Abstract

Cobalt hexacyanoferrate (CoHCF) film was formed on multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) modified gold electrode by electrodeposition from 0.5 M KCl solution containing CoCl2 and K3Fe(CN)6. The electrochemical behavior and the electrocatalytic property of the modified electrode were investigated. Compared with CoHCF/gold electrode, the CoHCF/MWNTs/gold electrode exhibits greatly improved stability and enhanced electrocatalytic activity toward the oxidation of thiosulfate. A linear range from 5.0×10?5 to 6.5×10?3 M (r=0.9990) for thiosulfate detection at the CoHCF/MWNTs/gold electrode was obtained, with a detection limit of 2.0×10?5 M (S/N=3).  相似文献

Increasing attention has been paid to layered double hydroxide (LDH) film modified electrode attributing to its desirable properties for fabrication of electrochemical sensor. In this paper, the Zn‐Al LDH film modified glassy carbon electrode was characterized by electrochemical methods. The enhanced electrocatalytic currents and well‐separated potentials for epinephrine (EP) and uric acid (UA) were observed at the as‐prepared electrode. Under selected condition, the differential pulse voltammetry response of the modified electrode to EP (or UA) shows a linear concentration range of 0.5 μM to 0.3 mM (or 2 μM to 0.4 mM) in the presence of 10.0 μM UA (or 20.0 μM EP). At a signal‐to‐noise ratio of 3, the calculated limits of detection are 0.13 μM and 0.66 μM, respectively. The proposed method has been performed to successfully detect EP and UA in analysis of real samples, such as in EP injection solution and human urine samples.  相似文献

A strategy is presented for doping graphene into layered double hydroxide films (LDHs) as a means of improving charge transport of the LDH film in a modified glassy carbon electrode. This result in an enhanced electrocatalytic current for dopamine (DA) and a good separation of the potentials of DA, uric acid and ascorbic acid. Under selected conditions, the square wave voltammetric response of the electrode to DA is linear in the concentration range from 1.0 to 199???M even in the presence of 0.1?mM ascorbic acid, and the detection limit is 0.3???M at a signal-to-noise ratio of 3. The method was applied to the determination of DA in pharmaceutical injections with satisfactory results.

Single‐walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs) were dispersed into DMSO, and a SWCNTs‐film coated glassy carbon electrode was achieved via evaporating the solvent. The results indicated that CNT modified glassy carbon electrode exhibited efficiently electrocatalytic reduction for ranitidine and metronidazole with relatively high sensitivity, stability and life time. Under conditions of cyclic voltammetry, the potential for reduction of selected analytes is lowered by approximately 150 mV and current is enhanced significantly (7 times) in comparison to the bare glassy carbon electrode. The electrocatalytic behavior is further exploited as a sensitive detection scheme for these analytes determinations by hydrodynamic amperometry. Under optimized condition in amperometric method the concentration calibration range, detection limit and sensitivity were about, 0.1–200 μM, detection limit (S/N=3) 6.3×10?8 mol L?1 and sensitivity 40 nA/μM for metronidazole and 0.3–270 μM 7.73×10?8 mol L?1 and 25 nA/μM for ranitidine. In addition, the ability of the modified electrode for simultaneous determination of ranitidine and metronidazole was evaluated. The proposed method was successfully applied to ranitidine and metronidazole determination in tablets. The analytical performance of this sensor has been evaluated for detection of these analytes in serum as a real sample.  相似文献

Flow injection analysis (FIA) of sulfide is presented using a screen‐printed carbon electrode modified with a cinder/tetracyano nickelate hybrid (designated as cinder/NiTcSPE). Hybridization of NiTc was achieved in iron‐enriched industrial waste cinder material through the bimetallic formation of FeIII[NiII(CN)4]. The electrocatalytic oxidation of sulfide is mediated by the higher oxidation state of Ni in this hybrid‐bimetallic complex. The system shows a detection limit (S/N=3) of 0.06 μM and a linear working range up to 1 mM in pH 10, 0.1 M KCl solution. Taking into account the relatively low volatility of the analyte in alkaline conditions, the system is ideally suited for the accurate detection of sulfide. The response of the electrode to sulfide is highly reproducible, thereby offering the potential development of a disposable amperometric sensor for sulfide. Selective detection of sulfide in cigarette smoke is presented in this study as an example of a real sample application.  相似文献

Electrochemical behavior of dopamine at the RuO2‐modified vertically aligned carbon nanotubes electrode was investigated by cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The RuO2‐modified carbon nanotube electrode showed higher electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of dopamine than the MWNTs electrode in 0.10 M phosphate buffer solution. At an applied potential of +0.4 V, the RuO2/MWNTs electrode exhibited a wide detection range up to 3.6×10?3 M with detection limit of 6.0×10?8 M (signal/noise=3) for dopamine determination. Meanwhile, the optimized sensor for dopamine displayed a sensitivity of 83.8 μA mM?1 and response time of 5 s with addition of 0.20 mM dopamine. In addition, DPV experiment revealed that interfering species such as ascorbic acid and uric acid could be effectively avoided. The RuO2/MWNTs electrode presents stable, highly sensitive, favorable selectivity and fast amperometric response of dopamine.  相似文献

In this work, the modified carbon paste electrode (CPE) with an imidazole derivative 2‐(2,3 dihydroxy phenyl) 4‐methyl benzimidazole (DHPMB) and reduced graphene oxide (RGO) was used as an electrochemical sensor for electrocatalytic oxidation of N‐acetyl‐L‐cysteine (NAC). The electrocatalytic oxidation of N‐acetyl‐L‐cysteine on the modified electrode surface was then investigated, indicating a reduction in oxidative over voltage and an intensive increase in the current of analyte. The scan rate potential, the percentages of DHPMB and RGO, and the pH solution were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, some parameters such as the electron transfer coefficient (α) between electrode and modifier, and the electron transfer rate constant) ks) in a 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution (pH=7.0) were obtained by cyclic voltammetry method. The diffusion coefficient of species (D) 3.96×10?5 cm2 s?1 was calculated by chronoamperometeric technique and the Tafel plot was used to calculate α (0.46) for N‐ acetyl‐L‐cysteine. Also, by using differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) technique, two linear dynamic ranges of 2–18 µM and 18–1000 µM with the detection limit of 61.0 nM for N‐acetyl‐L‐cysteine (NAC) were achieved. In the co‐existence system of N‐acetyl‐L‐cysteine (NAC), uric acid (UA) and dopamine (DA), the linear response ranges for NAC, UA, and DA are 6.0–400.0 µM, 5.0–50.0 µM and 2.0–20.0 µM, respectively and the detection limits based on (C=3sb/m) are 0.067 µM, 0.246 µM and 0.136 µM, respectively. The obtained results indicated that DHPMB/RGO/CPE is applicable to separate NAC, uric acid (UA) and dopamine (DA) oxidative peaks, simultaneously. For analytic performance, the mentioned modified electrode was used for determination of NAC in the drug samples with acceptable results, and the simultaneous determination of NAC, UA and DA oxidative peaks was investigated in the serum solutions, too.  相似文献

A sensitive and selective electrochemical method for the determination of dopamine (DA) was developed using a 4‐(2‐Pyridylazo)‐Resorcinol (PAR) polymer film modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The PAR polymer film modified electrode shows excellent electrocatalytic activity toward the oxidation of DA in a phosphate buffer solution (PBS) (pH 4.0). The linear range of 5.0×10?6–3.0×10?5 M and detection limit of 2.0×10?7 M were observed. Simultaneous detection of AA, DA and UA has also been demonstrated on the modified electrode. This work provides a simple and easy approach to selective detection of DA in the presence of AA and UA.  相似文献

The in‐site functionalization of 4‐aminothiophenol (4‐ATP) self‐assembled monolayer on gold electrode at physiological pH yields a redox active monolayer of 4′‐mercapto‐N‐phenylquinone diimine (MNPD). The functionalized electrode exhibits excellent electrocatalytic responses towards dopamine (DA) and ascorbic acid (AA), reducing the overpotentials by about 0.22 V and 0.34 V, respectively, with greatly enhanced current responses. Due to its different catalytic activities toward DA and AA, the modified electrode resolves the overlapping voltammetric responses of DA and AA into two well‐defined voltammetric peaks by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), which can be used for the simultaneous determination of these species in a mixture. The catalytic peak current obtained from DPV was linearly related to DA and AA concentration in the ranges of 5.0×10?6?1.25×10?4 M and 8.0×10?6?1.3×10?4 M with correlation coefficient of 0.999 and 0.998, respectively. The detective limits (3σ) for DA and AA were found to be 1.2×10?6 M and 2.4×10?6 M, respectively. The modified electrode shows good sensitivity, selectivity and stability, and has been applied to the determination of DA and AA simultaneously in samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Thin toluidine blue (TBO) and zinc oxide (ZnO) hybrid films have been grown on glassy carbon electrode (GCE) and indium tin oxide coated (SnO2) glass electrodes by using cyclic voltammetry (CV). Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images revealed spherical and beads‐like shape of highly oriented TBO/ZnO hybrid films. Energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS) results declared that the films composed mainly of Zn and O. Moreover, TBO/ZnO hybrid films modified electrode is electrochemically active, dye molecules were not easily leached out from the ZnO matrix and the hybrid films can be considered for potential applications as sensor for amperometric determination of reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) at 0.0 V. A linear correlation between electrocatalytic current and NADH concentration was found to be in the range between 25 μM and 100 μM in phosphate buffer. In addition, we observed that dopamine, ascorbic acid and uric acid are not interference in amperometric detection of NADH in this proposed method. In addition, TBO/ZnO hybrid film modified electrode was highly stable and its response to the NADH also remained relentless.  相似文献

Column electrodes pretreated through oxidation–reduction cycles were traditionally used in electrochemical surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). In this study, a disposable screen‐printed carbon electrode was introduced into in situ electrochemical SERS through the electrodeposition of dendritic gold/silver nanoparticles (Au/AgNPs) onto the surface of the carbon working electrode to induce the SERS enhancement effect on the electrode. Scanning electron microscopy images showed that dendritic Au/AgNPs nanostructures could be fabricated under appropriate electrodeposition conditions and could present a minimum SERS factor of 4.25 × 105. Furthermore, the absorbed behavior of 4‐mercaptopyridine was investigated under different potentials. The adsorption configuration was inferred to transform from ‘vertical’ to ‘lying‐flat’. The proposed new electrode combined with a portable Raman spectrometer could be useful in the identifying products or intermediates during electrochemical synthesis or electrochemical catalysis in in situ electrochemical SERS. A new modified carbon‐ceramic electrode was prepared by incorporating TiO2 nanoparticle into sol‐gel network by accompanying apple tissue. A mixture of fine graphite powder with 15 wt% of TiO2 nanoparticle was used for the preparation of the carbon matrix and finally modification with a known amount weighted of apple tissue. The apple tissue containing polyphenol oxidase enzyme acts as molecular recognition element. The electrocatalytic oxidation of dopamine was investigated on the surface of the nanobiocomposite modified carbon‐ceramic electrode using cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry and amperometry techniques. Effect of pH, scan rate, TiO2 percentage on the response of modified electrode was studied. The prepared modified electrode presented a linear range for dopamine from 5.0×10?6 to 1.2×10?3 M in buffered solutions with pH 7.4 by amperometry. The detection limit was 3.41×10?6 M dopamine. The response of the modified carbon‐ceramic electrode and unmodified carbon‐ceramic electrode was compared.  相似文献

Increasing demand of alternative energy sources leads to the development of new electrocatalytic materials for fuel cells. In present work, we report the synthesis of rGO/PEDOT : PSS (reduced graphene oxide/ Poly (3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) : Polystyrene sulfonate) nanocomposite by in‐situ polymerization method using EDOT as precursor and the nanocomposite is used as anode catalyst for methanol oxidation. Structural and chemical characterizations such as XRD, FTIR and Micro‐Raman confirm the formation of the nanocomposite. From TEM image, growth of nanofibrous PEDOT : PSS on rGO nanosheets is observed. Electrochemical characterizations of rGO/PEDOT : PSS/ITO electrode are performed by Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and Chronoamperometry (CA) measurements. Methanol oxidation reactions are performed in 0.5 M NaOH solution. The anodic current of the nanocomposite coated ITO is found be 37.5 mA at 0.59 V due to methanol electro‐oxidation and retentivity of the electrode is 92 % of initial scan after 800 cycles. The chronoamperometric results reveal that the nanocomposite modified electrode exhibits better stability with retention factor of 42.4 % up to 3000 seconds. The rGO/PEDOT : PSS/ITO electrode exhibits enhanced electrocatalytic activity towards methanol oxidation reaction due to larger surface area and excellent conductivity of rGO nanosheet.  相似文献

A novel multiwalled nanotubes (MWNTs)/Cerium(III) 12 ‐ tungstophosphoric acid (CePW) nanocomposite film glassy carbon electrode was prepared in this paper. Electrochemical behaviors of the CePW/MWNTs modified electrode were investigated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). This modified electrode brought new capabilities for electrochemical devices by combining the advantages of carbon nanotubes, rare‐earth, and heteropoly‐acids. The results demonstrated that the CePW/MWNTs modified electrode exhibited enhanced electrocatalytic behavior and good stability for the detection of guanine and adenine in 0.1 M PBS (pH 7.0). The experimental parameters were optimized and a direct electrochemical method for the simultaneous determination of guanine and adenine was proposed. The detection limit (S/N=3) for guanine and adenine was 2.0×10?8 M and 3.0×10?8 M, respectively. Further, the acid‐denatured calf thymus DNA was also detected and the result was satisfied.  相似文献

We report a facile and green method for the fabrication of new type of electrocatalysts based on MnO2 nanoparticles incorporated on MgAl LDH P-type semiconductive channel and explore its practical applications as high-performance electrode materials for electrochemical biosensor. A series of MgAl layered doubled hydroxide (LDH) nanohybrids with fixed Mg/Al (M2+/M3+ atomic ratio of 3) and varied amount of MnCl2.4H2O are fabricated by a facile co-precipitation method. This approach demonstrates the combination of distinct properties including excellent intercalation features of LDH for entrapping nanoparticles and high loading of MnO2 nanoparticles in the host layers of LDH. Among all samples, Mn5–MgAl with 0.04% loaded manganese has a good crystalline morphology. A well-dispersed MnO2 nanoparticles encapsulated into the host matrix of hydrotalcite exhibit enhanced electrocatalytic activity towards the reduction of H2O2 as well as excellent stability, selectivity and reproducibility due to synergistic effect of good catalytic ability of MnO2 and conductive MgAl LDH. Glass carbon electrode (GCE) modified with Mn5–MgAl possesses a wide linear range of 0.05–78 mM, lowest detection limit 5 μM (S/N = 3) and detection sensitivity of 0.9352 μAmM−1. This outstanding performance enables it to be used for real-time tracking of H2O2 secreted by live HeLa cells. This work may provide new insight in clinical diagnosis, on-site environmental analysis and point of care testing devices.  相似文献

Herein, we are described a green route to prepare reduced graphene oxide supported cobalt inorganic complex nanocomposite (GRGO/[Co(bpy)3]) (bpy=2,2′‐bipyridine) through facile and wet chemical approach. The formation of the nanocomposite was confirmed through suitable physical and chemical characterization techniques. The GRGO/[Co(bpy)3] nanocomposite was coated on the pretreated glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The GCE/GRGO/[Co(bpy)3] modified electrode has excellent electrocatalytic ability towards methyl parathion reduction, while the overpotential drops drastically to –0.18 V (vs. Ag/AgCl). Moreover, the effect of concentration, scan rate and electrolyte pH were detail studied. Besides, the linear response range was 0.05‐1700 μM and the detection limit was 0.0029 μM (S/N=3) and the sensitivity was 1.8197 μA μM−1 cm−2. Moreover, the fabricated electrode has high level of selectivity, which delivers satisfactory repeatability, reproducibility and stability. The sensing method was successfully demonstrated in real samples such as, tomato and apple samples.  相似文献

Natural iron‐intercalated clay (nontronite, SWa‐1) was converted into a more efficient catalyst by formation of lead ruthenate pyrochlore (Py, Pb2Ru2?xPbxO7?y) directly inside the matrix. The new material can take advantage of the electrocatalytic properties of both Py and nontronite and can even generate new catalytic active sites due to interaction of Py and nontronite. The combination of these two interesting catalysts results in a more reactive electrode (designated as SWa‐1/PyCME) for electroanalytical applications. The preparation and characterization of the SWa‐1/PyCME as well as its electrocatalytic behavior toward the oxidation of dopamine are described in this study. Surface saturation kinetics in terms of Michaelis‐Menten kinetics suited well the oxidation of dopamine on this modified electrode. Under optimized conditions, the detection limit (S/N= 3) was 0.54 nM by square‐wave voltammetry.  相似文献

Square‐wave voltammetric detection of dopamine was studied at a copper (Cu)‐(3‐mercaptopropyl) trimethoxy silane (MPS)‐complex modified electrode (Cu‐MPS). The modification of the electrode was based on the attachment of MPS onto an electrochemically activated glassy carbon electrode (GCE) by the interaction between methoxy silane groups of MPS and surface hydroxyl groups and followed by the complexation of copper with the thiol groups of MPS. The surface of the modified electrode was further coated by a thin layer of Nafion film. The surface of the Nafion coated MPS‐Cu complex modified electrode (Nafion/Cu‐MPS) was characterized using cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR) spectrometry. The modified electrode exhibited an excellent electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of dopamine, which was oxidized at a reduced potential of +0.35 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) at a wider pH range. Various experimental parameters, such as the amount of copper, the pH, and the temperature were optimized. A linear calibration plot was obtained in the concentration range between 8.0×10?8 M and 5.0×10?6 M and the detection limit was determined to be 5.0×10?8 M. The other common biological compounds including ascorbic acid did not interfere and the modified electrode showed an excellent specificity to the detection of dopamine. The Nafion/Cu‐MPS modified electrode can be used for about 2 months without any significant loss in sensitivity.  相似文献

Supported nickel nanoparticles with high dispersion have been prepared by partial reduction of NiAl‐layered double hydroxide (NiAl‐LDH) precursors, which exhibit significant electrocatalytic behavior towards glucose. XRD and XPS results confirm that the nickel nanoparticles are successfully synthesized. TEM images reveal that the nickel nanoparticles are highly dispersed in the NiAl‐LDH matrix with a size of 6±0.3 nm. The resulting nanocomposite modified electrode displays significant electrocatalytic performance to glucose with a broad linear response range (8.0×10?5–2.0×10?3 M), low detection limit (3.6 µM), high sensitivity (339.2 µA/mM), selectivity and excellent reproducibility as well as repeatability.  相似文献
