Proximal point algorithm for nonlinear multivalued type mappings in Hadamard spaces

In this paper, we modify the proximal point algorithm for finding common fixed points in CAT(0) spaces for nonlinear multivalued mappings and a minimizer of a convex function and prove Δ‐convergence of the proposed algorithm. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the convergence result. Our results improve and extend the corresponding results in the literature.     

A cyclic iterative method for solving a class of variational inequalities in Hilbert spaces

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new iterative method for solving a variational inequality over the set of common fixed points of a finite family of sequences of nearly non-expansive mappings in a real Hilbert space. And, using this result, we give some applications to the problem of finding a common fixed point of non-expansive mappings or non-expansive semigroups and the problem of finding a common null point of monotone operators.     

Viscosity iterative methods for common fixed points of two nonexpansive mappings without commutativity assumption in Hilbert spaces

In this article, we introduce a new viscosity iterative method for two nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert spaces. We also prove, without commutativity assumption, that the iterates converge to a common fixed point of the mappings which solves some variational inequality. The results presented extend the corresponding results of Shimizu and Takahashi [T. Shimizu, W. Takahashi, Strong convergence to common fixed point of families of nonexpansive mappings, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 211 (1997), 71-83], and Yao and Chen [Y. Yao, R. Chen, Convergence to common fixed points of average mappings without commutativity assumption in Hilbert spaces, Nonlinear Analysis 67(2007), 1758-1763].     

φ-强伪压缩映象隐迭代过程的收敛性分析

Fixed points of multivalued quasi-nonexpansive mappings using a faster iterative process

In this article, we prove some strong and weak convergence theorems for quasi-nonexpansive multivalued mappings in Banach spaces. The iterative process used is independent of Ishikawa iterative process and converges faster. Some examples are provided to validate our results. Our results extend and unify some results in the contemporary literature.     

Some logical metatheorems with applications in functional analysis

In previous papers we have developed proof-theoretic techniques for extracting effective uniform bounds from large classes of ineffective existence proofs in functional analysis. Here `uniform' means independence from parameters in compact spaces. A recent case study in fixed point theory systematically yielded uniformity even w.r.t. parameters in metrically bounded (but noncompact) subsets which had been known before only in special cases. In the present paper we prove general logical metatheorems which cover these applications to fixed point theory as special cases but are not restricted to this area at all. Our theorems guarantee under general logical conditions such strong uniform versions of non-uniform existence statements. Moreover, they provide algorithms for actually extracting effective uniform bounds and transforming the original proof into one for the stronger uniformity result. Our metatheorems deal with general classes of spaces like metric spaces, hyperbolic spaces, CAT(0)-spaces, normed linear spaces, uniformly convex spaces, as well as inner product spaces.

在一致凸Banach空间上，研究了半紧的非扩张压缩映象的修正Ishikawasa三重迭代序列的强收敛问题，建立并证明了若干强收敛定理，推广了Mann和Ishikawa的迭代方法，改进和发展了Xu和贾如鹏等作者的主要结果．     

A New Implicit Iteration Process with Errors for the Family of Strongly Pseudocontractive Mappings

A method is presented for generating a sequence of lower and upper bounds for the eigenvalues of the problem (i) Tu-λSu = 0, where T and S belong to a class of unbounded and nonsymmetric operators in a separable Hilbert space. Sufficient conditions are derived for the convergence of the sequence of bounds to the eigenvalues of (i), and the applicability of the method is illustrated by approximating the smallest eigenvalue of a non-selfadjoint differential eigenvalue problem.
