利用固体可饱和吸收体砷化镓(GaAs)作为被动调Q元件,实现了激光二极管抽运平-凹腔掺钕钒酸钇(Nd:YVO4)激光调Q运转,详细测量了砷化镓被动调QNd:YVO4激光输出特性,获得脉宽15ns,重复频率470kHz,光束质量M^2=1.31的激光输出,调Q激光运转阈值为500mW,并数值求解了砷化镓被动调Q速率方程,讨论了被动调Q机理以及调Q脉冲宽度和脉冲重复频率对抽运速率的依赖关系,理论计算结果与实验结果相一致。 相似文献

分析了利用光纤中的受激布里渊散射(stimulated Brillouin scattering,SBS)相位共轭效应进行激光腔内调Q,产生ns量级脉冲激光的原理,并对利用该效应产生的激光脉冲波形和脉冲形成过程进行了数值模拟,得到的脉冲波形与SBS相位共轭反射率随时间变化曲线基本一致,表明利用光纤中的SBS相位共轭作用调Q具有可行性.据此,对采用单模光纤(single-mode fiber,SMF)作为SBS池的Er3+掺杂调Q光纤激光器进行实验研究.当单模光纤长度为1.5 m时,在45 mW的光抽运功率下得到脉宽约2.6ns,脉冲周期58.23ns,平均功率7.35mW的激光脉冲.进一步的研究表明:激光器中相位共轭镜的形成与SBS介质长度有关,SBS介质过长,斯托克斯线之间无固定的相位关系,不能形成相干叠加,SBS相位共轭腔不能形成;SBS介质过短,腔内正交偏振模光子寿命的改变使脉冲出现双峰现象.脉冲形成后其属性只与SBS动态属性有关. 相似文献

稳定可调谐的单纵模多环形腔掺铒光纤激光器 总被引:1,自引:1,他引:1
提出了一种多环形腔(MRC)结构的稳定可调的单纵模(SLM)掺铒光纤激光器,多环形腔结构由双环形有源腔和两个次级无源腔组成.这种激光器是利用光纤法布里珀罗可调滤波器(FFP-TF)以及光学光栅滤波器(OGF)两种滤波器和多环形腔结构相结合来共同选模.可实现波长调节范围为1528~1565 nm,在整个波长调节范围内边模抑制比大于44.53 dB,在1554 nm附近边模抑制比可以达到最大值51.18 dB, 输出功率为-8.84 dBm,通过应用多环型腔结构,激光器的输出很稳定,在18 min的观察时间内,中心波长的变化小于0.02 nm,输出功率的变化小于0.04 dBm,实现了稳定且可调谐的单纵模输出. 相似文献

通过单模光纤和少模光纤熔融拉锥耦合的方法制备出模式转换器,而后将一层多壁的碳纳米管薄膜作为可饱和吸收体覆盖到拉锥光纤的锥区,形成一种可饱和吸收体柱矢量光器件.结合调Q光纤激光器和模式转换器件的优势,可以简单高效地产生脉冲柱矢量光束,并得到具有峰值功率高、模式纯度高等特点的脉冲高阶模式激光输出.通过实验实现了中心波长为1560nm、最大单脉冲能量和最大峰值功率分别为116nJ和57mW的稳定调Q脉冲输出.通过调节光路中的偏振控制器,可以分别实现径向和角向偏振的调Q脉冲激光的输出. 相似文献

Q-switched pulsed laser systems operating in the eye-safe wavelength region (λ〉 1.4 μm) are promis- ing for applications such as light detection and ranging (lidar), differential absorption lidar, optical communi- cation, sensor and instrumentations. Fiber lasers are particularly attractive for such applications due to the fact that the beam quality can be independent of output power and they can be robustly engineered. There is an increasing interest in Q-switched erbium- doped fiber lasers (EDFLs), which can be generated by using either active or passive techniques. Com- pared with the actively Q-switched ones, passively Q- switched EDFLs have attracted much attention for their advantages of compactness, low cost, flexibility and simplicity of design. Different kinds of saturable absorbers, such as the transition metal-doped crys- tals and semiconductor quantum-well structures, have been applied to realize Q-switched EDFLs.How- ever, when they are used in the laser cavity, additional alignment devices, such as lens, mirrors or U-bench units, have to be applied. We demonstrate a Q-switched Raman fiber laser using molybdenum disulfide(MoS_2) as a saturable absorber(SA).The SA is assembled by depositing a mechanically exfoliated MoS_2 onto a fiber ferrule facet before it is matched with another clean ferrule via a connector.It is inserted in a Raman fiber laser cavity with a total cavity length of about 8 km to generate a Q-switching pulse train operating at 1560.2 nm.A 7.7-km-long dispersion compensating fiber with 584 ps·nm~(-1)km~(-1) of dispersion is used as a nonlinear gain medium.As the pump power is increased from 395 mW to 422 mW,the repetition rate of the Q-switching pulses can be increased from 132.7 to137.4kHz while the pulse width is concurrently decreased from 3.35μs to 3.03μs.The maximum pulse energy of 54.3nJ is obtained at the maximum pump power of 422 mW.These results show that the mechanically exfoliated MoS_2 SA has a great potential to be used for puise generation in Raman fiber laser systems. 相似文献

通过在线形谐振腔中引入一段缠绕在压电陶瓷上的单模光纤作为正弦相位调制器,使得激射波长的损耗不固定,抑制由于掺铒光纤的均匀展宽效应引起的模式竞争,从而避免了在室温下不稳定的单波长激射,实现了多波长掺铒光纤激光器的稳定输出。为了获得平坦的多波长输出,在谐振腔里使用了一个损耗峰位于1530nm处的长周期光纤光栅,以获得较为平坦的增益谱。通过两个3dB耦合器制成的反射型梳状滤波器的滤波作用,实验中观察到稳定的多波长激射,相邻波长间隔约为0.45nm。中心9个波长的输出功率平坦度为10dB,边模抑制比大于25dB。 相似文献

In this paper, we report the stabilized 10-GHz actively mode-locked fiber ring laser constructed with non-polarization-maintained fiber. Long term stabilization was achieved by synchronous modulation technology, based on an error signal extraction and procession circuit. The output pulses maintained very well over 8 hours with the pulse width of ~11 ps and the spectrum width of ~0.37 nm. Meanwhile the output power and the center wavelength of the output pulse also kept stable at 1.6 mW and 1550.3 nm respectively.
