The influence of long-range links on spiral waves in an excitable medium has been investigated.Spatiotemporal dynamics in an excitable small-world network transform remarkably when we increase the long-range connection probability P.Spiral waves with few perturbations,broken spiral waves,pseudo spiral turbulence,synchronous oscillations,and homogeneous rest state are discovered under different network structures.Tip number is selected to detect non-equilibrium phase transition between different spatiotemporal patterns.The Kuramoto order parameter is used to identify these patterns and explain the emergence of the rest state.Finally,we use long-range links to successfully control spiral waves and spiral turbulence.  相似文献

采用Bär模型研究了具有循环反馈耦合的三层可激发介质中的螺旋波动力学行为,数值模拟结果显示: 在耦合强度较小时, 在各子系统中可观察到螺旋波漂移或漫游; 当耦合强度稍大时, 相互作用既可以使螺旋波漫游或漂移出系统边界而使子系统回到静息态,还可以使子系统的螺旋波态转变为靶波或湍流态, 并观察到子系统的渐近态依赖初值现象; 继续增大耦合强度, 三个子系统的螺旋波可达到近似广义同步; 当耦合强度更大时, 螺旋波演化为湍流态.  相似文献

本文首先研究了时空调制对可激发介质中周期螺旋波波头动力学行为的影响. 随着时空调制的增大, 螺旋波经历了周期螺旋波、外滚螺旋波、旅行螺旋波和内滚螺旋波的显著变化. 通过定义序参量来定量的描述由时空调制引起的螺旋波在不同态之间非平衡跃迁的临界条件, 及漫游螺旋波波头圆滚圆半径随调制参数的变化情况. 当时空调制增大到某个临界值时, 螺旋波发生了破碎; 再增加时空调制, 螺旋波则发生了衰减, 系统最终演化为空间均匀静息态. 在文中给出了螺旋波发生破碎和衰减的机理和原因. 最后将时空调制方法运用于漫游螺旋波, 实现了将漫游螺旋波控制成周期螺旋波, 或将其控制为空间均匀静息态.  相似文献

采用Br-Eiswirth模型研究了两层耦合可激发介质中螺旋波的动力学,两层介质通过网络连接,即在每一层介质上,每一列选一个可激发单元作为中心点,在一层介质上同一列的可激发单元只与另一层介质上对应的中心点及其8个邻居有耦合.数值模拟结果表明:通过这种局部耦合,在适当小的耦合强度下两耦合螺旋波可实现同步,增大耦合强度会导致螺旋波漫游和漂移,造成螺旋波不同步,观察到螺旋波与静息态、低频平面波和不规则斑图共存现象.在适当强的耦合强度下,还观察到两螺旋波转变成同步的平面波消失现象.对产生这些现象的物理机理做了讨论.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate spatiotemporal pattern formation in excitable media with only a long-range link. Besides the trivial solutions of spiral patterns, we find the asymptotic self-sustained target waves in the autonomous tissues. The wave source supporting this kind of new pattern is the oscillatory one-dimensional Winfree-loop self-organized under the presence of a long-range link, which is explored by the dominant phase-advanced driving method. Based on this understanding we can effectively regulate the oscillations of excitable media by suitably arranging the long-range link, including construction of self-sustained target waves with controllable period and wave length, or manipulation of system states between different patterns.  相似文献

本文采用Bär-Eiswirth模型研究了两层可激发介质中螺旋波的动力学, 两层介质采用抑制和兴奋性非对称耦合. 数值模拟结果表明: 兴奋性非对称耦合可以促进两个不同频率的螺旋波锁频, 即使初始频率相差大, 两螺旋波也能实现锁频, 这种耦合使两个螺旋波具有最强的锁频能力; 当两层介质采用抑制性非对称耦合时, 只有当两个初始螺旋波的频率差比较小才能实现锁频, 而且比一般扩散耦合的锁频范围窄, 两螺旋波锁频能力达到最低水平; 当耦合强度和控制参数适当选取时, 抑制性和兴奋性非对称耦合既可以使其中一层介质维持螺旋波态, 使另一层介质中的螺旋波演化到静息态或低频靶波态, 也可以使两层介质中的螺旋波都漫游, 或都转变成靶波, 最后这两个靶波要么消失, 要么转变成平面波状的振荡斑图, 而且两层介质振荡是反相的, 此外在模拟中还观察到两螺旋波局部间歇锁频现象, 这些结果有助于人们理解在心脏系统中出现的复杂现象.  相似文献

The synchronization and asynchronization of two coupled excitable systems are investigated. The two systems with different initial configurations, which are separately a single spiral wave (or a travel wave) and the rest state, can be developed to the synchronizing state with the same spiral wave (or travel wave) in each system, when the coupling is very strong. Decreasing the coupling intensity, two rest states or two different configurations appear in the two systems. The qualitative analysis and interpretation are given.  相似文献

Spiral wave could be observed in the excitable media, the neurons are often excitable within appropriate parameters. The appearance and formation of spiral wave in the cardiac tissue is linked to monomorphic ventricular tachycardia that can denervate into polymorphic tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation. The neuronal system often consists of a large number of neurons with complex connections. In this paper, we theoretically study the transition from spiral wave to spiral turbulence and homogeneous state (death of spiral wave) in two-dimensional array of the Hindmarsh-Rose neuron with completely nearest-neighbor connections. In our numerical studies, a stable rotating spiral wave is developed and selected as the initial state, then the bifurcation parameters are changed to different values to observe the transition from spiral wave to homogeneous state, breakup of spiral wave and weak change of spiral wave, respectively. A statistical factor of synchronization is defined with the mean field theory to analyze the transition from spiral wave to other spatial states, and the snapshots of the membrane potentials of all neurons and time series of mean membrane potentials of all neurons are also plotted to discuss the change of spiral wave. It is found that the sharp changing points in the curve for factor of synchronization vs. bifurcation parameter indicate sudden transition from spiral wave to other states. And the results are independent of the number of neurons we used.  相似文献

大脑皮层在一定条件下可以自发出现螺旋波和平面波,为了了解这些有序波的产生机制,构造了一个双层的二维神经元网络.该网络由最近邻兴奋性耦合和长程抑制性耦合层组成,采用修改后的Hindmarsh-Rose神经元模型研究了该混沌神经元网络从具有随机相位分布的初态演化是否能自发出现各种有序波.数值模拟结果表明:当抑制性耦合强度比较小时,系统一般不会自发出现有序波;在兴奋性耦合强度足够大的情况下,抑制性耦合强度越大,系统越容易产生有序波.系统出现不同的有序波与系统初态和耦合强度有密切关系,适当选择兴奋性和抑制性耦合的耦合强度,系统会自发出现迷宫斑图、平面波、单螺旋波、多螺旋波、旋转方向相反的螺旋波对、双臂螺旋波、靶波、向内方形波等有序波斑图.螺旋波、迷宫斑图和内向方形波出现概率分别达到27.5%, 21.5%和10.0%,这里的迷宫斑图是由不同传播方向的许多平面波组成,其他有序波出现概率比较小.研究结果有助于理解发生在大脑皮层中的自组织现象.  相似文献

Here we propose mechanisms for suppressing non-steady-state motions--propagating pulses, spiral waves, spiral-wave chaos--in excitable media. Our approach is based on two points: (1) excitable media are multistable; and (2) traveling waves in excitable media can be separated into fast and slow motions, which can be considered independently. We show that weak impulses can be used to change the values of the slow variable at the front and back of a traveling wave, which leads to wave front and wave back velocities that are different from each other. This effect can destabilize the traveling wave, resulting in a transition to the rest state.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a model system with two identical time-delayed coupled layers. Synchronization and anti-phase synchronization are exhibited in the reactive system without diffusion term. New segmented spiral waves, which are constituted by many thin trips, are found in each layer of two identical time-delayed coupled layers, and are different from the segmented spiral waves in a water-in-oil aerosol sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate (AOT) microemulsion (ME) (BZ-AOT system), which consists of many small segments. "Anti-phase spiral wave synchronization" can be realized between the first layer and the second one. For different excitable parameters, we also give the minimum values of the coupling strength to generate segmented spiral waves and the tip orbits of spiral waves in the whole bilayer.  相似文献

This paper proposes a scheme of parameter perturbation to suppress the stable rotating spiral wave, meandering spiral wave and turbulence in the excitable media, which is described by the modified Fitzhug-Nagumo (MFHN) model. The controllable parameter in the MFHN model is perturbed with a weak pulse and the pulse period is decided by the rotating period of the spiral wave approximatively. It is confirmed that the spiral wave and spiral turbulence can be suppressed greatly. Drift and instability of spiral wave can be observed in the numerical simulation tests before the whole media become homogeneous finally.  相似文献

We numerically study the dynamics of spiral waves in the excitable system with the excitability modulated by a rectangle wave. The tip trajectories and their variations with the modulation period T are explained by the corresponding spectrum analysis. For a large T ,the external modulation leads to the occurrence of more frequency peaks and these frequencies change with the modulation period according to their specific rules,respectively. Some of the frequencies and a primary frequency f 1 determine the corresponding curvature periods,which are locked into rational multiplies of the modulation period. These frequency-locking behaviours and the limited life-span of the frequencies in their variations with the modulation period constitute many resonant entrainment bands in the T axis. In the main bands,which follow the relation T/T 12 = m/n,the size variable R x of the tip trajectory is a monotonic increasing function of T . The rest of the frequencies are linear combinations of the two ones. Due to the complex dynamics,many unique tip trajectories appear at some certain T . We find also that spiral waves are eliminated when T is chosen from the end of the main resonant bands. This offers a useful method of controling the spiral wave.  相似文献

Spiral waves, whose rotation center can be regarded as a point defect, widely exist in various two-dimensional excitable systems. In this paper, by making use of Duan's topological current theory, we obtain the charge density of spiral waves and the topological inner structure of its topological charge. The evolution of spiral wave is also studied from the topological properties of a two-dimensional vector field. The spiral waves are found generating or annihilating at the limit points and encountering, splitting, or merging at the bifurcation points of the two-dimensional vector field. 在许多实际可激系统中局部不均匀是广泛存在的, 它们是螺旋波形成以及动力学行为改变的重要因素. 本文研究了可激性障碍对螺旋波动力学行为的影响. 研究表明, 在障碍区域内可激性参数大于区域外情况下障碍会对其附近的螺旋波波头有吸引作用, 多局部障碍共存时吸引行为不仅依赖障碍分布, 而且依赖障碍的大小以及区域内可激性参数的具体取值. 通过抑制变量小值区域的变化分析了这些行为发生的原因. 在障碍区域内可激性参数小于区域外情况下障碍对其近邻的螺旋波波头有排斥作用, 排斥后波头的运动依赖初始螺旋波是刚性旋转的还是漫游的. 多局部障碍共存时排斥作用对螺旋波动力学行为的改变依赖障碍的分布、大小与区域内可激性参数的具体取值以及初始螺旋波的类型. 关键词: 螺旋波 时空混沌 可激性障碍  相似文献
