Let \({\varphi: \mathbb{P}^N_K\to\mathbb{P}^N_K}\) be a morphism of degree d ≥ 2 defined over a field K that is algebraically closed field and complete with respect to a nonarchimedean absolute value. We prove that a modified Green function \({\hat{g}_\varphi}\) associated to \({\varphi}\) is Hölder continuous on \({\mathbb{P}^N(K)}\) and that the Fatou set \({\mathcal{F}(\varphi)}\) of \({\varphi}\) is equal to the set of points at which \({\hat{g}_\Phi}\) is locally constant. Further, \({\hat{g}_\varphi}\) vanishes precisely on the set of points P such that \({\varphi}\) has good reduction at every point in the forward orbit \({\mathcal{O}_\varphi(P)}\) of P. We also prove that the iterates of \({\varphi}\) are locally uniformly Lipschitz on \({\mathcal{F}(\varphi)}\) .  相似文献

Let \(\mathrm{SM}_{2n}(S^1,\mathbb {R})\) be a set of stable Morse functions of an oriented circle such that the number of singular points is \(2n\in \mathbb {N}\) and the order of singular values satisfies the particular condition. For an orthogonal projection \(\pi :\mathbb {R}^2\rightarrow \mathbb {R}\), let \({\tilde{f}}_0\) and \({\tilde{f}}_1:S^1\rightarrow \mathbb {R}^2\) be embedding lifts of f. If there is an ambient isotopy \(\tilde{\varphi }_t:\mathbb {R}^2\rightarrow \mathbb {R}^2\) \((t\in [0,1])\) such that \({\pi \circ \tilde{\varphi }}_t(y_1,y_2)=y_1\) and \(\tilde{\varphi }_1\circ {\tilde{f}}_0={\tilde{f}}_1\), we say that \({\tilde{f}}_0\) and \({\tilde{f}}_1\) are height isotopic. We define a function \(I:\mathrm{SM}_{2n}(S^1,\mathbb {R})\rightarrow \mathbb {N}\) as follows: I(f) is the number of height isotopy classes of embeddings such that each rotation number is one. In this paper, we determine the maximal value of the function I equals the n-th Baxter number and the minimal value equals \(2^{n-1}\).  相似文献

Let X be a non-void set and A be a subalgebra of \({\mathbb{C}^{X}}\) . We call a \({\mathbb{C}}\) -linear functional \({\varphi}\) on A a 1-evaluation if \({\varphi(f) \in f(X) }\) for all \({f\in A}\) . From the classical Gleason–Kahane–?elazko theorem, it follows that if X in addition is a compact Hausdorff space then a mapping \({\varphi}\) of \({C_{\mathbb{C}}(X) }\) into \({\mathbb{C}}\) is a 1-evaluation if and only if \({\varphi}\) is a \({\mathbb{C}}\) -homomorphism. In this paper, we aim to investigate the extent to which this equivalence between 1-evaluations and \({\mathbb{C}}\) -homomorphisms can be generalized to a wider class of self-conjugate subalgebras of \({\mathbb{C}^{X}}\) . In this regards, we prove that a \({\mathbb{C}}\) -linear functional on a self-conjugate subalgebra A of \({\mathbb{C}^{X}}\) is a positive \({\mathbb{C}}\) -homomorphism if and only if \({\varphi}\) is a \({\overline{1}}\) -evaluation, that is, \({\varphi(f) \in\overline{f\left(X\right)}}\) for all \({f\in A}\) . As consequences of our general study, we prove that 1-evaluations and \({\mathbb{C}}\) -homomorphisms on \({C_{\mathbb{C}}\left( X\right)}\) coincide for any topological space X and we get a new characterization of realcompact topological spaces.  相似文献

We deal with functions which fulfil the condition \({\Delta_h^{n+1} \varphi(x)\in\mathbb{Z}}\) for all x, h taken from some linear space V. We derive necessary and sufficient conditions for such a function to be decent in the following sense: there exist functions \({f\colon V\rightarrow \mathbb{R},\ g\colon V \rightarrow \mathbb{Z}}\) such that \({\varphi = f + g}\) and \({\Delta_h^{n+1}f(x)=0}\) for all \({x, h\in V}\).  相似文献

If φ is an analytic function bounded by 1 on the bidisk \({{\mathbb D}^2}\) and \({\tau\in\partial({\mathbb D}^2)}\) is a point at which φ has an angular gradient \({\nabla\varphi(\tau)}\) then \({\nabla\varphi(\lambda) \to \nabla\varphi(\tau)}\) as λ → τ nontangentially in \({{\mathbb D}^2}\). This is an analog for the bidisk of a classical theorem of Carathéodory for the disk. For φ as above, if \({\tau\in\partial({\mathbb D}^2)}\) is such that the lim inf of \({(1-|\varphi(\lambda)|)/(1-\|\lambda\|)}\) as λ → τ is finite then the directional derivative D ?δ φ(τ) exists for all appropriate directions \({\delta\in{\mathbb C}^2}\). Moreover, one can associate with φ and τ an analytic function h in the Pick class such that the value of the directional derivative can be expressed in terms of h.  相似文献

Given an i.i.d sample (Y i , Z i ), taking values in \({\mathbb{R}^{d'}\times\mathbb{R}^d}\), we consider a collection Nadarya–Watson kernel estimators of the conditional expectations \({\mathbb{E}( <\,c_g(z),g(Y)>+d_g(z)\mid Z=z)}\), where z belongs to a compact set \({H\subset \mathbb{R}^d}\), g a Borel function on \({\mathbb{R}^{d'}}\) and c g (·), d g (·) are continuous functions on \({\mathbb{R}^d}\). Given two bandwidth sequences \({h_n<\mathfrak{h}_n}\) fulfilling mild conditions, we obtain an exact and explicit almost sure limit bounds for the deviations of these estimators around their expectations, uniformly in \({g\in\mathcal{G},\;z\in H}\) and \({h_n\le h\le \mathfrak{h}_n}\) under mild conditions on the density f Z , the class \({\mathcal{G}}\), the kernel K and the functions c g (·), d g (·). We apply this result to prove that smoothed empirical likelihood can be used to build confidence intervals for conditional probabilities \({\mathbb{P}( Y\in C\mid Z=z)}\), that hold uniformly in \({z\in H,\; C\in \mathcal{C},\; h\in [h_n,\mathfrak{h}_n]}\). Here \({\mathcal{C}}\) is a Vapnik–Chervonenkis class of sets.  相似文献

Let (M, g 0) be a compact Riemann surface with boundary and with negative Euler characteristic. Let f(x) be a strictly negative smooth function on \({\bar{M}}\) and denote by \({\sigma(x)}\) the value of f in the interior and \({\zeta(x)}\) the value of f on the boundary. By studying the evolution of curvatures on M, we prove that there exist a constant \({\lambda_\infty}\) and a conformal metric \({g_\infty}\) such that \({\lambda_\infty\sigma(x)}\) and \({\lambda_\infty\zeta(x)}\) can be realized as the Gaussian curvature and boundary geodesic curvature of \({g_\infty}\) respectively.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group, A a finite abelian group. Each homomorphism \({\varphi:G\rightarrow A\wr S_n}\) induces a homomorphism \({\overline{\varphi}:G\rightarrow A}\) in a natural way. We show that as \({\varphi}\) is chosen randomly, then the distribution of \({\overline{\varphi}}\) is close to uniform. As application we prove a conjecture of T. Müller on the number of homomorphisms from a finite group into Weyl groups of type D n .  相似文献

Let \({\mathcal{B}^\omega(p, q, B_d)}\) denote the \({\omega}\)-weighted Hardy–Bloch space on the unit ball B d of \({\mathbb{C}^d}\), \({d\ge 1}\). For \({2< p,q < \infty}\) and \({f\in \mathcal{B}^\omega(p, q, B_d)}\), we obtain sharp estimates on the growth of the p-integral means M p (f, r) as \({r\to 1-}\).  相似文献

Let \(\varphi \) be an analytic self map of the open unit disc \(\mathbb {D}\). Assume that \(\psi \) is an analytic map of \(\mathbb {D}\). Suppose that f is in the Hardy–Hilbert space of the open unit disc \(H^2\). The operator that takes f into \(\psi \cdot f \circ \varphi \) is a weighted composition operator, and is denoted by \(C_{\psi ,\varphi }\). In this paper we relate the convergence of the sequence \(\{ C_{\psi _n,\varphi _n}\}\) in different operator topologies to the convergence of the two sequences of maps \(\{\varphi _n \}\) and \(\{ \psi _n\}\).  相似文献

Let \(\pi _{\varphi }\) (or \(\pi _{\psi }\)) be an automorphic cuspidal representation of \(\text {GL}_{2} (\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\) associated to a primitive Maass cusp form \(\varphi \) (or \(\psi \)), and \(\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }\) be the jth symmetric power lift of \(\pi _{\varphi }\). Let \(a_{\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }}(n)\) denote the nth Dirichlet series coefficient of the principal L-function associated to \(\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }\). In this paper, we study first moments of Dirichlet series coefficients of automorphic representations \(\mathrm{sym}^3 \pi _{\varphi }\) of \(\text {GL}_{4}(\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\), and \(\pi _{\psi }\otimes \mathrm{sym}^2 \pi _{\varphi }\) of \(\text {GL}_{6}(\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\). For \(3 \le j \le 8\), estimates for \(|a_{\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }}(n)|\) on average over a short interval have also been established.  相似文献

We discuss the proof of Kazhdan and Lusztig of the equivalence of the Drinfeld category \({\mathcal D}({\mathfrak g},\hbar)\) of \({\mathfrak g}\)-modules and the category of finite dimensional \(U_q{\mathfrak g}\)-modules, \(q=e^{\pi i\hbar}\), for \(\hbar\in{\mathbb C}\setminus{\mathbb Q}^*\). Aiming at operator algebraists the result is formulated as the existence for each \(\hbar\in i{\mathbb R}\) of a normalized unitary 2-cochain \({\mathcal F}\) on the dual \(\hat G\) of a compact simple Lie group G such that the convolution algebra of G with the coproduct twisted by \({\mathcal F}\) is *-isomorphic to the convolution algebra of the q-deformation G q of G, while the coboundary of \({\mathcal F}^{-1}\) coincides with Drinfeld’s KZ-associator defined via monodromy of the Knizhnik–Zamolodchikov equations.  相似文献

Let \({\mathcal L}\equiv-\Delta+V\) be the Schrödinger operator in \({{\mathbb R}^n}\), where V is a nonnegative function satisfying the reverse Hölder inequality. Let ρ be an admissible function modeled on the known auxiliary function determined by V. In this paper, the authors characterize the localized Hardy spaces \(H^1_\rho({{\mathbb R}^n})\) in terms of localized Riesz transforms and establish the boundedness on the BMO-type space \({\mathop\mathrm{BMO_\rho({\mathbb R}^n)}}\) of these operators as well as the boundedness from \({\mathop\mathrm{BMO_\rho({\mathbb R}^n)}}\) to \({\mathop\mathrm{BLO_\rho({\mathbb R}^n)}}\) of their corresponding maximal operators, and as a consequence, the authors obtain the Fefferman–Stein decomposition of \({\mathop\mathrm{BMO_\rho({\mathbb R}^n)}}\) via localized Riesz transforms. When ρ is the known auxiliary function determined by V, \({\mathop\mathrm{BMO_\rho({\mathbb R}^n)}}\) is just the known space \(\mathop\mathrm{BMO}_{\mathcal L}({{\mathbb R}^n})\), and \({\mathop\mathrm{BLO_\rho({\mathbb R}^n)}}\) in this case is correspondingly denoted by \(\mathop\mathrm{BLO}_{\mathcal L}({{\mathbb R}^n})\). As applications, when n?≥?3, the authors further obtain the boundedness on \(\mathop\mathrm{BMO}_{\mathcal L}({{\mathbb R}^n})\) of Riesz transforms \(\nabla{\mathcal L}^{-1/2}\) and their adjoint operators, as well as the boundedness from \(\mathop\mathrm{BMO}_{\mathcal L}({{\mathbb R}^n})\) to \(\mathop\mathrm{BLO}_{\mathcal L}({{\mathbb R}^n})\) of their maximal operators. Also, some endpoint estimates of fractional integrals associated to \({\mathcal L}\) are presented.  相似文献

Given a smooth, symmetric and homogeneous of degree one function \(f\left( \lambda _{1},\ldots ,\lambda _{n}\right) \) satisfying \(\partial _{i}f>0\quad \forall \,i=1,\ldots , n\), and a properly embedded smooth cone \({\mathcal {C}}\) in \({\mathbb {R}}^{n+1}\), we show that under suitable conditions on f, there is at most one f self-shrinker (i.e. a hypersurface \(\Sigma \) in \({\mathbb {R}}^{n+1}\) satisfying \(f\left( \kappa _{1},\ldots ,\kappa _{n}\right) +\frac{1}{2}X\cdot N=0\), where \(\kappa _{1},\ldots ,\kappa _{n}\) are principal curvatures of \(\Sigma \)) that is asymptotic to the given cone \({\mathcal {C}}\) at infinity.  相似文献

It is conjectured that if \({K\subset\mathbb R^n}\) is a convex body, then there exists a point in the interior of K which is the point of concurrency of normals from 2n points on the boundary of K. We present a topological proof of this conjecture in dimension four assuming \({\partial K}\) is C 1,1. From the assumption that the conjecture fails for \({K\subset\mathbb R^4}\), we construct a retraction from \({\overline K}\) to \({\partial K}\). We apply the same strategy to the problem for lower n, assuming no regularity on \({\partial K}\), and show that it provides very simple proofs for the cases of two and three dimensions (the dimension three case was first proved by Erhard Heil). A connection between our approach to this problem and the homotopy type of some function spaces is also explored, and some conjectures along those lines are proposed.  相似文献

Let \({\Omega}\) be a Lipschitz bounded domain of \({\mathbb{R}^N}\), \({N\geq2}\), and let \({u_p\in W_0^{1,p}(\Omega)}\) denote the p-torsion function of \({\Omega}\), p > 1. It is observed that the value 1 for the Cheeger constant \({h(\Omega)}\) is threshold with respect to the asymptotic behavior of up, as \({p\rightarrow 1^+}\), in the following sense: when \({h(\Omega) > 1}\), one has \({\lim_{p\rightarrow 1^+}\left\|u_{p}\right\| _{L^\infty(\Omega)}=0}\), and when \({h(\Omega) < 1}\), one has \({\lim_{p\rightarrow 1^+}\left\|u_p\right\| _{L^\infty(\Omega)}=\infty}\). In the case \({h(\Omega)=1}\), it is proved that \({\limsup_{p\rightarrow1^+}\left\|u_p\right\|_{L^\infty(\Omega)}<\infty}\). For a radial annulus \({\Omega_{a,b}}\), with inner radius a and outer radius b, it is proved that \({\lim_{p\rightarrow 1^+}\left\|u_p\right\| _{L^\infty(\Omega_{a,b})}=0}\) when \({h(\Omega_{a,b})=1}\).  相似文献

We study local analytic solutions of the functional-differential equation of the form \({h(\psi(z)) = b(z) h(z) h^\prime(z) + d(z)h(z)^{2}}\) which are called Beardon type functional-differential equations. All functions involved are supposed to be holomorphic in a neighbourhood of zero. Special cases are the equations f(kz) =  kf(z) f′(z) where k is a complex number, \({k \neq 0}\), and \({f(\varphi(z)) = a(z) f(z) f'(z)}\) with given \({\varphi}\) and a. The class of these equations is invariant under transformations \({h \to \alpha h, \alpha(z) \neq 0}\) for all z in a neighbourhood of zero, of the unknown function and \({z \to T(z)}\) of the argument z. In particular, we are interested to know under which conditions a Beardon type functional-differential equation can be transformed to the simplified (normal form) \({h(kz) = k h(z) h'(z) + c(z) h(z)^2}\) where \({k \in \mathbb {C} \backslash\left\{0\right\}}\). We solve this normal form by another transfomation to a so-called Briot–Bouquet type functional-differential equation.  相似文献

We use the variational concept of \({\Gamma}\)-convergence to prove existence, stability and exhibit the geometric structure of four families of stationary solutions to the singularly perturbed parabolic equation \({u_t=\epsilon^2 {\rm div}(k\nabla u)+f(u,x)}\), for \({(t,x)\in \mathbb{R}^+\times\Omega}\), where \({\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^n}\), \({n\geq 1}\), supplied with no-flux boundary condition. The novelty here lies in the fact that the roots of the bistable function f are not isolated, meaning that the graphs of its roots are allowed to have contact or intersect each other along a Lipschitz-continuous (n ? 1)-dimensional hypersurface \({\gamma \subset \Omega}\); across this hypersurface, the stable equilibria may have corners. The case of intersecting roots stems from the phenomenon known as exchange of stability which is characterized by \({f(\cdot,x)}\) having only two roots.  相似文献
