Motivated by some problems in Celestial Mechanics that combines quasihomogeneous potential in the anisotropic space, we investigate the existence of several families of first kind symmetric periodic solutions for a family of planar perturbed Kepler problem. In addition, we give sufficient conditions for the existence of first kind periodic solutions and also we characterize its type of stability. As an application of this general situation, we discuss the existence of symmetric periodic solutions for the anisotropic Kepler problem plus a generalized anisotropic perturbation, (shortly, p-AKPQ problem) and for the Kepler problem plus a generalized anisotropic perturbation (shortly, p-KPQ problem), as continuation of circular orbits of the two-dimensional Kepler problem. To get this objective, we consider different types of perturbations and then we apply our main result.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the existence of weak solutions to the initial and boundary value problem of a class of nonlinear degenerate parabolic equations in non-divergence form. Applying the method of parabolic regularization, we prove the existence of weak solutions to the problem. By carefully analyzing the approximate solutions to the problem, we make a series of estimates to the solutions and prove the weak convergence of the approximation solution sequence. Finally we testify the existence of weak solutions to the problem.  相似文献

To the best of our knowledge, this paper is the first one to suggest formulating the inventory replenishment problem as a bi-objective decision problem where, in addition to minimizing the sum of order and inventory holding costs, we should minimize the required storage space. Also, it develops two solution methods, called the exploratory method (EM) and the two-population evolutionary algorithm (TPEA), to solve the problem. The proposed methods generate a near-Pareto front of solutions with respect to the considered objectives. As the inventory replenishment problem have never been formulated as a bi-objective problem and as the literature does not provide any method to solve the considered bi-objective problem, we compared the results of the EM to three versions of the TPEA. The results obtained suggest that although the TPEA produces good near-Pareto solutions, the decision maker can apply a combination of both methods and choose among all the obtained solutions.  相似文献

We propose a novel approach to modeling advertising dynamics for a firm operating over a distributed market domain based on controlled partial differential equations of the diffusion type. Using our model, we consider a general type of finite-horizon profit maximization problem in a monopoly setting. By reformulating this profit maximization problem as an optimal control problem in infinite dimensions, we derive sufficient conditions for the existence of its optimal solutions under general profit functions, as well as state and control constraints, and provide a general characterization of the optimal solutions. Sharper, feedback-form characterizations of the optimal solutions are obtained for two variants of the general problem. In this paper we give sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions of a problem of parametric optimization. We use continuity with respect to a functional parameter of weak solutions of a variational problem in a Hilbert space. We consider a problem of optimization with the control in coefficients of linear parabolic equation as an example. Using results of Spagnolo we characterize the closure of the reachable set. Finally, we construct an example of an optimization problem with the control in coefficients of a parabolic equation which does not have an optimal solution.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove the existence of solutions for the minimization problem of the shell weight for a given minimal frequency of the shell vibrations as well as for the maximization problem of the minimal frequency for a given shell weight. We consider an optimal control problem governed by an eigenvalue problem for a system of differential equations with variable coefficients. The form of the shell is considered as a control. Some of the coefficients are non-measurable. Earlier, we introduced certain special weighted functional spaces. By using these spaces, we establish the continuity of the considered minimal frequency functional and obtain the existence of solutions of both optimal control problems. At the end, we prove the Lipschitz continuity of the eigenvalue problem.  相似文献

We prove that under natural assumptions on the data strong solutions in Sobolev spaces of semilinear parabolic equations in divergence form involving measure on the right-hand side may be represented by solutions of some generalized backward stochastic differential equations. As an application we provide stochastic representation of strong solutions of the obstacle problem by means of solutions of some reflected backward stochastic differential equations. To prove the latter result we use a stochastic homographic approximation for solutions of the reflected backward equation. The approximation may be viewed as a stochastic analogue of the homographic approximation for solutions to the obstacle problem.  相似文献

In the paper we are giving the new method for searching periodic solutions of periodic differential systems. For this we construct a differential system with the same Reflecting Function as the Reflecting Function of the given system and with a known periodic solution. Then the initial data of the periodic solutions of this two systems coincide. In such a way the problem of existance periodic solutions goes to the Cauchy problem.  相似文献

We study a free boundary problem describing the propagation of laminar flames. The problem arises as the limit of a singular perturbation problem. We introduce the notion of viscosity solutions for the problem to show the maximum principle-type property of the solutions. Using this property we show the uniform convergence of the approximating solutions and the uniqueness of the viscosity solution under several geometric conditions on the initial data.  相似文献

We use convex risk measures to assess unhedged risks for American-style contingent claims in a continuous-time non-Markovian economy using reflected backward stochastic differential equations (RBSDEs). A two-stage approach is adopted to evaluate the risk. We formulate the evaluation problem as an optimal stopping-control problem and discuss the problem using reflected BSDEs. The convex risk measures are represented as solutions of RBSDEs. In the Markov case, we relate the RBSDE solutions to the unique viscosity solutions of related obstacle problems for parabolic partial differential equations.  相似文献

For a one-dimensional wave equation with a weak nonlinearity, we study the Darboux boundary value problem in angular domains, for which we analyze the existence and uniqueness of a global solution and the existence of local solutions as well as the absence of global solutions.  相似文献

This article considers the bilevel linear programming problem with interval coefficients in both objective functions. We propose a cutting plane method to solve such a problem. In order to obtain the best and worst optimal solutions, two types of cutting plane methods are developed based on the fact that the best and worst optimal solutions of this kind of problem occur at extreme points of its constraint region. The main idea of the proposed methods is to solve a sequence of linear programming problems with cutting planes that are successively introduced until the best and worst optimal solutions are found. Finally, we extend the two algorithms proposed to compute the best and worst optimal solutions of the general bilevel linear programming problem with interval coefficients in the objective functions as well as in the constraints.  相似文献

In this paper, we study an optimal control problem for the mixed boundary value problem for an elastic body with quasistatic evolution of an internal damage variable. We suppose that the evolution of microscopic cracks and cavities responsible for the damage is described by a nonlinear parabolic equation. A density of surface traction p acting on a part of boundary of an elastic body Ω is taken as a boundary control. Because the initial boundary value problem of this type can exhibit the Lavrentieff phenomenon and non‐uniqueness of weak solutions, we deal with the solvability of this problem in the class of weak variational solutions. Using the convergence concept in variable spaces and following the direct method in calculus of variations, we prove the existence of optimal and approximate solutions to the optimal control problem under rather general assumptions on the quasistatic evolution of damage. The main purpose of this paper is to deal with almost automorphic and asymptotically almost automorphic solutions of the initial value problem as well as the nonlinear Volterra integral equation in Banach spaces. We obtain a collection of existence results of such solutions to these equations. We investigate also a topological structure of such solution sets. Moreover, we prove Aronszajn-type theorems for solutions of the initial value problem as well as the nonlinear Volterra integral equation, defined on the whole real line.  相似文献

Many authors have discussed the Tricomi problem for some second order equations of mixed type, which has important applications in gas dynamics. In particular, Bers proposed the Tricomi problem for Chaplygin equations in multiply connected domains [L. Bers, Mathematical Aspects of Subsonic and Transonic Gas Dynamics, Wiley, New York, 1958]. And Rassias proposed the exterior Tricomi problem for mixed equations in a doubly connected domain and proved the uniqueness of solutions for the problem [J.M. Rassias, Lecture Notes on Mixed Type Partial Differential Equations, World Scientific, Singapore, 1990]. In the present paper, we discuss the general Tricomi-Rassias problem for generalized Chaplygin equations. This is one general oblique derivative problem that includes the exterior Tricomi problem as a special case. We first give the representation of solutions of the general Tricomi-Rassias problem, and then prove the uniqueness and existence of solutions for the problem by a new method. In this paper, we shall also discuss another general oblique derivative problem for generalized Chaplygin equations.  相似文献

We study a coupled nonlinear boundary value problem which has been shown to have applications to fluid flow and heat transfer in a fluid film over a stretching surface for set values of the model parameters (one of which determines the size of the problem domain). For arbitrary values of these parameters we are able to establish the existence and uniqueness of a class of monotone solutions. Perturbation solutions are then constructed and used to approximate certain invariants for the solutions. We then study a related boundary value problem formed by imposing an additional boundary condition on one of the governing equations (which results in an ill-posed problem), and we arrive at conditions allowing for solutions to this four-parameter problem to agree with the solutions to the three-parameter problem.  相似文献

In this article, we first give the representation of solutions for the oblique derivative problem of mixed (Lavrentév-Bitsadze) equations in two connected domains, afterwards prove the uniqueness of solutions of the above problem. Moreover, we prove the solvability of oblique derivative problem for quasilinear mixed (Lavrentév-Bitsadze) equations of second order, and obtain a priori estimates of solutions of the above problem. The above problem is an open problem proposed by Rassias.  相似文献

Solving the class of second order iterative-difference equations is a difficult problem, proposed as an open problem in Brillouët-Belluot [Aequationes Math. 61 (3) (2001), p. 304]. In this paper, we use three methods to approach such a class of equations, finding their affine solutions, proving the existence of their bounded continuous solutions and constructing their continuous and piecewise continuous solutions.  相似文献

In this short note we study special unsteady flows of a fluid whose viscosity depends on both the pressure and the shear rate. Here we consider an interesting dependence of the viscosity on the pressure and the shear rate; a power-law of the shear rate wherein the exponent depends on the pressure. The problem is important from the perspective of fluid dynamics in that we obtain solutions to a technologically relevant problem, and also from the point of view of mathematics as the analysis of the problem rests on the theory of spaces with variable exponents. We use the theory to prove the existence of solutions to generalizations of Stokes’ first and second problem.  相似文献

We establish a general existence theory for the Cauchy problem associated with a scalar conservation law in one-space dimension. The flux-function is assumed to be nonconvex and we consider nonclassical entropy solutions selected by a kinetic relation. To solve the Cauchy problem, we construct a sequence of approximate solutions using a wave-front tracking scheme. The main difficulty is deriving a uniform estimate on the total variation of the approximate solutions. This is achieved here by introducing a generalized total variation functional, which is decreasing in time and, additionally, reduces to the standard total variation functional when the solutions contain only classical shocks. This functional seems sufficiently robust to be useful for systems as well.  相似文献
