Bi doped lanthanum manganites with the chemical composition of La0.67−xBixCa0.33MnO3 (x=0x=0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2) were prepared by the standard solid-state process. The Curie temperatures were measured to be 267 K for x=0x=0, 248 K for x=0.05x=0.05, 244 K for x=0.1x=0.1 and 229 K for x=0.2x=0.2 samples. It was found that the maximum value of the magnetic entropy change ∣ΔSm∣ has reached the highest value of 6.08 J/kg K at 3 T for the composition with x=0.05x=0.05. Nearly the same maximum entropy change was observed for the x=0x=0 sample. A large decrease in the magnitude of the entropy change was observed for the x=0.2x=0.2 sample.  相似文献

Geometrical characterizations are given for the tensor R⋅SRS, where SS is the Ricci tensor   of a (semi-)Riemannian manifold (M,g)(M,g) and RR denotes the curvature operator   acting on SS as a derivation, and of the Ricci Tachibana tensor  g⋅SgS, where the natural metrical operator  gg also acts as a derivation on SS. As a combination, the Ricci curvatures   associated with directions on MM, of which the isotropy determines that MM is Einstein, are extended to the Ricci curvatures of Deszcz   associated with directions and planes on MM, and of which the isotropy determines that MM is Ricci pseudo-symmetric in the sense of Deszcz.  相似文献

Temperature dependencies of magnetic susceptibility and electric resistivity of Co-based metallic glasses (MGs) of the general composition Co(72-x)Mex(Si,B)28Co(72-x)Mex(Si,B)28(Me=Fe,Cr,Si:B=18:10)(Me=Fe,Cr,Si:B=18:10) have been studied up to 950 K. The studied MGs were found to be ferromagnets at the room temperature and their Curie point TCTC ranges within 260–560 K depending on the dopant contents. At the temperatures higher than TCTC, a wide paramagnetic region exists. The regularities of magnetic moment variation upon Cr doping evidence a formation of antiferromagnetic clusters, which determine the anomalous behavior of resistivity.  相似文献

Magnetization studies were carried out for the novel FeSe1−xTex superconductors (0≤x≤10x1) to investigate a behavior of the intrinsic magnetic susceptibility χχ in the normal state. The magnetic susceptibility was found to increase gradually with Te content. The temperature dependencies of the magnetic susceptibility χχ and its anisotropy Δχ=χχΔχ=χχ were measured for FeSe in the temperature range 4.2–300 K, and a growth of susceptibility with temperature was revealed. For FeTe a substantial increase of χχ under pressure was found. Ab initio calculations of the band structure and magnetic susceptibility have shown, that FeSe1−xTex systems are close to magnetic instability with dominating enhanced spin paramagnetism. The calculated paramagnetic susceptibility exhibits a strong dependence on the unit cell volume V   and especially the height of chalcogen species from the Fe plane. With appropriate values of these parameters the calculations have reproduced the experimental data on χ(T)χ(T) and χ(P)χ(P) for FeSe and FeTe, respectively.  相似文献

The density wave phase of α-α-(BEDT-TTF)2KHg(SCN)4 was investigated by transport properties and magnetic susceptibility. The density wave transition was observed as a broad increase at TDWTDW=9 K by resistance measurement. Temperature dependence of the static magnetic susceptibility χχ shows a large Curie tail below 100 K. By subtracting the Curie component, we found that the magnetic susceptibility increases like weak ferromagnetism with decreasing temperature below 7.4 K. The gradual increase of χχ below TDWTDW is not expected in simple CDW or SDW, where the magnetic susceptibility decreases with decreasing temperature due to the reduction of Pauli paramagnetic component. To explain the weak ferromagnetic behavior, we consider the coexistence of CDW and SDW. We propose a model of the mixed density wave, where CDW exists with antiferromagnetically coupled canting spins.  相似文献

The grand partition functions Z(T,B)Z(T,B) of the Ising model on L×LL×L triangular lattices with fully periodic boundary conditions, as a function of temperature T and magnetic field B  , are evaluated exactly for L<12L<12 (using microcanonical transfer matrix) and approximately for L?12L?12 (using Wang–Landau Monte Carlo algorithm). From Z(T,B)Z(T,B), the distributions of the partition function zeros of the triangular-lattice Ising model in the complex temperature plane for real B≠0B0 are obtained and discussed for the first time. The critical points aN(x)aN(x) and the thermal scaling exponents yt(x)yt(x) of the triangular-lattice Ising antiferromagnet, for various values of x=e−2βBx=e2βB, are estimated using the partition function zeros.  相似文献

The behavior of a one-dimensional antiferromagnetic (AF) chain doped by non-magnetic donor impurities is analyzed, in the limit of low impurity density n  . The doping leads to the formation of ferromagnetically correlated regions localized near impurities (bound magnetic polarons or ferrons). The temperature evolution of the chain is calculated using an approximate variational method, and a Monte Carlo simulation. Both these methods give the similar results. The analysis of correlation functions for neighboring local spins demonstrates that the ferromagnetic correlations inside a ferron are significant even at high temperatures. The AF correlations in the rest part of the chain decay much faster with temperature. So, the ferron is a stable object that does not disappear even above the Néel temperature TNTN. At rather small values of the electron–impurity coupling energy VV (for VV lower then the electron hopping integral t  ), the bound ferron depins from impurity retaining its magnetic structure. Such a depinning occurs at T∼VTV.  相似文献

The spin-glass q-state Potts model on d  -dimensional diamond hierarchical lattices is investigated by an exact real space renormalization group scheme. Above a critical dimension dl(q)dl(q) for q>2q>2, the coupling constants probability distribution flows to a low-temperature strange attractor   or to the high-temperature paramagnetic fixed point, according to the temperature is below or above the critical temperature Tc(q,d)Tc(q,d). The strange attractor was investigated considering four initial different distributions for q=3q=3 and d=5d=5 presenting strong robustness in shape and temperature interval suggesting a condensed phase with algebraic decay.  相似文献

We have studied the anisotropic two-dimensional nearest-neighbor Ising model with competitive interactions in both uniform longitudinal field HH and transverse magnetic field ΩΩ. Using the effective-field theory (EFT) with correlation in cluster with N=1N=1 spin we calculate the thermodynamic properties as a function of temperature with values HH and ΩΩ fixed. The model consists of ferromagnetic interaction JxJx in the xx direction and antiferromagnetic interaction JyJy in the yy direction, and it is found that for H/Jy∈[0,2]H/Jy[0,2] the system exhibits a second-order phase transition. The thermodynamic properties are obtained for the particular case of λ=Jx/Jy=1λ=Jx/Jy=1 (isotropic square lattice).  相似文献

Current experimental data indicate that two unitarity triangles of the CKM quark mixing matrix V   are almost the right triangles with α≈90°α90°. We highlight a very suggestive parametrization of V and show that its CP-violating phase ? is nearly equal to α   (i.e., ?−α≈1.1°?α1.1°). Both ? and α   are stable against the renormalizaton-group evolution from the electroweak scale MZMZ to a superhigh energy scale MXMX or vice versa, and thus it is impossible to obtain α=90°α=90° at MZMZ from ?=90°?=90° at MXMX. We conjecture that there might also exist a maximal CP-violating phase φ≈90°φ90° in the MNS lepton mixing matrix U. The approximate quark–lepton complementarity relations, which hold in the standard parametrizations of V and U, can also hold in our particular parametrizations of V and U   simply due to the smallness of |Vub||Vub| and |Ve3||Ve3|.  相似文献

Generally, in literature, easy-axis single ion anisotropy and easy-axis exchange anisotropy was treated in indistinct way. In this work we propose to perform a comparative study of the effects of these two easy-axis anisotropies on the behavior of the magnetization and the critical temperature (Tc)(Tc) in the 2D classical Heisenberg antiferromagnetic model. In order to study the low-temperature thermodynamics of this model, we should consider the contribution of anisotropic spin waves, using a self-consistent harmonic approximation (SCHA) theory. We compare the predictions of SCHA with numerical simulations on L×LL×L square lattices using Monte Carlo (MC) simulations, which include effects due to all thermodynamically allowed excitations. Our SCHA results are in good agreement with our MC simulations results and have shown that the strong KK limit gives two different Ising-like behavior. In the exchange anisotropic case, the dependence of TcTc on anisotropic parameter KK becomes linear and in the single-ion anisotropic case, TcTc becomes independent of KK. Also, using MC simulations and finite size scaling, we show that the critical exponents in the two anisotropic case are compatible with the 2D Ising values α=0.125α=0.125 and γ=1.75γ=1.75.  相似文献

The effect of Ru substitution for Mn in bilayered oxides La1.2Sr1.8(Mn1−yRuy)2O7 (0?y?0.20?y?0.2) was investigated by magnetization measurements and low-temperature Lorentz transmission electron microscopy. It was found that the magnetic anisotropy is controlled by the Ru content y and temperature T. The easy axis changes from 〈1 1 0〉 for the y=0y=0 crystal to the c  -axis for y=0.2y=0.2, and it rotates away from the c-  axis for the y=0.05y=0.05 and y=0.07y=0.07 crystals with decreasing temperature. Furthermore, maze-shaped magnetic domain structures were observed in the (0 0 1) thin crystals with 0.05?y?0.20.05?y?0.2. Changes in domain size and structure indicate that the uniaxial magnetic anisotropy becomes stronger as Ru content y increases.  相似文献

The ββ-expansion of the Helmholtz free energy (HFE) up to order β12β12 of the classical XYZ model with a single-ion anisotropy term and external magnetic field is calculated and compared to the numerical solution of Joyce's [Phys. Rev. Lett. 19 (1967) 581] for the XXZ   classical model, with neither single-ion anisotropy term nor external magnetic field. This comparison shows that the derived analytical expansion is valid for intermediate temperatures such as kT/Jx≈0.5kT/Jx0.5. The specific heat and magnetic susceptibility of the S=2S=2 antiferromagnetic chain can be approximated by their respective classical results, within an error of 2.5%2.5%, up to kT/J≈0.8kT/J0.8. For a vanishing external magnetic field the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic chains are shown to have the same classical HFE; their behaviour in a non-vanishing external magnetic field is also described.  相似文献

We discuss space-time symmetric Hamiltonian operators of the form H=H0+igHH=H0+igH, where H0H0 is Hermitian and gg real. H0H0 is invariant under the unitary operations of a point group GG while HH is invariant under transformation by elements of a subgroup GG of GG. If GG exhibits irreducible representations of dimension greater than unity, then it is possible that HH has complex eigenvalues for sufficiently small nonzero values of gg. In the particular case that HH is parity-time symmetric then it appears to exhibit real eigenvalues for all 0<g<gc0<g<gc, where gcgc is the exceptional point closest to the origin. Point-group symmetry and perturbation theory enable one to predict whether HH may exhibit real or complex eigenvalues for g>0g>0. We illustrate the main theoretical results and conclusions of this paper by means of two- and three-dimensional Hamiltonians exhibiting a variety of different point-group symmetries.  相似文献

A Monte Carlo (MC) simulation was used to observe the magnetic behavior of a superlattice Ising Model, in the presence of both an external and crystal magnetic fields. The system is made up to layers σ=±1/2σ=±1/2 and S=±1,0S=±1,0. The effect of the exchange interaction coupling JpJp between the spin configurations σσ and SS is investigated for different values of temperature at fixed values of the crystal field. We found that this parameter increases the magnetization of the system at high temperature. Also, the critical temperature is calculated, for each spin configuration as function of temperature using the MC technique. The thermal behavior magnetizations and susceptibilities are studied. Finally, the response of the magnetization to the field shows a hysteresis behavior.  相似文献
