In this paper, we establish a local representation theorem for generators of reflected backward stochastic differential equations (RBSDEs), whose generators are continuous with linear growth. It generalizes some known representation theorems for generators of backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs). As some applications, a general converse comparison theorem for RBSDEs is obtained and some properties of RBSDEs are discussed.  相似文献

In this article, using the limit theory of martingales, we study the moderate deviation for maximum likelihood estimator of unknown parameter in the stochastic partial differential equation driven by additive fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter, and the rate function can be calculated. Moreover, we apply our main result to several examples.  相似文献

The IPSP algorithm is an efficient algorithm for computing maximum likelihood estimation of Gaussian graphical models. It first divides clique marginals of graphical models into several groups, and then it adjusts clique marginals in each group locally. This paper uses the IIPS algorithm on junction tree to replace local adjustment on each group in the IPSP algorithm and propose a resulting algorithm called IPSP-JT to reduce the complexity of the IPSP algorithm. Moreover, we give a graph with minimum edges used by IIPS to adjust locally, and we prove its existence and uniqueness and construct a local junction tree. Numerical experiments show that the IPSP-JT algorithm runs faster than the IPSP algorithm for large Gaussian graphical models.  相似文献

??How to solve the inference problem of candidate database web surveys is an urgent problem to be solved in the development of web survey. In order to solve this problem, the inference method of non-probability sampling based on superpopulation pseudo design and the combined sample is proposed. A superpopulation model is firstly built up to construct pseudo weights for a survey sample of the web candidate database. The estimator of the population mean is then computed according to the combined sample composed of the survey sample of the web candidate database and a probability sample. The variance estimator of the population mean estimator is lastly derived according to the variance estimation theory of the superpopulation model. The Bootstrap and Jackknife methods are also used to compute the variance estimator. And all these variance estimation methods are compared. The research results show that the population mean estimator based on superpopulation pseudo design and the combined sample is better, and has higher efficiency than the estimator only using the probability sample and the weighted estimator only using the survey sample of the web candidate database. The variance estimator computed by using the VM1, VM2 and VM3 method are relatively better.  相似文献

Variance related premium principle is one of the most important principles not only in practice applications but also in research field of actuarial science. In this paper, the Bayesian models are established under variance related premium principle. The Bayesian estimate and credibility estimate of risk premium are derived. Furthermore, some statistical properties of estimators are discussed. In the models with multitude contract data, the unbiased consistent estimates of the structure parameters are proposed. Finally, the empirical Bayes estimator are proved to be asymptotically optimal.  相似文献

??n this paper, we propose composite quantile regression for functional linear model with dependent data, in which the errors are from a short-range dependent and strictly stationary linear process. The functional principal component analysis is employed to approximate the slope function and the functional predictive variable respectively to construct an estimator of the slope function, and the convergence rate of the estimator is obtained under some regularity conditions. Simulation studies and a real data analysis are presented for illustration of the performance of the proposed estimator.  相似文献

??This paper extends a class of discount problem of singular
stochastic control with stopping time. We extend the state process and cost function
to general case. By stochastic analysis and optimal control theory, the "fail-stop"
control strategy is its optimal control. The conditions of the "fail-stop" strategy
and optimal control function and control method are given. The conclusion in this
paper has a fairly deep application.  相似文献

??We study the linear quadratic optimal stochastic control problem which is jointly driven by Brownian motion and L\'{e}vy processes. We prove that the new affine stochastic differential adjoint equation exists an inverse process by applying the profound section theorem. Applying for the Bellman's principle of quasilinearization and a monotone iterative convergence method, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the backward Riccati differential equation. Finally, we prove that the optimal feedback control exists, and the value function is composed of the initial value of the solution of the related backward Riccati differential equation and the related adjoint equation.  相似文献

We consider a panel data semiparametric partially linear regression model with an unknown vector β of regression coefficients, an unknown nonparametric function g(·) for nonlinear component, and unobservable serially correlated errors. The correlated errors are modeled by a vector autoregressive process which involves a constant intraclass correlation. Applying the pilot estimators of β and g(·), we construct estimators of the autoregressive coefficients, the intraclass correlation and the error variance, and investigate their asymptotic properties. Fitting the error structure results in a new semiparametric two-step estimator of β, which is shown to be asymptotically more efficient than the usual semiparametric least squares estimator in terms of asymptotic covariance matrix. Asymptotic normality of this new estimator is established, and a consistent estimator of its asymptotic covariance matrix is presented. Furthermore, a corresponding estimator of g(·) is also provided. These results can be used to make asymptotically efficient statistical inference. Some simulation studies are conducted to illustrate the finite sample performances of these proposed estimators.  相似文献

We consider a panel data semiparametric partially linear regression model with an unknown parameter vector for the linear parametric component, an unknown nonparametric function for the nonlinear component, and a one-way error component structure which allows unequal error variances (referred to as heteroscedasticity). We develop procedures to detect heteroscedasticity and one-way error component structure, and propose a weighted semiparametric least squares estimator (WSLSE) of the parametric component in the presence of heteroscedasticity and/or one-way error component structure. This WSLSE is asymptotically more efficient than the usual semiparametric least squares estimator considered in the literature. The asymptotic properties of the WSLSE are derived. The nonparametric component of the model is estimated by the local polynomial method. Some simulations are conducted to demonstrate the finite sample performances of the proposed testing and estimation procedures. An example of application on a set of panel data of medical expenditures in Australia is also illustrated.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the asymptotic behavior of the B-spline estimator for semiparametric panel data model with fixed effects. We give explicit expression for the asymptotic bias of B-spline estimator for nonparametric function m. Our study shows that the asymptotic bias of the B-spline estimator does not depend on the working correlation matrix. Simulations are conducted to demonstrate our conclusion.  相似文献

The Lasso is a popular model selection and estimation procedure for linear models that enjoys nice theoretical properties. In this paper, we study the Lasso estimator for fitting autoregressive time series models. We adopt a double asymptotic framework where the maximal lag may increase with the sample size. We derive theoretical results establishing various types of consistency. In particular, we derive conditions under which the Lasso estimator for the autoregressive coefficients is model selection consistent, estimation consistent and prediction consistent. Simulation study results are reported.  相似文献

In this article, we study estimation of a partially specified spatial panel data linear regression with random-effects. Under the conditions of exogenous spatial weighting matrix and exogenous regressors, we give an instrumental variable estimation. Under certain sufficient assumptions, we show that the proposed estimator for the finite dimensional parameter is root-N consistent and asymptotically normally distributed and the proposed estimator for the unknown function is consistent and asymptotically distributed. Consistent estimators for the asymptotic variance-covariance matrices of both the parametric and unknown components are provided. The Monte Carlo simulation results verify our theory and suggest that the approach has some practical value.  相似文献

In this paper jackknifing technique is examined for functions of the parametric component in a partially linear regression model with serially correlated errors. By deleting partial residuals a jackknife-type estimator is proposed. It is shown that the jackknife-type estimator and the usual semiparametric least-squares estimator (SLSE) are asymptotically equivalent. However, simulation shows that the former has smaller biases than the latter when the sample size is small or moderate. Moreover, since the errors are correlated, both the Tukey type and the delta type jackknife asymptotic variance estimators are not consistent. By introducing cross-product terms, a consistent estimator of the jackknife asymptotic variance is constructed and shown to be robust against heterogeneity of the error variances. In addition, simulation results show that confidence interval estimation based on the proposed jackknife estimator has better coverage probability than that based on the SLSE, even though the latter uses the information of the error structure, while the former does not.  相似文献

Hazard function estimation is an important part of survival analysis. Interest often centers on estimating the hazard function associated with a particular cause of death. We propose three nonparametric kernel estimators for the hazard function, all of which are appropriate when death times are subject to random censorship and censoring indicators can be missing at random. Specifically, we present a regression surrogate estimator, an imputation estimator, and an inverse probability weighted estimator. All three estimators are uniformly strongly consistent and asymptotically normal. We derive asymptotic representations of the mean squared error and the mean integrated squared error for these estimators and we discuss a data-driven bandwidth selection method. A simulation study, conducted to assess finite sample behavior, demonstrates that the proposed hazard estimators perform relatively well. We illustrate our methods with an analysis of some vascular disease data.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with inference of panel data varying-coefficient partially linear models with a one-way error structure. The model is a natural extension of the well-known panel data linear model (due to Baltagi 1995) to the setting of semiparametric regressions. The authors propose a weighted profile least squares estimator (WPLSE) and a weighted local polynomial estimator (WLPE) for the parametric and nonparametric components, respectively. It is shown that the WPLSE is asymptotically more efficient than the usual profile least squares estimator (PLSE), and that the WLPE is also asymptotically more efficient than the usual local polynomial estimator (LPE). The latter is an interesting result. According to Ruckstuhl, Welsh and Carroll (2000) and Lin and Carroll (2000), ignoring the correlation structure entirely and "pretending" that the data are really independent will result in more efficient estimators when estimating nonparametric regression with longitudinal or panel data. The result in this paper shows that this is not true when the design points of the nonparametric component have a closeness property within groups. The asymptotic properties of the proposed weighted estimators are derived. In addition, a block bootstrap test is proposed for the goodness of fit of models, which can accommodate the correlations within groups illustrate the finite sample performances of the Some simulation studies are conducted to proposed procedures.  相似文献

Partially linear regression models with fixed effects are useful tools for making econometric analyses and normalizing microarray data. Baltagi and Li (2002) [7] proposed a computation friendly difference-based series estimation (DSE) for them. We show that the DSE is not asymptotically efficient in most cases and further propose a weighted difference-based series estimation (WDSE). The weights in it do not involve any unknown parameters. The asymptotic properties of the resulting estimators are established for both balanced and unbalanced cases, and it is shown that they achieve a semiparametric efficient boundary. Additionally, we propose a variable selection procedure for identifying significant covariates in the parametric part of the semiparametric fixed-effects regression model. The method is based on a combination of the nonconcave penalization (Fan and Li, 2001 [13]) and weighted difference-based series estimation techniques. The resulting estimators have the oracle property; that is, they can correctly identify the true model as if the true model (the subset of variables with nonvanishing coefficients) were known in advance. Simulation studies are conducted and an application is given to demonstrate the finite sample performance of the proposed procedures.  相似文献

We study the asymptotic properties of a new version of the Sparse Group Lasso estimator (SGL), called adaptive SGL. This new version includes two distinct regularization parameters, one for the Lasso penalty and one for the Group Lasso penalty, and we consider the adaptive version of this regularization, where both penalties are weighted by preliminary random coefficients. The asymptotic properties are established in a general framework, where the data are dependent and the loss function is convex. We prove that this estimator satisfies the oracle property: the sparsity-based estimator recovers the true underlying sparse model and is asymptotically normally distributed. We also study its asymptotic properties in a double-asymptotic framework, where the number of parameters diverges with the sample size. We show by simulations and on real data that the adaptive SGL outperforms other oracle-like methods in terms of estimation precision and variable selection.
