A series of the solid‐solution phosphors Lu3?x?yMnxAl5?xSixO12:yCe3+ is synthesized by solid‐state reaction. The obtained phosphors possess the garnet structure and exhibit similar excitation properties as the phosphor Lu3Al5O12:Ce3+, but with an effectively improved red component in the emission spectrum. This can be attributed to the energy transfer from Ce3+ to Mn2+. Our investigation reveals that electric dipole–quadrupole interactions dominate the energy‐transfer mechanism and that the critical distance determined by the spectral overlap method is about 9.21 Å. The color‐tunable emissions of the Lu3?x?yMnxAl5?xSixO12:yCe3+ phosphor as a function of Mn3Al2Si3O12 content are realized by continuously shifting the chromaticity coordinates from (0.354, 0.570) to (0.462, 0.494). They indicate that the obtained material may have potential application as a blue radiation‐converting phosphor for white LEDs with high‐quality white light.  相似文献

We report the characterization of the compound [K([2.2.2]crypt)]4[In8Sb13], which proves to contain a 1:1 mixture of [Sb@In8Sb12]3? and [Sb@In8Sb12]5?. The tri‐anion displays perfect Th symmetry, the first completely inorganic molecule to do so, and contains eight equivalent In3+ centers in a cube. The gas‐phase potential energy surface of the penta‐anion has eight equivalent minima where the extra pair of electrons is localized on one In+ center, and these minima are linked by low‐lying transition states where the electron pair is delocalized over two adjacent centers. The best fit to the electron density is obtained from a model where the structure of the 5? cluster lies close to the gas‐phase transition state.  相似文献

The closo‐dodecaborate [B12H12]2? is degraded at room temperature by oxygen in an acidic aqueous solution in the course of several weeks to give B(OH)3. The degradation is induced by Ag2+ ions, generated from Ag+ by the action of H2S2O8. Oxa‐nido‐dodecaborate(1?) is an intermediate anion, that can be separated from the reaction mixture as [NBzlEt3][OB11H12] after five days in a yield of 18 %. The action of FeCl3 on the closo‐undecaborate [B11H11]2? in an aqueous solution gives either [B22H22]2? (by fusion) or nido‐B11H13(OH)? (by protonation and hydration), depending on the concentration of FeCl3. In acetonitrile, however, [B11H11]2? is transformed into [OB11H12]? by Fe3+ and oxygen. The radical anions [B12H12] ˙ ? and [B11H11] ˙ ? are assumed to be the primary products of the oxidation with the one‐electron oxidants Ag2+ and Fe3+, respectively. These radical anions are subsequently transformed into [OB11H12]? by oxygen. The crystal structure analysis shows that the structure of [OB11H12]? is derived from the hypothetical closo‐oxaborane OB12H12 by removal of the B3 vertex, leaving a non‐planar pentagonal aperture with a three‐coordinate O vertex, as predicted by NMR spectra and theory.  相似文献

Crystals of the chemical composition Ba7F12Cl2 were modified by adding a small amount of Ca2+ to allow the synthesis of the corresponding bromine compound Ba[Ca]7F12Br2. These samples were prepared in a NaBr flux and characterized by single crystal x‐ray diffraction. The new structure crystallizes in a disordered arrangement in the hexagonal space group P63/m (176). The calcium ion has a coordination number of 6. Solid solutions on the heavy halide position can be synthesised in a NaCl/NaBr flux to obtain the compounds Ba7?xCaxF12(ClyBr1?y)2 with x = ~0.5 and 0 < y < 1. Regardless the amount of calcium used in the preparation process, the Ca stoichiometry in the compound is always between 0.3 and 0.5. The lattice parameters differ depending on the Ca‐ and Br‐content between 1053.81(5) ? a = b ? 1058.93(3) pm and 421.21 ? c ? 426.78(3) pm.  相似文献

Phosphonium Salts with Hydrogen Dihalide Anions HCl2?, HBr2?, HI2?, or HBrCl? Phosphonium hydrogen dihalides [R3PR′][XHY] (X = Y = Cl, Br, I; X = Br, Y = Cl) resp. [R3PH]HBr2 are obtained as extremely hydrolyzable crystals by reaction of phosphonium halides or tertiary phosphanes with hydrogen halide. According to IR spectroscopic results the solid compounds mostly contain anions [XHX]? with symmetric hydrogen bonds. In solution 1H NMR measurements show a slight (X = Cl, Br) or considerable (X = I) dissociation according to HX2? ? X? + HX. On heating the solid compounds decompose with formation of hydrogen halide and [R3PR′]X or [R3PH]X. In this process the hydrogen bromidechlorides [R3PR′][BrHCl] exclusively eliminate HCl. NMR studies (1H und 31P) with solutions containing [R3PH]HBr2 (R = phenyl, 1-naphtyl) or HBr and Ph3P in varying molar ratios show that a fast proton exchange between the competing Lewis bases R3P and Br? exists.  相似文献

Preparation and Characterization of Thiocyanate Derivatives of the Hydroborate Anions B10H102? and B12H122? The reaction of B10H102? or B12H122? with (SCN)2 in dichloromethane yields mixtures of thiocyanatohydroborates from which the pure isomers 1-and 2-(SCN)B10H92?, 1, 10-(SCN)2B10H82?, and 1-(SCN)B12H112? are isolated by ion exchange chromatography on diethylaminoethyl cellulose. The structures are determined by 11B and 11B{1H}NMR spectroscopy. There are characteristic chemical shifts due to apical and equatorial substituents, respectively. In B10H102? the substitution at apical positions is prefered. The IR and Raman spectra are similar to those of isosteric halogeno derivatives in the region of ν(BH) and of the borate cages. Because of the high frequencies of ν(CN): 2120–2140 cm?1 S coordination of SCN? is supposed.  相似文献

A facile colloidal approach to synthesize Ag8(Ge1?x,Snx)(S6?y,Sey) nanocrystals (NCs) in a highly controlled way across the entire compositional ranges (0≤x≤1, 0≤y≤6) has been developed. The NCs exhibit a uniform size distribution, highly crystalline structure, over 1 g scalable synthesis, and tunable band gaps in the range of 0.88–1.45 eV by varying their chemical compositions. The Ag8GeS6 NCs with a band gap of approximately 1.45 eV were employed as a model light harvester to assess their applicability in solar cells by a full solution‐processing device, yielding an efficiency of 0.28 % under AM1.5 illumination, demonstrating their application potential in solar energy utilization.  相似文献

Reactions of ZnI2L2 (where L=[HC(PPh2NPh)]) with solutions of the Zintl phase K4Ge9 in liquid ammonia lead to retention of the Zn−Zn bond and formation of the anion [(η4‐Ge9)Zn−Zn(η4‐Ge9)]6−, representing the first complex with a Zn−Zn unit carrying two cluster entities. The trimeric anion [(η4‐Ge9)Zn{μ211Ge9)}Zn(η4‐Ge9)]8− forms as a side product, indicating that oxidation reactions also take place. The reaction of Zn2Cp*2 (Cp*=1,2,3,4,5‐pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) with K4Ge9 in ethylenediamine yielded the linear polymeric unit {[Zn[μ241Ge9)]}2− with the first head‐to‐tail arrangement of ten‐atom closo ‐clusters. All anions were obtained and structurally characterized as [A (2.2.2‐crypt)]+ salts (A =K, Rb). Copious computational analyses at a DFT‐PBE0/def2‐TZVPP/PCM level of theory confirm the experimental structures and support the stability of the two hypothetical ten vertex cluster fragments closo ‐[Ge9Zn]2− and (paramagnetic) [Ge9Zn]3−.  相似文献

A systematic approach to the formation of endohedrally filled atom clusters by a high‐temperature route instead of the more frequent multistep syntheses in solution is presented. Zintl phases Na12Ni1?xSn17 and K13?xCo1?xSn17, containing endohedrally filled intermetalloid clusters [Ni@Sn9]4? or [Co@Sn9]5? beside [Sn4]4?, are obtained from high‐temperature reactions. The arrangement of [Ni@Sn9]4? or [Co@Sn9]5? and [Sn4]4? clusters, which are present in the ratio 1:2, can be regarded as a hierarchical replacement variant of the hexagonal Laves phase MgZn2 on the Mg and Zn positions, respectively. The alkali‐metal positions are considered for the first time in the hierarchical relationship, which leads to a comprehensive topological parallel and a better understanding of the composition of these compounds. The positions of the alkali‐metal atoms in the title compounds are related to the known inclusion of hydrogen atoms in the voids of Laves phases. The inclusion of Co atoms in the {Sn9} cages correlates strongly with the number of K vacancies in K13?xCo1?xSn17 and K5?xCo1?xSn9, and consequently, all compounds correspond to diamagnetic valence compounds. Owing to their diamagnetism, K13?xCo1?xSn17, and K5?xCo1?xSn9, as well as the d‐block metal free binary compounds K12Sn17 and K4Sn9, were characterized for the first time by 119Sn solid‐state NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

There are four neutralization-reionization processes which can be studied. In the first two, gaseous cations are collisionally reduced and the resulting fast neutrals are either oxidized by collisional electron removal (NR) or reduced further by collisional electron attachment (NR?). In the third and fourth processes, gaseous anions are collisionally oxidized and the resulting fast neutrals are either oxidized further by collisional electron removal (?NR) or reduced by collisional electron attachment (?NR?). These four processes are illustrated briefly using the interrelated species [SF5]+ and [SF5]?. Negative-ion-negative-ion neutralization-reionization (?NR?) processes are illustrated for [CH3O]?, [C2H5O]?, [CO3]? and [HCO3]? and compared with ?NR processes. In addition, collisional electron attachment ionization of fast neutrals formed in unimolecular fragmentation of cations is illustrated. The ?NR? studies of [CO3]? and [HCO3]? show that both CO3 and HCO3 are stable neutral species with lifetimes greater than 0.7 μs.  相似文献

For decades the chemistry of polyhalides was dominated by polyiodides and more recently also by an increasing number of polybromides. However, apart from a few structures containing trichloride anions and a single report on an octachloride dianion, [Cl8]2?, polychlorine compounds such as polychloride anions are unknown. Herein, we report on the synthesis and investigation of large polychloride monoanions such as [Cl11]? found in [AsPh4][Cl11], [PPh4][Cl11], and [PNP][Cl11]?Cl2, and [Cl13]? obtained in [PNP][Cl13]. The polychloride dianion [Cl12]2? has been obtained in [NMe3Ph]2[Cl12]. The novel compounds have been thoroughly characterized by NMR spectroscopy, single‐crystal Raman spectroscopy, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The assignment of their spectra is supported by molecular and periodic solid‐state quantum‐chemical calculations.  相似文献
