In this paper, we investigate the dynamics of a time‐delay ratio‐dependent predator‐prey model with stage structure for the predator. This predator‐prey system conforms to the realistically biological environment. The existence and stability of the positive equilibrium are thoroughly analyzed, and the sufficient and necessary conditions for the stability and instability of the positive equilibrium are obtained for the case without delay. Then, the influence of delay on the dynamics of the system is investigated using the geometric criterion developed by Beretta and Kuang. 26 We show that the positive steady state can be destabilized through a Hopf bifurcation and there exist stability switches under some conditions. The formulas determining the direction and the stability of Hopf bifurcations are explicitly derived by using the center manifold reduction and normal form theory. Finally, some numerical simulations are performed to illustrate and expand our theoretical results.  相似文献

A diffusive predator-prey system with Holling type-II predator functional response subject to Neumann boundary conditions is considered. Hopf and steady state bifurcation analysis are carried out in details. In particular we show the existence of multiple spatially non-homogeneous periodic orbits while the system parameters are all spatially homogeneous. Our results and global bifurcation theory also suggest the existence of loops of spatially non-homogeneous periodic orbits and steady state solutions. These results provide theoretical evidences to the complex spatiotemporal dynamics found by numerical simulation.  相似文献

In this paper, a reaction‐diffusion predator–prey system that incorporates the Holling‐type II and a modified Leslie‐Gower functional responses is considered. For ODE, the local stability of the positive equilibrium is investigated and the specific conditions are obtained. For partial differential equation, we consider the dissipation and persistence of solutions, the Turing instability of the equilibrium solutions, and the Hopf bifurcation. By calculating the normal form, we derive the formulae, which can determine the direction and the stability of Hopf bifurcation according to the original parameters of the system. We also use some numerical simulations to illustrate our theoretical results. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, a diffusive predator–prey system, in which the prey species exhibits herd behavior and the predator species with quadratic mortality, has been studied. The stability of positive constant equilibrium, Hopf bifurcations, and diffusion‐driven Turing instability are investigated under the Neumann boundary condition. The explicit condition for the occurrence of the diffusion‐driven Turing instability is derived, which is determined by the relationship of the diffusion rates of two species. The formulas determining the direction and the stability of Hopf bifurcations depending on the parameters of the system are derived. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to verify and extend the theoretical results and show the existence of spatially homogeneous periodic solutions and nonconstant steady states. In this article, we study a reaction-diffusion predator-prey model that describes intraguild predation. We mainly consider the effects of time delay and cross-fractional diffusion on dynamical behavior. By using delay as the bifurcation parameter, we perform a detailed Hopf bifurcation analysis and derive the algorithm for determining the direction and stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions. We also demonstrate that proper cross-fractional diffusion can induce Turing pattern, and the smaller the order of fractional diffusion is, the more easily Turing pattern is able to occur.  相似文献

The interactions of diffusion-driven Turing instability and delay-induced Hopf bifurcation always give rise to rich spatiotemporal dynamics. In this paper, we first derive the algorithm for the normal forms associated with the Turing-Hopf bifurcation in the reaction-diffusion system with delay, which can be used to investigate the spatiotemporal dynamical classification near the Turing-Hopf bifurcation point in the parameter plane. Then, we consider a diffusive predator-prey model with weak Allee effect and delay. Through investigating the dynamics of the corresponding normal form of Turing-Hopf bifurcation induced by diffusion and delay, the spatiotemporal dynamics near this bifurcation point can be divided into six categories. Especially, stable spatially homogeneous/inhomogeneous periodic solutions and steady states, coexistence of two stable spatially inhomogeneous periodic solutions, coexistence of two stable spaially inhomogeneous steady states and the transition from one kind of spatiotemporal patterns to another are found.  相似文献

In this paper, we deal with the effect of the shape of herd behavior on the interaction between predator and prey. The model analysis was studied in three parts. The first, The analysis of the system in the absence of spatial diffusion and the time delay, where the local stability of the equilibrium states, the existence of Hopf bifurcation have been investigated. For the second part, the spatiotemporal dynamics introduce by self diffusion was determined, where the existence of Hopf bifurcation, Turing driven instability, Turing-Hopf bifurcation point have been proved. Further, the order of Hopf bifurcation points and regions of the stability of the non trivial equilibrium state was given. In the last part of the paper, we studied the delay effect on the stability of the non trivial equilibrium, where we proved that the delay can lead to the instability of interior equilibrium state, and also the existence of Hopf bifurcation. A numerical simulation was carried out to insure the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this article, we investigate the effect of prey refuge and time delay on a diffusive predator‐prey system with Holling II functional response and hyperbolic mortality subject to Neumann boundary condition. More precisely, we study Turing instability of positive equilibrium by using refuge as parameter, instability and Hopf bifurcation induced by time delay. In addition, by the theory of normal form and center manifold, we derive conditions for determining the bifurcation direction and the stability of the bifurcating periodic solution. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper is concerned with a predator-prey system with Holling type IV functional response and time delay. Our aim is to investigate how the time delay affects the dynamics of the predator-prey system. By choosing the delay as a bifurcation parameter, the local asymptotic stability of the positive equilibrium and existence of local Hopf bifurcations are analyzed. Based on the normal form and the center manifold theory, the formulaes for determining the properties of Hopf bifurcation of the predator-prey system are derived. Finally, to support these theoretical results, some numerical simulations are given to illustrate the results.  相似文献

The dynamics of a reaction–diffusion plankton system with delay and toxic substances effect is considered. Existence and priori bound of a solution for a model without delay are shown. Global asymptotic stability of the axial equilibrium is obtained. The stability of the positive equilibrium and the existence of Hopf bifurcation are investigated by analyzing the distribution of eigenvalues. And the properties of Hopf bifurcation are determined by the normal form theory and the center manifold reduction for partial functional differential equations. Some numerical simulations are carried out for illustrating the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the dynamics of a diffusive predator-prey system with strong Allee effect and delayed Ivlev-type functional response. At first, we apply the method of upper-lower solutions and the comparison principle in proving the nonnegativity of the solutions. Then by analyzing the distribution of the eigenvalues, we obtain the bistability of the system and the existence of Hopf bifurcation. Furthermore, by using the center manifolds theory and normal form method, we study the properties of the Hopf bifurcations. Finally, some numerical simulations are carried out for illustrating the theoretical results.  相似文献

The increasing time delay usually destabilizes any dynamical system. In this paper we give an example that in some special cases the opposite effect can be experienced if the time delay is sufficiently great. We investigate the effect of both the parameter in the time delay kernel and diffusion coefficient on the stability of the positive steady state for a diffusive prey-predator system with delay. We obtain the condition of the occurrence of the stability switches of the positive steady state.  相似文献

In this paper, the temporal, spatial, and spatiotemporal patterns of a tritrophic food chain reaction–diffusion model with Holling type II functional response are studied. Firstly, for the model with or without diffusion, we perform a detailed stability and Hopf bifurcation analysis and derive criteria for determining the direction and stability of the bifurcation by the center manifold and normal form theory. Moreover, diffusion-driven Turing instability occurs, which induces spatial inhomogeneous patterns for the reaction–diffusion model. Then, the existence of positive non-constant steady-states of the reaction–diffusion model is established by the Leray–Schauder degree theory and some a priori estimates. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to visualize the complex dynamic behavior.  相似文献

Since population behaviors possess the characteristic of history memory, we, in this paper, introduce time fractional‐order derivatives into a diffusive Gause‐type predator‐prey model, which is time fractional‐order reaction‐diffusion equations and a generalized form of its corresponding first‐derivative model. For this kind of model, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a global positive solution by using the theory of evolution equations and the comparison principle of time fractional‐order partial differential equations. Besides, we obtain the stability and Hopf bifurcation of the Gause‐type predator‐prey model in the forms of the time fractional‐order ordinary equations and of the time fractional‐order reaction‐diffusion equations, respectively. Our results show that the stable region of the parameters in these 2 models can be enlarged by the time fractional‐order derivatives. Some numerical simulations are made to verify our results.  相似文献

A reaction-diffusion model with logistic type growth, nonlocal delay effect and Dirichlet boundary condition is considered, and combined effect of the time delay and nonlocal spatial dispersal provides a more realistic way of modeling the complex spatiotemporal behavior. The stability of the positive spatially nonhomogeneous positive equilibrium and associated Hopf bifurcation are investigated for the case of near equilibrium bifurcation point and the case of spatially homogeneous dispersal kernel.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a delayed two-competitor/one-prey system in which both two competitors exhibit Holling II functional response. By choosing the time delay as a bifurcation parameter, it is found that the Hopf bifurcation occurs when the delay passes through a certain critical value. Numerical simulations are performed to illustrate the analytical results.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to study a non-Kolmogrov type prey-predator system. First, we investigate the linear stability of the model by analyzing the associated characteristic equation of the linearized system. Second, we show that the system exhibits the Hopf bifurcation. The stability and direction of the Hopf bifurcation are determined by applying the norm form theory and center manifold theorem. Finally, numerical simulations are performed to illustrate the obtained results.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a three-species reaction-diffusion planktonic system with prey-taxis and toxic effects, in which the zooplankton can recognize the nontoxic and toxin-producing phytoplankton and can make proper response. We first establish the existence and stability of the unique positive constant equilibrium solution by utilizing the linear stability theory for partial differential equations. Then we obtain the existence and properties of nonconstant positive solutions by detailed steady state bifurcation analysis. In addition, we obtain that change of taxis rate will result in the appearance of time-periodic solutions. Finally, we conduct some numerical simulations and give the conclusions.  相似文献

A diffusive predator–prey model with predator saturation and competition response subject to homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions is considered in this paper. We find that the spatially homogeneous and non‐homogeneous periodic solutions through all parameters of the system are spatially homogeneous. To verify our theoretical results, some numerical simulations are also carried out. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper deals with a diffusive toxin producing phytoplankton‐zooplankton model with maturation delay. By analyzing eigenvalues of the characteristic equation associated with delay parameter, the stability of the positive equilibrium and the existence of Hopf bifurcation are studied. Explicit results are derived for the properties of bifurcating periodic solutions by means of the normal form theory and the center manifold reduction for partial functional differential equations. Numerical simulations not only agree with the theoretical analysis but also exhibit the complex behaviors such as the period‐3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, and 12 solutions, cascade of period‐doubling bifurcation in period‐2, 4, quasi‐periodic solutions, and chaos. The key observation is that time delay may control harmful algae blooms (HABs). Moreover, numerical simulations show that the chaotic states induced by the period‐doubling bifurcation are purely temporal, which is stationary in space and oscillatory in time. The investigations may provide some new insights on harmful phytoplankton blooms.  相似文献
