The thermodynamic hydride donor abilities of 1-benzyl-1,4-dihydronicotinamide (BzNADH, 59 +/- 2 kcal/mol), C(5)H(5)Mo(PMe(3))(CO)(2)H (55 +/- 3 kcal/mol), and C(5)Me(5)Mo(PMe(3))(CO)(2)H (58 +/- 2 kcal/mol) have been measured in acetonitrile by calorimetric and/or equilibrium methods. The hydride donor abilities of BzNADH and C(5)H(5)Mo(PMe(3))(CO)(2)H differ by 13 and 24 kcal/mol, respectively, from those reported previously for these compounds in acetonitrile. These results require significant revisions of the hydricities reported for related NADH analogues and metal hydrides. These compounds are moderate hydride donors as compared to previously determined compounds. 相似文献

Langmuir monolayers and LB films of the ring-shaped mixed-valence polyoxomolybdate [Mo142O429H10(H2O)49(CH3CO2)5(CH3CH2CO2)](30-) (Mo142) dissolved in the aqueous subphase have been successfully fabricated by using the adsorption properties of a DODA monolayer. Infrared and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy of the LB films indicates that Mo142 and DODA molecules are incorporated within these LB films. X-ray reflectivity experiments indicate that the LB films exhibit a well-defined lamellar structure formed by bilayers of DODA molecules alternating with monolayers of Mo142. Using behenic acid-modified hydrophobic quartz substrate is critical for the formation of the well-defined lamellar structure. From the values of the periodicity obtained by these experiments it is clear that the Mo142 clusters lie flat along the charged organic layers. AFM images also showed the flat and homogeneous films on the quartz substrates treated with behenic acid. Cyclic voltammograms of Mo142-LB films deposited on ITO substrates showed quasi-reversible oxidation/reduction waves with positive shift of the potential compared to the case of solution. 相似文献

The clusters [H2Os4M(CO)12eta6-C6H6)] (M=Os, Ru) may be deprotonated to generate anions [Os4M(CO)12eta6-C6H6)]2- which react with [M′eta6-C6H5R) (MeCN)3]2+(M′=Os, Ru; R=H, Me) to give the bicapped tetrahedral clusters [Os4(CO)12MM′eta6-C6H5R)2]. Whereas [Os4(CO)12M2eta6-C6H6)2] (M=Os, Ru) have one Meta6-C6H6) unit in a site connected to three other metals, {3}, and one in a site connected to four other metals, {4}, [Os4(CO)12OsRueta6-C6H6)2] has the Rueta6-C6H6) unit in the {3} site irrespective of whether the Os or Ru anion is capped. Coupling of these anions with Au2dppm yields [Os4M(CO)12eta6-C6H6)(Au2dppm)] (M=Os, Ru), which have the arene ligand in the axial site of a trigonal bipyramid and the digold unit capping two faces. Reduction of [H2Os5(CO)15] with K/Ph2CO and coupling with [Rueta5-C5H5)(MeCN)3]2+yields the monoanion [Os5(CO)15Rueta5-C5H5)]? which reacts with [AuPPh3]+ generating [Os5(CO)15Rueta5-C5H5)(AuPPh3)] with the “Ru(C5H5)” unit in the terminal {3} site. 相似文献

The interaction of CpM(CO)3H (M = Mo, W) hydrides as proton donors with different bases (B = pyridine, (n-Oc)3PO, ((CH3)2N)3PO, H3BNEt3) was studied by variable temperature IR spectroscopy and theoretically by DFT/B3LYP calculations. The data obtained show for the first time the formation of intermolecular hydrogen bonds between the neutral transition metal hydrides and bases in solutions of low polarity. A titanium oxide molecular cluster prepared by hydrolysis of titanium tetraethoxide in the presence of methacrylic acid, can be characterized by electrospray time of flight mass spectrometry (ESMS-TOF). The chemistry of such systems is not well known and ESMS is a powerful technique for studying the reactions of clusters in solution. The fingerprint of the cluster fragmentation suggests formation of Ti(x)O(y) core fragments that represent commonly observed structural constructs in bulk titanium oxide metallates. The fragmentation steps provide insight into the hydrolytic conversion of this molecular sol gel intermediate into bulk TiO(2). While MS has been applied to the study of metal alkoxide hydrolysis mechanisms, mass spectra of isolated individual titanium oxide clusters have not previously been reported. 相似文献

The complex (η5-C5H4CH3)Mn(NO)(PPh3)I has been prepared by the reaction of NaI with [(η5-C5H4CH3)Mn(NO)(CO)(PPh3)]+ and also by the reaction of [(η5-C5H4CH3)Mn(NO)(CO)2]+ with NaI followed by PPh3. This iodide compound reacts with NaCN to yield (η5-C5H4CH3)Mn(NO)(PPh3)CN which is ethylated by [(C2H5)3O]BF4 to yield [(η5-C5H4CH3)Mn(NO)(PPh3)(CNC2H5)]+. Both [(η5-C5H4CH3)Mn(NO)(CO)2]+ and [(η5-C5H4CH3)Mn(NO)(PPh3)(CO)]+ react with NaCN to yield [(η5-C5H4CH3)Mn(NO)(CN)2]?. This anion reacts with Ph3SnCl to yield cis-(η5-C5H4CH3)Mn(NO)(CN)2SnPh3 and with [(C2-H5)3O]BF4 to yield [(η5-C5H4CH3)Mn(NO)(CNC2H5)2]+. The reaction of (η5-C5-H4CH3)Mn(NO)(PPh3)I with AgBF4 in acetonitrile yields [(η5-C5H4CH3)Mn-(NO)(PPh3)(NCCH3)]+. The complex (η5-C5H4CH3)Mn(NO)(CO)I, produced in the reaction of [(η5-C5H4CH3)Mn(NO)(CO)2]+ with NaI, is not stable and decomposes to the dimeric complex (η5-C5H4CH3)2Mn2(NO)3I for which a reasonable structure is proposed. Similar dimers can be prepared from the other halide salts. The reaction of (η7-C7H7)Mo(CO)(PPh3)I with NaCN yields (η7-C7-H7)Mo(CO)(PPh3)CN which is ethylated by [(C2H5)3O]BF4 to yield [(η7-C7H7)-Mo(CO)(PPh3)(CNC2H5)]+. The interaction of this molybdenum halide complex with AgBF4 in acetonitrile and pyridine yields [(η7-C7H7)Mo(CO)(PPh3)-(NCCH3)]+ and [(η7-C7H7)Mo(CO)(PPh3)(NC5H5)]+, respectively. Both (η5-C5-H4CH3)Mn(NO)(PPh3)I and (η7-C7H7)Mo(CO)(PPh3)I are oxidized by NOPF6 to the respective 17-electron cations in acetonitrile at ?78°C but revert to the neutral halide complex at room temperature. A new and high yielding method for the synthesis of [M(CO)(3)(eta(5)-2,3-C(2)B(9)H(11))](-) and the bifunctional metal complexes, rac-[M(CO)(3)(eta(5)-2-R-2,3-C(2)B(9)H(10))](-) (R = CH(2)CH(2)CO(2)H), from [M(CO)(3)Br(3)](2)(-) (M = Re, (99)Tc) was developed. The general approach entailed the addition of nido-[(C(2)B(9)H(12))(-)], or the acid substituted analogue, to [M(CO)(3)Br(3)](2)(-) (M = Re, (99)Tc) in the presence of TlOEt in THF. It was also possible to prepare the reported products in water using sodium carbonate in place of TlOEt. The reported approach led to the preparation, and X-ray crystallographic structure determination, of the first Tc-carborane complex reported to date (a = 13.606(17) A, b = 10.685(13) A, c = 15.534(16) A, alpha = gamma = 90 degrees, beta = 111.84(2) degrees). Because of the stabilities of the metal complexes, and the fact that the compounds can be prepared in water, the bifunctional derivatives can be considered as novel synthons for the preparation of organometallic (99m)Tc and (186/188)Re radiopharmaceuticals. 相似文献

The clusters Fe2(CO)6(μ-XCH2CH=CH2)(μ3-X)Fe(CO)2Cp (X = S, Se) were prepared by the successive treatment of the bi- and trimetallic complexes Fe2(CO)6(μ-Se2) and Fe3(CO)9(μ3-X) with allylmagnesium chloride and CpFe(CO)2I. The clusters obtained contain a noncoordinated C=C bond. The structure of the Se-containing cluster was suggested on the basis of comparison of its spectral data (IR,1H NMR, and Mössbauer spectra) with the spectra of the analogous S-containing complex, which was previously characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. 相似文献
