In this paper, we study the initial boundary value problem of nonlinear pseudo‐parabolic equation with a memory term with initial conditions and Dirichlet boundary conditions. By the combination of the Galerkin method and Potential well theory, the existence of global solutions is derived. Moreover, not only the finite time blow up of solutions with the negative initial energy (E(0) < 0) but also the finite time blow up results with the nonnegative initial energy (0≤E(0) < dk) are obtained by using Concavity method and Potential well theory. A sufficient condition for blowup of solutions to a class of pseudo‐parabolic equations with a nonlocal term is established in this paper. In virtue of the potential wells method, we first extend the results obtained by Xu and Su in [J. Funct. Anal., 264 (12): 2732‐2763, 2013] to the nonlocal case and describe successfully the behavior of solutions by using the energy functional, Nehari functional, and the ground state energy of the stationary equation. Sequently, we study the boundedness and convergency of any global solution. Finally, we achieve a criterion to guarantee the blowup of solutions without any limit of the initial energy.Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

By the means of a differential inequality technique, we obtain a lower bound for blow‐up time if p and the initial value satisfy some conditions. In this paper, we investigate a class of pseudo‐parabolic equations. Such equations model two‐phase flow in porous media where dynamic effects are included in the capillary pressure. Sufficient conditions are obtained for the nonexistence of solutions to the nonlinear higher order pseudo‐parabolic equation where is the Kohn‐Laplace operator on the (2N + 1)‐dimensional Heisenberg group , m≥1,p > 1. Then, this result is extended to the case of a 2 × 2‐system of the same type. In this paper the degenerate parabolic system ut=u(uxx+av). vt=v(vxx+bu) with Dirichlet boundary condition is studied. For , the global existence and the asymptotic behaviour (α12) of solution are analysed. This paper deals with the properties of positive solutions to a quasilinear parabolic equation with the nonlinear absorption and the boundary flux. The necessary and sufficient conditions on the global existence of solutions are described in terms of different parameters appearing in this problem. Moreover, by a result of Chasseign and Vazquez and the comparison principle, we deduce that the blow-up occurs only on the boundary (?)Ω. This article deals with the degenerate parabolic system with nonlinear boundary flux. By constructing the self-similar supersolution and subsolution, we obtain the critical global existence curve and the critical Fujita curve for the problem. Especially for the blow-up case, it is rather technical. It comes from the construction of the so-called Zel’dovich-Kompaneetz-Barenblatt profile.  相似文献

If f, g and h are polynomials with proper degrees and proper coefficients, they show that the blowup property only depends on the first eigenvalue of −Δ in Ω with Dirichlet boundary condition. In this article, we deal with the global existence and nonexistence of solutions to the non-Newtonian polytropic filtration equations coupled with nonlinear boundary conditions. By constructing various kinds of sub- and super-solutions and using the basic properties of M-matrix, we give the necessary and sufficient conditions for global existence of nonnegative solutions. The critical curve of Fujita type is conjectured with the aid of some new results, which extend the recent results of Zheng, Song, and Jiang [Critical Fujita exponents for degenerate parabolic equations coupled via nonlinear boundary flux, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 298 (2004), pp. 308–324], Zhou and Mu [Critical curve for a non-Newtonian polytropic filtration system coupled via nonlinear boundary flux, Nonlinear Anal. 68 (2008), pp. 1–11], and Zhou and Mu [Algebraic criteria for global existence or blow-up for a boundary coupled system of nonlinear diffusion equations, Appl.
