For the (linear) transportation problem withm supply nodes,n demand nodes andk feasible arcs we describe an algorithm which runs in time proportional tom logm(k + n logn) (assuming w.l.o.g.mn). The algorithm uses excess scaling. The complexity bound is a slight improvement over the bound achieved by an application of a min-cost-flow algorithm of Orlin to the transportation problem.Corresponding author. In this paper, a bicriteria solid transportation problem with stochastic parameters is investigated. Three mathematical models are constructed for the problem, including expected value goal programming model, chance-constrained goal programming model and dependent-chance goal programming model. A hybrid algorithm is also designed based on the random simulation algorithm and tabu search algorithm to solve the models. At last, some numerical experiments are presented to show the performance of models and algorithm.  相似文献

This paper considers a coordinated scheduling problem. For the first-stage transportation there is a crane available to transport the product from the warehouse to a batching machine. For the second-stage transportation there is a vehicle available to deliver the completed jobs from the machine shop floor to the customer. The coordinated scheduling problem of production and transportation deals with sequencing the transportation of the jobs and combining them into batches to be processed. The problem of minimizing the sum of the makespan and the total setup cost was proven by Tang and Gong [1] to be strongly NP-hard. This paper proposes two genetic algorithm (GA) approaches for this scheduling problem, with different result representations. The experimental results demonstrate that a regular GA and a modified GA (MGA) can find near-optimal solutions within an acceptable amount of computational time. Among the two proposed metaheuristic approaches, the MGA is superior to the GA both in terms of computing time and the quality of the solution.  相似文献

针对当前飞机结构的设计要求,建立了飞机结构安全的评价模型指标集,利用AHP方法提炼出4大类,14项具体指标,并确定指标权重,采用二元语义及其算子将评价语言值进行集结,对飞机结构安全进行评价.给出了评价步骤,并用实例说明该方法具有一定的可操作性,且合理可信.  相似文献

The airline industry is under intense competition to simultaneously increase efficiency and satisfaction for passengers and profitability and internal system benefit for itself. The boarding process is one way to achieve these objectives as it tends itself to adaptive changes. In order to increase the flying time of a plane, commercial airlines try to minimize the boarding time, which is one of the most lengthy parts of a plane’s turn time. To reduce boarding time, it is thus necessary to minimize the number of interferences between passengers by controlling the order in which they get onto the plane through a boarding policy. Here, we determine the passenger boarding problem and examine the different kinds of passenger boarding strategies and boarding interferences in a single aisle aircraft. We offer a new integer linear programming approach to reduce the passenger boarding time. A genetic algorithm is used to solve this problem. Numerical results show effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献

A bus network design problem for Tin Shui Wai, a suburban residential area in Hong Kong, is investigated, which considers the bus services from the origins inside this suburban area to the destinations in the urban areas. The problem aims to improve the existing bus services by reducing the number of transfers and the total travel time of the users. This has been achieved by the proposed integrated solution method which can solve the route design and frequency setting problems simultaneously. In the proposed solution method, a genetic algorithm, which tackles the route design problem, is hybridized with a neighborhood search heuristic, which tackles the frequency setting problem. A new solution representation scheme and specific genetic operators are developed so that the genetic algorithm can search all possible route structures, rather than selecting routes from the predefined set. To avoid premature convergence, a diversity control mechanism is incorporated in the solution method based on a new definition of hamming distance. To illustrate the robustness and quality of solutions obtained, computational experiments are performed based on 1000 perturbed demand matrices. The t-test results show that the design obtained by the proposed solution method is robust under demand uncertainty, and the design is better than both the current design and the design obtained by solving the route design problem and the frequency setting problem sequentially. Compared with the current bus network design, the proposed method can generate a design which can simultaneously reduce the number of transfers and total travel time at least by 20.9% and 22.7% respectively. Numerical studies are also performed to illustrate the effectiveness of the diversity control mechanism introduced and the effects of weights on the two objective values.  相似文献
