正The electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide(CO_2) to value-added fuels and chemicals provides a promising way to realize sustainable carbon recycling [1]. Developing robust electrocatalysts with high activity and selectivity is critically important for efficient electrochemical CO_2 reduction reaction(CO_2RR). The increasing carbon dioxide emissions have a huge impact on the global environment. Carbonation reaction of CaO is regarded as a potential method to capture carbon dioxide. The density functional theory calculations have been performed to investigate the adsorption of CO_2 on CaO(100) surface. This paper systematically studied the adsorption of CO_2 at different adsorption sites on CaO(100) surface and the influence of adsorption angle on adsorption energy. Based on the studying of adsorption sites, adsorption energy and electronic structure of the CO_2/CaO(100) systems, chemical adsorption mainly happens when CO_2 molecules are absorbed on the CaO(100) surfaces, but physical adsorption may also happen. The research found that CO_2 molecules reacted with surface O atom through C, forming monodentate surface carbonate species and tridentate carbonate. Among them, low-coordinated monodentate ligands have a higher stability than tridentate ligands due to the shorter C–OS bond length of monodentate ligands.  相似文献

Benzil,1,2-diphenylethane-1,2-dione, was used as an excellent electrocatalyst for reduction of carbon dioxide, CO_2. The reduction overpotential of CO_2 was reduced about 900 m V in the presence of a benzil mediator. The chemical reaction of the product of the electrocatalytic reduction of CO_2,(activated CO_2,CO_2~(·-)) with pyridine at a glassy carbon electrode, GCE, surface and in an acetonitrile-But_4NClO_4 solution was investigated by cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry and controlled potential coulometry.By chronoamperometry, the catalytic rate constant, k, for the electron transfer between benzil and CO_2 was obtained as 8.1 ± 0.4 M~(-1)s~(-1). The results indicate that pyridine has a strong interaction with the activated CO_2. The coulometry method was used to obtain the product of the pyridine chemical reaction with CO_2~(·-). The spectral characterizations of FTIR,~1H and ~(13)C NMR of the coulometry experiment product proved that the pyridine anion radical, Py~(·-), was carboxylated by CO_2~(·-), and isonicotinic acid is the final major product.  相似文献

Solid oxide carbon dioxide electrolysers are expected to play a key role in carbon-neutral energy landscape. However, the limited activity of traditional ceramic cathodes still restricts the electrochemical performance. Here we report the doping of Mn at the B site of SrFeO_(3-δ) cathode to improve CO_2 electrolysis. The oxygen vacancy concentration is increased by ~30% with Mn doping while the surface oxygen exchange coefficients are enhanced by ~10 times. The chemisorption of CO_2 indicates the presence of chemical intermediate state between CO_2 molecule and carbonate ion on the oxygen-deficient cathode surface which therefore leads to the desorption temperature of ~800 ℃. The Mn-doped SrFeO_(3-δ) enhances CO_2 electrolysis with no performance degradation being observed even after high-temperature operation of 100 hours.  相似文献

The Pd-catalyzed addition of carbon monoxide and carbon tetrachloride to 1-octene gave coadduct [alkyl 2-( 2, 2, 2-trichloroethyl)octanoate] as the major product in supercritical carbon dioxide by using pyridine as the base. It was found that the selectivity and the yield of coadduct were greatly affected by the pressure of carbon dioxide, the reaction temperature and the amounts of alcohol and base used.  相似文献

Copolymerization of carbon dioxide with epichlorohydrin was successfully carried out by usingNd(P_(204))_3-Al(i-Bu)_3 as catalyst (P_(204))=(RO)_2 POO--,R=CH_3 (CH_2),CH(C_2H_5) CH_2--). Addi-tion of carbonyl compounds into the catalyst decreased the carbon dioxide content of the copoly-mer to some extent. Compared to nonpolar solvents, ethereal and moderate polar solvents werefavourable to obtaining higher carbon dioxide content copolymer. The coincidence of these resultswith the assumed copolymerization scheme clearly indicated that the copolymerization proceeds via coordinate anionic mechanism.  相似文献

In this work,the use of sepiolite for the removal of carbon dioxide from a carbon diox- ide/methane mixture by a pressure swing adsorption(PSA)process has been researched.Adsorption equilibrium and kinetics have been measured in a fixed-bed,and the adsorption equilibrium parameters of carbon dioxide and methane on sepiolite have been obtained.A model based on the LDF approxima- tion has been employed to simulate the fixed-bed kinetics,using the Langmuir equation to describe the adsorption equilibrium isotherm.The functioning of a PSA cycle for separating carbon dioxide/methane mixtures using sepiolite as adsorbent has also been studied.The experimental results were compared with the ones predicted by the model adapted to a PSA system.Methane with purity higher than 97% can be obtained from feeds containing carbon dioxide with concentrations ranging from 34% to 56% with the proposed PSA cycle.These results suggest that sepiolite is an adsorbent with good properties for its employment in a PSA cycle for carbon dioxide removal from landfill gases.  相似文献

The use of the insect cell/baculovirus expression system for producing recombinant proteins of bacterial, plant, insect, and mammalian origin has become widespread. The popularity of this eukaryotic expression system is due to many factors, including (1) potentially high protein expression levels, (2) ease and speed of genetic engineering, (3) ability to accommodate large DNA inserts, (4) protein processing similar to higher eukaryotic cells (e.g., mammalian cells), and (5) ease of insect cell growth (e.g., suspension growth). The following review of the literature discusses two engineering aspects of recombinant protein synthesis by insect cell cultures: bioreactor scale-up and insect cell line selection. Following this review patent abstracts and additional literature pertaining to expression of recombinant proteins in insect cell culture are listed.  相似文献

The aromaticity and antiaromaticity of the ground state (S 0), lowest triplet state (T 1), and first singlet excited state (S 1) of benzene, and the ground states (S 0), lowest triplet states (T 1), and the first and second singlet excited states (S 1 and S 2) of square and rectangular cyclobutadiene are assessed using various magnetic criteria including nucleus-independent chemical shifts (NICS), proton shieldings, and magnetic susceptibilities calculated using complete-active-space self-consistent field (CASSCF) wave functions constructed from gauge-including atomic orbitals (GIAOs). These magnetic criteria strongly suggest that, in contrast to the well-known aromaticity of the S 0 state of benzene, the T 1 and S 1 states of this molecule are antiaromatic. In square cyclobutadiene, which is shown to be considerably more antiaromatic than rectangular cyclobutadiene, the magnetic properties of the T 1 and S 1 states allow these to be classified as aromatic. According to the computed magnetic criteria, the T 1 state of rectangular cyclobutadiene is still aromatic, but the S 1 state is antiaromatic, just as the S 2 state of square cyclobutadiene; the S 2 state of rectangular cyclobutadiene is nonaromatic. The results demonstrate that the well-known "triplet aromaticity" of cyclic conjugated hydrocarbons represents a particular case of a broader concept of excited-state aromaticity and antiaromaticity. It is shown that while electronic excitation may lead to increased nuclear shieldings in certain low-lying electronic states, in general its main effect can be expected to be nuclear deshielding, which can be substantial for heavier nuclei.  相似文献
