[RuCl2(CO)3]2/dppp is shown to be a highly effective catalyst system for the first intramolecular oxidative amination of a variety of aminoalkenes when it is used concomitantly with K2CO3 and allyl acetate in N-methylpiperidine, to give the corresponding cyclic imines and indoles in excellent yields. For example, the reaction of 2,2-diphenyl-4-pentenyl-1-amine performed in the presence of 2 mol % of [RuCl2(CO)3]2, 4 mol % of dppp, K2CO3, and allyl acetate in N-methylpiperidine at 140 degrees C for 8 h gives 4,4-diphenyl-2-methyl-1-pyrroline in quantitative (>99%) yield.  相似文献

The novel hydroxo-bridged dimeric lead-chromium carbonyl complex [Et4N]2[{PbCr2(CO)10}2(mu-OH)2] ([Et4N]2[1]) was synthesized from the reaction of PbCl2 and Cr(CO)6 followed by metathesis with [Et4N]Br in a KOH/MeOH solution. The X-ray crystallographic structure shows that dianion 1 consists of two Pb{Cr(CO)5}2 units bridged by two hydroxo fragments in which the Pb atoms are further coordinated with two Cr(CO)5 groups, resulting in a distorted tetrahedral geometry. A CO2 molecule can insert itself into dianion 1 to form two new carbonate complexes, [Et(4)N]2[{PbCr2(CO)10}(CO3)] ([Et4N]2[2]) and [Et4N]2[{PbCr2(CO)10}2(CO3)] ([Et4N]2[3]), depending on the reaction conditions. In addition, complex 2 can be transformed into 3 in CH2Cl2 solution at an elevated temperature. While the carbonate group in dianion 2 is bonded to one Pb atom, which is coordinated with two Cr(CO)5 fragments, the carbonate group in 3 bridges the two Pb centers in a mu-1kappa2OO':2kappa2OO' fashion in which each Pb atom is further bonded to two Cr(CO)5 moieties. Complexes 2 and 3 can be converted back the hydroxo complex 1 under appropriate conditions. All three unprecedented lead-chromium compounds, 1-3, were fully characterized by spectroscopic methods and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. The nature and formation of complexes 1-3 were also examined by molecular orbital calculations using the B3LYP method of the density functional theory.  相似文献

The [W(CO)5]-catalyzed cycloisomerization reaction of 1,1-disubstituted 4-pentyn-1-ol derivatives has been studied from both, an experimental and theoretical point of view. Three different catalytic systems have been evaluated {preformed [(thf)W(CO)5], [W(CO)6]/excess Et3N, and [W(CO)6]/2 mol % Et3N]. We have found that the reaction proceeds to give the formal endo- or exo-cycloisomerization products depending on the amount of Et3N used and on the substitution along the alkyl chain of the starting alkynol. The theoretical study allowed us to find the mechanisms of the reactions which explain the formation of the formal endo- or exo-cycloisomerization products.  相似文献

Treatment of [Et4N][(Me2Tp)W(CO)3] (Me2Tp = HB(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)3) with S8 in DMF at room temperature afforded a tris(sulfido) complex [Et4N][(Me2Tp)WS3] (1a), while that of [Et4N][TpW(CO)3] (Tp = HB(pyrazol-1-yl)3) in MeCN resulted in the formation of [Et4N][TpWS3] (1b) along with [Et4N]2[[WO(S2)2]2(mu-S)] (6) as a byproduct. Under similar conditions, [Et4N][(Me2Tp)Mo(CO)3] gave a mixture of a sulfido-tetrasulfido complex [Et4N][(Me2Tp)MoS(S4)] (2a) and its monooxo analogue [Et4N][(Me2Tp)MoO(S4)], although a sulfido-tetrasulfido complex [Et4N][TpMoS(S4)] (2b) was exclusively obtained from [Et4N][TpMo(CO)3]. The reaction of 1a with [PtCl2(cod)] (cod = 1,5-cyclooctadiene) in MeCN at room temperature led to the formation of a sulfido-bridged mixed-metal complex [Et4N][(Me2Tp)WS(mu-S)2PtCl2] (10). The structures of new complexes have been determined in detail by the X-ray analyses for 1a.MeCN, 1b, 2a, 2b, 6, and 10.  相似文献

The variety of known very stable PF(3) metal derivatives analogous to metal carbonyls suggests the synthesis of SF(3) metal derivatives analogous to metal nitrosyls. However, the only known SF(3) metal complex is the structurally uncharacterized (Et(3)P)(2)Ir(CO)(Cl)(F)(SF(3)) synthesized by Cockman, Ebsworth, and Holloway in 1987 and suggested by electron counting to have a one-electron donor SF(3) group rather than a three-electron donor SF(3) group. In this connection, the possibility of synthesizing SF(3) metal derivatives analogous to metal nitrosyls has been investigated using density functional theory. The [M]SF(3) derivatives with [M] = V(CO)(5), Mn(CO)(4), Co(CO)(3), Ir(CO)(3), (C(5)H(5))Cr(CO)(2), (C(5)H(5))Fe(CO), and (C(5)H(5))Ni analogous to known metal nitrosyl derivatives are all predicted to be thermodynamically disfavored with respect to the corresponding [M](SF(2))(F) derivatives by energies ranging from 19.5 kcal/mol for Mn(SF(3))(CO)(4) to 5.4 kcal/mol for Co(SF(3))(CO)(3). By contrast, the isoelectronic [M]PF(3) derivatives with [M] = Cr(CO)(5), Fe(CO)(4), Ni(CO)(3), (C(5)H(5))Mn(CO)(2), (C(5)H(5))Co(CO), and (C(5)H(5))Cu are all very strongly thermodynamically favored with respect to the corresponding [M](PF(2))(F) derivatives by energies ranging from 64.3 kcal/mol for Cr(PF(3))(CO)(5) to 31.6 kcal/mol for (C(5)H(5))Co(PF(3))(CO). The known six-coordinate (Et(3)P)(2)Ir(CO)(Cl)(F)(SF(3)) is also predicted to be stable relative to the seven-coordinate (Et(3)P)(2)Ir(CO)(Cl)(F)(2)(SF(2)). Most of the metal SF(3) complexes found in this work are singlet structures containing three-electron donor SF(3) ligands with tetrahedral sulfur coordination. However, two examples of triplet spin state metal SF(3) complexes, namely, the lowest energy (C(5)H(5))Fe(SF(3))(CO) structure and a higher energy Co(SF(3))(CO)(3) structure, are found containing one-electron donor SF(3) ligands with pseudo square pyramidal sulfur coordination with a stereochemically active lone electron pair.  相似文献

The reaction of Ru2(S2C3H6)(CO)6 (1) with 2 equiv of Et4NCN yielded (Et4N)2[Ru2(S2C3H6)(CN)2(CO)4], (Et4N)2[3], which was shown crystallographically to consist of a face-sharing bioctahedron with the cyanide ligands in the axial positions, trans to the Ru-Ru bond. Competition experiments showed that 1 underwent cyanation >100x more rapidly than the analogous Fe2(S2C3H6)(CO)6. Furthermore, Ru2(S2C3H6)(CO)6 underwent dicyanation faster than [Ru2(S2C3H6)(CN)(CO)5]-, implicating a highly electrophilic intermediate [Ru2(S2C3H6)(mu-CO)(CN)(CO)5]-. Ru2(S2C3H6)(CO)6 (1) is noticeably more basic than the diiron compound, as demonstrated by the generation of [Ru2(S2C3H6)(mu-H)(CO)6]+, [1H]+. In contrast to 1, the complex [1H]+ is unstable in MeCN solution and converts to [Ru2(S2C3H6)(mu-H)(CO)5(MeCN)]+. (Et4N)2[3] was shown to protonate with HOAc (pKa = 22.3, MeCN) and, slowly, with MeOH and H2O. Dicyanide [3]2- is stable toward excess acid, unlike the diiron complex; it slowly forms the coordination polymer [Ru2(S2C3H6)(mu-H)(CN)(CNH)(CO)4]n, which can be deprotonated with Et3N to regenerate [H3]-. Electrochemical experiments demonstrate that [3H]- catalyzes proton reduction at -1.8 V vs Ag/AgCl. In contrast to [3]2-, the CO ligands in [3H]- undergo displacement. For example, PMe3 and [3H]- react to produce [Ru2(S2C3H6)(mu-H)(CN)2(CO)3(PMe3)]-. Oxidation of (Et4N)2[3] with 1 equiv of Cp2Fe+ gave a mixture of [Ru2(S2C3H6)(mu-CO)(CN)3(CO)3]- and [Ru2(S2C3H6)(CN)(CO)5]-, via a proposed [Ru2]2(mu-CN) intermediate. Overall, the ruthenium analogues of the diiron dithiolates exhibit reactivity highly reminiscent of the diiron species, but the products are more robust and the catalytic properties appear to be less promising.  相似文献

Thermal reactions between [RuCl2(diene)]n (diene = 2,5-norbornadiene, nbd; 1,5-cyclooctadiene, cod) with an excess of N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylene diamine (tmeda) afforded derivatives [RuCl2(diene)(tmeda)] (diene = nbd, 1; cod, 2) as a mixture of cis and trans isomers. When thermolysis was performed under H2 mixtures of hydride species [RuCl(H)(diene)(tmeda)] (diene = nbd, 3; cod, 4) and the bis-tmeda adduct trans-[RuCl2(tmeda)2] (5) were obtained in different ratios depending upon the reaction conditions and reaction times. Heating polymeric Ru(II) precursors in toluene in the presence of a 5-fold excess of the bulkier N,N,N',N'-tetraethylethylene diamine (teeda) resulted in a rare diamine dealkylation process with formation of trans-[RuCl2(nbd)(Et2NCH2CH2NHEt)] (6) and trans-[RuCl2(cod)(EtHNCH2CH2NHEt)] (7) in high yields. The presence of N-H functionalities in the coordinated diamine ligands of 6 and 7 was unambiguously established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The dealkylation process of the teeda ligand seems to proceed intramolecularly as shown by solution NMR studies performed with the soluble Ru(II) precursors trans-[RuCl2(amine)2(diene)] (diene = nbd, amine = morpholine, 9; diene = cod, amine = Et2NH, 10). The above complexes [RuCl2(diene)(diamine)] have been tested as precatalysts in the hydrogenation of ketones both for transfer as well as direct hydrogenation, the latter route being the most effective.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] One-pot allene synthesis from aryl iodides 1 and propargyldicyclohexylamine 2 proceeded in the presence of Pd(2)(dba)(3).CHCl(3) catalyst (2.5 mol %), 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)carborane 5 (10 mol %), CuI (15 mol %), and Et(3)N (150 mol %) to give the corresponding allenes 4 in good to high yields. Electron-deficient bidentate phosphines, such as 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)carborane 5 and (C(6)F(5))(2)PC(2)H(4)P(C(6)F(5))(2), play the role of a dual mode ligand for both the Sonogashira coupling and hydride-transfer reactions.  相似文献

Treatment of complex trans-[RuCl(2)(eta(2)-C(2)H(4))[kappa(3)-N,N,N-(R,R)-Ph-pybox]] [(R,R)-Ph-pybox = 2,6-bis[4'-(R)-phenyloxazolin-2'-yl]pyridine] with phosphines or phosphites in dichloromethane at 50 degrees C leads to the formation of novel ruthenium(II)-pybox complexes trans-[RuCl(2)(L)[kappa(3)-N,N,N-(R,R)-Ph-pybox]] [L = PPh(3) (1 a), PPh(2)Me (2 a), PPh(2)(C(3)H(5)) (3 a), PPh(2)(C(4)H(7)) (4 a), PMe(3) (5 a), PiPr(3) (6 a), P(OMe)(3) (7 a) and P(OPh)(3) (8 a)]. Likewise, reaction of trans-[RuCl(2)(eta(2)-C(2)H(4))[kappa(3)-N,N,N-(R,R)-Ph-pybox]] with PPh(3) or PiPr(3) in refluxing methanol leads to the complexes cis-[RuCl(2)(L)(kappa(3)-N,N,N-(R,R)-Ph-pybox] [L = PPh(3) (1 b), PiPr(3) (6 b)]. No trans-cis isomerisation of complexes 1 a-8 a has been observed. Complexes 1 a-8 a, 1 b, 6 b together with the analogous trans-[RuCl(2)[P(OMe)(3)][kappa(3)-N,N,N-(S,S)-iPr-pybox]] (10 a) and the previously reported trans- and cis-[RuCl(2)(PPh(3))[kappa(3)-N,N,N-(S,S)-iPr-pybox]] (9 a and 9 b, respectively) are active catalysts for the transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone in 2-propanol in the presence of NaOH (ketone/cat/NaOH 500:1:6). cis-Ph-pybox derivatives are the most active catalysts. In particular, cis complexes 1 b and 6 b led to almost quantitative conversions in less than 5 min with a high enantioselectivity (up to 95 %). A variety of aromatic ketones have also been reduced to the corresponding secondary alcohols with very high TOF and ee up to 94 %. The overall catalytic performance seems to be a subtle combination of the steric and/or electronic properties both the phosphines and the ketones. A high TOF (27 300 h(-1)) and excellent ee (94 %) have been found for the reduction of 3-bromoacetophenone with catalyst 6 b. Reductions of alkyl ketones also proceed with high and rapid conversions but low enantioselectivities are achieved.  相似文献

Treatment of the hydrido(dihydrogen) compound [RuHCl(H2)(PCy3)2] 1 with alkynes RC[triple bond, length as m-dash]CH (R=H, Ph) afforded the hydrido(vinylidene) complexes [RuHCl(=C=CHR)(PCy3)2] 2, 3 which react with HCl or [HPCy3]Cl to give the corresponding Grubbs-type ruthenium carbenes [RuCl2(=CHCH2R)(PCy3)2] 4, 5. The reaction of 2 (R=H) with DCl, or D2O in the presence of chloride sources, led to the formation of [RuCl2(=CHCH2D)(PCy3)2] 4-d1. Based on these observations, a one-pot synthesis of compounds 4 and 5 was developed using RuCl3.3H2O as the starting material. The hydrido(vinylidene) derivative 2 reacted with CF3CO2H and HCN at low temperatures to yield the carbene complexes [RuCl(X)(=CHCH3)(PCy3)2] 6, 7, of which 7 (X=CN) was characterized crystallographically. Salt metathesis of 2 with CF3CO2K and KI led to the formation of [RuH(X)(=C=CH2)(PCy3)2] 8, 9. The bis(trifluoracetato) and the diiodo compounds [RuX2(=CHCH3)(PCy3)2] 10, 11 as well as the new phosphine P(thp)3 12 (thp=4-tetrahydropyranyl) and the corresponding complex [RuCl2(=CHCH3){P(thp)3}2] 14 were also prepared. The catalytic activity of the ruthenium carbenes 4-7, 10, 11 and 14 in the olefin cross-metathesis of cyclopentene and allyl alcohol was investigated.  相似文献

Ligand substitution of RuCl2[P(C6H5)3]3 and Cp*RuCl(isoprene) (Cp*=1,2,3,4,5-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) complexes with hydroxymethylphosphines was investigated to develop new catalyst systems for CO2 hydrogenation. A reaction of P(C6H5)2CH2OH with RuCl2[P(C6H5)3]3 in CH2Cl2 gave Ru(H)Cl(CO)[P(C6H5)2CH2OH]3 (1), which was characterized by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallographic analysis. An isotope labeling experiment using P(C6H5)213CH2OH indicated that the carbonyl moiety in complex 1 originated from formaldehyde formed by degradation of the hydroxymethylphosphine. Elimination of formaldehyde from PCy2CH2OH (Cy=cyclohexyl) was also promoted by treatment of RuCl2[P(C6H5)3]3 in ethanol to give RuCl2(PHCy2)4 under mild conditions. On the other hand, the substitution reaction using Cp*RuCl(isoprene) with the hydroxymethylphosphine ligands proceeded smoothly with formation of Cp*RuCl(L)2 [2a-2c; L=P(C6H5)2CH2OH, PCy(CH2OH)2, and P(CH2OH)3] in good yields. The isolable hydroxymethylphosphine complexes 1 and 2 efficiently catalyzed the hydrogenative amidation of supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) to N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF).  相似文献

Mononuclear palladium hydroxo complexes of the type [Pd(N[bond]N)(C(6)F(5))(OH)] [(N[bond]N = 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy), 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (Me(2)bipy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), or N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine (tmeda)] have been prepared by reaction of [Pd(N[bond]N)(C(6)F(5))(acetone)]ClO(4) with KOH in methanol. These hydroxo complexes react, in methanol, with CO (1 atm, room temperature) to yield the corresponding methoxycarbonyl complexes [Pd(N[bond]N)(C(6)F(5))(CO(2)Me)]. Similar alkoxycarbonyl complexes [Pd(N[bond]N)(C(6)F(5))(CO(2)R)] (N[bond]N = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)methane); R = Me, Et, or (i)Pr) are obtained when [Pd(N[bond]N)(C(6)F(5))Cl] is treated with KOH in the corresponding alcohol ROH and CO is bubbled through the solution. The reactions of [Pd(N[bond]N)(C(6)F(5))(OH)] (N[bond]N = bipy or Me(2)bipy) with CO(2), in tetrahydrofuran, lead to the formation of the binuclear carbonate complexes [(N[bond]N)(C(6)F(5))Pd(mu-eta(2)-CO(3))Pd(C(6)F(5))(N[bond]N)]. Complexes [Pd(N[bond]N)(C(6)F(5))(OH)] react in alcohol with PhNCS to yield the corresponding N-phenyl-O-alkylthiocarbamate complexes [Pd(N[bond]N)(C(6)F(5))[SC(OR)NPh]]. Similarly, the reaction of [Pd(bipy)(C(6)F(5))(OH)] with PhNCO in methanol gives the N-phenyl-O-methylcarbamate complex [Pd(bipy)(C(6)F(5))[NPhC(O)OR]]. The reactions of [(N[bond]N)Pd(C(6)F(5))(OH)] with PhNCS in the presence of Et(2)NH yield the corresponding thioureidometal complexes [Pd(N[bond]N)(C(6)F(5))[NPhCSNR(2)]]. The crystal structures of [Pd(tmeda)(C(6)F(5))(CO(2)Me)], [Pd(2)(Me(2)bipy)(2)(C(6)F(5))(2)(mu-eta(2)-CO(3))].2CH(2)Cl(2), and [Pd(tmeda)(C(6)F(5))[SC(OMe)NPh]] have been determined.  相似文献

Two metallosynthons, namely (Et4N)2[Ni(NpPepS)] (1) and (Et4N)2[Ni(PhPepS)] (2) containing carboxamido-N and thiolato-S as donors have been used to model the bimetallic M(p)-Ni(d) subsite of the A-cluster of the enzyme acetyl coenzyme A synthase/CO dehydrogenase. A series of sulfur-bridged Ni/Cu dinuclear and trinuclear complexes (3-10) have been synthesized to explore their redox properties and affinity of the metal centers toward CO. The structures of (Et4N)2[Ni(PhPepS)] (2), (Et4N)[Cu(neo)Ni(NpPepS)] x 0.5 Et2O x 0.5 H2O (3 x 0.5 Et2O x 0.5 H2O), (Et4N)[Cu(neo)Ni(PhPepS)] x H2O (4 x H2O), (Et4N)2[Ni{Ni(NpPepS)}2] x DMF (5 x DMF), (Et4N)2[Ni(DMF)2{Ni(NpPepS)}2] x 3 DMF (6 x 3 DMF), (Et4N)2[Ni(DMF)2{Ni(PhPepS)}2] (8), and [Ni(dppe)Ni(PhPepS)] x CH2Cl2 (10 x CH2Cl2) have been determined by crystallography. The Ni(d) mimics 1 and 2 resist reduction and exhibit no affinity toward CO. In contrast, the sulfur-bridged Ni center (designated Ni(C)) in the trinuclear models 5-8 are amenable to reduction and binds CO in the Ni(I) state. Also, the sulfur-bridged Ni(C) center can be removed from the trimers (5-8) by treatment with 1,10-phenanthroline much like the "labile Ni" from the enzyme. The dinuclear Ni-Ni models 9 and 10 resemble the Ni(p)-Ni(d) subsite of the A-cluster more closely, and only the modeled Ni(p) site of the dimers can be reduced. The Ni(I)-Ni(II) species display EPR spectra typical of a Ni(I) center in distorted trigonal bipyramidal and distorted tetrahedral geometries for 9(red) and 10(red), respectively. Both species bind CO, and the CO-adducts 9(red)-CO and 10(red)-CO display strong nu(co) at 2044 and 1997 cm(-1), respectively. The reduction of 10 is reversible. The CO-affinity of 10 in the reduced state and the nu(co) value of 10(red)-CO closely resemble the CO-bound reduced A-cluster (nu(co) = 1996 cm(-1)).  相似文献

The reaction of cyanide, carbon monoxide, and ferrous derivatives led to the isolation of three products, trans- and cis-[Fe(CN)(4)(CO)(2)](2)(-) and [Fe(CN)(5)(CO)](3)(-), the first two of which were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The new compounds show self-consistent IR, (13)C NMR, and mass spectroscopic properties. The reaction of trans-[Fe(CN)(4)(CO)(2)](2)(-) with Et(4)NCN gives [Fe(CN)(5)(CO)](3)(-) via a first-order (dissociative) pathway. The corresponding cyanation of cis-[Fe(CN)(4)(CO)(2)](2)(-), which is a minor product of the Fe(II)/CN(-)/CO reaction, does not proceed at measurable rates. Methylation of [Fe(CN)(5)(CO)](3)(-) gave exclusively cis-[Fe(CN)(4)(CNMe)(CO)](2)(-), demonstrating the enhanced nucleophilicity of CN(-) trans to CN(-) vs. CN(-) trans to CO. Methylation has an electronic effect similar to that of protonation as determined electrochemically. We also characterized [M(CN)(3)(CO)(3)](n)(-) for Ru (n = 1) and Mn (n = 2) derivatives. The Ru complex, which is new, was prepared by cyanation of a [RuCl(2)(CO)(3)](2) solution.  相似文献

Current theoretical and experimental evidence points toward X = N as the identity of the interstitial atom in the [MoFe7S9X] core of the iron-molybdenum cofactor cluster of nitrogenase. This atom functions with mu6 bridging multiplicity to six iron atoms and, if it is nitrogen as nitride, raises a question as to the existence of a family of molecular iron nitrides of higher nuclearity than known dinuclear Fe(III,IV) species with linear [Fe-N-Fe]5+,4+ bridges. This matter has been initially examined by variation of reactant stoichiometry in the self-assembly systems [FeX4]1-/(Me3Sn)3N (X = Cl-, Br-) in acetonitrile. A 2:1 mol ratio affords [Fe4N2Cl10]4- (1), isolated as the Et4N+ salt (72%). This cluster has idealized C2h symmetry with a planar antiferromagnetically coupled [Fe(III)4(mu3-N)2]6+ core containing an Fe2N2 rhombus to which are attached two FeCl3 units. DFT calculations have been performed to determine the dominant magnetic exchange pathway. An 11:8 mol ratio leads to [Fe10N8Cl12]5- (3) as the Et4N+ salt (37%). The cluster possesses idealized D2h symmetry and is built of 15 edge- and vertex-shared rhomboids involving two mu3-N and six mu4-N bridging atoms, and incorporates two of the core units of 1. Four FeN2Cl2 and four FeN3Cl sites are tetrahedral and two FeN5 sites are trigonal pyramidal. The cluster is mixed-valence (9Fe(III) + Fe(IV)); a discrete Fe(IV) site was not detected by crystallography or M?ssbauer spectroscopy. The corresponding clusters [Fe4N2Br10]4- and [Fe10N8Br12]5- are isostructural with 1 and 3, respectively. Future research is directed toward defining the scope of the family of molecular iron nitrides.  相似文献

New benzo[h]quinoline ligands (HCN'N) containing a CHRNH2 (R=H (a), Me (b), tBu (c)) function in the 2-position were prepared starting from benzo[h]quinoline N-oxide (in the case of ligand a) and 2-chlorobenzo[h]quinoline (for ligands b and c). These compounds were used to prepare ruthenium and osmium complexes, which are excellent catalysts for the transfer hydrogenation (TH) of ketones. The reaction of a with [RuCl2(PPh3)3] in 2-propanol at reflux afforded the terdentate CN'N complex [RuCl(CN'N)(PPh3)2] (1), whereas the complexes [RuCl(CN'N)(dppb)] (2-4; dppb=Ph2P(CH2)4PPh2) were obtained from [RuCl2(PPh3)(dppb)] with a-c, respectively. Employment of (R,S)-Josiphos, (S,R)-Josiphos*, (S,S)-Skewphos, and (S)-MeO-Biphep in combination with [RuCl2(PPh3)3] and ligand a gave the chiral derivatives [RuCl(CN'N)(PP)] (5-8). The osmium complex [OsCl(CN'N)(dppb)] (12) was prepared by treatment of [OsCl2(PPh3)3] with dppb and ligand a. Reaction of the chloride 2 and 12 with NaOiPr in 2-propanol/toluene afforded the hydride complexes [MH(CN'N)(dppb)] (M=Ru 10, Os 14), through elimination of acetone from [M(OiPr)(CN'N)(dppb)] (M=Ru 9, Os 13). The species 9 and 13 easily reacted with 4,4'-difluorobenzophenone, via 10 and 14, respectively, affording the corresponding isolable alkoxides [M(OR)(CN'N)(dppb)] (M=Ru 11, Os 15). The complexes [MX(CN'N)(P2)] (1-15) (M=Ru, Os; X=Cl, H, OR; P=PPh3 and P2=diphosphane) are efficient catalysts for the TH of carbonyl compounds with 2-propanol in the presence of NaOiPr (2 mol %). Turnover frequency (TOF) values up to 1.8x10(6) h(-1) have been achieved using 0.02-0.001 mol % of catalyst. Much the same activity has been observed for the Ru--Cl, --H, --OR, and the Os--Cl derivatives, whereas the Os--H and Os--OR derivatives display significantly lower activity on account of their high oxygen sensitivity. The chiral Ru complexes 5-8 catalyze the asymmetric TH of methyl-aryl ketones with TOF approximately 10(5) h(-1) at 60 degrees C, up to 97 % enatiomeric excess (ee) and remarkably high productivity (0.005 mol % catalyst loading). High catalytic activity (TOF up to 2.2x10(5) h(-1)) and enantioselectivity (up to 98 % ee) have also been achieved with the in-situ-generated catalysts prepared from [MCl2(PPh3)3], (S,R)-Josiphos or (S,R)-Josiphos*, and the benzo[h]quinoline ligands a-c.  相似文献

Reaction of aminophosphinimine [RHN(CH(2))(2)N[double bond, length as m-dash]PPh(3)] (R = H, Et) with Re(2)(CO)(10) provided the NH-functionalized carbene rhenium complex [Re(2)(CNHCH(2)CH(2)NR)(CO)(9)] (3a, R = H, 3b, R = Et). Treatment of 3 with Br(2) provided the mono nuclear [Re(CNHCH(2)CH(2)NR)(CO)(4)Br] (1, R = H, 2, R = Et). However, NH-functionalized carbene complexes 1-3 did not undergo N-alkylation with alkyl halides to yield the N-substituted NHC complexes. The direct ligand substitution of [Re(CO)(5)Br] with a carbene donor was employed to prepare [Re(IMes(2))(CO)(4)Br] (6a, IMes(2) = 1,3-di-mesitylimidazol-2-ylidene; 6b, IMes(2) = 1,3-dimesityl-4,5-dihydroimidazol-2-ylidene). Analyses of spectroscopic and crystal data of 6a and 6b show similar corresponding data among these complexes, suggesting the saturated and unsaturated NHCs have similar bonding with Re(I) metal centers. Reduction of 6a and 6b with LiEt(3)BH yielded the corresponding hydrido complexes 7a-b [ReH(CO)(4)(IMes(2))], but not 1 and 2. Ligand substitution of 1, 6a and 6b toward 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy) was investigated. Crystal structures of 1, 3a-b, 6a-b and 7b were determined for characterization and comparison.  相似文献

The ruthenium(II)-triphos acetato complex [RuCl(OAc)(kappa3-triphos)] (triphos = (PPh2CH2)3CMe) has been found to be an active catalyst precursor for the hydrogenation of 1-alkenes under relatively mild conditions (5-50 bar H2, 50 degrees C). In contrast to related triphenylphosphine complexes, [RuCl(OAc)(kappa3-triphos)] is much less air sensitive and high catalytic activities were achieved when catalyst samples were prepared without exclusion of air or moisture. Substitution of the acetato ligand can be effected by treatment of acid, affording [Ru2(mu-Cl)3(kappa3-triphos)2]Cl and [RuCl(kappa3-triphos)]2(BF4)2 with aqueous HCl and [Et2OH]BF4, respectively, or by heating with dmpm in the presence of [NH4]PF6, resulting in formation of [RuCl(kappa2-dmpm)(kappa3-triphos)]PF6 (dmpm = PMe2CH2PMe2). A hydride complex, [RuHCl(kappa3-triphos)], formed by acetato-mediated heterolytic cleavage of dihydrogen is proposed as the active catalytic species. An inner-sphere, monohydride mechanism is suggested for the catalytic cycle, with chloro and triphos ligands playing a spectator role. These mechanistic proposals are consistent with reactivity studies carried out on [RuCl(OAc)(kappa3-triphos)] and [RuH(OAc)(kappa3-triphos)] and supported by a computational analysis. The solid-state structures of [RuCl(OAc)(kappa3-triphos)], [RuCl(kappa3-triphos)]2(BF4)2, and [RuCl(kappa2-dmpm)(kappa3-triphos)]PF6 have been established by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The reaction of the ynediamine 1,2-dipiperidinoacetylene (1) with [(η(2)-COE)Cr(CO)(5)], [(THF)W(CO)(5)] and [RuCl(2)(η(6)-cymene)](2) afforded homobimetallic complexes 2a, 2b and 3, in which the diaminoacetylene 1 acts as a bis(aminocarbene) ligand by bridging two complex fragments Cr(CO)(5) (in 2a), W(CO)(5) (in 2b) and RuCl(2)(η(6)-cymene) (in 3). The reaction of 1 with [RuCl(2)(PPh(3))(3)] gave trans-[(1)RuCl(PPh(3))(2)]Cl, [4]Cl, in which the alkyne 1 coordinates as a 4-electron donor ligand. The cation 4 represents a rare example of a square-planar Ru(II) complex with a low-spin ground state (S = 0), and its stability can be ascribed to the strong alkyne-metal π-interaction as confirmed by DFT calculations. Treatment with one or two equivalents of NaBPh(4) in acetonitrile gave [4]BPh(4) and the dicationic [(1)Ru(PPh(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)](BPh(4))(2), [5](BPh(4))(2). [4]Cl can be used for the preparation of heterobimetallic Ru-Pd bis(aminocarbene) complexes by reaction with [(MeCN)(2)PdCl(2)], resulting in the formation of bimetallic 6 and tetrametallic 7.  相似文献
