On the Soliton Resolution for Equivariant Wave Maps to the Sphere

We consider finite energy corotational wave maps with target manifold . We prove that for a sequence of times, they decompose as a sum of decoupled harmonic maps in the light cone, and a smooth wave map (in the blowup case) or a linear scattering term (in the global case), up to an error which tends to 0 in the energy space. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

Blow up for Initial-Boundary Value Problem of Wave Equation with a Nonlinear Memory in 1-D

The present paper is devoted to studying the initial-boundary value problem of a 1-D wave equation with a nonlinear memory: u_(tt) - u_(xx) = 1/ Γ(1 - γ) ∫_0~t (t - s)~(-γ)|u(s)|~pds. The blow up result will be established when p 1 and 0 γ 1, no matter how small the initial data are, by introducing two test functions and a new functional.     

Blow up for Systems of Wave Equations in Exterior Domain

In this paper the author studies the initial boundary value problem of semilinear wave systems in exterior domain in high dimensions(n ≥ 3). Blow up result is established and what is more, the author gets the upper bound of the lifespan. For this purpose the test function method is used.

Blow up of Solutions of a Nonlinear Viscoelastic Wave Equation

We consider a nonlinear viscoelastic wave equation with nonlinear source term. Under suitable conditions on g, it is proved that any weak solution with negative initial energy blows up in finite time if p>2.     

半线性波动方程的自相似解

研究了具有非线性项|u|~αu的半线性波动方程的Cauclly问题,利用仿积分解及交换子估计等技术,证明了当α为一般的实数且满足一定的限制时,Cauchy问题自相似解的存在性。本文的结果回答了Planchon在其工作中所遗留的问题。     

非线性发展方程混合问题解的爆破性质

讨论了具有第三类非线性边界条件的非线性发展方程的混合问题,并在已知函数满足某些假设的条件下,利用抛物型方程的最大值原理和凸性方法,证明了该问题的解在有限时间内爆破.     

关于上半连续集值映象的连续选择问题

本文进一步研究了上半连续集值映象的连续选择问题．首先,用一反例指出Ａｕｂｉｎ Ｊ、 Ｐ［１］中一结果不能成立．另外,对上半连续映象的σ－可选择性给出了另一逼近形式的结果．     

On the Initial‐Boundary Value Problem for the Linearized Boussinesq Equation

This work is concerned with the initial‐boundary value problem for the Boussinesq equation. By employing the unified transform method of Fokas, novel solution formulae for the linearized “good” Boussinesq equation on the half‐line with various initial and boundary conditions are obtained. Moreover, these solution formulae are numerically illustrated in the case of concrete data. Finally, Boussinesq's original physical derivation of the so‐called “bad” Boussinesq equation is provided.     

Spaces of Maps into Classifying Spaces for Equivariant Crossed Complexes, II: The General Topological Group Case

The results of a previous paper on the equivariant homotopy theory of crossed complexes are generalised from the case of a discrete group to general topological groups. The principal new ingredient necessary for this is an analysis of homotopy coherence theory for crossed complexes, using detailed results on the appropriate Eilenberg–Zilber theory, and of its relation to simplicial homotopy coherence. Again, our results give information not just on the homotopy classification of certain equivariant maps, but also on the weak equivariant homotopy type of the corresponding equivariant function spaces.
