The reactions of thiophene‐2‐(N‐diphenylphosphino)methylamine, Ph2PNHCH2‐C4H3S, 1 and thiophene‐2‐[N,N‐bis(diphenylphosphino)methylamine], (Ph2P)2NCH2‐C4H3S, 2, with MCl2(cod) (M = Pd, Pt; cod = 1,5‐cyclooctadiene) or [Cu(CH3CN)4]PF6 yields the new complexes [M(Ph2PNHCH2‐C4H3S)2Cl2], M = Pd 1a, Pt 1b, [Cu(Ph2PNHCH2‐C4H3S)4]PF6, 1c, and [M(Ph2P)2NCH2‐C4H3S)Cl2], M = Pd 2a, Pt 2b, {Cu[(Ph2P)2NCH2‐C4H3S]2}PF6, 2c, respectively. The new compounds were isolated as analytically pure crystalline solids and characterized by 31P‐, 13C‐, 1H‐NMR and IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Furthermore, the solid‐state molecular structures of representative palladium and platinum complexes of bis(phosphine)amine, 2a and 2b, respectively, were determined using single crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. The palladium complexes were tested as potential catalysts in the Heck and Suzuki cross‐coupling reactions. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Suzuki coupling is one of the most powerful methods for the synthesis of biaryls. We have prepared and characterized a series of unsymmetrical sulfonated water-soluble Pd(II)-pyridyl imine complexes and investigated them as catalysts for the Suzuki cross-coupling reaction in water under microwave irradiation. The compounds proved to be effective catalysts.  相似文献

Silica‐supported terpyridine palladium(II) was prepared and used as an effective and recyclable catalyst in Mizoroki–Heck and Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions. The catalyst was very effective for the Mizoroki–Heck reaction of aryl halides with olefins and conversion was in most cases excellent. The catalyst showed good thermal stability (up to 230 °C) and could be recovered and reused for four reaction cycles. The Suzuki coupling of aryl iodides with aryl boronic acids in the presence of the catalyst was also investigated and the reaction proceeded with a short reaction time and excellent conversion. Novel palladium‐1,3‐dialkylperhydrobenzimidazolin‐2‐ylidene (2a–c) and palladium‐1,3‐dialkylimidazolin‐2‐ylidene complexes (4a,b) have been prepared and characterized by C, H, N analysis, 1H‐NMR and 13C‐NMR. Styrene or phenylboronic acid reacts with aryl halide derivatives in the presence of catalytic amounts of the new palladium‐carbene complexes, PdCl2(1,3‐dialkylperhydrobenzimidazolin‐2‐ylidene) or PdCl2(1,3‐dialkylimidazolin‐2‐ylidene) to give the corresponding C? C coupling products in good yields. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Palladium(II) complexes containing phosphorus and nitrogen donor atoms (iminophosphine), dichlorido{N‐[2‐(diphenylphosphino)benzylidene]‐2‐trifluoromethylaniline}palladium(II) 1 , dichlorido{N‐[2‐(diphenylphosphino)benzylidene]‐3‐trifluoromethylaniline}palladium(II) 2 , dichlorido{N‐[2‐(diphenylphosphino)benzylidene]‐2‐methylaniline}palladium(II) 3 , dichlorido{N‐[2‐(diphenylphosphino)benzylidene]‐3‐methylaniline}palladium(II) 4 have been successfully synthesized and fully characterized by FT‐IR and NMR (1H, 31P, 19F, and 13C) spectroscopy techniques. These complexes were first step tested in the reaction of bromobenzene and styrene to determine the optimal coupling reaction conditions and then successfully applied as catalysts for Heck cross‐coupling reactions of activated and deactivated aryl bromides with styrene derivatives and several acrylates. In this work, palladium tripod nanocrystals have been synthesized by mixing an aqueous solution of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) surfactant, Na(2)PdCl(4), copper acetate, and ascorbic acid at 30 °C for 3 h. Addition of a small amount of copper ion source is critical to the formation of these tripods with a pod length reaching 100 nm. The incorporation of Cu atoms into the Pd tripods has been verified. The entire Pd tripod is single-crystalline with their branches growing along the [111] and [200] directions. Formation of side branches can be observed in some tripods. Triangular nanoplates are initially formed and evolved into the tripod structure in 20-30 min of reaction. Further growth leads to elongation of the pods. The large Pd tripods can serve as active and recyclable catalysts for a broad range of Sonogashira coupling reactions in water using a variety of aromatic halides containing electron-donating and -withdrawing substituents.  相似文献

An interesting silica‐supported iron catalyst was successfully prepared and demonstrated as an efficient heterogeneous catalyst for cross‐coupling reactions of aryl halides. The as‐prepared nanocatalyst was well characterized and found to be highly efficient in Heck reaction under mild and sustainable conditions (water as solvent at 80 °C in short reaction time). Furthermore, the obtained catalyst was used as an efficient, inexpensive and green heterogeneous catalyst for Sonogashira cross‐coupling reactions of various aryl iodides and provided the corresponding products with moderate to good yields. This phosphine, copper and palladium‐free catalyst was simply recovered from the reaction mixture and recycled five times without substantial decrease in its catalytic activity.  相似文献

Two new phosphinite ligands based on ionic liquids [(Ph2PO)C7H14N2Cl]Cl ( 1 ) and [(Cy2PO)C7H14N2Cl]Cl ( 2 ) were synthesized by reaction of 1‐(3‐chloro‐2‐hydoxypropyl)‐3‐methylimidazolium chloride, [C7H15N2OCl]Cl, with one equivalent of chlorodiphenylphosphine or chlorodicyclohexylphosphine, respectively, in anhydrous CH2Cl2 and under argon atmosphere. The reactions of 1 and 2 with MCl2(cod) (M = Pd, Pt; cod = 1,5‐cyclooctadiene) yield complexes cis‐[M([(Ph2PO)C7H14N2Cl]Cl)2Cl2] and cis‐[M(Cy2PO)C7H14N2Cl]Cl)2Cl2], respectively. All complexes were isolated as analytically pure substances and characterized using multi‐nuclear NMR and infrared spectroscopies and elemental analysis. The catalytic activity of palladium complexes based on ionic liquid phosphinite ligands 1 and 2 was investigated in Suzuki cross‐coupling. They show outstanding catalytic activity in coupling of a series of aryl bromides or aryl iodides with phenylboronic acid under the optimized reaction conditions in water. The complexes provide turnover frequencies of 57 600 and 232 800 h?1 in Suzuki coupling reactions of phenylboronic acid with p‐bromoacetophenone or p‐iodoacetophenone, respectively, which are the highest values ever reported among similar complexes for Suzuki coupling reactions in water as sole solvent in homogeneous catalysis. Furthermore, the palladium complexes were also found to be highly active catalysts in the Heck reaction affording trans‐stilbenes. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The lithiation/alkylation of fluorene leads to various 9-alkyl-fluorenes (alkyl=Me, Et, iPr, -Pr, -C18H25) in>95% yields, for which lithiation and reaction with R2PCl (R=Cy, iPr, tBu) generates 9-alkyl, 9-PR2-fluorenes which constitute electron-rich and bulky phosphine ligands. The in-situ-formed palladium-phosphine complexes ([Na2PdCl4], phosphonium salt, base, substrates) were tested in the Sonogashira, Suzuki, and Buchwald-Hartwig reactions of aryl chlorides and aryl bromides in organic solvents. The Sonogashira coupling of aryl chlorides at 100-120 degrees C leads to>90% yields with 1 mol% of Pd catalyst. The Suzuki coupling of aryl chlorides typically requires 0.05 mol% of Pd catalyst at 100 degrees C in dioxane for quantitative product formation. To carry out "green" cross-coupling reactions in water, 9-ethylfluorenyldicyclohexylphosphine was reacted in sulphuric acid to generate the respective 2-sulfonated phosphonium salt. The Suzuki coupling of activated aryl chlorides by using this water-soluble catalyst requires only 0.01 mol% of Pd catalyst, while a wide range of aryl chlorides can be quantitatively converted into the respective coupling products by using 0.1-0.5 mol% of catalyst in pure water at 100 degrees C. Difficult substrate combinations, such as naphthylboronic acid or 3-pyridylboronic acid and aryl chlorides are coupled at 100 degrees C by using 0.1-0.5 mol% of catalyst in pure water to obtain the respective N-heterocycles in quantitative yields. The copper-free aqueous Sonogashira coupling of aryl bromides generates the respective tolane derivatives in>95% yield.  相似文献

A novel heterogeneous magnetic palladium nano‐biocatalyst was designed by utilizing Irish moss, a family of sulfated polysaccharides extracted from algae, as a natural biopolymer. This magnetic Irish moss decorated with palladium (Pd–Fe3O4@IM) to form a biomagnetic catalytic system was synthesized and well characterized by FT–IR analysis, X‐ray powder diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, atomic absorption spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The catalyst was stable to air and moisture and displayed high catalytic activity in ligand‐free Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions conducted under green chemistry reaction conditions. The aromatic ketones are produced by the cross‐coupling reaction between acid chlorides and aryl boronic acid derivatives in high yields.  相似文献

Air‐stable bis(imino)pyridine palladium(II) complexes were synthesized and complex 12 proved to be a highly efficient catalyst for the Suzuki cross‐coupling reaction between aryl bromides and arylboronic acids in air using water as solvent. The coupling reaction proceeded smoothly under mild conditions to provide biaryls in excellent yields and Pd black was not observed. The recycling of the catalysts was also investigated, for up to three cycles, and complex 12 still exhibited good activity. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A new polymer‐anchored Pd(II) Schiff base complex has been prepared and characterized using scanning electron microscopy, elemental analysis, atomic absorption spectroscopy, TGA and spectrometric methods such as diffuse reflectance spectra of solid and FT‐IR spectroscopy. This polymer‐anchored palladium catalyst shows excellent catalytic activity in the liquid‐phase hydrogenation reaction of styrene oxide to obtain selectively 2‐phenylethanol at normal pressure of hydrogen gas (1 atm.) at room temperature in DMF medium. We have also studied the liquid‐phase hydrogenation reaction of various organic substrates. The catalyst exhibits excellent catalytic activity for the Suzuki cross‐coupling of various substituted and non‐substituted aryl halides. The influences of various parameters were investigated to optimize reaction conditions. The reusability experiments show that the catalyst can be used five times without much loss in catalytic activity. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The synthesis, characterization, crystal structure and catalyst activity of the bidentate phosphine complex [1,2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane]palladium(II) bromide, [PdBr2(dppe)], are presented. Treatment of 1,2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane with palladium(II) bromide under mild conditions resulted in the compound in high yield and purity. The characterization of the synthesized compound was performed using spectroscopic methods, such as Fourier transform infrared and NMR, CHN analysis and X‐ray crystallography. The structure of the compound was slightly distorted square planar. This compound was found to work as an efficient catalyst for both Stille and Suzuki cross‐coupling reactions of various aryl halides with triphenyltin chloride and/or phenylboronic acid. Also, the catalyst could be recovered and reused several times without significant loss of its catalytic activity. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The ease of H elimination from the 4- (beta-) position in a series of allylic complexes [Pd(5-C(6)F(5)-1-3-eta(3)-cyclohexenyl)XL](n+) (X, L = Br, N-, P-donor, C(6)Cl(2)F(3); n = -1, 0, +1) was compared by analyzing their decomposition products at 50 degrees C. Pd-H elimination does not occur for cationic complexes, whereas it is the main decomposition pathway for neutral and anionic complexes. In addition to the charge of the complex, the ease of this Pd-H elimination is determined by the trans influence of the ligands (aryl > PMe(3) > Br, N-donor).  相似文献

An efficient catalytic system based on a new palladium–bis(oxazoline) ( Pd-BOX-1 ) complex has been developed. The complex Pd-BOX-1 adopts a legless chair‐type structure where the distorted square planar [PdN2Cl2] moiety and the benzene ring spacer represent the seat and the chair back, respectively. The catalytic activity of Pd-BOX-1 has been investigated in dimethylformamide–water under aerobic and mild conditions in Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions of arylboronic acids with aryl iodides, aryl bromides and aryl chlorides, Mizoroki–Heck coupling reactions of aryl halides with styrene derivatives, and Sonogashira coupling reactions of aryl halides with terminal alkynes. A wide range of functional groups as substituents on the arylboronic acids and aryl halides were considered. Pd-BOX-1 demonstrates exceptional air and moisture stability. Of note, the catalyst system based on Pd-BOX-1 shows high recycling ability in Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions in dimethylformamide–water without any loss in catalytic activity. In this paper, a highly active, air‐ and moisture‐stable and easily recoverable magnetic nanoparticles tethered mesoionic carbene palladium (II) complex (MNPs‐MIC‐Pd) as nanomagnetic catalyst was successfully synthesized by a simplistic multistep synthesis under aerobic conditions using commercially available inexpensive chemicals for the first time. The synthesized MNPs‐MIC‐Pd nanomagnetic catalyst was in‐depth characterized by numerous physicochemical techniques such as FT‐IR, ICP‐AES, FESEM, EDS, TEM, p‐XRD, XPS, TGA and BET surface area analysis. The prepared MNPs‐MIC‐Pd nanomagnetic catalyst was used to catalyze the Suzuki–Miyaura and Mizoroki–Heck cross‐coupling reactions and exhibited excellent catalytic activity for various substrates under mild reaction conditions. Moreover, MNPs‐MIC‐Pd nanomagnetic catalyst could be easily and rapidly recovered by applying an external magnet. The recovered MNPs‐MIC‐Pd nanomagnetic catalyst exhibited very good catalytic activity up to ten times in Suzuki–Miyaura and five times in Mizoroki–Heck cross‐coupling reactions without considerable loss of its catalytic activity. However, MNPs‐MIC‐Pd nanomagnetic catalyst shows notable advantages such as heterogeneous nature, efficient catalytic activity, mild reaction conditions, easy magnetic work up and recyclability.  相似文献

The reaction of p‐(N,N‐dimethylaminophenyl)diphenylphosphine [PPh2(p‐C6H4NMe2)] with [Fe3(CO)12], [Rh(CO)2Cl]2 and PdCl2 resulted in three new mononuclear complexes, {Fe(CO)41‐(P)‐PPh2(p‐C6H4NMe2)]} ( 1a ), trans‐{Rh(CO)Cl[η1‐(P)‐PPh2(p‐C6H4NMe2)]2} ( 2 ) and trans‐{PdCl21‐(P)‐PPh2(p‐C6H4NMe2)]2} ( 3 ), respectively. A small amount of dinuclear nonmetal‐metal bonded complex, {Fe2(CO)8[µ‐(P,N)‐PPh2(p‐C6H4NMe2)]} ( 1b ), was also isolated as a side product in the reaction of [Fe3(CO)12]. The complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, mass, IR, UV–vis, 1H, 13C (except 1b) and 31P{1H} NMR spectroscopy. The Pd complex 3 effectively catalyzes the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions of aryl halides with arylboronic acids in water–isopropanol (1:1) at room temperature. Excellent yields (up to 99% isolated yield) were achieved. The effects of different solvents, bases, catalyst quantities were also evaluated. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Gas‐phase C―C coupling reactions mediated by Ni (II) complexes were studied using a linear quadrupole ion trap mass spectrometer. Ternary nickel cationic carboxylate complexes, [(phen)Ni (OOCR1)]+ (where phen = 1,10‐phenanthroline), were formed by electrospray ionization. Upon collision‐induced dissociation (CID), they extrude CO2 forming the organometallic cation [(phen)Ni(R1)]+, which undergoes gas‐phase ion‐molecule reactions (IMR) with acetate esters CH3COOR2 to yield the acetate complex [(phen)Ni (OOCCH3)]+ and a C―C coupling product R1‐R2. These Ni(II)/phenanthroline‐mediated coupling reactions can be performed with a variety of carbon substituents R1 and R2 (sp3, sp2, or aromatic), some of them functionalized. Reaction rates do not seem to be strongly dependent on the nature of the substituents, as sp3sp3 or sp2sp2 coupling reactions proceed rapidly. Experimental results are supported by density functional theory calculations, which provide insights into the energetics associated with the C―C bond coupling step.  相似文献
