The thermal stability of a triangular nanowire array under an external magnetic field is studied by the damage spreading technique. The results show that stability of the system may be enhanced by decreasing the spacing of magnetic cells (or increasing the storage density). The existence of an external magnetic field is another way to hinder the damage spreading.  相似文献

Using the scattering-matrix cascading method, we investigate the effect of structural defect on the acoustic phonon transmission and thermal conductance in the superlattice nanowire at low temperatures. In the present system, the phonon transmissions exhibit quite complex oscillatory behaviour. It is found that a lateral defect in an otherwise periodic structure significantly decrease the thermal conductance and completely washes away the transmission quantization. However, the appreciable transmission quantization survives in the presence of a longitudinal defect whereas a good quantization plateau of thermal conductance emerges below the universal level in a wide temperature range with the lateral defect.  相似文献

本文采用密度泛函理论研究了Cr原子单掺杂和双掺杂(ZnSe)_(12)团簇的结构、电子性质和磁性质.考虑了三种掺杂方式:替代掺杂,外掺杂和内掺杂.单掺杂时,外掺杂团簇是最稳定结构,而对于双掺杂,内掺杂团簇是最稳定结构.团簇磁矩主要来自Cr-3d态的贡献,4s和4p态也贡献了一小部分磁矩.由于轨道杂化,相邻的Zn和Se原子上也产生少量自旋.结果显示Cr原子间的磁性耦合是短程相互作用.  相似文献

采用化学液相合成法制备了纳米Pd,热稳定性研究表明,温度在773~523K内,样品的平均粒径与退火温度T之间服从Arrhenius关系,且平均粒径与退火时间t之间满足经验公式=ktn。纳米Pd的热稳定范围T≤250℃。计算得到纳米Pd颗粒生长的表观激活能为0.15eV,远比纳米复合材料的生长激活能小(约为1eV)。故纳米Pd颗粒-极易长大,热稳定范围非常窄。  相似文献

We study the deterministic diffusion coefficient of the two-dimensional periodic Lorentz gas as a function of the density of scatterers. Based on computer simulations, and by applying straightforward analytical arguments, we systematically improve the Machta–Zwanzig random walk approximation [Phys. Rev. Lett. 50:1959 (1983)] by including microscopic correlations. We furthermore, show that, on a fine scale, the diffusion coefficient is a non-trivial function of the density. On a coarse scale and for lower densities, the diffusion coefficient exhibits a Boltzmann-like behavior, whereas for very high densities it crosses over to a regime which can be understood qualitatively by the Machta–Zwanzig approximation.  相似文献

The thermal expansion against temperature of ZnS, ZnSe and ZnTe is studied theoretically using the experimental pressure dependence of elastic stiffness constants and phonon frequencies. The mode Grüneisen parameters obtained from the high pressure effect on the one- and two- phonon Raman spectra at the metallic transition pressure by Weinstein are used originally, but do not reproduce the experimental linear expansion coefficient at high temperatures. The contributions from optical modes with large phonon frequency are important to the thermal expansion at high temperatures, and a set of mode Grüneisen parameters, which bring good agreement with the observed linear expansion coefficient not only at low temperatures, but also at high temperatures, are obtained. Then, the phonon dispersion curves of ZnS, ZnSe and ZnTe at their metallic transition pressures are quantitatively shown.  相似文献

In the framework of the nonorthogonal tight-binding model, the thermal stability of pentagraphene is studied by numerical simulation using the molecular dynamics technique. Pentagraphene is the recently predicted two-dimensional allotropic modification of carbon, in which the С–С bonds form only pentagons, whereas the hexagons characteristic of carbon nanostructures are absent. It is found that the thermally activated rotation of one С–С bond by an angle of 45° initiates the formation of а defect region, which does not remain localized and rapidly propagates over the whole sample, leading eventually to the total destruction of the sample structure. Nevertheless, the probability of such rotation turns out to be so small that, even at room temperature, pentagraphene can preserve its structure for a fairly long time. This time decreases with the growth of the sample size.  相似文献

Curved streak patterns are clearly observed in the azimuth of [1 0 0] when the substrate temperature is heated up to 600°C, suggesting that the one-dimensional Li chains are stable. The growth rates of non-doped ZnSe on Li-doped ZnSe are found to be about 1/2 of that of non-doped ZnSe grown on GaAs. Even when no Li is supplied, the RHEED exhibits clear curved streak patterns. The results indicate that Li atoms segregate onto the topmost surface during the MBE growth, because of high diffusivity of Li, resulting in the formation of 1D array.  相似文献

用分子动力学方法模拟一种特殊结构Si20 (表面异构的硅十二面体结构)填充到不同管径的扶手椅型碳纳米管中组成复合结构的热稳定性。通过能量分析和定量统计缺陷多边形数量等方法来研究这种结构在碳纳米管中的稳定性和结构演变情况。研究发现Si20的热稳定性和碳纳米管的直径关系密切;其在CNT(15, 15)中的热稳定性最好,当管径逐渐增加时,其热稳定性呈下降趋势;直至管径增加到CNT(21, 21),碳纳米管对Si20的空间限制作用变得很小,以至于不足以维持Si20的稳定。此外,Si原子因热振动替换碳纳米管中C原子而形成十二边形缺陷,这对碳纳米管的热稳定性有着明显的降低作用。  相似文献

We present a simple route for ZnSe nanowire growth in the ablation crater on a ZnSe crystal surface. The crystal wafer, which was horizontally dipped in pure water, was irradiated by femtosecond laser pulses. No furnace, vacuum chamber or any metal catalyst were used in this experiment. The size of the nanowires is about 1-3 μm long and 50-150 nm in diameter. The growth rate is 1-3 μm/s, which is much higher than that achieved with molecular-beam epitaxy and chemical vapor deposition methods. Our discovery reveals a rapid and simple way to grow nanowires on designed micro-patterns, which may have potential applications in microscopic optoelectronics.  相似文献

分析了布拉格光纤光栅纤芯折射率和光栅反射率随温度和时间变化的规律,应用有关模型提出了加速衰变的概念,并由此建立了相关退火工艺。利用衰变曲线可预测光栅在给定时间和温度下的特性,理论和实验结果相吻合。  相似文献
