We study the abruptly autofocusing and autodefocusing properties of the circular Airy Gaussian vortex(CAi GV)beams in strongly nonlocal nonlinear medium for the first time through numerical simulations.The magnitude of topological charges and the position of the vortex could change not only the light spot pattern but also the intensity contrast.Meanwhile,we can change the position of the autofocusing and autodefocusing planes by changing the parameter of the incident beam.Furthermore,we can control the peak intensity contrast through choosing properly the truncation factor.As for the radiation force,we study the gradient and the scattering forces of CAi GV beams on Rayleigh dielectric sphere.Our analyses demonstrate that the radiation force can be enhanced by choosing proper parameters of CAi GV beams.  相似文献

By phase-modulating ring Airy Gaussian beams, ring Airy-like beams propagating along predesigned parabolic trajectories are presented which combine the properties of accelerating beams and abruptly autofocusing beams analytically and numerically for the first time. The enhancement of the quadratic term ratio α shortens the autofocus distance and increases the slope of the beams after autofocusing. Interestingly, the main lobe tends to break into pieces as α increases and the possible reasons have been discussed. Furthermore, the distribution factor β and the radius of the primary r0 can prominently affect the autofocus distance and the intensity at the focal point but do not change the slope of the beams after the autofocusing. In addition, the self-healing properties are validated to be retainable while RAiG beams via predesigned parabolic trajectories with various α.  相似文献

Vortex splitting is one of the main causes of instability in orbital angular momentum(OAM) modes transmission. Recent advances in OAM modes free-space propagation have demonstrated that abruptly autofocusing Airy vortex beams(AAVBs) can potentially mitigate the vortex splitting effect. However, different modes of vortex embedding will affect the intensity gradients of the background beams, leading to changes in the propagation characteristics of vortex beams. This study presents the unification of two common methods of coupling autofocusing Airy beams with vortices by introducing a parameter(m), which also controls the intensity gradients and focusing properties of the AAVBs. We demonstrate that vortex splitting can be effectively reduced by selecting an appropriate value of the parameter(m) according to different turbulence conditions. In this manner,the performance of OAM-based free-space optical systems can be improved.  相似文献

Numerically and experimentally circular arrayed‐Airy vortex beams (CAAVBs) are demonstrated, of which propagation dynamics and autofocusing performance are investigated. In contrast to the classical circular Airy beams, the focal intensity of CAAVBs can be abruptly enhanced several orders of magnitude by introducing vortex arrays (VAs) and increasing Airy arrays number, and the autofocusing performance markedly increases in the focal plane due to introducing VAs. The position of the focal point can be readily controlled by varying the circular arrayed Airy radius is also demonstrated. Experimental results agree with the numerical calculations. These advantages could be beneficial for potential applications in optical trapping, the generation of high intensity laser, medical treatment, and nonlinear effect.  相似文献

We numerically and experimentally demonstrate that a three-Airy autofocusing beam can be generated by superposing three deformed two-dimensional(2 D) Airy beams with a triangle symmetry. When the initial angle between two wings of the deformed 2 D Airy beams increases, such a three-Airy autofocusing beam exhibits that the focusing length decreases and the intensity contrast at the focal point changes. Moreover, after introducing an optical vortex phase, this three-Airy autofocusing beam displays a transverse rotation in propagation. The rotation angle is determined by the topological charge of the vortex and the initial wing angle. Our results may have some potential applications in optical manipulation.  相似文献

We demonstrate analytically and experimentally that a circular abruptly autofocusing (AAF) Airy beam can be generated by Fourier-transforming an appropriately apodized Bessel beam whose radial oscillations are chirped by a cubic phase term. Depending on the relation between the chirp rate and the focal distance of the Fourier-transforming lens, it is possible to generate AAF beams with one or two foci, the latter case leading to the formation of an elegant paraboloid optical bottle.  相似文献

通过光学焦散线方法对碳纤维布加固含裂纹梁进行三点弯荷载下的静荷载和冲击实验,研究了其断裂特性。在静态实验研究中,记录了不同载荷状态下裂纹的焦散斑光学图像,计算了与之对应的裂纹尖端的应力强度因子,分析了试件在粘贴加固不同长度的碳纤维布情况下焦散斑和应力强度因子演化规律。在动态实验中,记录了裂纹扩展的过程和在此过程中不同时刻的焦散斑和裂纹扩展的路线。通过各瞬间的焦散斑图像,分析裂纹的扩展长度及速度,并得到各时刻的动态应力强度因子。  相似文献

Light-field shaping technology plays an important role in optics and nanophotonics. For instance, the spatially structured light field, which exhibits characteristic features in complex phases, light intensity, and polarization, is crucial to understanding new physical phenomena and exploring practical applications. Herein, we propose and demonstrate a new class of tunable circular Pearcey beams(TCPBs) by imposing the annular spiral-zone phase(ASZP). Through experiments, we used a spatial light modulator to generate TCPBs based on their spiral phase distribution, and numerically analyzed the generation and control of the beams with unusual autofocusing and self-rotating dynamics. ASZP is a general term for complex phases composed of the spiral phase,equiphase, and radial phase. TCPB typically exhibits dynamical properties, including abrupt autofocusing, automatic generation of optical bottles, and self-rotation of the beam pattern, during propagation. Besides, the number of generated optical bottles can be modulated by the superposition mode of ASZP and the number of subphases. We found that an inappropriate superposition mode leads to distortion, and we analyzed the underlying mechanism. Potential applications of TCPBs in optical manipulation are also discussed, presenting an exemplary role desired for light-field manipulation.  相似文献

We report on the experimental observation of abruptly autofocusing waves. This interesting family of wave packets has been realized by using a radially symmetric Airy intensity distribution. As demonstrated in our experiments, these waves can exhibit unusual features, such as the ability to autofocus by following a parabolic trajectory toward their focus.  相似文献

利用理查德-沃耳夫矢量衍射积分,分析了初级球差对圆偏振涡旋贝塞耳-高斯光束聚焦光场的影响,获得不同球差系数下的光强分布.结果表明,当初级球差系数增加,会聚光点偏离系统焦平面,纵向光场发生改变;焦点光强逐渐减小,焦平面光场发生变化;光轴上光强峰值逐渐减小,峰值两侧的旁瓣变化趋势相反,光强由对称分布变成非对称分布;初级球差对贝塞耳-高斯光束聚焦光场的影响不依赖其偏振态;离焦无法完全补偿初级球差对聚焦光场的影响.  相似文献

General Relativistic calculations in the linear regime have been made for electromagnetic beams of radiation known as optical vortices. These exotic beams of light carry a physical quantity known as optical orbital angular momentum. It is found that when a massive spinning neutral particle is placed along the optical axis, a phenomenon known as inertial frame dragging occurs. Our results are compared with those found previously for a ring laser and an order of magnitude estimate of the laser intensity needed for a precession frequency of 1 Hz is given for these “steady” beams of light.  相似文献

Approximate boundary conditions for matching the high-order nonparaxial and paraxial singular beams propagating through free space or through a homogeneous isotropic medium are formulated. It is found that the nonparaxial and paraxial beams have almost the same structure both in the vicinity of the focal caustic and away from it. In the intermediate zone, the beam profiles are distorted, and a phase mismatch arises and increases with increasing mode order. The combined nonparaxial singular beams are devised, and their dynamics is studied. It is shown that the problem of matching the paraxial and nonparaxial wave functions may be reformulated as a problem of the phase matching for nonparaxial wave function. Such a problem is similar to the mode-dispersion problem and is unsolvable in terms of a linear problem for the entire optical axis. Thus, it makes sense to discuss either the precise matching of the paraxial and nonparaxial beams within small spatial zones or an approximate matching away from the focal plane but at long distances along the optical axis.  相似文献

结构光场在光信息传输、显微成像以及微粒俘获中有重要作用.本文基于光线庞加莱球法结合不同花瓣数的梅花曲线构建了一类结构光束.根据光线庞加莱球法可计算这类光束在束腰面上的光强与相位分布,以及光束内外焦散线的分布.这些焦散线的特征表明梅花形结构光束具有无衍射与自修复的特性.进一步采用角谱衍射法和光线追迹研究了这类光束在空间中的传输特性.当梅花花瓣数为0时,该光束退化为拉盖尔-高斯光束;当花瓣数为1时,内焦散线汇集到两点,使光束具有无衍射特性.通过光线庞加莱球法获得其光线在空间传播的轨迹,直观地展示了光束被遮挡后的自修复特性.此外,本文还展示了花瓣数为5的结构光束,其内焦散线为十角星结构,该光束同样具有自修复特性.通过修改梅花曲线参数或选择其他庞加莱球面曲线可以构造更加复杂的结构光场.  相似文献

Real-time measurement of the fast axis angle of a quarter-wave plate based on simultaneous phase shifting technique is presented. The simultaneous phase shifting function is realized by an orthogonal grating, a diaphragm, an analyzer array, and a 4-quadrant detector. The intensities of the light beams from the four analyzers with different azimuths are measured simultaneously. The fast axis angle of the quarter-wave plate is obtained through the four light intensity values. In this method, rotating elements are not required, so real-time measurement is achieved.  相似文献

Stable optical levitation of transparent solid glass spheres has been demonstrated using two horizontal TEM00 laser beams. The experimental results agree with a theoretical calculation which gives the value of the lateral force pushing the sphere towards the region of maximum light intensity and maintaining it on the axis of the beam.  相似文献

研究了超高斯涡旋光束光强最大值、光斑半径以及环围能量半径等参数随传输距离和拓扑荷数的变化规律,并与高斯涡旋光束做了比较,结果表明:超高斯涡旋光束的光斑半径和环围能量半径随拓扑荷数及传输距离呈近似线性关系;对同一拓扑荷数和传输距离,高斯涡旋光束的能量较超高斯涡旋光束要发散;当拓扑荷数较大时,超高斯涡旋光束的光斑半径比高斯涡旋光束更大。针对光束质量研究了广义光束质量因子随传输距离和拓扑荷数的变化,结果表明传输距离足够远时,拓扑荷数较小的超高斯涡旋光束具有更好的光束质量。  相似文献

以艾里光束为代表的自加速光束是一类在自由空间中具有弯曲传播特性的新型特殊光束.这类光束因其具有无衍射、自加速和自修复等奇异特性引起了人们的广泛关注,有望应用于光学微粒操控、激光微加工、全光路由和超分辨成像等诸多领域.由于艾里光束只能沿着抛物线的轨迹传播,限制了其在实际应用中的灵活性,因而设计出能够沿着不同轨迹传播的自加速光束是这一研究领域的关键问题,而基于焦散线方法的自加速光束设计是解决该问题的有效途径之一.这一方法是将设计的传播轨迹与光学焦散线联系起来,通过分析形成该焦散线所需的光线簇构造出对应的初始场分布.基于该原理并经过不断发展,不同类型的自加速光束相继得以实现,并且借助维格纳函数还可以同时实现实空间和傅里叶空间的自加速光束设计,为自加速光束的应用提供了更多的可能性.本文对基于焦散线方法的自加速光束设计原理和进展进行全面介绍.  相似文献

 基于厄米-双曲余弦高斯光束通过无光阑限制薄透镜聚焦的解析传输公式,研究了厄米-双曲余弦高斯光束聚焦区域的光强分布,并对光束的焦移进行了分析,讨论了偏心参数对光强主极大位置的影响。结果表明:TEM11模厄米-双曲余弦高斯光束的相对焦移(绝对值)随偏心参数和菲涅尔数的减小而增大,菲涅尔数较大时相对焦移趋于零。TEM22模光束在偏心参数小于0.54时,轴外与轴上光强极大值的比值大于1,此时光强主极大在轴外,偏心参数大于0.54时则相反;在偏心参数等于0.54时比值为1,此时光束有两个主极大,偏心参数愈大光强愈集中于轴上。使用LW法和GH法得到的TEM22模光束的相对焦移(绝对值)随偏心参数和菲涅尔数的变化规律与TEM11模光束一致,但相同参数下使用这两种方法得出的具体结果不同。  相似文献

基于广义Mie理论, 研究了椭球粒子对在轴入射的拉盖尔-高斯光束的散射特性. 通过局域近似法求解椭球坐标系中的波束因子, 计算得到了波束因子之间满足的普遍关系. 对散射强度随椭球粒子不同尺寸参数和扁圆程度的变化特性进行了数值计算, 并针对不同拓扑荷时的散射强度进行了对比分析. 结果表明: 当椭球粒子尺寸在与入射光波长可比拟的范围内变化时, 散射强度随尺寸参数的增大而增大, 随椭球长短轴之比和拓扑荷的增大而减小. 本文的理论研究能够为拉盖尔-高斯光束在粒径测量、大气激光通信、 大气遥感等领域的应用提供更准确的粒子模型和参考价值. 关键词: 椭球粒子 拉盖尔-高斯光束 波束因子 散射强度  相似文献

Dielectric microspheres can confine light in a three-dimensional (3D) region called photonic nanojet is shown when they are illuminated by different polarized beams. The influence of incident light polarization on photonic nanojet using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is demostrated. The axial field intensity profiles of photonic nanojets for both the linear and circular polarization incident beams are very similar. Azimuthal polarization incident beam induces a doughnut beam along the optical axis, while the radial polarization incident beam permits one to reach an effective volume as small as 0.7(λ/n) 3 .  相似文献
