A new thiophosphoramide-based electrochemical ligand was synthesized and used as a bivalent metallic cation sensor. Electrochemical studies reveal a sensitive detection process toward various cations such as Fe2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cd2+, Cu2+ and Ca2+. The chelation process was accompanied by dramatic changes in the redox properties of the free ligand. Interestingly, the ligand shows a simultaneous sensing behavior towards iron and copper cations. The oxidation peak potentials of the two complexes can be well separated, allowing sensitive detection. Furthermore, UV–Visible spectra showed redshifts of absorbance bands of the free ligand in the presence of cations due to the coordination of the thiophosphoryl groups. Electrochemical and UV–Visible studies confirmed that the metal-ligand complexes have 1:2 stoichiometry.  相似文献

The phthalonitrile (3) and triazole substituted metallo phthalocyanines (MPc) (4–7) were prepared. The novel compounds were characterized with spectroscopic data. Electrochemical analyses of metallophthalocyanines (4–7) bearing triazole substituents were performed to investigate redox activity of phthalocyanines (Pcs) ring. While incorporation of Ni2+ and Cu2+ cations in the Pc core only influenced peak positions of Pc ring processes, Co2+ and Cl1?Fe3+ cations of CoPc and FePc gave extra redox couples to the Pc based ones. Releasing the axial Cl1? anion on Fe3+ cation of FePc during the reduction reactions complicated the redox responses. Redox reactions of Co2+ and Fe3+ metal centers also considerable influenced spectral and color responses of these complexes.  相似文献

Derivatives of bis(phenylhydrazono-1H-tetrazol-5-yl-acetonitriles) with oxygen and sulphur atoms in the structure of aliphatic chains were successfully synthesised. The correlation between the ligand structure and its complexation properties was investigated by absorption spectroscopy. The formation of complexes of presented compounds with metal cations (Cu2+, Ni2+, Zn2+, Co2+, Fe2+ and Pb2+) was studied. Ligands 58 were additionally applied as ion carriers in ion-selective membrane electrodes. Membranes of ion-selective electrodes doped with these ligands are selective to Cu2+ and Pb2+ cations.  相似文献

Layered compounds based on hydrous manganese dioxides (hereafter, Mn-phases) saturated with alkaline-earth cations were synthesized at 3–6°C. These phases are analogues of manganese minerals from oceanic iron-manganese sediments (vernadite, birnessite, buserite-I, an asbolan-like phase, and a hybrid phase). All the Mn-phases, as a rule, had poorly ordered structures. The sorption properties of these phases were studied with respect to alkali-metal cations (Na+, K+), an s-metal cation (Ba2+), a p-metal cation (Pb2+), and d-metal cations (Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+ and Cd2+). The exchange capacities of the Mn-phases were 0.45–1.06 mg-equiv/g for the alkali cations and 0.94–5.78 mg-equiv/g for the other cations. The phase composition of the Mn-phase did not affect the alkali cation sorption but affected the divalent cation sorption. The divalent cation exchange capacity increased from well-ordered birnessite to poorly ordered vernadite.  相似文献

A new 14-membered crown ether with nitrogen–sulfur donor atom carrying two anthryl groups was designed and synthesized by the reaction of the corresponding macrocyclic compound and 9-(chloromethyl) anthracene. The influence of metal cations such as Al3+, Zn2+, Fe2+, Fe3+, Co2+, Ni2+, Mn2+, Cu2+, Cd2+, Hg2+ and Pb2+ on the spectroscopic properties of the ligand was investigated in acetonitrile–dioxane solution (1/1) by means of absorption and emission spectrometry. The results of spectrophotometric titration experiments disclosed the complexation stoichiometry and complex stability constant of the novel ligand with Fe2+, Fe3+, Al3+, Cd2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Pb2+ and Hg2+ cations. Absorption spectra show isobestic points in the spectrophotometric titration of these cations. The presence of excess of Al3+, Zn2+, Fe2+, Fe3+, Co2+, Ni2+, Mn2+, Cu2+, Cd2+, Hg2+ and Pb2+ cations caused an enhancement of anthryl fluorescence. Especially, the enhancement in case of the interaction of Hg2+ and Al3+ cations with the ligand was pronounced.  相似文献

Poly(2-acrylamido glycolic acid-co-acrylamide), P(AGA-co-AAm), and poly(2-acrylamido glycolic acid-co-4-acryloylmorpholine), P(AGA-co-AMo), were synthesized by radical polymerization. The water-soluble polymers containing tertiary amine, amide, hydroxyl, and carboxylic acid groups were investigated as polychelatogen, in view of their metal ion binding properties by using the liquid-phase polymer-based retention technique under different experimental conditions. The retention properties for the following metal ions were investigated: Ag+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+, Pb2+, Al2+, Cr3+ and Fe3+. P(AGA-co-AMo) showed a selective retention for tri-valent cation Al3+ at pH 3, but no retention at higher pH. P(AGA-co-AAm) showed the highest metal ion retention capability, specially at pH 5 and pH 7 with values close to 100% to di-valent cations.  相似文献

Four cone calix[4]arene-1,2-crown ethers each with two ionisable side arms containing dansyl groups are synthesised. The crown ether ring on the lower rim is varied from crown-4 to crown-5 with hydrogen or tert-butyl groups on the para position of the upper rim. Di(tetramethylammonium) salts of the di-ionised ligands are utilised for spectrofluorimetric titration experiments in MeCN. The influence of alkali metal, alkaline earth metal and selected transition and heavy metal (Co2+, Fe2+, Hg2+, Mn2+, Pb2+, Zn2+ and Fe3+) cations on the spectroscopic properties of the two dansyl groups linked to the lower rim of the conformationally locked, di-ionised calix[4]arene-1,2-crown ether frameworks is investigated by emission spectrophotometry. All of the metal cations induce red shifts in the emission spectra of the di-ionised ligands. The metal cations produce enhancement or quenching of the fluorescence emissions. Changes in the fluorescence emission as a function of the metal cation identity, the lower rim crown ether ring size and the absence or presence of upper rim tert-butyl groups are investigated.  相似文献

Syntheses of N,N′-phenyltetrazole podands link with aliphatic chains containing oxygen, nitrogen and sulphur atoms, are described. The complexing properties of these compounds towards metal cations (Fe2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Co2+, Ni2+) were investigated by absorption and infrared spectroscopy. The UV–Vis titrations were performed to estimate the stability constant values of the respective complexes with Cu2+ ion. Changes in UV–Vis absorption spectra and IR spectra of compound 6 under various concentrations of Cu2+ ion in methanol suggest formation of very unstable complex. The structure of ligand 2 has been deduced by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Absorption spectra show isosbestic points in the spectrophotometric titration of Al3+, Zn2+, Fe2+, Fe3+, Cu2+, Hg2+ and Pb2+ the results of which disclosed the complexation compositions and complex stability constants of the novel ligands with these cations. The monoazapentathia crown ether showed sensitivity for Al3+ with linear range and detection limit of 2.6 × 10−6 M–2.6 × 10−5 M and 8.1 × 10−7 M, respectively.  相似文献

Calix[4]arene derivatives functionalized by ester and carboxamide groups on the lower rim and sulfonamide groups on the upper rim were synthesized, and their complexing properties toward transition metal salts (Mn2+, Fe2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+) were studied by extraction in chloroform-water system. Absorption spectra show isosbestic points in the spectrophotometric titration of Al3+, Zn2+, Fe2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, and Pb2+ with 16-membered crown ether. Similar results were obtained for Al3+, Fe2+, Hg2+, Cu2+ and Pb2+ with 14-membered crown ether. The results of spectrophotometric titration experiments disclosed the complexation stoichiometry and complex stability constants of the novel ligands with these cations. According to spectrofluorimetric titration measurements the 14-membered diazadithia crown ether showed sensitivity for Pb2+ with linear range and detection limit of 1.3 × 10?6 to 5.2 × 10?5 M and 5.2 × 10?7 M, respectively. The 16-membered diazadithia crown ether showed sensitivity for Ni2+ with linear range and detection limit of 1.3 × 10?7 to 5.2 × 10?6 M and 4.1 × 10?8 M, respectively.  相似文献

The influence of metal cations (Li+, Na+, K+, Rb+, Cs+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, Ag+, Cd2+, Co2+, Fe2+, Hg2+, Mn2+, Pb2+, Zn2+ and Fe3+) on the spectroscopic properties of two dansyl (1-dimethylaminonaphthalene-5-sulfonyl) groups linked to the lower rims of a series of three, structurally related, di-ionized calix[4]arenes was investigated by means of absorption and emission spectrophotometry. Di(tetramethylammonium) salts of the di-ionized ligands, (TMA)2L1, (TMA)2L2 and (TMA)2L3, which differ in having zero, two and four tert-butyl groups, respectively, on the upper rim of the calix[4]arene scaffold were utilized for the spectrofluorimetric titration experiments in acetonitrile. On complexation by alkaline earth metal cations, both the absorption and emission spectra undergo marked red shifts and quenching of the dansyl fluorescence. These effects are weaker with alkali metal cations. Transition metal cations interact strongly with the ligands. In particular, Fe3+, Hg2+ and Pb2+ cause greater than 97% quenching of the dansyl fluorescence in the di-ionized ligands.  相似文献

The synthesis of two new green fluorescent poly(propyleneimine) dendrimers from first generation has been described. The new materials are comprised of a 1,8-naphthalimide fluorophore having a substituent at C-4 position. The substituent in the first case is a N,N-dimethylaminoethylamino group while in the second one it is N-methylpiperazine. The spectroscopic and photophysical characteristics of the new dendrimers determined in organic solvent of different polarity have been presented. Both dendrimers show substantial increases in their fluorescence intensity in the presence of metal cations (Zn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Pb2+, Mn2+, Cu2+, Fe3+ and Ag+) and protons. The influence of the photoinduced electron transfer on their sensing properties has been discussed.  相似文献

The stability constants of 1: 1 complexes of Mg2+, Ca2+, Cd2+, Co2+, Cu2+, Fe2+, Mn2+, Ni2+, and Zn2+ with 29 N-donor ligands (ammonia, alkylamines, aniline, pyridine, imidazole, pyrazole, benzimidazole, isoquinoline, and their alkyl-and halogen-substituted derivatives) in aqueous solutions at 298 K were calculated by integration of the ligand distribution function. The stability constants are determined by the effective charge on the electron donor atom of the ligand and by the sizes of the cation and ligand, as well as by the degree of covalence of the coordination bond.  相似文献

A new fluorescent first generation poly(propylene amine) dendrimer (PPI), peripherally modified with 4(butylamino-substituted-1,8-naphthalimide), has been synthesized and characterized. Its photophysical characteristics in organic solvents of different polarities were studied, and the influence of sodium hydroxide on its spectral characteristics in N,N-dimethylformamide is discussed. The complexes formed between the dendrimer and metal cations in solution have been studied with regard to the potential applications of the new dendrimer as a colorimetric and fluorescent sensor for metal ions. The fluorescence intensity of the dendrimer in the presence of metal cations (Zn2+, Co2+, Pb2+, Mn2+, Cu2+ and Fe3+) increases substantially revealing its sensor potential.  相似文献
