The present study elaborates three-dimensional (3D) thermally radiative flow of carbon nanotubes dispersed in water with Darcy–Forchheimer porous space. A bidirectional linear stretchable sheet is used to generate the flow. Darcy–Forchheimer relation specifies porous space. Single-wall carbon nanotubes and multi-wall carbon nanotubes are accounted. Solutions development is due to optimal homotopy analysis technique. Optimal data of sundry variables are obtained. The optimal solution interpretations of velocities and temperature are interpreted via plots. Physical quantities are also elaborated. Our results reveal that thermal field against radiation and temperature ratio parameter is enhanced.

The effect of three flame retardants, K2CO3, Na2SiO3·9H2O, and Na2B4O7·10H2O on the process and composition of volatile products of the thermal degradation of wood has been investigated by the thermogravimetric (TG), differential thermogravimetry (DTG), differential thermal analysis (DTA), and the synchronous thermogravimetry–mass spectrometry (TG–MS) analysis methods. The results showed that the ion current intensity and ion peak area of m/z = 18 and 44 MS signals were increased by the flame retardants but the ion peak area of m/z = 28 MS signal was decreased (except K2CO3) at the meantime. What’s more, the ion current intensity and ion peak area of m/z = 60 and 68 MS signals were also decreased (except K2CO3), which mean that Na2B4O7 can significantly enhances the dehydration and inhibits the depolymerization of wood. Although K2CO3 accelerates the dehydration reaction, it cannot inhibit the depolymerization reaction effectively, so the flame retardant efficiency of K2CO3 is decreased with the higher concentration. The catalysis of dehydration reaction of Na2SiO3 is the worst one.  相似文献

This research communicates the applications of thermos-diffusion effect associated to the squeezing flow of Jeffrey nanofluid due to horizontal channel. The problem presents the applications of inertial effects by following the Darcy–Forchheimer flow. Moreover, the effects of viscous dissipation and activation energy phenomenon has been discussed. The dimensionless attention of problem is retained. The shooting technique is implemented to present the numerical computations. The numerical validation of results is reported. The essential assessment of physical flow parameters is studied. The numerical outcomes are presented for heat and mass transfer phenomenon. It is observed that presence of inertial forces control to velocity flow in the regime. The enhancing contribution of thermal and concentration rate is noted for inertial constant.  相似文献

This paper reports numerical study for peristalsis of Carreau–Yasuda nanofluid in a symmetric channel. Constant magnetic field is applied. Modified Darcy’s law and nonlinear thermal radiation effects are considered. Viscous dissipation and Ohmic heating effects are also present. Long wavelength and small Reynolds number are considered. Resulting nonlinear problems are solved numerically. Graphical illustrations depict that temperature increases for larger Hartmann number and it decays for thermophoresis parameter.

Some Mo-V-Te-La catalysts with varied component were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis and dried with microwave method. The component of the catalyst were greatly affected the crystal structure and Raman spectrum. The phase in the catalysts was different when the Mo, V, and Te content varied. When the catalyst containing the same Mo, V content, due to the effect of dopant of Te element (V0.07 Mo0.93)5O14 became the main phase in the catalyst. The catalyst also showed good activity for the reaction of selective oxidation propane to acrolein and acrylic acid.  相似文献

Resorcinol–formaldehyde (RF) hydrogel and RF–nickel–palladium (RF–Ni–Pd) hydrogel were synthesized by sol–gel polycondensation followed by ambient drying. Carbon gel and carbon–nickel–palladium doped gels were prepared by carbonizing the RF and RF–Ni–Pd gels at 900 °C under a nitrogen atmosphere. The goal of this study was to determine the effect of oxidative thermal treatment on the electrochemical activity of nickel–palladium doped carbon gels (C–Ni–Pd). The scanning electron microscopy analysis, adsorption and X-ray diffraction measurements showed that the admixture of Ni and Pd to carbon matrix resulted in the modification of morphological, porous and crystalline features. It has been demonstrated that composite C–Ni–Pd composed of sphere-like granules incrusted with well-crystalline nickel and palladium particles exhibits electrochemical activity in 6 M KOH aqueous solution. Thermal treatment of the composite carried out in air at 450 °C brought about the improvement of electrochemical activity in the potential range of the hydrogen sorption/desorption reaction.  相似文献

Iron-chromium redox flow batteries (ICRFBs) possess advantages of high safety, long cycle time, and low-cost. Increasing Cr3+/Cr2+ reaction activity is suggested as one of the most promising strategies to improve the performance and prolong the lifetime of ICRFBs. To improve the slow reaction kinetics of the negative electrode, a type of defected carbon cloth with Bismuth (Bi) catalyst introduction is prepared by defect engineering method and electrochemical deposition, which provided defect sites and active sites to catalyze the redox couple's reaction of ICRFBs. Furthermore, this modified carbon cloth adsorbs Cr(III) hydrate more easily, which has a more stable structure and can significantly improve the performance of ICRFBs. Both experimental analysis and theoretical calculation indicated that the modified electrode has excellent electrocatalytic ability, which can enhance the reaction rate of Cr3+/Cr2+, improve capacity retention and stabilize cycling performance. The capacity degradation rate of an ICRFB single cell with the modified electrodes is just 0.23% per cycle at a current density of 140 mA/cm2. Additionally, the energy efficiency (EE) remains around 83%, which is 8.45% higher than that of the pristine electrode assembled battery under 60 cycles. This work supplies a simple method to obtain a high-performance electrode material for ICRFBs and makes it a practical solution to promote ICFRBs large-scale commercialization process.  相似文献

Lipid nanoparticles, both solid lipid nanoparticles and nanostructured lipid carriers (NLC), containing tacrolimus (FK) were obtained by solvent diffusion method associated with ultrasonication using stearic acid (SA) or beeswax as solid lipid. The oleic acid was used as liquid lipid in the NLC. Lipid nanoparticles were characterized by determining the drug loading, particle size, polydispersity index (PDI) and zeta potential (ZP). Analysis by differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray diffraction were performed. Lipid nanoparticles presented nano-sized from 139 to 275 nm. The PDI results show the particles present from 0.3 to 0.5, and ZP was higher than |25| mV. Drug loading ranged of 2.3–3.2%. SA nanoparticles presented better ZP, average size and distribution. However, beeswax nanoparticles showed higher drug loading. Results suggest there are no incompatibilities between FK and the raw materials. Polymorphic modifications were not observed. The results presented show that lipid nanoparticles using both lipids were successfully obtained and may represent promising delivery system of FK in topical formulations.  相似文献

Four complexes of the nuclear structure NiII–ZnII were prepared with bis-N,N′-(salicylidene)-1,3-propanediamine (LH2), bis-N,N′-(salicylidene)-2,2′-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine (LDMH2) and the reduced derivatives of these Schiff bases, bis-N,N′-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-1,3-propanediamine (LHH2), bis-N,N′-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-2,2′-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine (LDMHH2). The complexes were characterized using IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and thermogravimetric methods. The stoichiometry of the complex molecules were found to be NiL·ZnCl2·(DMF)2, NiLDM·ZnCl2·(DMF)2, NiLH·ZnCl2·(DMF)2 and NiLDMH·ZnCl2·(DMF)2. The molecular models of the complexes prepared with the reduced Schiff bases were determined according to the X-ray diffraction method. It is seen that in these complexes Ni(II) is in octahedral and Zn(II) is in tetrahedral coordination sphere. Ni(II) ion is coordinated between two nitrogen and two oxygen donors of the ligand and oxygen donors of the two DMF molecules. Zn(II) ion on the other hand is coordinated between two oxygen of the organic ligand forming two μ bonds. It also coordinates two Cl ions. The thermogravimetric analysis showed that the complex NiLDMH·ZnCl2·(DMF)2 containing methyl groups is more stable than the other complex NiLH·ZnCl2·(DMF)2 containing reduced Schiff base. The coordinative DMF molecules in NiLDMH·ZnCl2·(DMF)2 were thermally cleaved. However, the cleavage of DMF molecules NiLH·ZnCl2·(DMF)2 resulted in the thermal degradation of the complex. In order to explain the TG data of the ligands were titrated in non-aqueous medium and their basicity strengths were determined. It was found that the basicity of the ligands containing two methyl groups were stronger. It is understood that the two methyl groups increase the negative charge density on nitrogen causing an increase in complex stability.  相似文献

This article describes the test results of thermal properties and flammability of the unconventionally cross-linked blends of chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSM) and butadiene–styrene rubber (SBR) by means of zinc oxide or nano-zinc oxide. The thermal curves have been interpreted from the point of view of the chemical transitions of elastomers and their blends. It has been found that the content of combined chlorine in CSM exerts a significant influence on the cross-linking kinetics of CSM/SBR blends, their thermal properties and flammability.  相似文献
