Oka's principle for holomorphic submersions with sprays

We classify, up to a local isometry, all non-K?hler almost K?hler 4-manifolds for which the fundamental 2-form is an eigenform of the Weyl tensor, and whose Ricci tensor is invariant with respect to the almost complex structure. Equivalently, such almost K?hler 4-manifolds satisfy the third curvature condition of A. Gray. We use our local classification to show that, in the compact case, the third curvature condition of Gray is equivalent to the integrability of the corresponding almost complex structure. A splitting theorem for holomorphic Banach bundles

This paper is motivated by Grothendieck’s splitting theorem. In the 1960s, Gohberg generalized this to a class of Banach bundles. We consider a compact complex manifold X and a holomorphic Banach bundle E → X that is a compact perturbation of a trivial bundle in a sense recently introduced by Lempert. We prove that E splits into the sum of a finite rank bundle and a trivial bundle, provided .     

Local moduli of holomorphic bundles

We study moduli of holomorphic vector bundles on non-compact varieties. We discuss filtrability and algebraicity of bundles and calculate dimensions of local moduli. As particularly interesting examples, we describe numerical invariants of bundles on some local Calabi-Yau threefolds.     

Affine Gelfand-Dickey brackets and holomorphic vector bundles

We define the (second) Adler-Gelfand-Dickey Poisson structure on differential operators over an elliptic curve and classify symplectic leaves of this structure. This problem leads to the problem of classification of coadjoint orbits for double loop algebras, conjugacy classes in loop groups, and holomorphic vector bundles over the elliptic curve. We show that symplectic leaves have a finite but (unlike the traditional case of operators on the circle) arbitrarily large codimension, and compute it explicitly.     

Foliate partial holomorphic structures on principal bundles

Thefoliate partial holomorphic (f.p.h.) pseudogroup is the pseudogroup of the local diffeomorphisms of ^m which preserve a distribution of the form span , wherey ^a are real coordinates,z are complex coordinates, and ^m may have also some other real coordinates. The f.p.h. structures on manifolds are described geometrically by the Nirenberg-Frobenius theorem [N], and occur in many interesting situations [R], [FW], [DK1], [V3], etc. The present paper discusses f.p.h. structures on principal bundles, and associates with such structures adapted connections, and forms with values in an associated bundle of Lie algebras.

Spectral theory for tensor products of Hermitian holomorphic line bundles

Let L be a quasipositive line bundle over a compact complex Hermitian manifold. It has been conjectured that the smallest positive eigenvalue of the Laplacian, acting on the kth tensor power of L, is uniformly bounded independent of k. Various special cases of the conjecture are proved, but a counterexample is given to the general conjecture. On holomorphic Banach vector bundles over Banach spaces

Let X be a Banach space with a countable unconditional basis (e.g., X = ℓ ₂ Hilbert space), Ω ⊂ X pseudoconvex open, E → Ω a locally trivial holomorphic vector bundle with a Banach space Z for fiber type, the sheaf of germs of holomorphic sections of E → Ω, and Z ₁ the Banach space . Then and Ω × Z ₁ are holomorphically isomorphic, is acyclic and E is so to speak stably trivial over Ω in a generalized sense. We also show that if E is continuously trivial over Ω, then E is holomorphically trivial over Ω. In particular, if Z = ℓ ₂ or Ω is contractible, then E is holomorphically trivial over Ω. The Atiyah class of generalized holomorphic vector bundles

We introduce the notion of Atiyah class of a generalized holomorphic vector bundle, which captures the obstruction to the existence of generalized holomorphic connections on the bundle. As in the classical holomorphic case, this Atiyah class can be defined in three different ways: using Čech cohomology, using the first-jet short exact sequence, or adopting the Lie pair point of view.
