A significant exchange bias(EB) training effect has been observed in sputter deposited FeAu/FeNi bilayers, wherein the exchange field(HE) exhibits a special sign-changeable temperature dependence. Very interestingly, despite the absence of multiple easy axes in the FeAu spin glass(SG) layer, HEdrops abruptly between the first and second magnetic cycles,which is followed by a more gradual continuous change in the subsequent cycles. This training behavior cannot be described by the empirical n-1/2law because of the asymmetric magnetization reversal processes. We propose modifying Binek’s model to include the asymmetric changes of the pinning SG spins at the descending and ascending branches. This new model successfully describes the EB training effect in FeAu/FeNi bilayers.  相似文献

本文利用高温油相法制备出尺寸、形状均一的 MnO纳米颗粒, X射线衍射图 (XRD) 和透射电子显微镜 (TEM) 照片清晰表明MnO纳米颗粒为单一的面心立方岩盐晶体结构, 尺寸为15nm, 粒径分布很窄. 通过零场冷却 (ZFC) 和带场冷却 (FC)的磁滞回线发现MnO纳米颗粒具有明显的交换偏置效应, 而且磁滞回线同时表现出横向和纵向偏移. 横向偏移说明纳米颗粒中两相复合的存在, 纵向偏移说明了存在自旋玻璃相或者超顺磁相. 进而通过不同频率下随温度变化的交流磁化率的测定, 根据Mydosh的经验数值确认 MnO纳米颗粒表面层为自旋玻璃相, 并得到 MnO纳米颗粒表面自旋玻璃相的转变温度为TSG=32K. 关键词: 纳米颗粒 氧化锰 交换偏置 自旋玻璃  相似文献

实验发现将Bi插入自旋阀多层膜TaNiFeCuBi(x)NiFeFeMn中可以显著地提高自旋阀的钉扎场Hex.采用XPS对Cu,Bi元素的分布情况进行了研究,发现Bi的插入明显抑制了Cu原子在自旋阀的制备过程中在NiFeFeMn界面的偏聚.进一步研究表明:自旋阀钉扎层NiFeFeMn界面中,Cu原子的存在是导致自旋阀Hex小于TaNiFeFeMn多层膜Hex的主要原因. 关键词: 自旋阀 钉扎场 交换各向异性 表面活化剂  相似文献

合成了一系列Ni50-xCoxMn39Sn11 (8≤x≤10) 样品, 并对它们的结构和磁性进行了研究. 发现随Co含量的增加, 样品的饱和磁化强度逐渐增强, 并在Ni42Co8Mn39Sn11中实现了磁场诱发马氏体相变. 另外, 在Co大于8.0的成分中探测到了超自旋玻璃, 并且观察到交换偏置现象. 证实了超自旋玻璃的马氏体相和铁磁奥氏体母相共存, 这也是产生交换偏置的原因.我们猜测超自旋玻璃的形成可能是来源于Mn-Mn团簇的存在, 这和之前报道的Mn2Ni1.6Sn0.4 的结果相一致[1]. 关键词: NiCoMnSn Heusler合金 超自旋玻璃 交换偏置  相似文献

The realization of perpendicular magnetization and perpendicular exchange bias(PEB)in magnetic multilayers is important for the spintronic applications.NiO(t)/[Ni(4 nm)/Pt(1 nm)]2multilayers with varying the NiO layer thickness t have been epitaxially deposited on SrTiO;(001)substrates.Perpendicular magnetization can be achieved when t<25 nm.Perpendicular magnetization originates from strong perpendicular magnetic anisotropy(PMA),mainly resulting from interfacial strain induced by the lattice mismatch between the Ni and Pt layers.The PMA energy constant decreases monotonically with increasing t,due to the weakening of Ni(001)orientation and a little degradation of the Ni–Pt interface.Furthermore,significant PEB can be observed though NiO layer has spin compensated(001)crystalline plane.The PEB field increases monotonically with increasing t,which is considered to result from the thickness dependent anisotropy of the NiO layer.  相似文献

The structure dependence of exchange bias in ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic (FM/AF) bilayers has been investigated in detail by extending Slonczewski's 'proximity magnetism' idea. Here three important parameters are discussed for FM/AF bilayers, i.e. interracial bilinear exchange coupling J1, interracial biquadratic (spin-flop) exchange coupling J2 and antiferromagnetic layer thickness tAF. The results show that both the occurrence and the variety of the exchange bias strongly depend on the above parameters. More importantly, the small spin-flop exchange coupling may result in an exchange bias without the interracial bilinear exchange coupling. However, in general, the spin-flop exchange coupling cannot result in the exchange bias. The corresponding critical parameters in which the exchange bias will occur or approach saturation are also presented.  相似文献

The exchange bias of bilayer magnetic films consisting of ferromagnetic (FM) and antiferromagnetic (AFM) layers in an uncompensated case is studied by use of the many-body Green's function method of quantum statistical theory. The effects of the layer thickness and temperature and the interfacial coupling strength on the exchange bias HE are investigated. The dependence of the exchange bias HE on the FM layer thickness and temperature is qualitatively in agreement with experimental results. When temperature varies, both the coercivity HC and HE decrease with the temperature increasing. For each FM thickness, there exists a least AFM thickness in which the exchange bias occurs, which is called pinning thickness.  相似文献

Co-doped NiO inhomogeneous films were synthesized by sputtering metallic Co chips and NiO together and the exchange bias of bilayers Co-doped NiO/FeNi was investigated. When Co content was up to 25.2%, the exchange bias field HE at the room temperature increased to the maximum which was about three times compared to the undoped-bilayers. With further increase of Co content, the exchange bias field HE and blocking temperature TB decreased. Analysis suggests that the configuration of nanometer-sized Co-metal clusters enchased into NiO matrix played an important role in the change of magnetic behavior for the bilayers.  相似文献

A multilayered spin valve film with a structure of Ta(5 nm)/Co_(75)Fe_(25)(5 nm)/Cu(2.5 nm)/Co_(75)Fe_(25)(5 nm)/Ir_(20)Mn_(80)(12 nm)/Ta(8 nm) is prepared by the high-vacuum direct current(DC) magnetron sputtering. The effect of temperature on the spin valve structure and the magnetic properties are studied by x-ray diffraction(XRD), atomic force microscopy(AFM), and vibrating sample magnetometry. The effect of temperature on the exchange bias field thermomagnetic properties of multilayered spin valve is studied by the residence time of samples in a reverse saturation field. The results show that as the temperature increases, the Ir Mn(111) texture weakens, surface/interface roughness increases, and the exchange bias field decreases. Below 200℃, the exchange bias field decreases with the residence time increasing, and at the beginning of the negative saturation field, the exchange bias field Hex decreases first quickly and then slowly gradually. When the temperature is greater than 200℃, the exchange bias field is unchanged with the residence time increasing.  相似文献

采用磁控溅射的方法制备了一组以(Ni0.81Fe0.19)1-xCrx作为缓冲层的NiFe/PtMn双层膜样品,研究了NiFe/PtMn双层膜的形成过程和热稳定性.实验表明,Cr成分的不同会引起NiFe/PtMn双层膜中PtMn层晶粒尺寸的不同,使NiFe/PtMn双层膜的交换偏置场与PtMn层厚度之间呈现不同的变化关系.热稳定性实验表明,PtMn晶粒尺寸较大的样品,出现交换偏置现象所需要的临界厚度较小,热稳定性好,这与Mauri的理论模型一致. 关键词: NiFe/PtMn双层膜 交换偏置场 热稳定性  相似文献

A series of polycrystalline Ag-doped Ni1−xAgxO/Ni bilayers with x up to 0.2 were prepared by magnetron sputtering. X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy and transmission electron microscopy analyses reveal that Ag doping significantly reduces the mean NiO grain size and leads to the appearance of Ag nanoparticles on the surface of the Ag-doped NiO films. As x increases, the exchange bias field and coercivity at room temperature decrease as a consequence of the reduced thermal stability of smaller NiO grains and the screening effect resulting from the interfacial Ag nanoparticles. At lower temperatures, a slight enhancement of the exchange bias field is observed in the Ag-doped sample, indicating that the Ag doping increases the uncompensated NiO spin density. In addition, our studies find that the training effect of the Ag-doped sample can be well described by a spin configurational relaxation model, regardless of the presence of Ag nanopartiles at the interface.  相似文献

Nanoparticles of ɛ-Fe2.8Cr0.2N system exhibit the exchange bias phenomenon due to the exchange coupling of the spins of the antiferromagnetic (AF) oxide/oxynitride surface layer and the ferromagnetic (FM) nitride core. Exchange bias is observed at 10 K both in the absence and presence of cooling field. Due to the interface disorder, a mixture of parallel and anti-parallel/perpendicular coupling of the AF and FM spins is observed. The roughness of AF-FM interface induces disorder due to the random exchange anisotropy. The saturation magnetization is also found to be drastically lowered as compared to parent ɛ-Fe3N. Below 58 K, the broad peak (T E T f ) in zero-field cooled (ZFC) magnetization curves indicates the presence of unidirectional anisotropy and spinglass-like ordering, that arises from the freezing of localized frustrated spins.   相似文献

We have investigated the exchange bias and training effect in the ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic (FM/AF) heterostructures using a unified Monte Carlo dynamical approach. The magnetization of the uncompensated AF layer is still open after the first field cycling is finished. Our simulated results show obvious shift of hysteresis loops (exchange bias) and cycling dependence of exchange bias (training effect) when the temperature is below 45~K. The exchange bias field decreases with decreasing cooling rate or increasing temperature and the number of the field cycling. Essentially, these two effects can be explained on the basis of the microscopical coexistence of both reversible and irreversible moment reversals of the AF domains. Our simulations are useful to understand the real magnetization dynamics of such magnetic heterostructures.  相似文献

Glassy magnetic behavior and exchange bias phenomena are observed in single phase Mn_3O_4 nanoparticles.Dynamics scaling analysis of the ac susceptibility and the Henkel plot indicate that the observed glassy behavior at low temperature can be understood by taking into account the intrinsic behavior of the individual particles consisting of a ferrimagnetic(FIM) core and a spin-glass surface layer.Field-cooled magnetization hysteresis loops display both horizontal and vertical shifts.Dependence of the exchange bias field(H_E) on the cooling field shows an almost undamped feature up to 70 kOe,indicating the stable exchange bias state in Mn_3O_4.H_E increases as the particle size decreases due to the higher surface/volume ratio.The occurrence of the exchange bias can be attributed to the pinning effect of the frozen spin-glass surface layer upon the FIM core.  相似文献

采用自由能极小的方法研究了铁磁/反铁磁双层膜系统在外应力场下的交换各向异性.本模型中铁磁层具有单轴磁晶各向异性和立方磁晶各向异性,而反铁磁层仅具有单轴磁晶各向异性,但其厚度趋于半无穷.理论上解析地给出了系统的等效交换偏置和钉扎角(它显示了反铁磁层对铁磁层磁化的钉扎作用)与外应力场之间的关系.数值计算表明:系统的等效交换偏置与外磁场的方向有关,而与其大小无关;然而外应力场的大小和方向均对系统的等效交换偏置有影响,其根源在于外应力场的大小和方向都影响着钉扎角. 关键词: 铁磁/反铁磁双层膜 交换偏置 钉扎角 应力场  相似文献

Changing remanent states above blocking temperature (TB) in Ni50Mn36Sb14 alloy has been proven to be an effective way of tuning the value and sign of exchange bias (EB) field. The hysteresis loops at 5 K exhibit double shifted shape, indicating that there are two opposite EB signs resulting from an imprint of domain pattern of ferromagnetic (FM) regions into anti‐ferromagetic (AFM) ones during cooling. All the results demonstrate that the interfacial spin configuration plays a crucial role on the origin of EB, while the high cooling field not only induces a single FM domain state above TB but also tunes the fractions of FM and AFM interactions through martensitic transition. The exchange bias effect at the interface between antiferromagnetic (AFM) and ferromagnetic (FM) layers is of paramount importance in state‐of‐the‐art spintronic devices. However, a complete account of the physics behind exchange bias remains elusive and new effects are constantly unraveled. In particular, a bimodal distribution of blocking temperatures $ (T_{\rm B})$ was recently discovered, associated with the bulk of the AFM layer and interfacial AFM/FM regions with spin‐glass‐like properties. Here we study exchange bias in MnIr (25, 60 Å)/CoFe (50 Å) bilayers annealed at high temperatures (623 K and 673 K). We observe, for all samples and annealing temperatures, the existence of a large exchange bias variation at low temperatures associated with interfacial disorder. Such variation is more significative in the thinnest samples, where it is found to be independent on annealing temperature. On the other hand, in the thickest samples the contribution of the low temperature distribution largely increases with annealing temperature, due to enhanced disorder arising from Mn diffusion. 用铁磁畴壁模型研究了非补偿界面铁磁/反铁磁双层膜中冷却场(包括大小及其方向)对交换偏置场hE的影响.结果表明:当冷却场的方向与反铁磁层磁易轴一致时,hE大小与冷却场大小无关.当冷却场的方向偏离磁易轴时,hE的大小随偏离角度的增大有缓慢的改变,但当冷却场的方向偏离到临界角度γc处,hE的大小发生突变,其γc的大小随冷却场的增大而增大.特别是当冷却场的偏离角度大于γc后,hE出现由负转正的现象,其转变点还与冷却场的大小有关.另外,hE与铁磁层原子层数NF的关系会发生由hEN-1FhEN-λF的转变,其中λ>1.其发生转变的条件与NF、冷却场大小和方向密切相关. 关键词: 铁磁/反铁磁双层膜 交换偏置 冷却场  相似文献

研究了交换偏置双层膜中界面存在二次以及双二次交换耦合下反铁磁磁矩转动及其交换各向异性.结果表明,其反铁磁膜中的磁矩转动存在可逆“恢复行为”、不可逆“半转动行为”、不可逆“倒转行为”以及不可逆“半倒转行为”四种情形,四种情形的出现强烈地依赖于界面二次、双二次耦合以及反铁磁膜厚度.其中可逆恢复行为情况下,系统出现交换偏置,而不可逆的半转、半倒转以及倒转情形,系统不出现交换偏置.特别地,在界面处仅存在双二次耦合的情形下,其界面双二次耦合常数J2≤0.1 σ关键词: 反铁磁自旋结构 交换各向异性 界面双二次耦合 交换偏置  相似文献
