Magnetization reversal in the model of a hard/soft magnetic bilayer under the action of an external magnetic field has been investigated by the Monte Carlo method. Calculations have been performed for three systems: (i) the model without a soft-magnetic layer (hard-magnetic layer), (ii) the model with a soft-magnetic layer of thickness 25 atomic layers (predominantly exchange-coupled system), and (iii) with 50 (weak exchange coupling) atomic layers. The effect of a soft-magnetic phase on the magnetization reversal of the magnetic bilayer and on the formation of a 1D spin spring in the magnetic bilayer has been demonstrated. An inf lection that has been detected on the arch of the hysteresis loop only for the system with weak exchange coupling is completely determined by the behavior of the soft layer in the external magnetic field. The critical fields of magnetization reversal decrease with increasing thickness of the soft phase.  相似文献

用自旋动力学方法系统地研究磁偶极相互作用表现的边界效应对小尺寸正方形铁磁薄膜的磁化翻转过程的影响.在确定的磁偶极相互作用强度下,针对不同的单轴各向异性强度和不同的磁化角(外磁场与易轴间的夹角),具体给出矫顽场与磁化角及单轴各向异性强度之间的依赖关系和-些有代表性的磁滞回线,并给出磁化翻转过程中-些有代表性的微观磁结构.模拟结果表明:磁偶极相互作用表现的边界钉扎作用与单轴各向异性场之间的竞争决定磁滞回线的形状和矫顽场的大小,从而在不同磁化角情况下会导致不同的矫顽场机理.本文提出可有效地描述正方形铁磁性薄膜复杂微观磁畴结构的形成与演变的五磁畴模型.这种五磁畴模型既能直接揭示单轴各向异性正方形铁磁薄膜的几何特性和物理特性,也方便于磁化翻转过程的分析.  相似文献

The dependence of the dispersion relation and the magnetization on the exchange coupling strength was calculated for a system consisting of two ferromagnetic layers exchange-coupled through a nonmagnetic spacer layer. The magnetic layers are characterized by both uniaxial and cubic magnetocrystalline anisotropies. A minimization procedure was developed which allows the resonance modes to be obtained for any magnetic field orientation and strength, as well as for any exchange coupling strength. If the antiparallel coupled film is unsaturated at resonance, the dispersion relation for both acoustic and optic modes could be rather complex, especially when the field is applied in the plane of the film.  相似文献

A mechanism of unidirectional anisotropy formation in an exchange-coupled ferromagnetic-ferrimagnetic film structure with orthogonal effective magnetizations in the layers is investigated. The reason for unidirectional anisotropy is the magnetic heterogeneity of the ferrimagnetic layer in the compensation range. Magnetization reversal in the magnetically soft layer of an (REE–transition metal)/NiFe film structure is discussed based on a model of uniform rotation of magnetization. It is found that unidirectional anisotropy sharply decreases the magnetic noise level in the magnetically soft layer. The field of application of these materials is outlined.  相似文献

The magnetic properties of an isotropic, epoxy resin bonded magnets made from Pr-Fe-Co-Nb-B powder were investigated. The magnetization reversal process and magnetic parameters were examined by measurements of the initial magnetization curve, major and minor hysteresis loops and sets of recoil curves. From the initial magnetization curve and the field dependencies of the reversible and irreversible magnetization components derived from the recoil loops it was found that the magnetization reversal process is the combination of the nucleation of reversed domains and pinning of domain walls at the grain boundaries and the reversible rotation of magnetization vector in single domain grains. The interactions between grains were studied by means of δM plots. The nonlinear behavior of δM curve approve that the short range intergrain exchange coupling interactions are dominant in a field up to the sample coercivity.The interaction domains and fine magnetic structure were revealed as the evidence of exchange coupling between soft α-Fe and hard magnetic Nd2Fe14B grains.  相似文献

The magnetic properties of isotropic epoxy resin-bonded magnets prepared by mixing a hard magnetic powder made from melt quenched Nd–Fe–Co–B ribbons and a soft magnetic iron powder have been examined. The magnetization reversal processes and the magnetic parameters have been studied by the measurement of the virgin magnetization curves, the major and minor hysteresis loops and sets of recoil curves. From these recoil curves the field dependence of the reversible and irreversible magnetization components during the magnetization and demagnetization processes has been derived. The remanence relationship was used to study the nature of magnetic interaction between the grains. A study of interaction domains was conducted using optical microscopy. Groups of domains, each over several grains, were observed. It was found that the reversal process in the samples investigated involves the rotation of magnetization vectors in the iron powder grains and pinning of domain walls at the MQP-B grain boundaries.  相似文献

Hysteresis loops and magnetic reversal processes have been determined by a three dimensional (3D) micromagnetic model for exchange-coupled Nd2Fe14B/α-Fe bilayers and carefully compared with a popular one-dimensional (1D) micromagnetic model. It is found that the calculated hysteresis loops, the critical fields and the magnetic phase diagrams agree well with the results given by the 1D model. However, the calculated nucleation mode is a quasi-curling one where the magnetic moment exhibits a curling in the film plane and varies in the thickness direction, in contrast with the reported quasi-coherent mode. The calculated spatial distribution of the magnetization orientation in the thickness direction at various applied fields signifies a three-step magnetic reversal process, which includes nucleation, growth and displacement of the domain wall as well as the rotation and the reversal of magnetization in the hard phase. The magnetic reversal of the hard phase is much slower than that given by the 1D model, leading to a more slant hysteresis loop near the coercivity point.  相似文献

The kinetics of remagnetization after magnetic field switching was studied by the magneto-optic visualization technique in the bilayer hybrid structure composed of exchange-coupled FeNi and FeMn films. It was observed that not only the static but the dynamic characteristics of remagnetization as well depend on the polarity of a field applied along the direction of easy magnetization. The rate of the process was found to be exponentially dependent on the field strength in both directions, but the rate varied by factors of 10 upon inversion of the field. It was shown that this difference is the consequence of variation of both the time of domains nucleation and the velocity of domain walls motion.  相似文献

We exploit the recoil loop measurements to study La0.07 Sr0.33 Mn O3/La0.33 Ca0.67 Mn O3 bilayer film. the asymmetric magnetization reversal in an exchange-biased It is found that the recoil curve encloses a marked area only in the second quadrant of the hysteresis loop, and the recoil susceptibility in the descending branch of the major loop is evidently higher than that in the ascending branch. The study indicates that the exchange anisotropy of a unidirectional nature and an orientation deviated from the easy axis of the ferromagnetic layer plays a crucial role in creating the reversal asymmetry.  相似文献

The demagnetization process for an exchange-coupled double-nanolayer system with perpendicular easy axes has been investigated within a micromagnetic model. The nucleation field, coercivity and angular distribution of the magnetization, have been obtained as functions of the thickness L of the misaligned layer, the layer with the easy axis perpendicular to the applied field. It is found that the coercivity is identical to the nucleation field only for very small L. For larger L (larger than a quarter of its Bloch wall width), the nucleation field is negative while the coercivity saturates at 0.414HK, where HK is the anisotropy field. Thus for larger L, the coercivity mechanism is self-pinning rather than pure nucleation. This self-pinning has both attributes of traditional nucleation and pinning.  相似文献

The magnetization reversal of the ferromagnetic (FM) layer in CoFe/PtMn exchange-coupled bilayer films has been investigated using bulk magnetometry. These films exhibit very complex angular dependence and the easy axis is perpendicular to the field applied during deposition and post-annealing. Holding the film at negative saturation of the FM layer for up to 17 h results in no change in the exchange field. We believe that this is a thermally stable exchange-coupled system. Only limited thermal activation with a small time constant appears and no thermally activated reversal of the antiferromagnetic layer with a large time constant exits.  相似文献

Exchange bias measurements of ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic (F/AF) bilayers are typically performed with the magnetization of the F layer parallel to the AF interface. We describe measurements of Co/Pt multilayers with out-of-plane magnetic easy axis that are exchange biased with CoO. Field-cooling experiments with the applied field perpendicular and parallel to the sample plane exhibit loop shifts and enhanced coercivities. Modeling and comparison to biasing of samples with planar easy axis suggests such measurements provide a way to probe the spin projections at F/AF interfaces.  相似文献

The paper deals with the analysis of clusters' size in diverse magnetization states of a system of ferromagnetic particles organized in a perfect 2D array with all the anisotropy axes perpendicular to the plane (perpendicular medium) following the evolution of the clusters in correlation with various parameters like applied field or interaction strength. We present numerical simulations for a two-level Ising-type model each magnetic entity being characterized by a Stoner-Wohlfarth nonlinear energy barrier and a rectangular hysteresis loop (Ising-Preisach hysteron). In the simulations we took into account, the long-range inter-particle magnetostatic interactions in an attempt to mimic as accurately as possible with a still simple model, materials like Bit-Patterned media that are now considered as good candidates for the magnetic memories of the future.  相似文献

The cooperative phenomena revealed in the field and temperature dependences of the magnetization in a system of iron nanoparticles in carbon nanotubes were studied experimentally. The character of the temperature dependences of the magnetization indicates that the ferromagnetic Fe particles in carbon nanotubes are exchange-coupled. In the region where the magnetization approaches saturation, the magnetization curves reveal the power dependence ΔMH?3/2 typical for a one-dimensional system of exchange-coupled ferromagnetic nanoparticles.  相似文献

Magnetic structure is studied as a function of the orientation of the easy magnetic axis with respect to ac (4 Hz) and dc magnetizing fields in specimens with various coercivities. Alternating boundary polarity was observed, and a system of magnetization distribution in the equilibrium state is given. Domain width in equilibrium states is measured for various angles of the demagnetizing field. 利用有效场理论研究了纳米管上双模随机交错晶场中混合自旋Blume-Capel模型格点的平均磁化强度,得到了系统格点的平均磁化强度与双模随机晶场的取值概率、外磁场、晶场参数和晶场强度比值的关系.结果表明:取值概率、外磁场、交换相互作用、晶场强度比值和晶场强度等诸多因素相互竞争,使系统表现出比恒定晶场作用的Blume-Capel模型更为丰富的磁化现象;双模随机交错晶场会抑制系统的平均磁化强度,使其基态饱和值小于5/6;外磁场导致系统的二级相变消失;一定条件下系统发生一级相变;系统的平均磁化强度呈现部分缺失和负值现象.  相似文献
