Three polynuclear clusters, [Cu4L8](ClO4)4·4H2O (1), [Zn3L6(H2O)6](ClO4)6·6H2O (2), and [Mn3L6(CH3OH)6](ClO4)6·4.5H2O (3) (L?=?4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2,4-triazole), obtained by the reactions of M(ClO4)2·6H2O with L have been isolated and structurally characterized. Complex 1 featured a tetranuclear Cu(I) structure. Both 2 and 3 are linear hexapositive trimers linked by three N1,N2–1,2,4-triazole ligands to the divalent central and terminal metal ions. Furthermore, the luminescence properties of 2 were investigated at room temperature in the solid state.  相似文献

A new flexible disulfoxide ligand 1,6-bis(benzylsulfinyl)hexane (L), which is a mixture of the meso and rac isomers, was treated with CuII or CdII nitrate and obtained dimeric complex [Cu2(L)3(H2O)2(NO3)4] 2 or [Cd2(L)3(H2O)2(NO3)4] 3. In the reacting system the crystals of meso isomer 1 of L together with 2 or 3 were obtained. 2 and 3 have similar molecular structures. In the neutral dimer, three ligands present two kinds of coordination models: monodentate and bis-monodentate. The neutral dimeric units in 2 and 3 are linked by hydrogen bonds to yield a chain structure. Crystal structures of all three compounds were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods. Crystal data for 1: monoclinic, space group Cc, a=41.95(2), b=5.132(2), c=8.660(4) Å, β=94.898(9)°, V=1857.7(15) Å3, Z=4, final refinement (I>2σ(I)): R1=0.0659, wR2=0.1415. Crystal data for 2: triclinic, space group P-1, a=9.242(4), b=9.539(4), c=21.042(9) Å, α=83.888(9), β=87.971(8), γ=74.177(9)°, V=1774.6(13) Å3, Z=2, final refinement (I>2σ(I)): R1=0.0577, wR2=0.0954. A binuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu2(μ 1,3-N3)(N3)(pmp)2(ClO4)]ClO4 (pmp = 2-((pyridin-2-yl) methoxy)-1,10-phenanthroline), was synthesized with a single azide as end-to-end bridge ligand, and pmp and perchlorate as ligands. In the crystal, Cu(II) is in a distorted square pyramidal geometry, and a single azide bridges equatorial-axial linking two Cu(II) ions with separation of 5.851 Å. There are π?π stacking interactions involving 1,10-phenanthroline rings. The variable-temperature (2–300 K) magnetic susceptibilities were analyzed using a binuclear Cu(II) magnetic formula and it indicates that there is a very weak ferromagnetic coupling with 2J = 2.82 cm?1.  相似文献

Four novel Schiff base nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes, derived from the end‐on (μ1,1‐N3) azide, end‐to‐end (μ1,3‐NCS) thiocyanate, or phenolate oxygen bridges, have been synthesized and their crystal structures determined by X‐ray diffraction methods. They are the dinuclear double end‐on azide‐bridged [Ni2(L1)2(MeCN)2(μ1,1‐N3)2]·MeOH ( 1 ), the dinuclear double end‐on azide‐bridged [Ni2(L2)2(MeOH)2(μ1,1‐N3)2][Ni2(L2)2(OH2)2(μ1,1‐N3)2]·MeOH ( 2 ), the dinuclear double end‐to‐end thiocyanate‐bridged [Cu2(L3)2(μ1,3‐NCS)2] ( 3 ), and the dinuclear double phenolate O‐bridged [Cu2(L4)2(NCS)2] ( 4 ), where HL1, HL2, HL3 and HL4 are four tridentate Schiff bases obtained by the condensation of 3,5‐dibromosalicylaldehyde with N‐ethylethane‐1,2‐diamine, of 3,5‐dichlorosalicylaldehyde with N‐methylpropane‐1,3‐diamine, of 3‐bromo‐5‐chlorosalicylaldehyde with 2‐aminomethylpyridine, and of 5‐nitrosalicylaldehyde with 2‐aminomethylpyridine, respectively. Each nickel(II) atom in 1 and 2 is in an octahedral coordination, while each copper(II) atom in 3 and 4 is in a square pyramidal coordination. There exists crystallographic inversion centre symmetry in each of the complexes.  相似文献

The reaction of the decadentate ligand tpmen (H4tpmen?=?N,N,N′N′-tetrakis[(6-carboxypyridin-2-yl)methyl]ethylenediamine) with MnCl2·4H2O in aqueous solution gives a homodinuclear complex [Mn2(H2O)2(tpmen)]·16H2O, which has been characterized by elemental analysis, thermal gravimetric and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The complex crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Cmca, a?=?28.786(5) Å, b?=?11.5033(19) Å, c?=?14.437(2) Å, Z?=?8, R 1?=?0.0432, wR 2?=?0.0786. The tpmen ligand contains four picolinate groups, two of which bind each Mn(II) to form a dinuclear complex. The geometry around the Mn(II) is distorted octahedral with two nitrogen and two oxygen atoms from the picolinate groups and two oxygen atoms from coordinated water. The variable-temperature (2–300?K) magnetic susceptibilities shows an antiferromagnetic interaction between Mn(II) ions.  相似文献

By refluxing a mixture of CuCl2 and 3-methyl-6-phenyl-[1,2,4]-triazolo[3,4-b][1,3,4]thiadiazole (TRTZ) with addition of acetic acid and KSCN, respectively, the complexes [Cu(TRTZ)2(OAc)2(H2O)]?·?1.5H2O (1) and [Cu(TRTZ)2(SCN)2(H2O)2]?·?2DMF (2) were obtained. Single-crystal structure of both complexes was determined and their thermal behaviour and IR spectra examined.  相似文献

The neutral, mononuclear complex [ReO(mta)2Cl] (1) [Hmta?=?2-(methylmercapto)aniline] was prepared by reaction of trans-[ReOCl3(PPh3)2] with a twofold molar excess of Hmta in methanol. The oxo-bridged dimer (μ-O)[ReO(mta)2]2 (2) was synthesized by reacting [ReOCl3(PPh3)2] with a twofold excess of Hmta in a 9?:?1 acetone/water mixture. The compounds were characterized by spectroscopy and complex 1 also by X-ray crystallography. Complex 1 has a distorted octahedral geometry with the chloride coordinated trans to the oxo group, and with the chelating ligands in the equatorial plane in a cis-N cis-S configuration.  相似文献

A novel triply bridged dinuclear copper(I) complex: Cu2(μ-paa)(μ-dcpm)2(BF4)2·2CH2Cl2 [ paa = pyridine-2-carbaldehyde azine (C12H10N4) and dcpm = bis(dicyclohexylphosphino)methane(C25H46P2) ] has been synthesized and structurally characterized. Crystallographic studies of the complex showed that two copper(I) ions were bridged by one paa ligand and two dcpm ligands. The paa ligand adopted the Z configuration at the partially double N-N bond and the two copper ions have distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry. Because of the steric effect of dcpm, the pyridine rings of the paa ligand are obviously not on the same plane (the dihedral angle is 43.610). The interaction between neighboring ligands results in a N-N bond length (1.374(7) Å) contraction. The UV-vis spectra of the complex exhibited intense high-energy absorptions at λmax < 340 nm and broad visible bands in a range of 380?550 nm, ascribed to intraligand (IL π-π*) transitions and metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT) transitions, respectively. Interestingly, the absorbtion peaks varied regularly with the solvent polarity. Although the complex has a rigid structure with the copper ions held firmly by triply bridged ligands, the emission and excitation spectra revealed that the complex exhibits weak fluorescence.

The oxorhenium(V) complex [ReO(Hapb)(apb)] (1) (H2apb =?2-(2-aminophenyl)-1-benzimidazole) was prepared by reaction of trans-[ReO2(py)4]Cl with a twofold molar amount of H2apb. The complex was characterized by spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. The results show that the rhenium atom lies in a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal environment, with the two imidazole nitrogen atoms in apical positions, and the oxo and two amido nitrogens in the trigonal plane.  相似文献

Two ternary copper(II) complexes [Cu(L1)(py)] (1) and [Cu(L2)(Himdz]?·?CH3OH (2) with substituted aroylhydrazones, 5-bromo-salicylaldehyde-3,5-dimethoxy-benzoylhydrazone (H2L1) and 5-bromo-salicylaldehyde-p-methyl-benzoylhydrazone (H2L2), pyridine (py) and imidazole (Himdz), have been synthesized. Their crystal structures and spectroscopic properties have been studied. In each complex, the metal is in a square-planar N2O2 coordination formed by the phenolate-O, the imine-N and the deprotonated amide-O atoms of L2?, and the sp2?N atom of the neutral heterocycle. In the solid state, 1 exists as a centrosymmetric dimer due to very weak apical coordination of the metal bound phenolate-O. Complex 2 has no such apical coordination and exists as a monomer. Self-assembly via C–H?···?O, N–H?···?O and O–H?···?N interaction leads to a one-dimensional chain arrangement; other non-covalent interactions such as C–H?···?π and π?···?π are not involved.  相似文献

The tridentate Schiff base ligand, 7-amino-4-methyl-5-aza-3-hepten-2-one (HAMAH), prepared by the mono-condensation of 1,2-diaminoethane and acetylacetone, reacts with Cu(BF4)2 · 6H2O to produce initially a dinuclear Cu(II) complex, [{Cu(AMAH)}2(μ-4,4′-bipy)](BF4)2 (1) which undergoes hydrolysis in the reaction mixture and finally produces a linear polymeric chain compound, [Cu(acac)2(μ-4,4′-bipy)]n (2). The geometry around the copper atom in compound 1 is distorted square planar while that in compound 2 is essentially an elongated octahedron. On the other hand, the ligand HAMAH reacts with Cu(ClO4)2 · 6H2O to yield a polymeric zigzag chain, [{Cu(acac)(CH3OH)(μ-4,4′-bipy)}(ClO4)]n (3). The geometry of the copper atom in 3 is square pyramidal with the two bipyridine molecules in the cis equatorial positions. All three complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR and UV–Vis spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. A probable explanation for the different size and shape of the reported polynuclear complexes formed by copper(II) and 4,4′-bipyridine has been put forward by taking into account the denticity and crystal field strength of the blocking ligand as well as the Jahn–Teller effect in copper(II).  相似文献

Four dinuclear cadmium(II) complexes, [Cd2(L1)(μ2-Cl)Cl2] (1), [Cd2(L2)(μ2-Cl)Cl2] (2), [Cd2(L3)(μ2-Cl)Cl2] (3), and [Cd2(L4)3ClO4] (4), where HL1 = 4-methyl-2,6-bis(1-(2-piperidinoethyl)iminomethyl)-phenol, HL2 = 4-methyl-2,6-bis(1-(2-pyrrolidinoethyl)iminomethyl)-phenol, HL3 = 4-methyl-2,6-bis(1-(2-morpholinoethyl)iminomethyl)-phenol and HL4 = 4-methyl-2,6-bis(cyclohexylmethyl)iminomethyl)-phenol, were synthesized. They were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV–Vis, fluorescence and electronspray ionization mass spectroscopy. Complexes 1 and 4 were also characterized by single crystal X-ray analysis. The cadmiums atoms in 1 are linked by μ2-chloride in a distorted square pyramidal geometry, whereas cadmium atom in 4 is in a distorted octahedral environment. The complexes show emission bands around 500 nm with excitation at 395 nm.  相似文献

[Cu(bpea)Cl]ClO4 (1) and a new copper(II) complex [Cu(bpma)(Ph-COO)(H2O)]ClO4 (2) [bpea?=?N,N-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)ethylamine; bpma?=?N,N-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)methylamine] have been synthesized. Complex 2 was crystallized in monoclinic space group P21/c with unit cell parameters a ?=?16.460(6)?Å, b ?=?11.222(4)?Å, c?=?12.522(5)?Å, and β?=?97.985(6)°. Interactions of the complexes with calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) have been investigated by UV absorption, fluorescence, and cyclic voltammetry; thus, modes of CT-DNA binding for the complexes have been proposed. Furthermore, DNA cleavage activities by the complexes were performed in the absence of any external agents. The influence of complex concentration or reaction time on the DNA cleavage was studied.  相似文献

Reactions of asymmetric ligand N-phenylacetyl picoloylhydrazide (HL) and copper(II) acetate/chloride give two complexes CuL2 (1) and Cu2Cl2L2 (2). The coordination geometries of Cu(II) in 1 and 2 are a severely distorted octahedron and a distorted square pyramid, respectively. The binuclear copper complex 2 contains a centrosymmetric Cu2(μ-Cl)2 core. Individual molecules of 1 and 2 further self-assemble through non-covalent intermolecular bonds in the solid state to form extended 2-D polymers. The magnetic properties, IR, EA, and solid-state photoluminescence properties of the title complexes are presented.  相似文献

A new binuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu21,1-N3)2(PP)2)] ? 2ClO4 (PP = 2,6-dipyrazol-1-yl-pyridine), was synthesized with double azide as asymmetric end-on bridge ligand and 2,6-dipyrazol-1-yl-pyridine as the terminal ligand. The crystal structure was determined by X-ray crystallography. Cu(II) is located in a distorted square pyramidal geometry, and azide bridges the equatorial-axial linking two Cu(II) atoms with a separation of 3.3595(11) Å. The fitting for the data of the variable-temperature (2–300 K) magnetic susceptibilities by using the Curie–Weiss law gives the Weiss temperature θ = ?7.830 K, indicating a very weak anti-ferromagnetic interaction between the bridging Cu(II) complexes.  相似文献

On reaction of different copper(II) salts with 3,4-bis(2-pyridylmethylthio)toluene (L) having neutral tetradentate NSSN donor set in different chemical environments, two mononuclear copper(II), one dinuclear copper(I) and one dinuclear copper(II) complexes, formulated as [CuII(L)(H2O)2](NO3)2 (1), [CuII(pic)2] (2), [CuI2(L)2](ClO4)2 (3) and [CuII2(L)2Cl2](ClO4)2 (4), respectively, were isolated in pure form [where pic = picolinate]. All the complexes were characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The product of the reactions are dependent on the counter anion of copper(II) salts used as reactant and on the reaction medium. Complexes 1 and 4 were obtained with nitrate and perchlorate copper(II) salts, respectively. On the other hand, C–S bond cleavage was observed in the reaction of L with copper(II) chloride to form in situ picolinic acid and complex 2. Dinuclear complexes 3 and 4 were separated out when copper(II) perchlorate was allowed to react with L in methanol and in acetonitrile, respectively, under aerobic condition. The X-ray diffraction analysis of the dinuclear complex 3 shows a highly distorted tetrahedral geometry about each copper ion. Complex 4 is converted to 3 in acetonitrile in presence of catechol. The spectral study of complex 4 with calf thymus DNA is indicative of a groove binding mode interaction.  相似文献

A series of anionic five-coordinate binary oxorhenium(V) complexes with dithiolato ligands, Bu4N[ReO(L1)2] (1a), Bu4N[ReO(L2)2] (1b), and Bu4N[ReO(L3)2] (1c), and a series of neutral octahedral ternary oxorhenium(V) complexes of mixed dithiolato and bipyridine ligands, [ReO(L1)(bpy)Cl] (2a), [ReO(L2)(bpy)Cl] (2b), and [ReO(L3)(bpy)Cl] (2c) (where L1H2 = ethane-1,2-dithiol, L2H2 = propane-1,3-dithiol, L3H2 = toluene-3,4-dithiol, and bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine), were isolated and characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The solid state structure of 1c was established by X-ray crystallography. All the mononuclear oxorhenium(V) complexes are diamagnetic. The redox behavior of all the complexes has been studied voltammetrically.  相似文献

A one-dimensional polynuclear copper(II) complex [Cu(μ1,6-dmpzdo)(SCN)2] n (where dmpzdo?=?2,5-dimethylpyrazine-1,4-dioxide) has been synthesized and its crystal structure determined by X-ray crystallography. The coordination geometry of Cu(II) atom is a square plane and each Cu(II) ion is connected by two μ1,6-dmpzdo bridging ligands, leading to the formation of a one-dimensional chain. ESR spectra indicate magnetic coupling between the bridged Cu(II) ions. The fitting of the variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility data (4–300?K) gave 2J?=??68.69?cm?1.  相似文献
