‐data control scheme. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper investigates the problem of exponential H synchronization of discrete‐time chaotic neural networks with time delays and stochastic perturbations. First, by using the Lyapunov‐Krasovskii (Lyapunov) functional and output feedback controller, we establish the H performance of exponential synchronization in the mean square of master‐slave systems, which is analyzed using a matrix inequality approach. Second, the parameters of a desired output feedback controller can be achieved by solving a linear matrix inequality. Finally, 2 simulated examples are presented to show the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this article, we consider the problem of robust dissipativity and passivity analysis for a class of general discrete‐time recurrent neural networks (NNs) with time‐varying delays. The NN under consideration is subject to time‐varying and norm bounded parameter uncertainties. By the latest free‐weighting matrix method, an appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and using stochastic analysis technique a sufficient condition is established to ensure that the NNs under consideration is strictly ‐dissipative. The derived conditions are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities. This article is devoted to designing linear sliding surface and adaptive sliding mode controller for a class of singular time‐delay systems with parametric uncertainties and external disturbance. In terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), a sufficient criteria of H performance, and admissibility for considered sliding motion restricted to linear sliding surface is achieved, and the controller which guarantees the finite‐time reachability of the predesigned sliding surface is then developed, respectively. In this article, the problem of robust tracking control for a class of uncertain Markovian jump systems with interval time‐varying delay is investigated. Based on an augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional with triple integral term, partitioning the delay's lower bound and reciprocally convex approach, delay‐dependent conditions for the existence of desired controller are achieved. Meanwhile, stability criteria for delayed Markovian jump systems are also provided with less conservativeness and less matrix variables than some recent results. This paper is concerned with the exponential stabilization and L2‐gain for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear systems with interval time‐varying delay. Based on Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional method, novel delay‐dependent sufficient conditions of exponential stabilization for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear delay systems are developed under an average dwell time scheme. Then, novel criteria to ensure the exponential stabilization with weighted L2‐gain performance for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear delay systems are established. Furthermore, an effective method is proposed for the designing of a stabilizing feedback controller with L2‐gain performance. This article is concerned with the nonfragile filtering for wireless‐networked systems with energy constraint. To achieve the energy‐efficient goal, the local measurement is first sampled by nonuniform sampling, then we only choose one measurement to transmit it to the remote filter. In the filter design, the random occurring filter gain variation problem is taken into account. A new stochastic switched system model is presented to capture the nonuniform sampling, the measurement size reduction, and the random filter gain phenomena. Based on the switched system approach, stochastic system analysis, and Lyapunov stability theory, a sufficient condition is presented such that the filtering error system is exponentially stable in the mean‐square sense and a prescribed performance level is also guaranteed. This paper is concerned with the exponential stability for the discrete‐time bidirectional associative memory neural networks with time‐varying delays. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, some novel delay‐dependent sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee the globally exponential stability of the addressed neural networks. In order to obtain less conservative results, an improved Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional is constructed and the reciprocally convex approach and free‐weighting matrix method are employed to give the upper bound of the difference of the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional. This paper studies the robust partially mode‐dependent H filtering for nonhomogeneous Markovian jump neural networks with additive gain perturbations. The discrete time‐varying jump transition probability matrix is considered to be a polytope set. A partially mode‐dependent filter with additive gain perturbations is constructed to increase the robustness of the filter, which is subjects to H performance index. Based on the Lyapunov function approach, sufficient conditions are established such that the filtering error system is robustly stochastically stable. The efficiency of the new technique is illustrated by an illustrative example and a biological network example.  相似文献

This article investigates the robust reliable control problem for a class of uncertain switched neutral systems with mixed interval time‐varying delays. The system under study involves state time‐delay, parameter uncertainties and possible actuator failures. In particular, the parameter uncertainties is assumed to satisfy linear fractional transformation formulation and the involved state delay are assumed to be randomly time varying which is modeled by introducing Bernoulli distributed sequences. The main objective of this article is to obtain robust reliable feedback controller design to achieve the exponential stability of the closed‐loop system in the presence of for all admissible parameter uncertainties. The proposed results not only applicable for the normal operating case of the system, but also in the presence of certain actuator failures. By constructing an appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, a new set of criteria is derived for ensuring the robust exponential stability of the closed‐loop switched neutral system. More precisely, zero inequality approach, Wirtinger's based inequality, convex combination technique and average dwell time approach are used to simplify the derivation in the main results. Finally, numerical examples with simulation result are given to illustrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed design approach. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This article investigates the finite‐time stability, stabilization, and boundedness problems for switched nonlinear systems with time‐delay. Unlike the existing average dwell‐time technique based on time‐dependent switching strategy, largest region function strategy, that is, state‐dependent switching control strategy is adopted to design the switching signal, which does not require the switching instants to be given in advance. Some sufficient conditions which guarantee finite‐time stable, stabilization, and boundedness of switched nonlinear systems with time‐delay are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities. This paper is concerned with the problem of μ‐stability of impulsive differential systems with unbounded time‐varying delays and nonlinear perturbations. Some μ‐stability criteria, which depend on the range of distributed delay and the decay rate of discrete delay (not the range), are derived by using Lyapunov–Krasovski functional method. Those criteria are expressed in the form of linear matrix inequalities and they can easily be checked. Two numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results. This article examines the reliable L2 – L control design problem for a class of continuous‐time linear systems subject to external disturbances and mixed actuator failures via input delay approach. Also, due to the occurrence of nonlinear circumstances in the control input, a more generalized and practical actuator fault model containing both linear and nonlinear terms is constructed to the addressed control system. Our attention is focused on the design of the robust state feedback reliable sampled‐data controller that guarantees the robust asymptotic stability of the resulting closed‐loop system with an L2 – L prescribed performance level γ > 0, for all the possible actuator failure cases. For this purpose, by constructing an appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF) and utilizing few integral inequality techniques, some novel sufficient stabilization conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) are established for the considered system. Moreover, the established stabilizability conditions pave the way for designing the robust reliable sampled‐data controller as the solution to a set of LMIs. Finally, as an example, a wheeled mobile robot trailer model is considered to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control design scheme. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the robust exponential stability of discrete‐time uncertain impulsive neural networks with time‐varying delay. By using Lyapunov functions together with Razumikhin technique, some new robust exponential stability criteria are presented. The obtained results show that the robust stability can be retained under certain impulsive perturbations for the neural network, which has the robust stability property. The obtained results also show that impulses can robustly stabilize the neural network, which does not have the robust stability property. Some examples, together with their simulations, are also given to show the effectiveness and the advantage of the presented results. It should be noted that the impulsive robust exponential stabilization result for discrete‐time neural network with time‐varying delay is given for the first time. This paper investigates the problem of observer design for nonlinear systems. By using differential mean value theorem, which allows transforming a nonlinear error dynamics into a linear parameter varying system, and based on Lyapunov stability theory, an approach of observer design for a class of nonlinear systems with time‐delay is proposed. The sufficient conditions, which guarantee the estimation error to asymptotically converge to zero, are given. Furthermore, an adaptive observer design for a class of nonlinear system with unknown parameter is considered. A method of H adaptive observer design is presented for this class of nonlinear systems; the sufficient conditions that guarantee the convergence of estimation error and the computing method for observer gain matrix are given. In this article, we present several results on global exponential stability of a fractional‐order cellular neural network with impulses and with time‐varying and distributed delay. By using the Lyapunov‐like function methods in conjunction with the Razumikhin techniques, we derive sufficient condition for the exponential stability with an exponential convergence rate. The obtained outcomes of our present investigation significantly extend and generalize the corresponding results existing in the current literature. Finally, we give 2 illustrative examples to demonstrate the theoretical findings.  相似文献

This article focuses on the robust sampled‐data control for a class of uncertain switched neutral systems based on the average dwell‐time approach. In particular, the system is considered with probabilistic input delay using sampled state vectors, which are described by the stochastic variables with a Bernoulli distributed white sequence and time‐varying norm‐bounded uncertainties. By constructing a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional which involves the lower and upper bounds of the delay, a new set of sufficient conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities for ensuring the robust exponential stability of the uncertain switched neutral system about its equilibrium point. Moreover, based on the stability criteria, a state feedback sampled‐data control law is designed for the considered system. In this paper, the Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy model representation is extended to the state estimation of uncertain Markovian jumping Hopfield neural networks with mixed interval time‐varying delays. The main purpose is to estimate the neuron states, through available output measurements such that for all admissible time delays, the dynamics of the estimation error are globally asmptotically stable in the mean square. Based on the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and stochastic analysis approach, several delay‐dependent robust state estimators for such T–S fuzzy Markovian jumping Hopfield neural networks can be achieved by solving a linear matrix inequality (LMI), which can be easily facilitated by using some standard numerical packages.
