Characteristics of groups with the interpolation relation (not necessarily directed) are considered. A necessary and sufficient condition for a partially ordered group to be an interpolation group is obtained. An almost orthogonality criterion for positive elements of an interpolation group is proved. Characteristics of minimal convex directed subgroups containing almost orthogonal elements are described. Properties of convex directed subgroups in the subclass of interpolation groups in which each element is a quotient of two almost orthogonal elements are investigated.  相似文献

Sz.-Nagy's dilation theorem for a contraction on a Hilbert space has been extended by Mlak to the case of a contraction semigroup whose indices are the positive elements of a totally ordered discrete group. We generalize to this case the intertwining lifting theorem of Sz.-Nagy and Foias. Some previous interpolation results on ordered groups are obtained as consequences.  相似文献

We give two variations of the Holland representation theorem for ℓ-groups and of its generalization of Glass for directed interpolation po-groups as groups of automorphisms of a linearly ordered set or of an antilattice, respectively. We show that every pseudo-effect algebra with some kind of the Riesz decomposition property as well as any pseudo MV-algebra can be represented as a pseudo-effect algebra or as a pseudo MV-algebra of automorphisms of some antilattice or of some linearly ordered set.  相似文献

We develop a theory of ordered *-algebras with an order unit. These are complex algebras equipped with a conjugate-linear vector space involution whose hermitian elements form an ordered real algebra with an order unit but not necessarily with a multiplicative identity. Our main result is a representation theorem for ordered *-algebras with an order unit. This can be viewed as the complex and the non-unital version of the representation theorem of Stone and Kadison for ordered real algebras containing an order unit which is a multiplicative identity. A key role in our approach is played by certain weighted function algebras.  相似文献

A method for generalizing the notion of orthogonality to arbitrary partially ordered groups is considered. In the paper, the properties of almost orthogonal elements in Riesz groups are investigated. A series of results on convex directed subgroups associated with a pair of almost orthogonal elements of a Riesz group is obtained. The divisibility group of every Bézout domain is an abelian l-group. Conversely, Jaffard, Kaplansky, and Ohm proved that each abelian l-group can be obtained in this way, which generalizes Krull’s theorem for abelian linearly ordered groups. Dumitrescu, Lequain, Mott, and Zafrullah [3] proved that an integral domain is almost GCD if and only if its divisibility group is an almost l-group. Then they asked whether the Krull-Jaffard-Kaplansky-Ohm theorem on l-groups can be extended to the framework of almost l-groups, and asked under what conditions an almost l-group is lattice-ordered [3, Questions 1 and 2]. We give an axiomatization of first‐order logic enriched with the almost‐everywhere quantifier over finitely additive measures. Using an adapted version of the consistency property adequate for dealing with this generalized quantifier, we show that such a logic is both strongly complete and enjoys Craig interpolation, relying on a (countable) model existence theorem. We also discuss possible extensions of these results to the almost‐everywhere quantifier over countably additive measures.  相似文献

The main result: there exists a freef-module over an o-moduleRM with cone pm if and only if pM is half-closed (this generalizes Vainberg's theorem for ordered Abelian groups). We prove a theorem saying that in finitely generated linearly ordered metabelian groups there exists a finite system of normal convex subgroups satisfying orderability conditions for groups, and an embedding theorem for linearly ordered metabelian groups whose initial linear orders extend to -divisible linearly ordered metabelian ones. In this work, a new fixed point theorem in partially ordered Banach spaces is established, and then used to prove the existence of positive pseudo almost periodic solutions to a class of neutral integral equations. Our existence theorem extends some recent results due to [E. Ait Dads, P. Cieutat, L. In this paper, we study a general class of impulsive partial stochastic differential equations with infinite delay and pseudo almost periodic coefficients in Hilbert spaces. Firstly, a more appropriate concept of pseudo almost periodic in distribution for stochastic processes of infinite class is introduced. Secondly, the existence of pseudo almost periodic in distribution mild solutions is investigated by utilizing the interpolation theory, the stochastic analysis techniques and fixed point theorem. The existence of optimal mild solutions of the systems is also proved. Finally, an example is provided to show the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper we study interpolation of bilinear operators between products of Banach spaces generated by abstract methods of interpolation in the sense of Aronszajn and Gagliardo. A variant of bilinear interpolation theorem is proved for bilinear operators from corresponding weighted c0 spaces into Banach spaces of non-trivial the periodic Fourier cotype. This result is then extended to the spaces generated by the well-known minimal and maximal methods of interpolation determined by quasi-concave functions. In the case when a maximal construction is generated by Hilbert spaces, we obtain a general variant of bilinear interpolation theorem. Combining this result with the abstract Grothendieck theorem of Pisier yields further results. The results are applied in deriving a bilinear interpolation theorem for Calderón-Lozanovsky, for Orlicz spaces and an embedding interpolation formula for (E,p)-summing operators.  相似文献
