利用在HI-13串列加速器的在束γ终端上建立的多普勒线移衰减法、反冲距离多普勒线移法和快时间延迟符合法等3种寿命测量方法,开展了原子核手征对称性、磁转动等核结构热点课题的研究工作。实验结果表明,130Cs的伙伴带具有很好的手征特性,而106Ag的候选带并非手征双带。根据测量的能级寿命提取的B(M1)值表明,106Ag的正宇称晕带和107Ag的正、负宇称晕带都具有典型的磁转动特性。此外,寿命测量数据还为解释和理解不同的同位素链中展现出的形状演化、形状共存、形状相变及临界点对称性等物理现象提供了有价值的实验证据。 The significance and principle of lifetime measurements of excited states in nuclei are briefly described. By using the recoil-distance Doppler-shift method, the Doppler-shift attenuation method, and the fast-timing technique established at the in-beam γ terminal of HI-13 tandem accelerator, nuclear structure studies on topical subjects including chiral symmetries and magnetic rotation have been performed. Our experimental results indicate that 130Cs shows better chiral characteristics, however, the two candidate bands of 106Ag could not be a pair of chiral doublet bands. For magnetic rotation, the deduced B(M1) values deduced from the measured level lifetimes clearly demonstrate that the yrast positive-parity band in 106Ag and both the yrast positiveand negative-parity bands in 107Ag are magnetic rotation bands. In addition, our lifetime measurement data also provide valuable experimental evidences for the interpretation and understanding of the shape evolution, the shape coexistence, and the critical-point symmetries of shape phase transition in the different isotope chains.  相似文献

The negative parity states in the123, 125, 131Cs and the131La nuclei are described in the framework of the particle-core coupling model. In order to study the problem of gamma softness, the following two core models are used:(1) the rigid triaxial rotor model, and(2) theγ-unstable model withγ-dependent inertial functions. The properties of the odd-A nuclei with rigid and soft cores are compared with the experimental data. The results do not allow to draw a definite conclusion about the softness. When seeking properties which could help to distinguish between soft and rigid nuclei it has been found that some spectroscopic factors for the proton stripping reaction are sensitive to the gamma softness.  相似文献

An analysis of the repulsive softness parameter for alkali halides has been presented on the basis of the additivity rule. The softness parameters for individual ions have been obtained using data from three different sources viz. overlap data, molecular data and crystal data. The softness parameters so derived are used to evaluate the bulk modulus and its pressure dependence for 20 alkali halides with NaCl and CsCl structures adopting Smith's distortion model for repulsive interactions. Some attractive features of the present approach have been discussed in order to demonstrate its superiority over the previous work.  相似文献

The lifetimes for the states of magnetic dipole band in106Ag have been measured using the Doppler-shift attenuation method via the reaction of100Mo(11B,5n)106Ag at a beam energy of 60 MeV.The reduced transition strengths of the magnetic dipole band,the B(M1)/B(E2)ratios together with the signature of the level energy as a function of angular momentum for the positive parity states of106Ag show that a drastic change of excitation mode,that is,from electric rotation to magnetic rotation,occurs within one unit of spin at around Iπ=12+.Theoretical calculations based on the triaxial projected shell model consistently reproduce the experimental data and provide an explanation on the nature of observed phenomena such that the dynamical drift of the rotational axis suddenly from the principal axis to the tilted one,along the positive parity bands of106Ag.  相似文献

superdeformed bands in the A~190 region are systematically analyzed by using the twoparameter expansion of quantum group Uqp(u2) Model. The calculated results of E2 transition γ ray energies are in agreement with experimental data. According to three different methods for the spin assignment of rotational bands, the spin values of the band head I0 of the yrast SD bands in 194Hg(1) and 194Pb(1) are assigned. Furthermore, the physical meaning of the nuclear softness is discussed, and these nuclear softness values of a signature partner are almost equal.  相似文献

Photoemission has emerged over the last decade as a powerful method for studying electronic band structures. The applicabhty of the method to metals was established by Berglund and Spicer1 in their landmark experiments on Cu and Ag. It had been believed, largely on the basis of optical absorption data, that the upper edge of the d bands in Cu and Ag lay at 2 and 4 eV below the Fermi level, respectively. Berglund and Spicer's measurements of the photoelectron energy spectra revealed these edges in a spectacular way and also uncovered some of the substructure of the d bands. Since then the technique has undergone some refinement and has been applied to a large number of materials. Photoemission measurements share the advantage of optical absorption measurements in that they are able to probe electronic states well removed from the Ferrni level. They have the added advantage that they give the initial and final energies as well as the frequencies of prominent optical transitions.  相似文献

The first measurements of the resonant Mössbauer self-absorption of the long-lived 109m Ag isomer gamma rays as a function of the declination angle of the gamma beams from the horizontal direction are presented for a gamma source that represents a single-crystal silver plate doped with a parent 109Cd nuclide. The resonant absorption is manifested as a minimum of the counting rate ratio of the 109m Ag and 241Am (control gamma source) gamma-line intensities at a zero-declination angle for one of two detectors and an angle of about 1° for another detector. The magnitude of the effect is in agreement with the results of our previous experiments performed on another setup. It follows, from the data obtained, that the angular width of the gamma-resonance profile is less than two degrees, which corresponds to a broadening factor of the Mössbauer gamma line of less than five. The value of this factor calculated from the measured relative magnitude of the 109m Ag gamma-ray resonant absorption is 6.3 ?1.9 +5.2 .  相似文献

Using high-resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy the phonon dispersion of Ag(100) has been studied at two different sample temperatures of 86 and 300 K. The dominant feature in the spectra corresponds to the Rayleigh wave. Its full dispersion is determined along the ΓX high symmetry direction in the first and second Brillouin zones. The Rayleigh phonon maximum at the X point shows a redshift with increasing temperature. This is explained based on a surface anharmonicity with an anharmonicity constant of 0.014, comparable to the value reported for Cu(100). In the vicinity of the Γ point two additional phonon features have been discovered at about 110 and 160 cm(-1), which are tentatively assigned to high density of states features from the bulk phonon bands. However, the observed steep dispersion is in contrast to theoretical calculations. Along ΓX two surface resonance branches have been observed with maximum frequencies in the range of 90-110 cm(-1) near to the zone boundary. These branches agree with helium atom scattering data where available, but are not predicted by theory.  相似文献

Gamma-rays associated with the decay of states in the 102Ag nucleus have been identified, sixty-four of them for the first time following the reaction 50Cr(56Fe, 3pn)102Ag at a mean energy of 195 MeV. Identification was made using an array of nine escape-suppressed Ge detectors coupled to the Daresbury Recoil Separator. Excited states in 102Ag were identified using recoil-gamma and γγ coincidences. From the intensity balance and the coincidence data, a new set of levels was identified which may be interpreted as reminiscent of “three-quasiparticle” bands in neighboring odd-mass nuclei and similar to a four-quasi-particle band observed in 106Ag.  相似文献

The structures of the lowest total energy for small AgN clusters with N = 2-20, which are grown on Ag(1 1 1) and Ni(1 1 1) surfaces, have been determined using a combination of the embedded-atom method and the basin-hopping algorithm. It is found that the particularly stable Ag clusters with N<18 have similar geometries on both surfaces when comparing clusters of the same size. On the other hand, the geometries of the less stable Ag clusters in the same size range differ for the two surfaces. From N?18, the sizes of the particularly stable structures are different for the two different substrates. Due to the large size mismatch of the two types of atoms it is energetically unfavorable for Ag to form a pseudomorphic monolayer structures on Ni(1 1 1) and there is considerable strain produced at the interface. The effect of this strain and the increased adatom-substrate interactions lead to irregular and elongated structures of the adsorbed Ag clusters.  相似文献

An alpha-decay branch of (1.4+/-0.4) x 10(-4) has been discovered in the decay of 109I, which predominantly decays via proton emission. The measured Q(alpha) value of 3918+/-21 keV allows the indirect determination of the Q value for proton emission from 105Sb of 356+/-22 keV, which is approximately of 130 keV more bound than previously reported. This result is relevant for the astrophysical rapid proton-capture process, which would terminate in the 105Sn(p,gamma)106Sb(p,gamma)107Te(alpha decay)103Sn cycle at the densities expected in explosive hydrogen burning scenarios, unless unusually strong pairing effects result in a 103Sn(p,gamma)104Sb(p,gamma)105Te(alpha decay)101Sn) cycle.  相似文献

The effect of gamma irradiation in the dose range of 5-500 kGy on the optical absorption and luminescence spectra of Nd doped phosphate glass is reported. The spectral absorption of this glass before and after gamma irradiation was measured in the spectral range 300-900 nm at room temperature using spectrophotometer and synchrotron beamline. Drastic increase in absorption was noted below 600 nm after gamma irradiation, which was dependent on the dose of irradiation. Additional absorption (AA) spectra of irradiated sample shows generation of two absorption bands below 600 nm, which finally became one very broad band peak with increased intensity at irradiation dose of 500 kGy. AA spectra also show the presence of negative peaks at the location of absorption peaks of Nd3+. Photoluminescence of Nd doped phosphate glass shows two strong bands which decreases to a very low intensity with a red shift after gamma irradiation. These results indicate that irradiation produces different kinds of defects in the glass material along with conversion of valence state of Nd3+ to Nd2+. This change was found irreversible at room temperature.  相似文献

Silver (Ag) nanoparticles with different average sizes are prepared, and the nonlinear absorption and refraction of these nanoparticles are investigated with femtosecond laser pulses at 800 nm. The smallest Ag nanoparticles show insignificant nonlinear absorption, whereas the larger ones show saturable absorption. By considering the previously reported positive nonlinear absorption of 9 nm Ag nanoparticles, the nonlinear absorptions of Ag nanoparticles are found to be size-dependent. All these nonlinear absorptions can be compatibly explained from the viewpoints of electronic transitions, energy bands and electronic structures in the conduction band of Ag nanoparticles. The nonlinear refraction is attributed to the effect of hot electrons arising from the intraband transition in the s–p conduction band of Ag nanoparticles.  相似文献

The level structures of neutron-rich ~(105)Mo,~(106)Mo,~(108)Mo and 110Ru nuclei in A≈100 region have been carefully investigated by coincidence measurements of the prompt γ-rays populated in the spontaneous fission of ~(252)Cf with the Gammasphere detector array.In 105Mo,one-phonon K =9/2 and two-phonon K=13/2 γ-vibrational bands have been identified.In ~(108)Mo,one-phonon γ-vibrational band is expanded and two-phonon γ-vibrational band has been identified.Two similar sets of bands in ~(106)Mo and ~(110)Ru are observed to high spins,which have been proposed as the soft chiral γ-vibrational bands.The characteristics for these γ-vibrational bands and chiral doublet bands have been discussed.  相似文献

When a laser pulse of intensity 10(19) W cm(-2) interacts with solid targets, electrons of energies of some tens of MeV are produced. In a tantalum target, the electrons generate an intense highly directional gamma-ray beam that can be used to carry out photonuclear reactions. The isotopes 11C, 38K, (62,64)Cu, 63Zn, 106Ag, 140Pr, and 180Ta have been produced by (gamma,n) reactions using the VULCAN laser beam. In addition, laser-induced nuclear fission in 238U has been demonstrated, a process which was theoretically predicted at such laser intensities more than ten years ago. The ratio of the 11C and the 62Cu beta(+) activities yields shot-by-shot temperatures of the suprathermal electrons at laser intensities of approximately 10(19) W cm(-2).  相似文献

基于Ru (Z = 44) 丰中子同位素中存在最大三轴形变的理论预言和实验证据,综述了近年来Rh (Z = 45),Pd (Z =46), Ag (Z =47), Cd (Z =48)(质子数Z 位于Ru,Z =44 之上)及Zr (Z =40), Nb (Z =41), Mo (Z =42),Tc (Z =43)(质子数Z 位于Ru,Z =44 之下) 的A~ (100~126) 丰中子同位素中关于三轴形变的形状变迁和形状共存系统性研究的重要进展。252Cf 自发裂变瞬发 射线-- 三重符合、特别是新建立的--- 四重符合数据的系统观测和研究,在Ru, Pd, Cd 和Nb 丰中子同位素中显著扩展或首次观测到了一系列能带,为这个核区原子核形状的研究提供了新的、重要的实验数据。联系此前报道的有关进展,使用PES, TRS, PSM, CCCSM 和SCTAC 理论模型计算拟合新的实验数据,在该核区沿同中素和同位素链,并随自旋和激发能变化各自由度,跟踪原子核形状渐进变化,获得了新的系统性研究成果,显著扩展和深化了人们对原子核形状变迁和形状共存的认知。对于Ru 及其上的Rh (Z = 45), Pd (Z = 46), Ag (Z = 47) 和Cd (Z = 48) 丰中子同位素的研究表明:Rh 丰中子核具有比最大值稍小的三轴形变,γ = 28°,并在103{106Rh 同位素链上鉴别出了手征对称破缺;在三轴形变核112Ru和114Pd(N = 68)中发现了三轴原子核的摆动运动,该摆动运动也可能在114Ru (N = 70)中存在;观察到了从具有最大三轴形变的110,112Ru 中手征破缺到稍小三轴形变的112,114,116Pd 中扰动的手征破缺的过渡;在较软的Ag 核中观察到了丰富的谱学结构,在104,105Ag 中鉴别出了可能的手征对称破缺,在较重的115,117Ag 中提出了趋于三轴形变的软度;具有小形变的Cd核的能级结构被解释为准粒子耦合、准转动和软三轴形变;最近的库伦激发的研究提供了Z = 50, N = 82满壳附近122,124,126Cd 核中出现核集体性的实验和理论证据;上述研究成果展现出从Ru中的最大三轴形变(γ=30°,三轴形变极小增益为0.67 MeV), 经具有大三轴形变的Rh核γ=28°),到Pd核中的稍小、但稳定于中等自旋到高自旋区的三轴形变(γ~41°,三轴形变极小增益为0.32 MeV),再经Ag核中的软度,最后到具有很小形变、但仍出现集体性质、包括软三轴形变的Cd核的过渡。对于Pd核转动带交叉系统性的研究揭示了其第一带交叉(νh11/2)2 中子转动顺排的上行驱动,和第二带交叉(πg9/2)2质子转动顺排的下行驱动效应,成功地解释了114Pd 中的三轴摆动运动,并给出了110-118Pd同位素链中理论早已预言、而比早期理论预言更为完整准确的形状渐进变迁和形状共存的图像。根据该核区的系统研究,发现最大三轴形变出现在112Ru,而在相邻的偶Z(Pd)同位素链,三轴形变极小的中心在114Pd, 两者均为N = 68。上述系统性研究沿相邻的Ru和Pd偶Z同位素链,在N =68同中素中鉴别出最大三轴形变,均比理论预言的108Ru 和110Pd 多4个中子。在Z值位于Ru (Z = 44) 之下的Zr (Z = 40), Nb (Z = 41), Mo (Z = 42) and Tc (Z = 43) 丰中子同位素中,Y和Zr核具有很强的轴对称四极形变,而在较重的Zr同位素中出现了自由度;较重的Nb核(A = 104~106) 基态具有中等程度的软三轴形变和强四极形变,随着自旋和激发能的增加,过渡到接近于轴对称的强四极形变;而较轻的Nb核(A≤103) 基态均接近轴对称形状;在Nb同位素链上基态由球形到强四极形变的形状突变发生在100Nb(N = 59),在100-106Nb同位素链中基态的软三轴形变随中子数增加而增加;在Nb核中还观察到关于软三轴形变的形状共存;Mo核具有大的三轴形变,观察到了振动和手征对称破缺;Tc核具有比最大值稍小的三轴形变,γ=26°,并观察到了手征对称破缺。质子数Z从41到48的A~(100~126)丰中子同位素,特别是Pd和Nb 同位素,呈现出关于三轴形变的过渡特征。This paper reviews the systematic investigations and understanding for the shape transitions and coexistence with regard to triaxial deformations in A s 100 to 126 neutron-rich Rh (Z = 45), Pd (Z = 46), Ag (Z = 47), Cd (Z = 48) and Zr (Z = 40), Nb (Z = 41), Mo (Z = 42), Tc (Z = 43) isotopes with Z beyond and below Ru (Z = 44), respectively, in Ru the maximal triaxial deformation having been predicted and deduced. The recent measurements and studies of prompt triple- and four-fold, γ-γ-γ and γ-γ-γ-γ, coincidence data from the spontaneous fission of 252Cf using Gammasphere have yielded considerable expansion and extension or first observation of the bands in Ru, Pd, Cd, and Nb isotopes,which provided important data for the studies of nuclear shapes in this region. Combined with previous investigations, recent systematic studies of the new data well reproduced by PES, TRS, PSM, CCCSM and SCTAC model calculations have traced shape changes along the isotonic and isotopic chains, respectively,and with changing excitations/spins as well, significantly expanding our knowledge of shape transitions/coexistence in nuclei.For the neutron-rich Ru and beyond, Rh, Pd, Ag and Cd isotopes, triaxial deformations γ= 28°,slightly smaller than the maximal value, were deduced in Rh (Z = 45) isotopes, with chiral symmetry breaking proposed in 103-106Rh; onset of wobbling motions were identified in 112Ru and 114Pd (N =68),and probably also in 114Ru (N =70); evolution from chiral symmetry breaking in 110,112Ru with maximal triaxial deformations to disturbed chirality in 112,114,116Pd with less pronounced triaxial deformations was proposed; rich nuclear structure was proposed in soft Ag isotopes with possible chiral doubling structure suggested in 104,105Ag, and softness towards triaxial deformation proposed in heavier 115,117Ag;quasi-particle couplings, quasi-rotations and soft triaxiality were suggested in Cd (Z =48) isotopes with small deformations; onset of collectivity was recently suggested in 122,124,126Cd in the vicinity of Z =50 and N = 82 closed shells by studies of Coulomb excitations; shape evolutions from maximal triaxial deformations in Ru (γ=30°, with triaxial minimum energy gain of 0.67 MeV), through Rh with large triaxial deformations ( γ=28°), to less pronounced triaxiality in Pd (with triaxial minimum energy gain of 0.32 MeV), then soft triaxiality in Ag, and finally to slightly deformed Cd isotopes but with emergence of collectivity and soft triaxiality were proposed. The systematic studies of the band crossings in Pd revealed up-rising drivings of the first band crossings caused by (νh11/2)2 and down-sloping drivings of the second band crossings by (πg9/2)2, explained the onset of wobbling motions in 114Pd,and showed a long-sought picture of shape evolution and coexistence in the Pd isotopic chain which is more complete but complex than earlier predictions. Based on the systematic studies in the mass region,maximal triaxial deformation is found to be reached in 112Ru and less-pronounced triaxiality centered at 114Pd, both for N =68, four neutrons more than predicted in earlier theoretical calculations.In the neutron-rich Zr (Z =40), Nb (Z =41), Mo (Z =42) and Tc (Z =43) isotopes with Z just below Ru, large quadrupole deformations of axially symmetric shapes were deduced in Y and Zr isotopes, with emergence of the degree of freedom having been suggested for heavier Zr isotopes; medium triaxial deformations were deduced for the ground states of heavier (A > 104) Nb isotopes, and, with increasing excitations and spins, evolution from medium triaxial deformations with strong quadrupole deformations at ground states to nearly axially-symmetric shapes were deduced; light Nb isotopes (A6103) have near axially-symmetric shapes with strong quadrupole deformations; combining with the identification of onset of strong quadrupole deformation at 100Nb in the Nb isotopic chain, an increase of soft triaxiality with increasing neutron number was proposed in 100-106Nb. Shape coexistence with regard to soft triaxiality is also proposed in Nb isotopes; large triaxial deformations, vibrations and chiral doublets were proposed in Mo isotopes; chiral doubling and large triaxial deformations (γ ~26°) slightly smaller than the maximal triaxiality were suggested in Tc isotopes.The neutron-rich nuclei with Z ranging from 41 through 48 and A ~100 to 126, especially the Pd and Nb isotopes are thus found to be transitional nuclei with regard to triaxiality.  相似文献

The 106Pd(p, d)105Pd reaction has been studied at 22.9 MeV with an energy resolution of 13 keV. Angular distributions permitted the assignment of l-values and the extraction of spectroscopic factors for 13 states including several previously unresolved l = 2 transitions. The 106Pd(3He, d)107Ag reaction has also been studied at 32.8 MeV with a resolution of 20 keV. Angular distributions were obtained, l-values assigned and spectroscopic factors extracted for 14 levels including many not observed previously in a proton transfer reaction. The level structure of 105Pd and 107Ag is discussed particularly in terms of quasirotational bands.  相似文献

本文应用时间分辨表面增强拉曼光谱(TRSERS)结合电位阶跃和电位扫描的方法,研究了硫脲和ClO-4在Ag电极表面的共吸附层结构。结果表明SERS谱峰强度随电极电位的响应速率与电位阶跃扫描的方向有关,TU和ClO-4在Ag表面的共吸附层在不同的电位下存在两种不同的构型,并且两种构型之间转化的难易程度不同。  相似文献
