The paper is concerned with the eigenvalue problems for piezoelectric bodies with voids in contact with massive rigid plane punches and coved by the system of open-circuited and short-circuited electrodes. The linear theory of piezoelectric materials with voids for porosity change properties according to Cowin–Nunziato model is used. The generalized statements for eigenvalue problem are obtained in the extended and reduced forms. A variational principle is constructed which has the properties of minimality, similar to the well-known variational principle for problems with pure elastic media. The discreteness of the spectrum and completeness of the eigenfunctions are proved. The orthogonality relations for eigenvectors are obtained in different forms. As a consequence of variational principles, the properties of an increase or a decrease in the natural frequencies, when the mechanical, electric and “porous” boundary conditions and the moduli of piezoelectric solid with voids change, are established.  相似文献

从粘弹性材料的Boltzmann迭加原理和带空洞材料的线弹性本构关系出发,提出了一种损伤粘弹性材料具有广义力场的本构模型.应用变积方法得到了以卷积形式表示的泛函,并建立了损伤粘弹性固体的广义变分原理和广义势能原理.把它们应用于带损伤的粘弹性Timoshenko梁,得到了Timoshenko梁的统一的运动微分方程、初始条件和边界条件. 这些广义变分原理为近似求解带损伤的粘弹性问题提供了一条途径.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to multi-parameter eigenvalue problems for one-dimensional perturbed p-Laplacians, modelling travelling waves for a class of nonlinear evolution PDE. Dispersion relations between the eigen-parameters, the existence of eigenfunctions and positive eigenfunctions, variational principles for eigenvalues and constructing solutions in the analytical and implicit forms are the main subject of this paper. In this paper we study eigenvalue problems for hemivariational and variational inequalities driven by the pp-Laplacian differential operator. Using topological methods (based on multivalued versions of the Leray–Schauder alternative principle) and variational methods (based on the nonsmooth critical point theory), we prove existence and multiplicity results for the eigenvalue problems that we examine.  相似文献

本文利用拉氏乘子法把薄板弯曲问题的最小位能原理和最小余能原理的变分约束条件解除.从而导出了常见的广义变分原理.为了降低泛函中变量导数的阶次.我们用对合变换引进新的正则变量.于是,我们可以进一步利用拉氏乘子法,把这些对合变换当作变分约束而予以消除,从而导出了各种多变量的薄板弯曲广义变分原理.事实证明,使用上述拉氏乘子法,并不能消除一切变分约束;为此,我们进一步引用高阶拉氏乘子法消除这些剩下来的约束条件,从而导得了薄板弯曲问题的更一般的广义变分原理.  相似文献

This contribution is concerned with mixed finite element formulations for modeling piezoelectric beam and shell structures. Due to the electromechanical coupling, specific deformation modes are joined with electric field components. In bending dominated problems incompatible approximation functions of these fields cause incorrect results. These effects occur in standard finite element formulations, where interpolation functions of lowest order are used. A mixed variational approach is introduced to overcome these problems. The mixed formulation allows for a consistent approximation of the electromechanical coupled problem. It utilizes six independent fields and could be derived from a Hu-Washizu variational principle. Displacements, rotations and the electric potential are employed as nodal degrees of freedom. According to the Timoshenko theory (beam) and the Reissner-Mindlin theory (shell), the formulations account for constant transversal shear strains. To incorporate three dimensional constitutive relations all transversal components of the electric field and the strain field are enriched by mixed finite element interpolations. Thus the complete piezoelectric coupling is appropriately captured. The common assumption of vanishing transversal stress and dielectric displacement components is enforced in an integral sense. A variational inequality theory for demicontinuous S-contractive maps in Hilbert spaces is established by employing the ideas of Granas' topological transversality. Such a variational inequality theory has many properties similar to those of fixed point theory for demicontinuous weakly inward S-contractive maps and to those of fixed point index for condensing maps. The variational inequality theory will be applied to study the existence of positive weak solutions and eigenvalue problems for semilinear second-order elliptic inequalities with nonlinearities which satisfy suitable lower bound conditions involving the critical Sobolev exponent. There has been little discussion for such elliptic inequalities involving the critical Sobolev exponent in the literature.  相似文献

Summary We consider real Monge-Ampère equations and we present two new properties of these equations. First, we show the existence of the «first eigenvalue of Monge-Ampère equation» i.e. we show the existence of a positive constant possessing all the properties of the first eigenvalue of a 2-nd order elliptic operator (positivity, uniqueness of the eigenfunction, maximum principle, bifurcation...).The second property concerns variational characterisations of solutions. Both properties are closely related to similar properties of the general class of Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equations.  相似文献

以三维弹性体的Hellinger-Reissner(H-R)混合变分原理为基础,建立了三维磁电弹性体修正后的H-R混合变分原理,通过变分运算得到了磁电弹性板的状态向量方程,并应用该原理导出了平面内离散元素的状态向量方程,为半解析法在磁电弹性板问题上的应用奠定了理论基础.最后指出:纯弹性体、单一压电体或单一压磁体修正后的H-R混合变分原理都是目前原理的特例.  相似文献

In this paper a spectral method and a numerical continuation algorithm for solving eigenvalue problems for the rectangular von Kármán plate with different boundary conditions (simply supported, partially or totally clamped) and physical parameters are introduced. The solution of these problems has a postbuckling behaviour. The spectral method is based on a variational principle (Galerkin’s approach) with a choice of global basis functions which are combinations of trigonometric functions. Convergence results of this method are proved and the rate of convergence is estimated. The discretized nonlinear model is treated by Newton’s iterative scheme and numerical continuation. Branches of eigenfunctions found by the algorithm are traced. Numerical results of solving the problems for polygonal and ferroconcrete plates are presented. Communicated by A. Zhou.  相似文献

We develop a new approach to a posteriori error estimation for Galerkin finite element approximations of symmetric and nonsymmetric elliptic eigenvalue problems. The idea is to embed the eigenvalue approximation into the general framework of Galerkin methods for nonlinear variational equations. In this context residual-based a posteriori error representations are available with explicitly given remainder terms. The careful evaluation of these error representations for the concrete situation of an eigenvalue problem results in a posteriori error estimates for the approximations of eigenvalues as well as eigenfunctions. These suggest local error indicators that are used in the mesh refinement process.  相似文献

The nonlinear eigenvalue problem in buckling analysis is studied for von Kármán plates. By using the general duality theory developed by Gao-Strang [1, 2] it is proved that the stability criterion for the bifurcated state depends on a reduced complementary gap function. The duality theory is established for nonlinear bifurcation problems. This theory shows that the nonlinear eigenvalue problem is eventually equivalent to a coupled quadratic dual optimization problem. A series of equivalent variational principles are constructed and a lower bound theorem for the first eigenvalue of the buckling factor is proved.  相似文献

Optimal stopping and impulse control problems with certain multiplicative functionals are considered. The stopping problems are solved by showing the unique existence of the solutions of relevant variational inequalities. However, since functions defining the multiplicative costs change the signs, some difficulties arise in solving the variational inequalities. Through gauge transformation we rewrite the variational inequalities in different forms with the obstacles which grow exponentially fast but with positive killing rates. Through the analysis of such variational inequalities we construct optimal stopping times for the problems. Then optimal strategies for impulse control problems on the infinite time horizon with multiplicative cost functionals are constructed from the solutions of the risk-sensitive variational inequalities of "ergodic type" as well. Application to optimal investment with fixed ratio transaction costs is also considered.  相似文献

A one-parameter family of variational problems is examined that interpolates between torsional rigidity and the first Dirichlet eigenvalue of the Laplacian. The associated partial differential equation is derived, which is shown to have positive solutions in many cases. Results are obtained regarding extremal domains and regarding variations of the domain or the parameter.  相似文献
