Excess molar volumes (VmE) at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure for 2-methoxyethanol or 2-butoxyethanol + 2,5-dioxahexane, +2,5,8-trioxanonane, +3,6,9-trioxaundecane, +5,8,11-trioxapentadecane, or +2,5,8,11,14-pentaoxapentadecane, or for 2-ethoxyethanol + 2,5,8-trioxanonane, +3,6,9-trioxaundecane, or +5,8,11-pentaoxapentadecane have been obtained from densities measured with and Anton-Paar DMA 602 vibrating-tube densimeter.They are usually small in absolute value. It is due to a compensation between positive and negative contributions to the excess molar volume. For example, free volume effects present in solutions with the pentaether are compensated by the positive contribution to VmE from the rupture of dipole-dipole interactions between ether molecules.  相似文献

Excess molar volumes VmE at 25°C and atmospheric pressure over the entire composition range for binary mixtures of 1-hexanol with n-polyethers: 2,5-dioxahexane, 3,6-dioxaoctane, 2,5,8-trioxanonane, 3,6,9-trioxaundecane, 5,8,11-trioxapentadecane, 2,5,8,11-tetraoxadodecane, and 2,5,8,11,14-pentaoxapentadecane are reported from densities measured with a vibrating-tube densimeter. Systems containing 2,5-dioxahexane, 2,5,8-trioxanonane, 2,5,8,11-tetraoxadodecane or 2,5,8,11,14-pentaoxapentadecane are characterized by VmE > 0, probably due to predominant positive contributions to VmE from the disruption of H bonds of 1-hexanol and to physical interactions. In contrast, mixtures with 3,6-dioxaoctane, 3,6,9-trioxaundecane, and 5,8,11-trioxapentadecane are characterized by VmE < 0, indicating that the negative contribution to VmE from interstitial accommodation is more important.  相似文献

Excess molar volumes are usually positive,indicating predominance of positive contributions to V E m from the disruption ofH bonds of alcohols and from physical interactions. When chain lengths ofboth components of the mixture are increased, the contribution from interstitialaccommodation appears to be sufficiently negative, such that V E m becomes negative(e.g., l-nonanol + 5,8,11-tetraoxapentadecane).  相似文献

Excess molar volumes, VmE, at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure over the entire composition range for binary mixtures of 2-butanone with di-n-butyl ether and 2-pentanone and 3-pentanone with di-n-butyl ether and 2,5-dioxahexane, 2-heptanone and 4-heptanone with di-n-butyl ether, 2,5-dioxahexane and 3,6,9-trioxaundecane are reported from densities measured with a vibrating-tube densimeter. All the excess volumes present strong contractions when compared to those of n-alkanone+n-alkane systems.Molar excess enthalpies HmE and VmE of the considered mixtures vary similarly. This may be attributed to interactional effects which prevail over structural effects.Flory’s theory has been applied to the systems under study. As expected, results for HmE are better when the difference in polarity of the components of the mixture decreases. VmE is often poorly represented.  相似文献

The excess volumes of cyclopentane + n-hexane, + n-heptane, n-dodecane; cyclohexane + n-pentane; cycloheptane+ n-pentane, n-octane and n-dodecane have been measured at two temperatures. The results together with literature values reported for other systems of the type cycloalkane + an n-alkane have been discussed and the trends highlighted.VEm and HEm results from our work and from the literature, for the systems cyclopentane or cyclohexane + an n-alkane, have been analysed in the light of the statistical theory of Flory.  相似文献

Total vapour pressures have been measured by the isoteniscope method for triethylamine + n-hexane, triethylamine + n-octane, and tributylamine + n-hexane at 298.15 K. The excess Gibbs free energies GE for the liquid phase have been calculated from the measurements; GE is positive for the triethylamine systems and negative for the tributylamine system. The excess enthalpies HE for these three mixtures and for tributylamine + n-octane have been measured at the same temperature. Except for tributylamine + n-hexane, all these HE's are positive.  相似文献

The binding of ions Li+, Na+, K+, (group I), Mg2+, Al3+, Ga3+ (group II), Ca2+, Pb2+ (group III) ions, Ba2+ and paraquat by heterocyclophanes containing biindolizine and quinoxaline fragments connected by 3,6,9-trioxaundecane and 5,8,11,14,17-pentaoxageneicosane spacers, and also their acyclic analogues, in the acetonitrile-0.1 M Bu4NBF4 is studied by cyclic voltammetry. A conclusion is drawn that the ions of the group I are not bound by these compounds; the paraquat is not bound by heterocyclophane with the 5,8,11,14,17-pentaoxageneicosan spacers. For ions of the group II, reversible redox-switchable binding by the macrocycles with the 3,6,9-trioxaundecane and 5,8,11,14,17-pentaoxageneicosan spacers is observed: the initial compounds show the binding; their radical cations and dications do not. The binding of the ions of the group III and Ba2+ is determined by the macrocycles’ size. In particular, these ions are bound not only by the heterocyclophane with 3,6,9-trioxaundecane spacers but also by its radical cation or dication. The binding results in the corresponding dication stabilization. The heterocyclophane with the 5,8,11,14,17-pentaoxageneicosan spacers demonstrates the redox-switchable binding of Ca2+ and Pb2+ ions; no effect of Ba2+ ions on the cyclic voltammograms of this heterocyclophane was observed. In the ternary system “heterocyclophane with 3,6,9-trioxaundecane spacers + ions of the group II (Al3+, Ga3+) + ions of the group III (Ca2+, Pb2+)” either primary binding of the group III ion Pb2+ or concurrent binding of the ions of the group II and the group III, with the system’s reversible redox-switching from one metal complex to another, was observed.  相似文献

Excess volumes VE for trichloroethene (CCl2CHCl) + benzene, + toluene, + p-xylene, + tetrachloromethane, and + trichloromethane have been measured at 303.15 K, by direct dilatometry. VE has been found to be positive for trichloroethene + benzene, and + trichloromethane, and negative for trichloroethene + toluene, and + p-xylene. For trichloroethene + tetrachloromethane VE is positive at low mole fractions of C2HCl3 and negative at high mole fractions.  相似文献

Outer-sphere addition compounds of MoO2Br2(H2O)2 with diethyl ether, dioxane, glyme, diglyme, triglyme and tetraglyme have been readily prepared by crystallizing diethyl ether extracts of a solution of sodium molybdate in concentrated hydrobromic acid in the presence of the corresponding ether. The molecular structures of MoO2Br2(H2O)2·L (L=2,5,8-trioxanonane; 2,5,8,11,14-pentaoxapentadecane) have been established by X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

Calorimetric measurements of molar excess enthalpies, HE, at 298.15 K, of mixtures containing aromatic aldehydes of general formula C6H5(CH2)mCHO (with m = 0, 1 and 2) + n-hexane, n-heptane or benzene are reported, together with the values of HE at equimolar composition compared with the corresponding values of HE for the aromatic ketones in the same solvents. The experimental results clearly indicate that the intermolecular interactions between the carbonyl groups (CHO) are influenced by the intramolecular interactions between the carbonyl and phenyl groups, particularly for the mixtures containing benzaldehyde.  相似文献

Excess enthalpies of binary mixtures between each of alkane-1-amines {CnH2n+1NH2, n=3-8} and methyl methylthiomethyl sulfoxide (MMTSO) or dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) have been determined at 298.15 K. All mixtures showed positive enthalpy changes over the whole range of mole fractions.The limiting excess partial molar enthalpies of the aliphatic amines, H1E,∞, of all the mixtures with MMTSO or DMSO studied were smaller than those of MMTSO or DMSO, H2E,∞, respectively. Linear relations are obtained between limiting excess partial molar enthalpies and number of methylene groups.  相似文献

Excess volumes VE measured at 298.15 K in a successive-dilution dilatometer are reported for binary mixtures of the n-alkanols C1 to C4 + n-heptane. For ethanol +, and n-butanol + n-heptane, the measurements were extended to high dilutions of alkanol. VE is positive for all of the mixtures but decreases rapidly in magnitude for increasing chain length of the n-alkanol. Excess molar volumes of mixtures of n-heptane + 2,5-dioxahexane and n-heptane + 2,5,8-trioxanonane were determined from density measurentents at 5, 15, 25 and 35°C. These results allowed the following mixing quantities to be reported in all range of concentrations: , (v E /T) P and (h E /P) T , at 25°C. The obtained values were then compared with the calculated values by using the Flory theory and the Nitta-Chao theory of liquid mixtures. The results of measurements of molar excess volumes VE at 303.15 K over the whole mole fraction range for eight mixtures: n-octylacetate + n-hexane; +n--heptane; + n-octane; +nn-nonane; + n-decane; +nn-dodecane; + n-tetradecane and + n-hexadecane are presented. The experimental values of VE show a regular pattern of behaviour for the eight sets of binary mixtures. The magnitude of VE for this class of mixtures decreases as the n-alkane chain-length decreases. In order to explain the observed behaviour, the Prigogine-Flory-Patterson theory is used to predict the total VE and the three different contributions to VE. Agreement between the theoretical and experimental VE is reasonable for the eight systems  相似文献

Excess molar volumes, VmE, at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure over the entire composition range for binary mixtures of methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, 1-butanol, 1-pentanol, 1-hexanol, 1-heptanol and 1-octanol with dibutylamine are reported. They are calculated from densities measured with a vibrating-tube densimeter. All the excess volumes are large and negative over the whole mole fraction range, indicating strong interactions between unlike molecules, which are more important for the systems involving methanol or ethanol, characterized by the most negative VmE. For the other mixtures, VmE at equimolar composition, is approximately constant. The VmE curves are nearly symmetrical. The VmE and excess molar enthalpies (HmE) of the mixtures studied are consistently described by the ERAS model. The ERAS parameters confirm that the strongest interactions between unlike molecules are encountered in the methanol+dibutylamine system.  相似文献

The magnetic and electric properties of V2O3+x were investigated by measurements of magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity, magnetotorque, Mössbauer of doped 57Fe, and NMR of 51V, and the results were compared with those of the (V1?xTix)2O3 system or highly pressured V2O3. The results obtained are as follows: (1) The metallic state shows an antiferromagnetic ordering at TN (x). The value of TN for metallic V2O3, obtained by interpolation to x = 0, shows the coincidence between V2O3+x and the (V1?xTix)2O3 system. (2) Magnetic susceptibility of V2O3+x is expressed as χM(V2O3+x) = (1?x)χM(V3+) + M(V4+). χM(V4+) obeys the Curie-Weiss law M(V4+) = 0.77T + 17). (3) In the insulating phase, the electrical resistivity ? is expressed as a common equation: ? = 10?1.8exp(EkT). This implies that the substitution of Ti or nonstoichiometry (V+4 + metal vacancies) has little influence on the carrier mobility (or bandwidth). (4) There is a critical length in the c-axis (? 14.01 Å) where the metal-insulator transition takes place. This suggests that the length of the c-axis plays an important role in the metal-insulator transition of V2O3-related compounds.  相似文献

The density of the 2-chloroethanol (CE) + 2-methoxyethanol (ME) + 1,2-dimethoxye- thane (DME) ternary mixtures has been measured at different temperatures ranging from –10 to 80°C, and over the entire composition range. The experimental data have been used to check the validity of some relationships accounting for the dependence of the density on temperature and composition domains. Starting from the primary data, some derived quantities, such as excess molar volumes V E, partial molar volumes and partial excess molar volumes , have been obtained. In these mixtures, V E is always positive for the [CE(1) + ME(2)] binaries, while it is generally negative at all other experimental conditions, showing the greatest deviations along the binary axes corresponding to the binary subsystems in the sequence [CE(1) + DME(2)] < [CE(1) + ME(2)] < [ME(1) + DME(2)]. The results are compared and discussed to in terms of changes in molecular association and structural effects in these solvent systems.  相似文献
