在最终产品市场存在古诺竞争的条件下,构建了拥有成本降低型技术创新的分权组织企业的技术许可博弈模型.利用动态博弈的逆向归纳求解方法,分析了固定费用许可和纯产量提成许可两种许可机制.研究结果表明:非显著创新下的最优策略取决于创新规模的大小,显著创新下的最优策略为固定费用许可.最后,对集权和分权两种组织结构下的最优许可策略做了比较分析. 相似文献

The most important problems for corporate planners in industry are planning the cash flow to ensure growth and helping the company to see itself, explicitly, as a portfolio and to assist the development of that portfolio. Planners have dismissed the role of operational research groups and O.R. techniques and basically simple techniques, usually developed by general consultants, have made a considerable impact, particularly "Boston" concepts of portfolio management. Planning processes are dominated by human judgement and the work of Godel is invoked to suggest that the use of better models to influence these corporate decisions is a forlorn hope. O.R. groups should concentrate on helping to solve perceived and real problems after seeking to display alternatives better, rather than to optimise. They should concern themselves more with improving the quality of presentation and ensuring the clarity of basically simple messages. 相似文献

A model that selects and produces products at an equilibrium point in multi-unit manufacturing systems is presented. It enables each business subsystem in the company to select and produce products so that the whole organization meets both internal and external demands at minimum inventory cost. Unlike previously proposed models, this model does not place any restrictions on the number of products or services that each business subsystem can provide. Proofs are provided to show existence of solutions and solvability, and a numerical example is given to demonstrate the utility of the model. 相似文献

This paper examines the problem of choosing an organization structure for decision-making for two-level organizations under various information conditions. Decentralized decision-making (DDM), centralized decision-making with reporting by division (CDRD), and centralized decision-making (CDM) are considered. The information conditions pertain to the observability of states and actions. It is shown that if the party not making the decisions can infer the choice of action from the ex post knowledge of the state, then DDM and CDRD are essentially equivalent in that it is possible to devise optimal incentive schemes in both cases. If, however, the action choice cannot be inferred, then CDRD is at least as preferred as DDM by the centre (regulator). If ex post observation (or inference) of the state can be made only by the party making the decision, we show that the centre (regulator) prefers CDRD to DDM. For this case, we derive an incentive scheme which elicits truthful information from the division (regulated entity). Finally, the incentive schemes are applied to the problem of regulating an industry that pollutes the environment. 相似文献

Two organizational structures for a retail chain are examined fortheir effect on the rate of firm innovation. A centralized organization isdefined as one in which store practices are mandated from corporateheadquarters (HQ) and this results in HQ being the sole source of new ideas.A decentralized organization gives freedom to store managers to adopt theirown ideas and disseminates innovations made by store managers. Thedifference in average profit between the centralized and decentralizedorganizations is found to be a non-monotonic function of innovativeopportunities. The centralized organization is preferred when innovativeopportunities are moderate while the decentralized organization is preferredwhen such opportunities are rich. Optimal decentralized regulation is considered for a class of flow networks where, at each intersection, a selective switch links a single input–output pair at anytime. It is shown that a special case of the above is an urban traffic network with signalized intersection. We analyze first the traffic situation of an isolated intersection based on the point-queuing model of traffic and model the intersection dynamics via two states: either unsaturated or saturated. According to the different traffic characteristics of the two states, we design two intersection controllers and then combine them into one hybrid controller. This hybrid controller is extended to the multi-intersection case and becomes a decentralized hybrid intersection controller. A simulation study is given in this paper and it shows that this decentralized hybrid intersection control method can improve the performance of traffic networks and by extension the performance of more general flow networks. 相似文献

The problem of optimal control of a group of coupled dynamical objects is considered. The cases are examined in which the centralized control of a group of objects is impossible. Fast real-time optimal control algorithms of each of the dynamical systems are described that use information exchanged between group members in the course of control. The proposed methods supplement the earlier developed real-time optimal control methods for an individual dynamical system. This paper addresses the issue of the optimal flow allocation in general supply chains. Our basic observation is that a distribution channel involving several reselling steps for a particular product can be viewed as a route in a supply chain network. The flow of goods or services along each route is influenced by the customer's demand, described by the corresponding utility functions, and prices charged at each node. We develop an optimization algorithm based on the primal-dual framework and the Newton's step that computes optimal prices at each node (dual problem) and then computes the optimal flow allocation (primal problem) based on these prices. Our main contribution is a discovery that the Newton's step leads to a partially decentralized algorithm which is a first step toward a decentralization schema for computing optimal prices. 相似文献

This paper presents a decentralized method for computing Pareto-optimal solutions in multiparty negotiations over continuous issues. The method is based on the well known weighting method which is decomposed by introducing an own decision variable for each decision maker and by applying the dual decomposition method to the resulting problem. The method offers a systematic way for generating some or all Pareto-optimal solutions so that decision makers do not have to know each others' value functions. Under the assumption of quasilinear value function the requirement that a decision maker knows the explicit form for his value function can be relaxed. This paper studies a decentralized routing problem over a network, using the paradigm of mean-field games with large number of players. Building on a state-space extension technique, we turn the problem into an optimal control one for each single player. The main contribution is an explicit expression of the optimal decentralized control which guarantees the convergence both to local and to global equilibrium points. Furthermore, we study the stability of the system also in the presence of a delay which we model using an hysteresis operator. As a result of the hysteresis, we prove existence of multiple equilibrium points and analyze convergence conditions. The stability of the system is illustrated via numerical studies. 相似文献

By means of several examples of structural operational semantics for a variety of languages, we justify the importance and interest of using the notions of strategies and simulations in the semantic framework provided by rewriting logic and implemented in the Maude metalanguage. On the one hand, we describe a basic strategy language for Maude and show its application to CCS, the ambient calculus, and the parallel functional language Eden. On the other hand, we show how the concept of stuttering simulation can be used inside Maude to show that a stack machine correctly implements the operational semantics of a simple functional language. 相似文献

The problem of the decentralized robust control for a class of large-scale interconnected nonlinear dynamical systems with input interconnection and external interconnection perturbations is considered. Based on the stabilizability of each nominal isolated subsystem (i.e., the isolated subsystem in the absence of interconnection perturbations), a class of decentralized local state feedback controllers is proposed, and some sufficient conditions are derived by making use of the Lyapunov stability criterion such that uncertain large-scale interconnected systems can be stabilized asymptotically by these decentralized state feedback controllers. For large-scale systems with only input interconnection perturbations, such decentralized controllers become a class of decentralized stabilizing state feedback controllers. That is, the decentralized stability of such large-scale systems can be guaranteed always by using the decentralized state feedback controllers proposed in the paper. Decentralized iterative learning control for a class of large scale interconnected dynamical systems

The problem of decentralized iterative learning control for a class of large scale interconnected dynamical systems is considered. In this paper, it is assumed that the considered large scale dynamical systems are linear time-varying, and the interconnections between each subsystem are unknown. For such a class of uncertain large scale interconnected dynamical systems, a method is presented whereby a class of decentralized local iterative learning control schemes is constructed. It is also shown that under some given conditions, the constructed decentralized local iterative learning controllers can guarantee the asymptotic convergence of the local output error between the given desired local output and the actual local output of each subsystem through the iterative learning process. Finally, as a numerical example, the system coupled by two inverted pendulums is given to illustrate the application of the proposed decentralized iterative learning control schemes. 相似文献
