Summary In this paper, a model of cusped catastrophe at nonlinear dynamic buckling of a symmetrically laminated cylindrically orthotropic
shallow spherical shell is presented. The shell is subjected to an axisymmetrical load. Effects of transverse shear are taken
into account. Effects of the shear modulus, geometry and parameters of the material on the nonlinear dynamic buckling are
discussed.

The nonlinear thermal buckling of symmetrically laminated cylindrically orthotropic shallow spherical shell under temperature field and uniform pressure including transverse shear is studied. Also the analytic formulas for determining the critical buckling loads under different temperature fields are obtained by using the modified iteration method. A set of nonlinearly coupled algebraic and differential eigenvalue equations of nonlinear axisymmetric free vibration of orthotropic shallow thin spherical and conical shells are formulated.following an assumed time-mode approach suggested in this paper. Analytic solutions are presented and an asymptotic relation for the amplitude-frequency response of the shells is derived. Based on the differential equation of the nonlinear bending of shallow sphericalshells with variable thickness under axisymmetrical loads,this paper studies thenumerical solution of the nonlinear differential equation by means of interpolatingmatrix method.The analysis of the results indicates that the suggested method is easyto implement and obtains the same high accuracy for both the displacements and theinternal forces. 相似文献

The problem of axisymmetric nonlinear vibration for shallow thin spherical and conical shells when temperature and strain fields are coupled is studied. Based on the large deflection theories of yon Ktirrntin and the theory of thermoelusticity, the whole governing equations and their simplified type are derived. The time-spatial variables are separated by Galerkin ‘ s technique, thus reducing the governing equations to a system of time-dependent nonlinear ordinary differential equation. By means of regular perturbation method and multiple-scales method, the first-order approximate analytical solution for characteristic relation of frequency vs amplitude parameters along with the decay rate of amplitude are obtained, and the effects of different geometric parameters and coupling factors us well us boundary conditions on thermoelustically coupled nonlinear vibration behaviors are discussed. 相似文献

研究计及横向剪切的复合材料层合扁球壳在爆炸冲击载荷作用下的非线性轴对称动力屈曲问题。通过在复合材料层合扁球壳非线性稳定性的基本方程中增加横向转动惯量项并引入R.H.Cole理论的爆炸冲击力,得到爆炸冲击下复合材料层合扁球壳的动力控制方程,应用Galerkin方法得到用顶点挠度表达的爆炸冲击动力响应方程,并采用Runge-Kutta方法进行数值求解,采用Budiansky-Roth准则确定冲击屈曲的临界载荷,讨论了壳体几何尺寸对复合材料层合扁球壳冲击屈曲的影响;数值算例表明,此方法是可行的。 相似文献

Based on the variational equation of the nonlinear bending theory of doubledeck reticulated shallow shells, equations of large deflection and boundary conditions for a double-deck reticulated circular shallow spherical shell under a uniformly distributed pressure are derived by using coordinate transformation means and the principle of stationary complementary energy. The characteristic relationship and critical buckling pressure for the shell with two types of boundary conditions are obtained by taking the modified iteration method. In this paper, we treat the nonlinear stability problem of shallow spherical shells with large values ofk(k=12(1–v) · 2f/h,f = shell rise,h = shell thickness) under the action of uniformly distributed line load along a circle concentric with the shell boundary. Load-deflection curves are computed at successive increments of uniformly distributed line loads by using both cubic B-spline approximations and iterative techniques. Our algorithm yields fairly good convergent results for values ofk as large as 400. The limiting case in which shells are loaded along a circle of small radius has been specially investigated and the computed critical loads are compared with those obtained with central point loads by other authors. 相似文献

The free-parameter perturbation method is applied to solve the problems of nonlinear stability of spherical shallow shells under uniform load. As a modified perturbation method, the free-parameter perturbation method enables researchers to obtain all characteristic relations without choosing the certain perturbation parameter. In the present paper, experimental studies on dynamic plasticbuckling of circular cylindrical shells under axial impact are
carried out. Hopkinson bar and drop hammer apparatus are used for dynamic loading. Three groups of circular cylindrical shells
made of copper are tested under axial impact. From the experiments, the first critical velocity corresponding to the axi-symmetric
buckling mode and the second critical velocity corresponding to the non-axisymmetric buckling mode are determined. The present
results come close to those of second critical velocity given by Wang Ren[4–6]. Two different kinds of non-axisymmetric buckling modes oval-shaped and triangle shaped are founded. The buckling modes under
two loading cases, viz. with small mass but high velocity and with large mass and low velocity using Hopkinson bar and drop
hammer, are different. Their critical energies are also discussed.

Assuming the deformation of the shell has an axial symmetrical form, we transform Marguerre's equations into difference equations, and use these equations to discuss the buckling of an elastic thin shallow spherical shell subjected to impact loads. 基于瞬时变分原理与样条函数理论,建立扁球壳的动力方程,引入样条参数及其对时间的导数作为状态变量,导出状态方程,对空间域,采用样条有限元法,对时间域,采用现代控制论中的状态空间法,此外,建立了一种状态变量的递推计算格式,在计算过程中,不解线性方程组,也不需采用解耦技术,只要作矩阵运算,可直接算出动力响应量,文末给出的数值算例表明本文方法是可靠 与有效的。 相似文献
