Thermal decomposition kinetics of ML2 (M = Ni(II) and Co(II); L = 5-(2-(1,5-dimethyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)hydrazono)-1,3-dimethylpyrimidine-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-trione) complexes were investigated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The first decomposition process of the NiL2 and CoL2 complexes occurs in the temperature range of 320–350 °C. Kinetics parameters corresponding to this step, such as activation energy, Eα, and apparent pre-exponential factor, ln Aaap, were calculated from the thermogravimetric data at the heating rates of 5, 10, 15 and 20 K min−1 by differential (Friedman's equation) and integral (Flynn–Wall–Ozawa's equation) methods. The results show that the activation energy evidently depends on the extent of conversion. As far as their activation energy is concerned, NiL2 complex shows a higher thermal stability than the CoL2 complex.  相似文献

A three-dimensional complex, [CuL2(H2O)]2 (HL?=?3-hydroxy-1-adamantanecarboxylic acid), C44H64Cu2O14, was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions from CuCO3?·?Cu(OH)2 and HL. The crystal structure of the complex was determined by X-ray crystallography and its thermal behavior and IR spectra examined. The non-isothermal dehydration kinetics of the complex were investigated using the Achar differential method.  相似文献

Reaction of Keggin polyoxotungstate with copper(II)-EDTA (EDTA=ethylenediamine tetraacetate) complex under mild conditions led to the formation of hybrid inorganic-organic compounds Na4(OH)[(Cu2EDTA)PW12O40]·17H2O (1) and Na4[(Cu2EDTA)SiW12O40]·19H2O (2). The single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses reveal their two structural features: (1) one-dimensional chain structure consisting of Keggin polyoxotungstate and copper(II)-EDTA complex; (2) Two-dimensional layer architecture assembled by the one-dimensional chain structure and sodium linker. The results of magnetic measurements in the temperature range 300-2 K indicated the existence of ferromagnetic exchange interactions between the CuII ions for both compounds. In addition, TGA analysis, IR spectra, and electrochemical properties were also investigated to well characterize these two compounds.  相似文献

The complex Mn(Nica)2Cl2 (Nica=nicotinamide) was prepared, and its decomposition was studied by means of TG and DSC. The IR spectra of the products of thermal decomposition were examined at every stage. Kinetic analysis of the first stage of thermal decomposition was performed via the TG-DTG curves, and the kinetic parameters were obtained from analysis of the TG-DTG curves with integral and differential methods. The most probable kinetic function was suggested from a comparison of the kinetic parameters. Mathematical expressions were derived for the kinetic compensation effect.
Zusammenfassung Der Komplex Mn(Nica)2Cl2 (Nica steht für Nikotinamid) wurde hergestellt und seine Zersetzung mittels TG und DSC untersucht. Die thermisch zersetzten Substanzen jedes Schrittes wurden mittels IR-Spektren untersucht. Anhand der TG-DTG-Kurven erstellte man eine kinetische Analyse des ersten Schrittes der thermischen Zersetzung, die kinetischen Parameter wurden aus den TG-DTG-Kurven unter Einsatz von Integrations- und Differentialmethoden ermittelt. Durch Vergleich der kinetischen Parameter wurde die wahrscheinlichste kinetische Funktion vorgeschlagen. Mathematische Ausdrücke für den kinetischen Kompensationseffekt wurden erhalten.

Pyrolysis, one possible alternative to recover valuable products from waste plastics, has recently been the subject of renewed interest. In the present study, the isoconversion methods, i.e., Vyazovkin model-free approach is applied to study non-isothermal decomposition kinetics of waste PET samples using various temperature integral approximations such as Coats and Redfern, Gorbachev, and Agrawal and Sivasubramanian approximation and direct integration (recursive adaptive Simpson quadrature scheme) to analyze the decomposition kinetics.The results show that activation energy (Eα) is a weak but increasing function of conversion (α) in case of non-isothermal decomposition and strong and decreasing function of conversion in case of isothermal decomposition. This indicates possible existence of nucleation, nuclei growth and gas diffusion mechanism during non-isothermal pyrolysis and nucleation and gas diffusion mechanism during isothermal pyrolysis. Optimum Eα dependencies on α obtained for non-isothermal data showed similar nature for all the types of temperature integral approximations.  相似文献

This work presents results of research on thermal decomposition of nickel(II) sulfate(VI) hexahydrate in air and in helium atmosphere. On the base of TG and XRD results a mechanism of thermal decomposition of NiSO4 hydrate was established. For calculations of kinetic parameters of the Arrhenius equation, the Coats-Redfern approximation was applied. Choice of g(a) function and thus of a mechanism best describing given stage of decomposition was performed by testing 12 kinetic models. The phenomenological, kinetic and mechanistic aspects of thermal decomposition of perchlorate, nitrate, chloride, bromide and iodide complexes of cobalt(II) with the Schiff base 1,2-bis(imino-4'-antipyrinyl)ethane (GA) have been studied by TG and DTG analyses. The kinetic parameters like the activation energy, pre-exponential factor and entropy of activation were calculated. The decomposition reactions follow 'random nucleation with one nucleus on each particle - Mampel model'. Two spectrophotometric methods are described for the simultaneous determination of binary mixtures of Sn(II) and Sn(IV) in water samples and fruit juice samples, without prior separation steps, using the mean centering of ratio kinetic profiles and partial least squares (PLS) methods. The methods are based on the difference in the rate of the reactions of Sn(II) and Sn(IV) with pyrocatechol violet at pH 4.0. The methods allow rapid and accurate determination of Sn(II) and Sn(IV). The analytical characteristics of the methods for the simultaneous determination of binary mixtures of Sn(II) and Sn(IV) were calculated. The results showed that the methods were capable to simultaneous determination of 0.1–1.80 mg L−1 each of cations. The proposed methods were successfully applied to the simultaneous determination of Sn(II) and Sn(IV)in an orange juice sample.  相似文献

The electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical behavior of the binuclear and trinuclear complexes generated from the association of cis- or trans-[Ru(NH3)4(pz)2]3+/2+ (where pz represents pyrazine) and [RuEDTA(H2O)]2−/− complexes has been investigated in aqueous solution. The kinetics of manganese(II) oxalate thermal decomposition in the helium atmosphere was studied on the basis of isothermal measurements in the temperature range from 608 to 623 K. Manganese(II) oxide, MnO, was found to be the final product of reaction. The Avrami-Erofeev kinetic equation was used to describe all the experimental data in the range of decomposition degrees from 0.1 to 0.9. The determined activation energy equals 184.7 kJ mol-1 with standard deviation ±5.2 kJ mol-1. The estimated value of parameter n is 1.9 with standard deviation ±0.01 what suggests that the rate limiting step of MnC2O4 decomposition is the nucleation of new MnO phase and that the rate of nuclei growth is rising during decomposition. Non-isothermal kinetics of the thermal degradation of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) prepared by a living radical polymerization (LRP) method was performed and compared with the results obtained from PVC prepared by the conventional free-radical process (FRP). Both differential and integral isoconversional methods were applied for determining the apparent activation energy of the dehydrochlorination stage. This study made clear noticeable differences in the thermal degradation of the PVC samples under analysis. The newly synthesized LRP-PVC material has a better thermal stability and presents substantial differences in the macroscopic kinetics of the dehydrochlorination process compared with conventional FRP-PVC. These differences were assessed in quantitative terms on the basis of the kinetic triplet [Ea,A,f(α)].  相似文献

The effect of atmospheric water vapor on the kinetic rate behavior of the thermal decomposition of copper(II) carbonate hydroxide, Cu2CO3(OH)2, was investigated by means of TG-DTA coupled with a programmable humidity controller. With increasing water vapor pressure p(H2O) from 0.8 to 10.6 kPa, a systematic reduction of the reaction temperature of the thermal decomposition was observed as the continuous trend from the previous works at the lower p(H2O). Through a comparative kinetic analysis of the reaction at different p(H2O), a catalytic action of the atmospheric water vapor on the nucleation process at the first half of the reaction was identified as the possible origin of the reduction of the reaction temperature.  相似文献

A new Zn(II) 2-chlorobenzoate complex, [Zn(2-ClC6H4COO)2(nad)2] (nad = nicotinamide), was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, thermal analysis, and X-ray structure determination. The mechanism of thermal decomposition of the complex was studied by TG/DTG, DTA, IR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. The thermal decomposition is characterized as a two-step process. Zinc oxide was found as the final product of the thermal decomposition performed up to 900°C. Mass spectrometry was used to determine the volatiles released during thermal decomposition. The IR spectrum indicates that carboxylate is coordinated to zinc in monodentate coordination. [Zn(2-ClC6H4COO)2(nad)2] crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group Pn, a = 10.376(2) Å, b = 10.100(1) Å, c = 12.604(1) Å, β = 100.79(1)°. The zinc is tetrahedrally coordinated by two nitrogens of nicotinamide and two oxygens of 2-chlorobenzoate.  相似文献

The H-point standard addition method (HPSAM) for simultaneous determination of Fe(II) and Fe(III) is described. The method is based on the difference in the rate of complex formation of iron in two different oxidation states with Gallic acid (GA) at pH 5. Fe(II) and Fe(III) can be determined in the range of 0.02–4.50 μg ml−1 and 0.05–5.00 μg ml−1, respectively, with satisfactory accuracy and precision in the presence of other metal ions, which rapidly form complexes with GA under working conditions. The proposed method was successfully applied for simultaneous determination of Fe(II) and Fe(III) in several environmental and synthetic samples with different concentration ratios of Fe(II) and Fe(III).  相似文献

Photolysis of diethyl ether-oxygen charge transfer complex in the presence of Sn(Ⅱ)or Cu(Ⅱ)salts gave higher yields of the oxidation products,ethyl acetate,acetaldehyde,ethanol,ethyl formate and methanol compared with those without the salts.In addition,the photolysis of an oxygen saturated te-trahydrofuran(THF)or dibutyl ether solution gave y-butyro-lactone or butanol and butyl butyrate as major products with small amounts of undetermined compounds,respectively.Their yields were also affected by the addition of Cu(Ⅱ)or Sn(Ⅱ)salts.  相似文献

合成了两种新的钴(II)schiff碱配合物水杨醛L-甲硫氨酸-水合钴(II)(1), 邻香兰素L-甲硫氨酸-水合钴(II)(2)。通过元素分析、红外光谱、热分析等测试手段研究了配合物的性质, 并确定了配合物的组成。用气体吸收装置测定配合物在乙腈溶液中不同温度下的饱和吸氧量, 求得氧合反应的平衡常数及热力学参数, 同时探讨了温度和配体结构对配合物氧合性能的影响。用TG-DTG法研究了配合物的热稳定性及非等温热分解动力学, 并采用积分法和微分法相结合的方法,推断了两种配合物的第一步热分解反应机理, 得到了热分解反应动力学参数及其动力学方程。  相似文献

The first 119Sn NMR evidence for the presence of direct platinum–tin bond in solution has been obtained for PtCl(SnCl3)(bdpp) complex (bdpp = (2S,4S)-2,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)pentane). Various PtCl2(L2) complexes (L2 = heterobidentate P–P, P–O, P–N, P–S chelating ligands) have been reacted with tin(II)chloride resulting in the formation of the corresponding PtCl(SnCl3)(L2) derivatives. Tin(II)chloride has been inserted into the Pt–Cl bond transto the harder donor atom of the L2 ligand.  相似文献

Organotin and related tin containing compounds are a recurring motif in organometallic chemistry. Here we report a new complex resulting from the reaction of tin (II) chloride with a dithioether diallyl ether ligand created as a side product from other research in our lab. This new complex is reasonably stable and can be synthesized on the bench top with no extraordinary measures required to exclude air or moisture. Its crystal structure reveals a five coordinate pseudo-square pyramidal geometry around tin, with the ligand binding the metal through its thioether sulfurs and the chlorides bridging.  相似文献
