Bis(pyrene) derivative of diazatetrathia-crown ether has been prepared and its Hg2+-selective fluoroionophoric properties were investigated. The compound showed a pronounced Hg2+-selectivity and other metal ions except for Cu2+ showed almost no discernible responses. The Hg2+-selectivity of the compound was also confirmed by the competitive experiments performed in the presence of physiologically important metal ions and the detection limit was found to be 1.6 × 10−6 M. The prominent selective and efficient fluorescence quenching behavior could be utilized as a new chemosensing system for the analysis of toxic Hg2+ ions in aqueous environment.  相似文献

Diametrically disubstituted bis(anthrylmethyl) derivative of 1,8-dimethylcyclam exhibited pronounced Hg2+- and Cd2+-selective fluorogenic behaviors in aqueous acetonitrile solution. A distinctive OFF-ON type signaling was observed for Hg2+ and Cd2+ ions in aqueous acetonitrile (CH3CN-H2O = 90:10, v/v) solution, while a selective ON-OFF type switching behavior toward Hg2+ ions was observed in solution having higher water content (CH3CN-H2O = 50:50, v/v). The detection limit for the analysis of Hg2+ ions in 50% aqueous acetonitrile was found to be 3.8 × 10−6 M. The selective OR logic gate behavior of the prepared compound toward two toxic heavy metal ions of Hg2+ and Cd2+ ions in CH3CN-H2O (90:10, v/v) suggests the possibility as a new chemosensing device for the two important target metal ions.  相似文献

A new fluorogenic ionophore has been prepared by conjugating calix[4]-crown-5 ether with boron-dipyrromethene fluorophore. The ionophore exhibited a pronounced selective ON-OFF type response toward Ca2+ ions over other physiologically important metal ions of Na+, K+, and Mg2+. The interaction with Ca2+ ions resulted in very efficient quenching of fluorescence at 507 nm excited by relatively long wavelength irradiation at 480 nm. The selectivity ratios toward Ca2+ ions over other tested physiologically important metal ions were larger than 180 in aqueous 95% MeOH solution.  相似文献

A new fluorescent chemosensor for Hg2+ based on a dansyl amide-armed calix[4]-aza-crown was reported. It exhibits high sensitivity and selectivity toward Hg2+ over a wide range of metal ions in MeCN-H2O (4:1, v/v). The association constant of the 1:1 complex formation for 2-Hg2+ was calculated to be 1.31 × 105 M−1, and the detection limit for Hg2+ was found to be 4.1 × 10−6 mol L−1.  相似文献

The synthesis, characterisation and X-ray crystal structures of p-tert-butyl-calix[4]arene-thioamide L and its complex with lead L-Pb2+ is reported. The cation-binding properties in solution have been assessed by liquid-liquid extraction of the metal picrates from water into dichloromethane and by stability constants determination in acetonitrile using UV-absorption spectrophotometry or potentiometry. The compound was used as active material in Pb-ion-selective membrane electrodes. The characteristics of these electrodes as well as the selectivity coefficients for Pb2+ cation versus many metal ions tested were obtained. Complex formation constants within the electrode membranes were determined using the sandwich membrane method and were compared to those obtained in acetonitrile. The lead concentration in the scrap-lead was determined with the use of electrodes incorporating the ligand studied.  相似文献

Photo-switchable calixarenes consisting of a stilbene or azobenzene bridge, spanning the narrow rim as a switching unit, were synthesized through reductive coupling of o-, m- and p-bis-benzaldehyde and bis-nitrobenzene-substituted calix[4]arenes. Both cis- and trans-stilbenes were produced from the reductive coupling of the o- and m-bis-benzaldehyde with the cis isomer being predominant for both regioisomers, whilst the coupling of p-bis-benzaldehyde gave only cis product. On the other hand, the only isolable product obtained from the reductive coupling of bis-o- and bis-m-nitrobenzene was the corresponding trans-azobenzene and the coupling product from bis-p-nitrobenzene was not stable. Each of the synthesized compounds showed a photostationary state in their cis-trans isomerization. The complexation of alkali metal ions was observed for only the o-azobenzene derivative suggesting that the lone pair of N-atom in the azo bridge participates in this process.  相似文献

A novel fluorometric sensor bearing three dansyl moieties based on tris[2-(2-aminoethylthio)ethyl]amine was prepared by a simple approach using a conventional two-step synthesis. The sensor exhibits highly Hg2+-selective ON-OFF fluorescence quenching behavior in aqueous acetonitrile solutions and is shown to discriminate various competing metal ions, particularly Cu2+, Ag+, and Pb2+ as well as Ca2+, Cd2+, Co2+, Fe3+, Mn2+, Na+, Ni2+, and Zn2+, with a detection limit of 1.15 × 10−7 M or 23 ppb.  相似文献

A novel macromolecule based on 2-[3-(2-aminoethylthio)propylthio]ethanamine covalently bound to two 7-nitrobenzo-2-oxa-1,3-diazolyl moieties was prepared as a fluoroionophore and a chromophore for the selective optical detection of Hg2+. The sensor was prepared in two steps and its fluoroionophoric and chromophoric properties toward various transition metal, alkali, and alkali earth cations were investigated. Compound 4 selectively binds Hg2+, and the binding is indicated by both fluorescence quenching and a chromogenic change which can be detected by the naked eye. In an 80:20 acetonitrile/water solvent mixture, 4 acts as an ON-OFF fluorescence switch upon Hg2+ binding, exhibiting efficient quenching and a detection limit of 10−7 M or 20 ppb.  相似文献

p-tert-Butylcalix[8]arene bonded capillaries for open-tubular capillary electrochromatography were prepared with γ-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane as a bridge. The bonded capillary displayed low and steady electroosmotic flow (EOF) values over the pH range from 4 to 9. Detection limits for direct spectrophotometric detection at 277 nm for benzenediols (at a signal to noise ratio of 2) were 0.96 mg l−1 for the unbonded capillary and 1.48 mg l−1 for the bonded capillary, showing that the bonded layer did not show significant absorbance and hence decreased sensitivity. The bonded capillaries showed good separation selectivity for o-, m- and p-benzenediols, α- and β-naphthols, and α- and β-naphthylamines. This selectivity was attributed to significant interactions between the analytes and the bonded p-tert-butylcalix[8]arene, which contributed to the electrochromatographic separation mechanism. The bonded capillaries gave high stability and reproducibility.  相似文献

The article describes the synthesis and evaluation of the dichromate anion (Cr2O72−/HCr2O7) extraction properties of p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene diamide derivatives (5-7) containing different binding sites. Among these compounds, 6 and 7 have been synthesized via aminolysis in a toluene-methanol solvent system with 3-aminomethylpyridine and 3,6-dioxa-1,8-diamino octane, respectively. On the other hand, compound 5 has been synthesized via an acid chloride method due to its inefficiency under aminolysis. The extraction properties of these diamides toward dichromate anions are studied by liquid-liquid extraction. The results show that p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene diamide derivative 7 exhibited a much higher affinity toward dichromate anions than that of 6 due to its special structure, while 5 was an ineffective ligand for these anions.  相似文献

The first examples of doubly bridged calix[7]arenes 2a-h have been obtained by base-promoted O-alkylation of p-tert-butylcalix[7]arene 1 or 1,4-tetramethylene-bridged calix[7]arene 3a with a variety of bis-electrophiles including BrCH2Cl, oligoethylene glycol ditosylates, and 1,2-bis(bromomethyl)benzene. In the presence of Cs2CO3 as the base, in acetone, the syn-1,4:2,3-bis-bridged regioisomer was obtained in yields up to 76%. Assignment of bridging pattern was based on chemical shift of OH groups in conjunction with chemical correlations with known compounds. Stereochemical and conformational features were investigated with the aid of 2D and Dynamic NMR studies and MM3 calculations.  相似文献

A new chemosensor with a phenanthroimidazole subunit based upon calix[4]arene-diamide has been synthesized, and its Mg2+-selective fluoroionophoric properties were investigated in an aqueous DMSO solution. The compound exhibited a pronounced Mg2+-selective fluoroionophoric behavior over other physiologically relevant metal ions. A significant red shift in fluorescence emission (Δλ = 86 nm) provided the ratiometric determination as well as naked-eye detection of Mg2+ ions.  相似文献

A new pyrene-containing fluorescent sensor has been synthesized from 2,3,3-trimethylindolenine. Spectroscopic and photophysical properties of sensor are presented. The large change in fluorescence intensity (I/I0 = 0.13) at 381 nm and affinity to Hg2+ over other cations such as K+, Na+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Pb2+, and Cu2+ make this compound a useful chemosensor for Hg2+ detection in hydrophilic media. The sensor (6.0 × 10−6 M) displays significant fluorescence quenching upon addition of Hg2+ in pH 7.4 HEPES buffer without excimer formation. Job’s plot analysis shows the binding stoichiometry to be 2:1 (host/guest).  相似文献

1,3-Di(2-pyridylmethoxy)-p-tert-butyldihomooxacalix[4]arene-crown-6 (2) was synthesized for the first time. 2 was isolated in a cone conformation in solution at room temperature, as established by NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C and NOESY). Complete assignment of both proton and carbon NMR spectra was achieved by a combination of COSY, HSQC and HMBC experiments. The binding properties of ligand 2 towards alkali, alkaline earth, transition and heavy metal cations have been assessed by phase transfer and proton NMR titration experiments. The results are compared to those obtained with other dihomooxacalix[4]arene-crowns-6 and closely-related calix[4]arene-crown derivatives. 2 shows a preference for the soft heavy metal cations (except for Cd2+), with a very strong affinity for Ag+. Some transition metal cations are also well extracted. 2 forms 1:1 complexes with K+, Ca2+ and Ag+, and 1H NMR titrations indicate that they should be encapsulated into the cavity defined by the crown ether unit and by the two pyridyl pendant arms. A 1:2 (ML2) complex is formed with Zn2+ and two species, probably 1:1 and 1:2 complexes, are obtained with Pb2+.  相似文献

A series of di-ionizable calix[4]arene-1,3-crown-4 compounds has been synthesized. The ionizable groups are oxyacetic acid and N-(X)sulfonyl oxyacetamide groups with X=methyl, phenyl, 4-nitrophenyl and trifluoromethyl, which ‘tunes’ the acidity of the latter. The efficiency and selectivity of these novel ligands are assessed with competitive solvent extractions of alkaline earth metal cations from aqueous solutions into chloroform. The results are compared with those reported previously for calix[4]arene-crown analogues with crown-6 and crown-5 rings.  相似文献

The synthesis and calcium-selective chromogenic ion binding properties of benzothiazolium derivative of calix[4]arene are described. The merocyanine-type ionophore derived from calix[4]arene-diamide showed selective chromogenic properties toward Ca2+ ions in aqueous methanol. The compound showed significant Ca2+ ion dependent changes in UV-vis spectral properties in the presence of other physiologically important metal ions (Na+, K+, and Mg2+). The pH sensitive chromogenic behavior also suggests that the compound can be used as a sensitive pH indicator around pH 6.5.  相似文献

Reaction of p-tert-butylcalix[8]arene 1 with adipoyl chloride in the presence of NaH as the base yielded singly and doubly intrabridged esters 2-4 and 6. Surprisingly, calix[8]arene monospirodienone derivative 7 was also isolated, which was originated by O2 oxidation. The conditions of this oxidation were optimized leading to a novel synthetic approach to calixarene monospirodienones based on the O2/NaH/acyl-chloride oxidizing system. A new poly(vinyl chloride)-based membranes containing p-(4-n-butylphenylazo)calix[4]arene (I) as an electroactive material along with sodiumtetraphenylborate (NaTPB), and dibutyl(butyl)phosphonate in the ratio 10:100:1:200 (I:DBBP:NaTPB:PVC) (w/w) was used to fabricate a new cobalt(II)-selective sensor. It exhibited a working concentration range of 9.2 × 10−6 to 1.0 × 10−1 M, with a Nernstian slope of 29.0 ± 1.0 mV/decade of activity and the response time of 25 s. This sensor shows the detection limit of 4.0 × 10−6 M. Its potential response remains unaffected of pH in the range, 4.0-7.2, and the cell assembly can be used successfully in partially non-aqueous medium (up to 10%, v/v) without significant change in the slope of working concentration range. The sensor has a lifetime of about 3 months and exhibits excellent selectivity over a number of mono-, bi-, and tri-valent cations including alkali, alkaline earth metal, heavy and transition metal ions. It can be used as an indicator electrode for the end point determination in the potentiometric titration of cobalt ions against ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) as well as for the determination of cobalt ion concentration in real samples.  相似文献
