The natural width of a hypersatellite line (K ?2→K ?1 L ?1 transition) has been measured for the first time. In the case of Cu (Z=29) this width has been found equal toΓ = 5 eV, i.e. much larger than that of the diagram (K ?1→L ?1) line. This result follows a proposed empirical law assuming this width to be equal to 3Γ K+ΓL. 相似文献

A solution is obtained for a vortex in a long Josephson junction, satisfying boundary conditions on the junction edges. The vortex is shown to broaden remarkably with the decrease of the junctionwidth when the field distribution in free space is two dimensional. 相似文献

The experimental cross sections of the reactions 209Bi(p, f) and 206Pb(α, f) are analyzed to estimate the ratio Γf/Γtot for the IAS. From the comparison of the values Γf for the nuclear states with different isospins it follows that strong isospin effects exist in the nuclear fission process involving 210Po. 相似文献

The pulse width of a synchronously pumped laser chiefly depends on the available cavity bandwidth and the pump-pulse duration. A functional form of this dependence was suggested in the literature. An analytical estimate of the width of the generated chaotic layer in a time-periodically driven stream function model for the motion of passive tracers is discussed. It is based essentially on the method of the separatrix map and the use of the Melnikov theory. Energy-time variables are used to derive lower bounds for the half width of the layer. In order to perform a comparison with numerical simulations, the results are transformed into space variables. The analytic results of the layer thickness in both parallel and perpendicular directions to the shear flow are compared with numerical computations and some systematic deviations are discussed. 相似文献

In the case of multiple measurements we have found that there is nonzero decay width () (even for bound states) and that, for relatively long time intervals separating successive measurements, () tends like –k (k 1 according to the investigated model) to the asymptotic value o for unstable states and to zero for bound states. We have shown that the detector efficiencyZ 1 is responsible for this effect and that the evolution operator acting in the considered subspace of states should be renormalized to avoid this effect. As an illustration we have considered electromagnetic levels in the Coulomb field as an example of unstable states. 相似文献

The temperature variation of the cyclotron resonance width Γ for a very pure semiconductor is calculated numerically based on the earlier theory [S. Fujita & A. Lodder, Physica83B, 117 (1976)]. The results are in excellent agreement with experiments by Kawamura et al. for very pure Ge. 相似文献

Amorphous ferromagnets exhibit an unusually large temperature range of deviations from the Curie-Weiss behavior in the paramagnetic regime. The question is discussed whether this may be interpreted as an extended critical behavior or as a non-critical phenomenon for which scaling ideas are not valid. A model of nonlinear resonance as a periodically perturbed pendulum is considered, and a new method of analytical estimating the width of a chaotic layer near the separatrices of the resonance is derived for the case of slow perturbation (the case of adiabatic chaos). The structure of GCR intensity and its changes during the solar magnetic cycle are analyzed by numerically solving its transport equation. We propose a research method that allows us to use the intermediate results from numerical calculations, to resolve the intensity of galactic cosmic rays into components caused by sunspot and magnetic solar cycles, and to monitor the changes in energy in different parts of the heliosphere and different phases of the cycle. A method for dividing intensity into its components associated with the main physical processes determining the modulation of galactic cosmic rays is also proposed. 相似文献

Using the proper connected diagram expansion which incorporates the quasi-particle effect naturally we calculated the cyclotron resonance width γ in the extreme quantum limit.(a) γ ∝ns B for a short range interaction, and (b) γ = πze2 κ-1 <?crossed h.c.h;-1 ns for Coulomb interaction, are obtained. The field (B) and concentration (ns)-dependence is in satisfactory agreement with experimental data. The variation γ = (γ21 + γ22 + …) of Matthiessen's rule γ = γ1 + γ2 + …, holds when there exist scattering centers of different kinds in the system. 相似文献
